The nail tech I had gave me the quickest pedicure I have ever had. In doing so she cut the nail on my big toe too deep on the side dug out an ingrown nail too deep as well. Five days later I still am experiencing pain. Plus she kept talking to the young guy beside her and holding up my foot for him to see. Just not a pleasant experience at all. Go somewhere else! Or at least don’t get the middle aged lady!!

My sister loves this place and I decided to come with her a few times. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted from showing pictures. Its very clean and they get straight to business. The last time I went though wasnt so pleasant.

By recommendation from colleagues, I expected a pleasant experience at this nail salon. Here’s a look at my first impression: I called to make an appt and they said it wasn’t busy so walk-in. I said I would arrive in 10 min and once I got there I had to wait 30 min to be seated. I would recommend having a client already start with the SNS removal process during their wait. Expect to soak half of your fingers in acetone and have sticky residue left all over your fingertips. I had a nail tech who didn’t speak English so communication was impossible without an interpreter. She had to interrupt her colleague with another client to interpret what I was asking and this happened about 15 times. After she dipped my nails and was preparing for the final coat, I took a look and saw a ragged film of SNS on my cuticle extending to my skin. I asked her to shape the SNS to my nail bed, she didn’t understand and asked her colleague to interpret. She did the bare minimum and I had to ask her to do it 3 more times because she kept packing up the equipment thinking the work was done. In the midst of all this, she and her colleague were irritated at the situation. And, I’m sitting here in shock having to ask for the appropriate quality for SNS on my nail not my skin. On top of that, she left SNS all over the sides on my skin from my previous color and the current color. She attempted to remove it with a nail file on my skin! I had to ask multiple times to get that removed. At this point, I’m appalled at the fact that I have to micromanage the process of getting my SNS. She stopped at every nail and looked at me pointing at my nail waiting for approval. It seemed like she was brand new to SNS. She still left set powder underneath my nail bed leaving it sticky. About 2 hours in, she gave up and I was fed up with the service, lack of quality and attention to detail. To reiterate, I’m speaking to this experience with this nail tech. It seems the salon doesn’t have a manager or owner present to take feedback or anyone who cares to even take any and when I called to give feedback more discretely that in person, I offered to just write a google review and they replied with a careless attitude and said ok fine. My advice would be to be intentional with your nail tech and have an appt set it stone.

Different length nails. Shape requested was square - gave me almond/ round, and gel came out streaky with air bubbles. Wouldn’t recommend this place or ever go back.

If you’re looking for fun, perfectly shaped nails this is the place to go! I have never been disappointed, everyone is super nice, and they are very professional. For acrylics I would definitely recommend requesting Brian or Ryan but every nail tech there does a great job.

Showed them a nail design and they messed up. Even though we had a scheduled appointment they still ended up making us wait 45 minutes more than everyone else who also had an appointment but they came in after us and they were seated a lot quicker than we were and they also messed up my other nail appointment who with me as well. And still charged us full price. And also while we were sitting down the other guests were offered Refreshments we never were they rushed through our nail work and then told us that they had 20 minutes left of work to do and it up being 30 minutes left of work and they kind of like rushed it for the other appointment that was after us. A slightly good job for full price... Will never go back. The hostess was nice though even to the other customers.

Brian was amazing! I’ve never been so confident in my nails! Highly recommended… I’m coming back every time and I live an hour an a half away!

I love this place,its my first time going there but they did such a great job and did my nails exactly like I wanted! Love it, Ive been wanting to do the Red Sole Shoes inspired nails for a very long time now and now I get to look at these babies every minute of the day 😁😉. Will be going back soon, definitely. So happy!

Worst gel manicure I’ve probably ever gotten. The nail tech was clearly in a rush and she left in the middle of my manicure to go wax someone’s eyebrows. As soon as she finished I could tell it awful quality- streaky and poorly done. It began chipping in 24 hours and now 3 days later it’s all peeling off. Don’t waste your money here.

I usually give good reviews and usually be satisfied this time i wasn’t this time the new man that was doing my pedi didn’t offer me the book and ask me which one i want, didn’t scrub my feet enough, didn’t let my feet’s sit in the water only for 3 mins didn’t get the dirt between the nails i’m very unsatisfied !

Went to Noire for the first time to get gel nails done for a trip. The manicure did not last 3 days into the trip until bottom of nails all started to peel. I have never had a manicure do this and when I called about the issue I was told they could be redone however when I went to the salon I was this was not honored. I would recommend somewhere else for more professional services.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. When I first moved to North Carolina, I couldnt find any good nail salons until I came across Noire! I usually get my acrylic nails from Ryan or Bryan and they do such an amazing job. You show them a picture of whatever you want (including designs and shapes and all!) they can do it for you. I have recommended this place to 3 of my friends already and they all have loved it. The salon is SUPER clean, EVERYONE is super nice and the quality of nails is amazing. I also had the privilege of meeting the owner last time and she was also the nicest. I am so thankful to have found this place, my new nail salon.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and finally found my favorite nail tech!! Jennifer ALWAYS does an awesome job on my Dip powder nails, they always look so natural!! I now make appointments so that I get her every time. Not only is she great at what she does she also a really sweet lady 🤗

The employee (a red headed white girl) at the front desk had no professionalism. I explained that I did not have an appointment and was a walk in.She did not greet me, but said you can wash your hands in the back. I thought that was off, but the Tech was there to escort me, so I followed him to the chair.The nail tech was named V and was fantastic. He was skilled and polite. I was pleased with his work (mani-pedi). V took my credit card prior to starting the manicure as is customary. Everything was going well until I was leaving.The same woman at the front desk raised her voice as I was walking out the door and asked if I paid. I walked over to her and said that was not the proper way to address anyone especially a senior citizen. I told her I would not walk out of anywhere without paying. Had she been more observant, she would have seen me at the manicure table and as well as the drying station. I saw her walking around numerous times while in those areas.Lastly, I was overcharged for services rendered. I reviewed the receipt later and saw the prices were not the same as listed in the brochure. I called and spoke to the incompetent greeter who said there was a price increase effective this weekend (how convenient)!I explained that she had to honor the prices listed in the brochure, and she agreed. I asked if she could make the adjustment over the phone, and the response was “no.” I have to return to the shop to get my refund - a place where I was embarrassed for no reason and disrespected.Stay clear of this place!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to write one due to my situation with them today. Brian did such an amazing job doing my acrylic nails. I had an appointment for nail removal & a new full set of acrylics. The pervious nail set I had was done at a different nail salon. She ruined my cuticles and nail bed. Brian was extremely gentle and kind when doing my nails. He kept reassuring with me if it hurt whenever he was drilling because of how sensitive my nails were. He fixed them up right up and I will forever be grateful for that. Thank you so much! I’ve never had a bad experience at Noire.

Ive had a wonderful experience every time Ive gone to Noire. The attention to detail is impressive. The deluxe pedicure and Queen pedicure are both well worth it - I leave relaxed with beautiful toes.

This is my favorite place in town! I always come here when I want quality nails for an affordable price. The staff is very kind and the work done is seriously amazing. Super professional staff, clean environment and the quality is unbeatable for the price, I mean look at the picture 😍Highly recommended for anyone who is around!

It’s really a toss up with this place. I’ve had great and not so great service here. I made an appointment days in advance (for right when they opened) and I still had to wait 30 minutes for them to get to me. They aren’t up front about their prices - I was charged $62 for a take off and full set. I wasn’t even aware that they only had given me gel colors to choose from (which is significantly more than normal polish) and just assumed they were expensive (this was my first time getting acrylics there). When I got my receipt I was charged $10 for “other” - what even is that?? I know I should have looked at the receipt before I left, but they were really busy so I didn’t want to cause more stress. But even when I was checking out I was told it was just the price for a full set. Long story short, I probably won’t be coming back because I’m just pretty frustrated with them and I’ve given a few chances.

My daughter and I had an appointment. My technician was rough, and performed minimally at warp speed. Very disappointing and not relaxing for a mother daughter shared experience. My daughter’s technician took twice as long for the same services.

Its a nice set up but they are way overpriced and I didnt feel like I got a good pedicure. I paid for rubbish. Do not go here.

SAVE YOUR MONEY we come to the spa to get pampered and Relax not add to our stress!!! Their nail tech Brian has the worst attitude He messed up my nails I asked can he fix it and was told I can just take it off and if I go somewhere else they will charge a lot to do what I asked for sir I never asked about the price I just want you to fix your mess up, They didnt have any colors I asked for and I said ok ill work with it but to smug my nails and not try and clean it up is a whole nother thing. Then his attitude towards black people is just nasty will never do business here again or tell my friends,and family about you.I have never paid someone to treat me as nasty as he did!!! Over it.....

My mother in law and I went to get fillings. The only person at this place was the receptionist! Our nail techs hardly talked to us at all. I had a picture of what I’d like done and my nail tech did accomplish it to the best he could. My mother in law had a very simpleDesign she wanted and her nail tech said no he couldn’t. Didn’t even offer to help her figure out a substitute for what he could not do. Al lane wanted was gold leaves on her nails. Most places could do this. The only reason I am leaving a 3 star is because my nails, even though not exactly as I wanted, did turn out very nice and the receptionist was super polite.

This is a very nice place. My review is more on the customer service. So I foolishly went to a salon that was near the area I was waiting for an appointment, I just got a fill in and wanted a French manicure with sparkles under I was told I had to do a dipping powder for this I did not ever have this service so I kinda debated and finally agreed at the end of this service I went to pay and it was 155 holy hell!! Practically in tears I called Noire and asked never I was so unsure about things and the lady on the phone was so kind and apologized for a service that they didnt even do she made the blow not be s bad!! Thank you so so much!!! I will be a customer of theres 100%

I’m giving this place one star... I wanted a design on one finger on both hands. And the design that Brian tried to do, my 5 yr old granddaughter could’ve done a better job. I noticed the next day how badly he painted my nails. Went back and got it repainted. 10 days later my nails paint is chipping. And it’s gel polish 🤦🏽‍♀️I WILL NEVER RETURN!!🤬

Unfortunately, they are very disrespectful of others time. Today was the third time they made me wait an hour when on all three occasions I had an appointment. What is wrong with being honest and letting me know that they are behind and the wait is an hour instead of always saying, almost done. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Requested simple gold leaf design & was told could not be done; however they did an intricate spiderwebbed with spider for my daughter. Made no attempts to offer anything. Very disappointed with customer service. Bill was $100 for 2 fill ins.Update: We decided to try again & return for another visit. We did not mention our previous experience & really went in with positive attitudes. We were greeted immediately and the atmosphere was welcoming. The customer service was amazing. The nail technicians were attentive and listened to our requests for design. They offered suggestions and took their time. Our nails are beautiful. We left knowing we would return.

Save your money and keep scrolling!!! I contemplated writing this review, but I’m a firm believer in not wasting your money. I went to this salon a few days before thanksgiving to get dip powder (sns?). Two days later six nails were cracked and chipped (two cracked same day) . I returned to get them fixed and was met with judgment, a rude male that debated me on what color I got, and someone that redid in a haste. I literally did nothing to cause this, but had to keep explaining myself (I only went back because I had family photos a couple days later and didn’t have a choice at another salon nor did I feel I should pay for a fresh set after just getting them done) Needless to say the same nails started to chip about three days later. I will not be returning. They do not care about taking their time or quality work. The First Lady was super nice I think she just wasn’t as experienced with applying dip. **Disclaimer I’ve gotten my nails done every two weeks for the last two years I just moved to NC and had to look for a new salon, but it won’t be this one** save your money and keep scrolling!!!

I have been to this salon 2 times now, and had 2 different staff members do my nails (full set acrylic, coffin shape with gel polish) and both times I have been so happy with the results! I have been getting so many compliments and their pricing is very reasonable. So far I highly recommend!

I didnt got whati ask for, the guy who did my nails hurt my fingers and was so rude with the nail drill he hurt me so much and it was so expensive.

Refused to give my lady a refund when they butchered her nails. Said they would fix it but she had already gone somewhere else. This is the 4th or 5th time theyve done a bad job on her nails.

This was probably the best nail salon I’ve ever been too. My first time experience at this nail salon was amazing. I can’t even begin to explain how wonderful and relaxing the time I had. Once you walk into the salon it’s so beautiful. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite and thorough. Brian was amazing, my nails came out beautifully. My pedicure was to die for, I didn’t catch the guys name that did it but he was amazing as well. I think the massage was what blew me away. My skin felt so rejuvenated and my paint job was perfect. I showed up with no appointment so that they could fix a botched manicure. I was seated and helped almost immediately and the results were beautiful. Ryan did my nails and you can tell he is a perfectionist they are exactly what I asked for and absolutely lovely.I will be going here from now on!

This is probably the best nail place in all of chapel hill & believe me, i’ve tried plenty of them. i called last minute to get a full set in place of a terrible gel manicure i received somewhere else in town & they took me! it was my first time there & it surely won’t be the last. the inside is beautiful and the customer service is great! they have very reasonable prices. it’s safe to say i’ve found my new nail salon!

DO NOT get your nails taken off here! This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. If i wanted my nails to be shredded from taking off my acrylics I would have done it at home! Instead of soaking the nails off the man picked and cut at my nails until they popped off, and it was painful to say the least. I literally asked him multiple times to soak my nails off like every other nail salon does, and he responded with “No this is faster that takes too long”. Needless to say the pictures speak for themselves! I opted out of the manicure i was going to get and was initially still going to be charged almost 30$ for this absolutely terrible outcome, however after going back and forth with the nail tech I eventually spoke to the manager who allowed me to leave without having to pay. I definitely will not be returning to this nail salon.

I got my nails done yesterday for my birthday by Brian and i told him what i would like ombré nails & he did regular powder on all my nails with NO ombré and he also painted some of my nails very poorly . I also wanted my nails long and Brian cut my nails REALLY short . This is my 3rd time going to this nail salon and the first 2 times my experience was ok but i am absolutely not happy about my visit with them from yesterday.

I got the regular acrylic coffin nails, not even the gel ones, and they have stayed on perfectly for over 2 and a half weeks! they arent even close to breaking or falling off and have stayed intact so well, and for such a good price! i highly highly recommend this place for acrylics! :)))

I went to get acrylics done full set and it was not good at all they dont know how to do the fill and they over charge for the quality they give. I would not recommend at all! Choose another place!

I havent been able to get any bodywork done since the beginning of the pandemic crisis, and my pain/self-care has been struggling. My 45min Deluxe Pedicure experience at Noire left me feeling like I had a full spa day. Katie took excellent care of me. This facility takes the recommended health precautions very seriously, as they should! Im grateful that this place is open and that the workers are continuing to show up. Thank you Katie and team at Noire!

I got a pedicure and gel manicure here. Steven did my nails (both). He was very polite and carefully did everything. He asked me a couple of times if the water was a good temperature, if I needed anything to drink, if I liked the shape of my nails. I had a very nice experience. The salon is large and tastefully decorated. Things are clean. The bathrooms are clean and nice. Single stall unisex bathrooms. They have a wide selection of matching gel/regular colors. They offer SNS nails. Very nice salon.

If you want to lose nails or have irritated cuticles this my friend is the place to go. I came here, and got a full set. As of now I have lost two pinky nails, do to how they apply their acrylic. My fingers look horrible, I would post a picture but I don’t have that option. My mother also received service from this shop and now her cuticles are messed up. After receiving my full set, the very next day I was back in the shop to get a nail replaced. If you don’t mind wasting your money for poor quality then this is the place for you.

This place was one of my favorites. Recently I had a bad experience and now I do not recommend it. On Thursday I went to get a dip powder fill in by Saturday the nails began to break and peel off, they barely lasted unlike the previous set it had done. I called customer service And they told me to come back before a week and they’d do it for free, I came back before the week and they told me they would repair it but that they had to make me a Full Set because they didnt know what color they had put me and that they were just going to discount $ 10 and would have to pay again. I definitely wont come back since his work is very bad and expensive for it to last two days. I thought they would be understanding but clearly not.

I just moved back to the area from Charlotte. So looking for a new salon was definitely difficult.7.3.20: I called ahead and they made an appointment for me for 2 hours later. That was great. Emma did an amazing job on my Deluxe pedicure. Milon perfected my signature white SNS with glitter on top. The girl who did my eyebrows worked at the front and she did a great job too. BUT I had an issue with how she handled my tipping situation. If I ask who am I to tip and you tell me the different people, that’s fine. BUT do NOT EVER take more than what you know is fair. I handed her $15 to split appropriately, meaning by percentage of cost of services per technician. She took $5 for herself and eyebrows only costed $10. This left the other technicians $5 each when they were entitled to more of what I left behind. I only handed her that to see what she would do. When I went to hand my actual technician more money because of what I saw, the girl on my brows said “I already tipped her” as if I wasn’t supposed to give more. I’m very observant, and as someone who used to work in a tipping profession, I was NOT pleased to see this behavior. Do what you know is fair.Otherwise, a little pricier than what I’m used to but I was HIGHLY satisfied with my services. I’ll be back but please be mindful of the tipping system. Some of us actually know how to. Next time, I’ll put my cash in their hands myself. To make sure.

Had my nails and toes done for my wedding recently and I was really pressed for time they were able to get me in quickly and my nails were beautiful. The service here is amazing and I will never go anywhere else!

My niece and I enjoyed our relaxing manicures. The friendly staff has exceptional customer service. The decor is modern and chic with clean lines. We’ll be back.

Do not go to Ryan. All he does is rush your nails and ignore what you want. I’ve never said stiletto and had them cut into coffin. Rushed service, rudest sloppiest nail tech I’ve ever had. I won’t ever be back.

The staff was kind and the spa was clean and welcoming. I got a mani and pedi with gel and I am a little disappointed with the lack of detail when doing my nails. They did not do a good job with the overcoat and two days later the gel is peeling a little.Update: I decided to give this place two more chances. And I am still disappointed. Just got a pedicure and she did two sloppy coats and applied the over coat and started cleaning up. I wasn’t asked if I liked them and I most certainly would have asked for a third coat if she didn’t just walk away. I can see my nail through the paint and it looks like it’ll start to come off within a matter of days. That was my last time going. They won’t get my business anymore.

Large clean space, maybe good if you want to book a party. Relies on plastic liners and other disposable tools rather than sterilizing and sanitizing for re-use. Up charge if you want nails buffed instead of polished. I came away disenchanted.

The reason for 3 stars is because I have been going to Noire for 7 mths now, minus Covid shutdown. I loved it, the nail techs are nice and do a great job until June I went in for my SNS and I got them done and within 2 days they were chipping and coming off.. I was baffled by it because I get SNS because it always lasts 3-4 wks. Well I called and went back and she re done my nails again. Well.. Here we are 2 weeks in and they are chipping and breaking off again. And theyre prices went higher, but quality got way lower. Dont know if I will return or not.

I absolutely love my nails, I had originally gone to the location In wake forest and honestly their service was awful compared to this location. Lucy assisted me at this Chapel HIll location and she was very attentive and helpful. I explained how I was not happy with my original set so I came in to get them fixed and went ahead and did a fill in with her, she adjusted my shape and figured out exactly the color I wanted. I showed her a picture from Pinterest and she worked with me to find just the right color, she was super friendly and very nice. I would definitely recommend this location to all my friends and family, honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon in a long time. I will definitely be coming back for my future nails with Lucy.

Went with my friend for a deluxe pedicure and gel mani. Somehow the technicians table outside I believe third row finished before me, while my friend still painting. She was rushing throughout my gel manicure, polish did not even completely painted on almost all the nails. While, my friends nails look great!

I have been here twice now. The first time I got a shaped full set. And it was stunning. The second time I got a full in just as amazing. Two different people but they both were equally as nice.

Nice salon. T did my nails and I was okay with them. The sides were messy and my toes polish looked rushed. I wasnt going to leave a review but I got them done today at 2pm. They are now chipped ! Only after a few hours. Now I have to go somewhere and just get them redone

Lost a star rating for the attitude and skill of the third tech(we didnt catch her name)when she couldnt get the correct nail design. Asked her to try to fix one finger and she gave a large sigh and when we asked her to fix it she got upset that we were asking, and still didnt get it right. Another girl in the group got the exact same design from another tech (Katie) and was very pleased.I loved my tech(Lucy), I got a two toned French for $37 and she self corrected messy lines without me having to ask.We will return, if requesting specific techs at appointment is allowed.

I am not a review type of person but it is not worth of a dime for the service I received today with the staff/technician (Haley, not sure if I spell her name correctly) I had was very unexperienced.-Did not cut my cuticle clean enough both hands and feet.-Gel polish on my fingers afterwards some are darker and lighter than other fingers. Also within 24 hours, one of my finger chipped.-Massage was unprofessional for an upscale pedi.-I asked her for a specific shape for my nails and she did not file what I was asking for or the shape is uneven.I will try to give this business another chance just not with the staff I had.

I was not satisfied my gel mani and pedi with Hailey. I am pretty sure she does not speak English and does not understand what Im asking for. My gel nails chipped off within 4 days. Pedicure massage part wasnt good or I hope it would be. One good thing is shes nice.

I got the gel full set, as well as a gel pedicure and it looks amazing! The staff is so friendly and they really take their time to ensure that everything looks good.
