This is the first pedi in over a year so much needed to be done. However, I am not sure this is very professional looking. I need to invest the time to learn to do it myself as I do believe I can do a better job. The salon was not busy when I came in today.

I have been going here since 2017! They do such a great job and the staff is super friendly. I, personally, get my nails done by one of the owners (Jason) and we’ve been experimenting with some nail art as of late. He listens to my ideas and makes them come to life!!! Clean place, which I appreciate (even prior to COVID). The prices are fair too.

10/10 highly recommended. Only place we go to in this cityI love this place!!! My family and I have been customers for several years. Everyone is always so friendly and informative of services. They may ask us if we want to “upgrade” any service but not in a pushy way; we dont feel pressured into the up charge and we love that. I finally went in for a pedicure with my daughter we got the basic one with a foot scrub and gel color we are in love with how pretty our toes look. Great atmosphere!! Relaxed, soothing and all very clean/disinfected. I have gotten several different services done like gel nails, pedicure, eyebrow/face wax, acrylic nails ect and all have been wonderful experiences.

I would have given zero stars if possible. I have been here several times and was convinced the last time I came to get dip gel powder and when I came to get a fill in I was informed that a fill in couldnt be done on gel dip powder And would have to have it removed and pay for another full set. I asked why I wasnt told this when I got them done and the man laughed, very unprofessional. Then after getting them removed there was still powder and tips still on my nails after I told them that it wasnt my nail but a tip. I will never go back here they talk you into getting what they say is better to get more money and then laugh when you come back confused. I have recommended this place to several people who also were regulars and this is how they treat you.

My first time here, and it’s my new favorite. David gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had! I hadn’t had one in more than a year due to the pandemic, and he patiently repaired the neglect. He gave the best foot and leg massage ever, and the rose Deluxe pedi was dreamy. Crystal adeptly did my gel French manicure at the same time. She was so skillful and a perfectionist at getting the polish just right. Natural Nails is super clean, pleasant and professional. Five stars!

I have been going there for 8 years. They have a woman there now who did my pedicure once but is rough and won’t listen to what you want. I had an appointment this. morning with one of the men I like. She said he left 8 months ago but in fact he did my pedicure in July. They scheduled me for the appointment yesterday but today say no such person works there. I will not return. They are unprofessional and the lady I dealt with is rude.

My cuticles were painted red along with my nails. The skin on either side of my nails near the tip of my toe still looks dry and chapped. Not pleased and wont be going back. I wish I had looked more closely before I tipped her. And the rough skin on the bottom of my feet? Still there.

My entire experience from start to bottom was top notch. Clean facility, equipped with everything you need for whatever service you need. You wont find any watered down polishes there. It was my first visit, but definitely wont be my last. I have referred them to several ppl the same day of my visit! Great job you guys!

I’ve been going to natural nails with my friend for about two years. It’s a very friendly and warm place. My my pedicure was amazing and the young lady doing it was very thorough and Took an extra effort to smooth out some areas of my nails. They look great and I left feeling very relaxed. I look forward to my next time there!

I wanted to share the great job Natural Nails in Chapel Hill North is doing under our current Covid conditions. I went to get a mani/pedi today and was happy to find the staff going above and beyond to keep customers safe. All employees are wearing masks (even when not working with clients) and they are ensuring customers do, too. They are diligently cleaning all chairs and tables between clients and have put plastic barriers up between employees and clients (zoom in on the picture if you cant see them). They are also ensuring there is ample space between stations. Ive been going here for five years and have always received excellent service. Theyre a small, locally owned business and they could use support to stay open. If youre considering having your nails done, I cant recommend Natural Nails enough. The salon worked me last minute which I appreciated. I feel like there are many good safety measures in place which is important to me. My Manicure was very thorough and looks very nice. The people were very kind Despite me leaving right when they closed. The place itself is very pretty and is designed nicely. I will go back.

I’ve been going to this nail salon regularly for over two years now and it’s my go to place. I will travel out of my way to come here. They do an amazing job, they have fair prices, and the workers are so friendly. I highly recommend. I noticed there are several low reviews. I can’t speak to their experience but I’ve had nothing but a positive experience from Natural Nails. In particular, I recommend Lee (Taco Bell) and David. Both are fabulous.

I visited natural nails for the first time on Wednesday for a full set of acrylic nails. The technician (David) got me right in a chair and started my nails. He had already started rushing. I had to choose 4 different colors because the colors I wanted were either out or they could not find it. The entire service was rushed and because he was rushing, my nails look like platypus feet. The nails are not paired all the way and it clumped on the ends where he applied to much polish in one spot. I am NOT happy after paying $50 for a service that was rushed and lacked quality. I do not recommend anyone going here and I will not be returning. It suck’s because it was my first time and I’d hoped that I had found somewhere to go regularly.

This was my first visit to Natural Nails and I was attended to by Ronda and David. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They were so kind and professional. I accidentally messed up my own nails when I was moving around and they fixed me up promptly and were so nice about it. I will definitely be coming here as my regular spot. They treated me so warmly, like I was a “regular”, even as a newbie. Highly recommend.

Went in for a polish change. My technician did not know how to remove gel polish 😳. She made my big toe bleed and she needed assistance from the owner and another technician. It was my first time there and last time. It was convenient because my job was near by but this experience was absolutely the worst! I will never be back. The polish change took 1 hr!

This place is great! The staff is friendly and professional. Immaculate and beautiful results. I had an appointment for a standard pedicure and was totally done in an hour. I felt massaged and glad I gave them a try. Very pleased. Wide very wide selection of colors.

When I initially went to Natural Nails, I was annoyed about their pressure for me to get gel nails. But after having terrible acrylics (with acrylic paint), I decided to switch to gel and Im so glad I did (and glad that Natural Nails kept pushing me to!)Natural Nails has a friendly staff, GREAT selection of polished, & its absolutely beautiful inside. Ever since Ive switched over to gel, my nails have looked impeccable and have LASTED! I wont go anywhere else in Chapel Hill!Only thing to be aware of - wait times can be long. Definitely book an appointment if you can but the wait is also definitely worth it!

One of the best manicures I’ve ever had. I did have to wait a little bit and David took his time making sure my nails looked perfect, but I’m very pleased with the result! The price was also very reasonable! If you’re not in a rush, I definitely recommend this place!

Great nail salon! It’s not the fanciest place around (although they’re doing some updating and renovating now), but the service is always fantastic. I’ve been going for about a year and have always been happy with my results. I’ve gotten acrylic nails twice, a ton of pedicures, and SNS nails done every 2-3 weeks in the past year. They don’t seem to “drill” nails nearly as much as other places, which is a huge plus for me as my nails are already naturally thin. If you’re in need a reliable nail place where you’ll see the same faces every week, definitely give them a visit.

I came here for a manicure and a pedicure. My nails are uneven in length and the shape of my nails are not consistent. A few of my nails are round, some are oval, and one has a slope to it. The person doing my manicure reached into a box with three obviously used buffers and used one on me, then put it back into the box. The cuticle nippers were only in a plastic sheath. He checked to make sure there wasn’t any leftover skin from the last time they were used before he starting doing my cuticles.I was given half of a manicure before I was whisked off to a pedicure chair. The pedicure was a bit better than my experience with the manicure and it was uneventful. The establishment advertises that they use an autoclave to sterilize their tools but there is no evidence of this.

This is the only place I go. Never go if you dont have the time for them to do it correctly, meaning dont be a jerk and make them rush. They do beautiful work and they are all so kind.

I have been going there for years without any problems whatsoever. They all do a great job. Sometimes they get very busy, so patience can be necessary or to learn to go at the times when they are not as busy. Mary is a little dynamo and is one of the greatest nail technicians of all time! Fast and excellent!!!!

Wow! This is the sweetest nail salon in the whole world ^_^ Henry was so kind and friendly to me. He was very gentle and careful with my skin since I just finished chemo. He gave me wonderful gel nails with 3 coats to keep them from breaking. I will recommend this nail salon above any other I have been to in the triangle.

They welcomed me in right away for a pedicure. Lee Taco Bell is amazing. He was really professional as we choose which pedi I wanted. He did an amazing job on my over worked feet! Today was my second time visiting Natural Nail in Chapel Hill. The first time was with a group of 3 of us for a friends birthday. We had pedicures. They did great!Today I went in and saw sweet Mary. I had a full set of liquid gel nails. Ive been getting my nails done for well over 20+ years and I can honestly say I am amazed at the job Mary did on my nails. They look so natural. Ill for sure be back!!

This is my favorite salon in Chapel Hill. They can always get me in quickly even without an appointment. I just got an acrylic manicure from David and he did an exeptional job! It was one of the best Ive ever gotten. He really took his time to make sure my nails were the length and shape I wanted. I was extremely pleased and will be back!

Just left, I absolutely love my pedicure David did for me he will be my go-to! He made sure I was comfortable, offered me a drink, and just made the whole experience great. I will be returning!

I am thrilled with the consistently excellent results of an organic gel manicure and the superior job Mary performs. She is one of the very best manicurists in the Chapel Hill area. I have never had an issue with a nail lifting or breaking and my cuticles are never damaged from rough filing. The salon is always clean and well cared for. I will not go anywhere else. I find the staff to be friendly and they remember your name. Rhonda also gives a great pedicure. You can now make appointments or walk in. I have found that morning appointments Wed-thru Sat work best for me.

I went here today and got my acrylic nails taken off. They were so sweet and gave me tips on how I should treat my nails. Mary is my favorite person there! She is so nice and patient. They really care about the customers.

I have being getting my nails done here for almost 10 years and they treat everyone like family. In these hard times they have still made time for not only appointments but even walk-ins. While keeping social distance and the safety of everyone at the top of their priority.

I came in here a couple of times and thought they did an okay job but after discovering somewhere wayyyyy better in Durham, I could never go back here. They’re nice and everything but their “coffin” shape is not coffin shape at all. I paid $5 extra dollars for them to shape them and they still looked square. Nails don’t last as long like they do at the new place I go to now. Also, one of the women was always in a hurry and did things sloppy and poor paint job. Save yourself some money and drive a little further (Nails By Kelsy is amazing)

I was in Chapel Hill with some time to kill and my nails definitely needed some work. I picked Natural Nails because they had over 4 stars. A decision I would soon regret!I received the worst set of gel nails I have ever gotten. The experience was not pleasant. I felt as if I was inconveniencing the guy. He smoked an e-cigarrete during breaks while my nails were drying.The total service cost well above what I am use to paying which would be fine if they looked good. I noticed as soon as I got in my car that one of my thumbs was crooked. So much so that there would be no way to remedy it. Then just a few hours later I realized that all of my nails were peeling up. Not the polished by the actual gel nails were peeling away from my real nails. I had to put super glue between the two so they would peel completely off.So long story short I am 60bucks in the hole for a set that will have to be replaced soon.Steer clear of this place. I promise I will never go back!

Normally go here all the time but today I had a terrible experience. The man doing my nails kept trying to push me to get gel polish & gel powder. Also he was very rough.. he cut my cuticle with the drill, saw me jump in pain and didn’t ease up. Once it came time to checkout, they told me a price I’d never paid before. I told him he should make customers aware of a price increase & he argued with me and told me I was wrong.. poor service and just flat out RUDE.

I am very picky about my nails and service I get. I moved here a year ago and struggled to find a home for my nails! I’ve been coming here for months now and I LOVE it! I get my nails repaired weekly by Rhonda and I’m always greated by name when I call or walk in the door. Everyone here is nice and knows what they are doing! Mary and Rhonda make me come back! Once you try this place you won’t go anywhere else! The people leaving bad reviews are the ones who are rude to the technicians.. they won’t play with rude people (I wouldn’t either) if you come in with a good attitude and kindness you’ll receive the same! Love this place!

I have often wondered if a few of their employees are licensed manicurists. I had an employee work on me once that appeared to be 12-14 years old (during the summer), was in full braces, and was being sort of taught by the other people. Skills clearly inferior to licensed manicurists. Then you have to pay for the regular rate. If you are going to have someone in training, then at least cut the customer a better deal.

Ive heard several not very nice comments on this salon before comeing. But I still came here once because its near my house and I didnt have much time to go to my favorite nail salon. But I was really surprised by the way they welcomed customers. Their manicure and pedicure services were nice, I couldnt have any complain about that, they made my nails look unique and wonderful.Its good to discover another favorite nail salon in this area.

Lovely salon and friendly staff but my friend made an appointment for us at 5:30, I did not get started until 5:50 and she would not have been able to get started until 6:15 but she had to leave by then! The lady was apologetic but I could tell she was rushing and did my manicure really fast and dug too deep into my cuticles that I bled a few times. I dont really understand the point of making an appointment if you are not really put first when others come in. I really wanted to have a positive experience after reading the reviews but I will not be back.

Went to this place last weekend with friends and I really love it. We were served with the best products and materials, staffs are professional too, and friendly. Finally I found a really good nail near house. So happy for that.

This was quite simply the most painful pedicure I have ever experienced! This was my second time at the salon. Their basic pedicure is basic indeed but the cuticle trimming was quite painful and then the tech used her nail to correct polish mistakes causing even more pain! I could go on but suffice to say, I will not be returning to this business in the future.

Came in for a full set and they tried to charge me $5 for the shape (coffin), which wasn’t stated when I asked how much it would be TOTAL before the service started .. i told them I wasn’t paying $5 for something I wasn’t made aware of and they were understanding .. overall a good salon they just need to communicate better.

Overworked, and mistakes made. They seem to be using old and used emory boards and buffers. I mean, do new black emory boards and solid pink buffers have a bunch of white nail dust in them? And scratch marks? I am not sure I do NOT want everyone elses junk from their hands on mine.

Worst experience ever. I avoided writing a review the first time because I enjoyed the customer service and feel everyone deserves a second chance. The first time I went to the salon I got my eyebrows done. I am extremely particular about my eyebrows. She did do a very good job. So if eyebrows are important to you I would recommend them. Later that evening I returned and asked for a gel full set. The service provider gave me acrylic. I didnt realize it was acrylic until he had finished a whole hand and instead of placing my hands under the light he turned the mini fan on. So I went ahead with the acrylic. The work did last 8 weeks and I only had 1 chipped nail after 2 months so the quality was well done, but I didnt get what I wanted... I also decided to pay for another guest to have her nails done as I am naturally a generous person.Today I went in and had my eyebrows done again by a different lady who did an excellent job. So again this rating does not refer to the eyebrows just the professionalism and service. Anyhow, today after my eyebrows I got my nails done they were done and I am content with how they turned out, but they are not clean. Today someone with the name tag Sam did my nails. He was very rude. At the end of my service I explained i need to go to work, what do I owe you. Take this card out and swipe my card so I can leave. He proceeded to argue with me. I had to get stern with him. Then he swipes my card and it says declined. He tells me so I show him my account on my phone. The phone shows the money. Someone with common sense would say oh maybe its the machine. I offered for them to write down my information and I can return after work. They said no I said do you want to hold my ID they said no. I said well Ive shown you the money. Ive offered you solutions. I dont have cash. I have to go to work and your machine is broken so what do you want me to do. They said just come back. I said okay I get off at 6 I will be back. I walked out. 10 seconds later they come running out saying we called the police. Accusing me of stealing and saying Im trying to leave without paying. I stepped out of the car and almost acted out of character, then the lady said no its okay. When are you coming back? I said I just told you I get off at 6 that is when I will be back. She said ok. by this time Im infuriated and crying, because they are accusing me of something I did not do. I was already late for work so I just went straight to the bank. I told them I needed to withdraw she gave me the money and then asked how my day was I told her what had happened she said I can test the card for you. She did and said the card is fine. Im sorry you had to go through that. I went back and paid them and told them they needed to get their machine fixed. ... BTW: I am a dark skinned- Jamaican who is also a young professional. I understand their concern, but there is a way to go about things and accusing people when you should be questioning yourself is not the way to go about it. I will be returning this evening as I am at work now and see that SAM did not do as good a job as he thought he did and he missed a step. If you are big on customer service and value quality I would not go to natural nails, unless its just for eyebrows. Thank you for reading this.Shari

Friday night 5:00 no appointment~ I only waited 30 minutes for fill in- seems great, asked for gel fill in color French tip with design on 2, they say ok.. things go well with fill in, color and cut look great, then at last minute when she is putting on top coat she says they dont have time to put on a design on 2 fingers Sorry. Uhm really, you had 2 people waiting after me & you knew up front what I wanted & agreed to do it, then said sorry oh well. No discount no nothing. This is poor customer service..... you should give what I asked for and what you agreed to do, if not try to make it right, not just sorry, next.

Just okay. My feet were still a little rough on the bottom and my polish was a bit messy, but you can get both nails and toes done at the same time so thats a plus!

I came here on Saturday and had the worst experience ever at a nail salon. They took 2 1/2 hours. The guy didnt even want to take the time to take my acrylics off correctly and just wanted to tear them off which was extremely painful. He then cut the skin around my nail multiple times in different places. Then he kept saying how he had never done sns nails before. They were horribly done, uneven and he didnt even put the color I wanted on there. Worst experience ever.

Usually have a good experience but today the guy was rushing and a bit rude. He cut my cuticles too short and my finger tips are burning...I put some antibiotic cream on my hands hoping to stop any infection I might have. I dont think Ill go back. I paid way to much money to have the issues Im having right now.

Some staff were very friendly some were not. Its a little tight and crowded inside. Im rating a 2 because 4 of my nails broke 2 days after leaving the salon. Waste of time of money!!! Never will go there again!!

Not impressed. Didnt massage feet during pedicure ...had to pay more for that. Plus didnt do a proper manicure where you wash your hands mid mani...had to specially ask for them to clean under nail beds.
