My dental issues have been successfully resolved. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but at least I can expect the best care available in Cedar Rapids.

CR Smile Center has always been amazing when I’ve visited myself. Today, my daughter had her first ever visit, a couple of years too late, but had a clean bill of dental health. All of the staff, especially the tech that did her entire cleaning session, treated her with all of the care and acceptance that I could’ve ever hoped for! I had all the faith in the world in them, but was still nervous as a mama taking her baby for the first time, but they helped make both of us so comfortable and my daughter especially confident in what was happening.

Dr. Yossi repaired a cracked tooth with a crown. I love how he explains what hes doing as he does it. And the rest of the staff are similarly competent, cheerful, and forthcoming. These guys are now my regular dentists for 6-month checkups.

Kristy has got to be one of the best dental hygienists I’ve ever had! She’s both efficient and gentle oh yeah and thorough. Also, she was doing all of this while she was in pain as she’d been bitten by something on her ankle or foot!

For over 50 years weve gone to the Smile Center and been very pleased. Last Jan, 2021 I had to cancel an appointment due to family illness. They scheduled me for Apr 7, but would called me if they had one. They never called. Cant make Apr 7 due to medical issues. New schedule - August. Promised to call if theres a cancel. This is not customer service!!!

We visited Cedar Rapids Smile Center today. Our hygienist, Ellen, did a great job cleaning my 4 year old daughters teeth and was very patient with her while my teeth were getting cleaned. I havent had the best luck with dentists, but we love Smile Center. Our family would 100% recommend Smile Center if you are looking for a dentist!!

Amazing 2nd visit today. Im impressed at how well they can make you feel comfortable. I had a hard job on a tooth today and Dr Yassi was able to fix it. Love he cares to make sure I keep my smile. The tooth was on the side but u would be able to tell if I lost it. I have a very small mouth and we got through it. Erica is pretty awesome as well. I will continue to visit as I can tell no matter what they care about my dental needs. Best Dentist I have visited in a very long time.

I’ve been at this office since I was a child (I’m nearly 50). It’s changed hands and moved but still the BEST service in Cedar Rapids!!!!

I find the Smile Center to be more an aggregate of personalities unified in providing the dental patient a nurturing environment without being sappy. The attention to detail and time spent in discussion wrt dental and general health is simply outstanding . Of course I like chatting with Dr. Yossi it is a fun thing for me.

As most people do... I really disliked going to the dentist. It was always uncomfortable for several reasons. Of course, once you have a bad experience you never ever want to go back. However, couple of years ago I gave these guys a try and they are all fantastic. Dr Watson is great - always happy to see you, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. She never tries to speak above you using professional words that make no sense to us. Shes always ready to answer any and all questions and genuinely cares about you when she asks how are you doing?.Jillian is my favorite hygienist - I will only book with her because shes only been great. Im sure they are all wonderful but, my first experience with Jillian was excellent. Shes friendly, personable, and just a pleasure to be around. Its awkward sitting with your mouth wide open having a stranger reach inside but she makes it go by quickly and painlessly.Now, despite all the changes with covid, they still make a point to make everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I wish I could give zero stars. Rude unhelpful money grubbing I guess I could go on and on. Refused to call my insurance to see if xrays where covered wanted me to pay outta pocket and deal with the insurance (I get home contact insurance sure enough I was covered). Plus they already had older xrays that couldve been used for a referral to an oral surgeon. Since I refused to pay out of pocket I was denied seeing the dentist! I was escorted to the door as of I was being thrown out! How dare I ask then to double check with insurance before busting out my wallet!So with all that said another sleepless night of pain for me.

Glad I chose this place for me and my family! I have always been very satisfied with the care that I received in the office and have Been treated very well by all that I come in contact with. Good service and professional staff. Customer friendly and great care in patients who need dental care.

Great place. I am new to the CR area and they made it so simple and easy for me when setting up appointments and arriving to the office. Since I am a teacher, they really catered to my schedule and squeezed me in when it worked for me. Highly recommend for all families! Everyone was so great! I had to bring my 1 year old with me to my appointment. Dr Watson sat with her while I was getting X-rays and everyone was great about helping me out with her so I could get my exam done. I know it was difficult but truly appreciated! I have never experienced anything like it!

Its extremely clean. They are doing everything possible to prevent Covid contact to the staff and patients. The hygienists are efficient and as they clean your teeth, measure your gums, etc they explain what they are doing, what you are doing good and bad, and make suggestions to help you improve your brushing habits.Dr Yossi is great. He takes his time checking each tooth. If something looks suspicious he has hygienists look at past xrays to see if it something new or a spot that has been there for awhile.Every staff member truly cares about your comfort and well bring while you are there.

I am a visitor to Cedar Rapids. Had a tooth medical emergency last night, called Cedar Rapids Smile Center this morning after googling dentists who provide emergency care. They got me right in and referred me to a root canal specialist who performed the root canal today. By 3pm, I was feeling great. Thank you a million times for your experience and expertise. I will sleep soundly tonight because of your willingness to let me come right over.

I thoroughly enjoy going to this dentist, although I have never disliked going to the dentist. This is a great place to take kids or individuals who are uncomfortable with going to the dentist. They have comfortable chairs, TVs, and super friendly staff. Dr. Watson is very sociable and a great dentist. They also offer lifetime whitening at a reasonable price! I would highly recommend the smile center if you are looking for a new dentist in town.

Just started going to the CR Smile Center in the last year and I feel so welcomed. My first visit they gave me a tour and a swag bag. They also got to know my dental hygiene care by asking good questions. They always make sure Im comfortable and that I understand how they are caring for me. Even with COVID, they made sure to reschedule my visit promptly after reopening.

I’ve been going to Dr Yossi for decades since he was on 1st Ave and 19th St SE before the Smile Center. His “bedside manner “ has always been wonderful. He does a thorough exam, not just of the teeth, but also checking for any signs of mouth or neck tumors. When I first went to him, that was the first dentist I ever saw do that. Now that my dad got diagnosed with cancer of the parotid (salivary) gland, I have an extra appreciation for these exams. (Just to note, his particular tumor was not one that the doctor could’ve discovered. The eye doctor did after his eye began drooping by paralysis.)His hygienists and desk workers are friendly and helpful. Before CoVd, they had coffee for those waiting and a little “play area” for the tots. During CoVd, they take safety precautions, such as prescreening at the entrance, goggles for the patient, and everyone wears masks.I would never think of going to anyone else.

It was a nice experience. I only waited a few minutes to be taken in. The doctor then came in shortly to examine my teeth, then the teeth were cleaned. I was in and out in about 45 minutes.

This was by far my worst experience yet with this practice. I came in for a routine cleaning and was put with a new hygienist. During the cleaning she chipped one of my teeth and played it off like it already happened prior to me coming in. I now have to wait over two weeks to have it fixed.

My wife and I are from the area, but have been living in Hawaii for the last 5 years. We came back for a wedding and stayed longer to assist with the Derecho cleanup. In the midst of that, a cracked tooth of mine started giving me some debilitating pain. The smile center was one of the only practices that could fit me in. What started as me going there out of necessity, due to my dentist being closed, turned into an experience that has convinced me to make The Smile Center my only dentist.They were able to get me in quickly, and the hygienist that I had was super nice, as were the front desk people. Despite having other dental issues, I never felt guilty or shamed like I have in other offices.The office was able to get me into another wonderful practice for a root canal (Corridor Endodontics with Dr. Zachary Goettsche), and then also was able to expedite a crown due to my trip. Dr. Henrich took more care in making sure the crown fit perfectly than any other doctor Ive had with Crowns/fillings. Ive never liked the dentist, but Ive also never felt so confident leaving the dentist that the service I got was worth it, and wont give me further issues. And that peace of mind is what will continually bring me back to the Cedar Rapids Smile Center. 🤙

Visit for routine, every 6 month checkup and cleaning. Friendly front desk person. Called back right at or a bit before my scheduled appointment time. Ellen (hygienist) very friendly and good. Dr. Watson was pleasant and gave me opportunity to ask any questions re: my dental health. Great visit overall. Have been a patient at this practice for over 25 years (patient of Dr. Willer who retired some years ago). Would recommend this practice highly to anyone looking for a dentist.

I absolutely love this dentist. Ive always had a fear of going to the dentist, because Ive had a few bad ones. But the dentist at the smile center are just beyond amazing. They really care and you can definitely tell. They do their best to put you at ease and they are so kind and friendly that even though I now live an hour away, I still make the trip to Cedar Rapids to go to the smile center.

I recently had a problem with a tooth that had been capped, so I called CR Smile center where I have been going to since the mid 1980s. They got me in within two days and got me set up with the next step in the process. I have never had any complaints about the treatment I have received and all of the staff are always friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing any dental care!

I had some anxiety about going back to the dentist, after not going for a significant amount of time (that I’m not going to post here!) Regardless I was warmly welcomed and surprisingly had maintained healthy teeth! My dental hygienist, Ellen, has consistently made me comfortable and I have not missed a 6 month check up in the year and a half afterward. Even when I go in knowing my teeth are going say, “HASN’T BEEN FLOSSING!” Ellen doesn’t shame me and encourages me to just keep at it. She even remembers things that I like, and where I work, asks what I want on the TV, so I always feel like I’m in a safe place where I can open up wide and let her do her thing. Ellen is amazing. My dentist is great too. Very professional. And I haven’t been pressured into any unnecessary services. That’s what’s up. 👍🏼👍🏼

The price was affordable compared to other dentist Ive visited. I didnt have insurance, so I paid out of pocket. This was my first time there, and I would recommend them.
