I will say immediately after reading the reviews, I thought that I would not go to this establishment because some of the reviews were not too positive. However my experience was much different. My Nail Tech was Cindy and she was extremely polite, professional and did a great job with my nails. Attention to detail and gentle. Many reviews for her were positive thats why I asked for her upon entry. I also had a chance to have a lengthy conversation with the manager/Owner Keith and he was nice as well. Definitely will go back! Good luck! 🌟

I arrived for a simple manicure at 1:32p.m., I brought in two additional people with me that decided to get just pedicures. I was skipped several times and given the excuse there were no employees available to perform the work, although there are new people coming in that are being helped. An hour and a half later and I still have not been assisted. I have never experienced the lack of professionalism and blatantly being skipped at a place of business a day in my life. Attached is a photo of the person that provided me with nothing but excuses.

Went for full set, 1 fills, 1 colot change and 2 pedicures. Was told they cant do color change without fill, pedicures we half done and then told had nobody there to do he nails after pedicures done.

This is my favorite nail place in the whole world Ive always had Paul do my nails Ive been coming here for years and no one does them better. They are super friendly and remember your name, and chat with you, building great customer relationships. And they took so many good precautions when the pandemic came

Terrible service. The owner is very rude and pushy. I went in for a manicure and only wanted regular polish. It was fine at first and all of a sudden he comes and says we cant do regular polish because WHEN you mess it up we dont have time to fix. I said who said I will mess it up. What happens when I leave is on me. I asked when did that change come about because I been 4 times previously and had regular polish. He said since covid. Hello this has been since covid I have been and had regular polish. Polishing your nails with regular polish or gel polish does not make a difference. Regular just takes long to dry. The nail tech doing my nails did not understand one bit and the whole time she kept apologizing. She was really sweet. The owner needs to hone his customer service skills because the way he was rushing around, being pushy, rude and in everyone business was terrible. Let your customers interact with their nail tech with you coming to be in their business. 🤬🤬🤬

This place is amazing, i love the service, the people. the manager is so attentive and friendly. the workers give an AMAZING foot massage. the loyalty system is amazing. they are so kind and will, i repeat WILL, give you the nails and pedicure wax and massages you want. even my 3 year old loves them pampering her getting her nails done. they offer drinks and beverages too. they really take spa and their service to a whole other level. ive tried to try new salons but nothing beats the absolute best which is indeed 1st solar in cedar hill

Received a manicure that turned out terrible and the opposite of what i asked for. showed the man a picture of what i wanted and my nails still came out a mess. i do not recommend this nail salon. the man who served me acted as if he didn’t even wanna do my nails to begin with and seemed as though he wanted to be done with me already. his attitude and his work was sloppy and careless. do not give these nail salons any of your money. they’re all money hungry and do not care about you.

Like the other reviews, the staff is rude and inexperience. I have been multiple times to see if there would be better service, but was disappointed. There is only one tech, Cindy that does good work. My nails have to be redone and my eyebrows on another visit by Cindy. I was supposed to get another service done but the manager stated that the previous tech left for the day. Please go somewhere else to get your service done. This is supposed to be a pampering experience and you should get the service you deserve somewhere else.

Vicky is the best! This was my first time visiting this salon and let me tell you that my service was excellent. I was greeted when I entered. I would recommend this place to anyone. Friendly atmosphere clean and most of all packaged sanitized products we’re used

The owner of this establishment is losing A LOT of money simply based on the RUDE staff here..... Just today I saw two people walk out and each time before people have walked out....The people that do come here from my observation have never encountered him (the manager) or have been coming awhile and ignore himI have been to this place several times just to make sure IT WASNT ME OVERREACTING these people especially the manager that greets u at the door HE IS VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS..... HOW DARE U CHARGE ME BUT NOT GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR AND WHEN I KINDLY ASK U TO FIX IT U DOUBLE TEAM ME AND TELL ME WHY U CANT (after u have my money)...... They have become my family!! I NEVER write reviews but... This place is the best salon hands down. The owner and all of his staff have become like family to me and my niece. They are always so accommodating to my needs. I will never go anywhere else! So I hope they never go out of business!

When I first started it was ok. After the third time I asked for Cindy and they said she wasn’t there. So I had to take whoever was available. I didn’t like my nails. The next time I went in and I saw Cindy she totally ignored me. I waited about 30min hoping she would come but again she ignored me. The owner came and said I had to take whoever was available. I wanted a fill but he refused and said I needed a new set. He was so insensitive and practically tore my nails off. My thumb started bleeding and he rushed to get some medicine. He didn’t say sorry or anything. The owner saw what went on and just said thank you for coming and goodbye. I hate that place. It is awful! They are soooo rude. It should be shut down. It doesn’t deserve any stars! I wish I could attach a photo of how he tore the meat from my nail. I’m angry!!!!🤬🤬🤬

Ive been coming to this establishment for a while off and on, the manager in here can be quite rude. He rushes every customer that comes into the salon and his not friendly or personable. There arent a lot of techs in the salon and I wonder why, its always people waiting for a pedicure or to get a full set. Whoever the owner maybe, look into your manager and your salon because I can see this eventually getting more bad reviews. I waited a hour and half for a pedicure and the tech rushed my service, after I sat in soaked my feet in water. Today will be my last day coming here. P.S. TELL YOUR MANAGER TO TREAT EVERYONE FAIRLY...FYI.

I have been coming here for a long time... a lady that used to work here named Lena (I think was here name) was amazing. I came back a week ago and found out she didnt work there anymore. I was going to leave but was convinced to stay. I got both my feet and nails down... needless to say I went back after a week to show them how horrible my nails looked (lifting, acrylic on my skin). And was told by the owner and his wife my nails look great after a week... I will NEVER go back... thats not how you treat a customer that has been bringing you business for way too long

Everytime I go the service is great. Every nail tech does an excellent job. I went another nail shop in cedar hill and the service was poor they were just concerned about money. But at 1st solar they treat you like family.

Needed a new shop. Arrived very early as a walk in. Paul was my tech and he was very gentle taking of my old nails (always so painfull). He listened to what I wanted and said we would take it step by step to get it right. This is my new shop!

The one star is for the awesome tech that won my business in the beginning. I was introduced to this salon maybe 3 months ago. Im a 3rd time customer, the first visit was perfect the nail tech satisfied me well. The 2nd visit was ok a different tech did my nails. Not to my liking or request but I rolled with it. He was kinda pushy. So this last time I asked for the nail tech I started with & it went from there. I guess thats like being ultimately disrespectful to ask for a certain tech. He said she was on a vacation and hed do my nails. I told him I wanted a certain color displayed he insisted I get other colors and when I disagreed he became disrespectful. Telling me I can get out of his chair and wait for someone else. Moral of the story either do what they say or nothing. Id rather get what I want and is paying for.

I went in very last minute last friday, (30 minutes til close) and I had an amazing experience! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed, and I was just that! I will be returning whenever Im in town.

It’s CRAZY how this place even received past 2 stars! I was a 1st time visitor from out of town and if you’re not paying attention, you WILL get GOT! smh I ended up paying $70 just for my fingernails to be color dipped, (which did NOT last past 2 days) & I THOUGHT, I chose the least expensive pedi (which honestly didn’t last 24 hrs.) My total here was “supposed” to be $60, which was STILL too much for those services, but I wasn’t up for the drama. The manager was pushy, nice-nasty & rushing me when I was trying to look at the prices & choose my nail color! I really hate I can’t go back to get my nails FIXED bc I’m back in my hometown and have to take this L. But I definitely would NOT recommend this place & wish I hadn’t stumbled across it.

I have been coming to this shop every 2-3 weeks for the past year and every time I come the manager is rude with a friendly face.... only continued because I liked the pedicurist....I just tried to enter for a broken nail, not only was he standing in the doorway blocking my entry, as soon as I opened it, He said”How may I help you? ( while me and my children are standing outside of the doorway), so I stepped in and said I had a broken nail. He then tells me they are closed and i said the hours of Operation say until 7:30pm, (it was 7pm), he says I know but my staff wants to leave..... I said “Well why did you ask me How you could help me?” He said again, we are closed, Come back tomorrow!” And motioned me out the door... I sat in the parking lot and wrote this to make I did it because these ppl are surviving on our penny and they should not be because their customer service is trash! Stay out of this establishment!

This is the ok only place I have gone to since I moved to Cedar Hill in 2015. I have probably had my nails done by everyone in there and theyre all super nice.

Love this place, my kids, wife, and I enjoy the service and the margaritas. This is one of the many places we go as a family.

Didnt want to give 1 star........Definitely dont recommend going here......My dip nails were lumpy.....my toenails were polished multiple times and she couldnt get the polish on without it being on my skin smh......then put about 5 coats so the polish was running......Manager/owner is very rude and does not listen to the customer.....DONT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR NAILS... ....THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Not the friendliest people in customer service. Went in only to get a pedi for my niece. The tech was not friendly. My jacket was laying on the chair. The owner grabbed it and kind of threw it to me so someone could sit down but the person didnt even sit in the chair where my jacket laid. The owner is pushy every time I go in.

Pedi tech had attitude and couldnt tell me how much Pedi was as I was trying to explain it was my first time here....then manager said dont have manuel and begin to tell me prices and went on bout his way...tech was rough as I told her dont be rough with my feet....definitely wont be back and hope no one else will...#rude people#ugh!!!!#learn ENGLISH!!!

Since I got to Cedar Hill I went with them, before one of the girls would put them on, then I noticed that the Chinese apply them with a brush and that I love my nails last a long time, I always love them, I recommend this place !!
