I LOVE this place. Ive never had a problem until today. I got a FANTASTIC pedicure by Amy! I highly recommend her! I wouldve had Amy do my nails too but was told she doesnt do nails. Anyway, I got horrible ombre nails that are uneven (and sharp) from John.

Omg!! Today was ALL ME DAY, but that Slayder(ombré pink &white coffin nails…and Tracey my pedicure tech!!! )WAS EVERYTHING!!! Slayder recommended the hot rocks milk and honey pedicure…I’m a ALL IN, GO BIG OR GO HOME TYPE WOMAN…WEN I SAY TRACEY THE PEDI TECH HAD ME CALLING HER NAME!! 😆 And the 2 frozen and salted Margaritas just made it one Hell of WORLDS BEST MOM DAY FOR ME!! This is one of my go to spots for pedicures I love the deluxe pedicures. But I feel like I was rushed out this past time I understand clients are waiting but I paid for gel pedicure and manicures for both my daughter with two days the polish gel was falling off on toes and hands. For what I paid for I’m very disappointed. I feel like we should get more time focused on the current client and not being rushed out.

Terrible place. Im tired of these fancy nail places that dont know what theyre doing but will charge for every little thing. I had to go back in less than 24 hrs to get my nails fixed. They are extremely rude as well.

This is the WORST service Ive ever experienced. The nail tech cut my ankle not once, but twice when using the scraper on my feet. I told him after the 1st time but he just was not being careful and rushing so it happened twice. My ankle was initially bleeding so much I had him drain the water and stop the rest of that portion of the service and just polish my toes. He kept wiping my ankle and applying this liquid until it eventually stopped(see photos). At the end he quoted me $25, the full price of the service which was completely unacceptable! I tried to explain to the manager why this was a problem and he offered $5 off and a bandaid. To me, this was insulting being that 1. I have paid hundreds of dollars at their establishment and never caused issues or complained. 2. I didnt receive full service because of the blood, pain, sanitary reasons, and fear of making it worse. I tried to reason and inform him that I thought half would be fair and stood firm on the $5. I then left and waited as he called the police on me. He sent an out of uniform officer to scare me and told me I was going to jail. (I was sitting in my car waiting on uniformed officers). When they came he said we would need to work this out, which was fine. He came outside and not only refused to allow me to speak and talked over me he took the price back up to $25 and had officers put me on some criminal trespassing list ALL BECAUSE THEY MESSED UP and werent being reasonable. This manager was rude, unprofessional, and does not value customers. He believes he is better than us and had ZERO respect for us as paying customers. I am disgusted and everyone deserves to know about my experience.

Mrs. Tracy Nguyen is an EXPERT at what she does!! She did wonderful acrylics in only 30 minutes. If I could post a picture I would. I love this place and my nails so much!

I did not have a good experience at this salon at all. I went in for a basic pedicure and picked a light pink polish. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was a younger lady with glasses. The first thing I noticed is that she was rushing through my pedicure and doing a half job at every step. When it came to polishing my toes, the polish was thin and watered down and she didn’t put enough layers so therefore it gave that “streaky” thin look. To my surprise she pulled out the clear top coat as if the polish looked great, so I told her to wait and apply another coat of pink polish to a couple of the toes before applying the top coat. After walking to my car and being in the sunlight I could clearly see that the job she had done looked rushed and a few of my toes did not have enough coats so that the true color of the polish can be seen. I got out of my car and walked back in and explained to the man at the front that I can see through the polish and that it needs another coat. He proceeds to tell me that the polish is thin because I picked out a “light pink”. The color of a polish has nothing to do with how thin it is. If that was true then all white polishes should be thin! I actually have a very light tan colored polish on my finger nails, which were done at a different nail salon, currently and it is not thin at all. The polish was thin on my toes because she was rushing. So I told him well do you suggest I get a darker pink so that it will be “thicker”? He tells me that I can if I want to, but the polish will get put on top of the light pink that she just put on my toes because they will have to charge me to take the polish off and redo it since I picked the color. At this point I’m irritated that he’s acting like the polish on my toes looked fine so I just told him yes I’ll get a coat of hot pink put on my toes so that I could get out of there. He treated me as if I was being annoying for not being satisfied with a pedicure that was clearly rushed. I sat back in a pedicure chair and waited for the same lady to paint one coat of hot pink polish over the other job which of course she rushed through it again. The good reviews that I have seen for this salon has to be from regulars who know which particular nail techs to go to because I clearly was given the wrong one and cannot relate to the positive reviews at all.

Very unprofessional! They do not care about their customers which are keeping them in business. Don’t be a few minutes late, Heaven forbid there’s bad traffic or an accident, they will cancel all your appointments! Will not even try to work with you. The manager right out said he didn’t care when I said I will not be a returning customer. Will not be returning, I see why there are so many bad reviews, their are too many salons to choose from that no one should ever allow themselves do be treated like this!

I set an appointment for my mom and I and they keep trying to give us some unexperienced young lady who still needs to be trained. After we specifically asked for Don.We let them slide the first time as the new lady had to have someone come and help her for a simple chrome application. We will be taking our business elsewhere. NO... I DONT NEED NAILS. Not from you guys at least. This place has gone downhill since the first time Ive visited. 😔

Charged me $7 to drill gel polish off, not soak off but DRILL off. Did not remove all the polish. Then all I get is a sorry when i bring it to the mans attention. I will Never coming back. I will stick with Lillys. Should have never tried this place. They can refund me my $7 for the horrible job they did removing the gel polish. If I could post the picture I would.

I’ve been going to this nail shop for many years. Lynn is a great owner with such a great sense of humor. The salon provides margaritas and you are getting your nails/toes done. Everyone is so nice. I go to Tracy for my services, she does an amazing job!

I attempted to have a pedicure, the lady made the water scorching hot after telling her three times it was too hot. She walked away, never came back. The manager approaches me to tell me she has a bad attitude and there is not anyone that can help me. Very unprofessional, I do not recommend this place.

They are rude, they dont sanitize there equipment. They are very disrespectful. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I got a call today; they dont want to do my nails anymore because when Tracy would do my nails, she would have blood coming from my skin, and I would tell her that she is hurting me, and she should say sorry didnt mean too. I will be calling the state board as well. If I have to cancel my appointment because something has come up, thats my right to do so.

Service could be much better and main concern is the sterilization of tools. I did not see any indication that tools were sterilized; such as sealed bags and nail filers and buffers are obviously being reused. Also, the environment could be more friendly and welcoming.

For the pedicure the tech was working so fast that she cut 2 of my toes. But that’s what happens when you’re being RUSHED OUT THE CHAIR...... I won’t patronize this shop again.

I’ve been going to U-Need Nails for years now and I must say Moon is the manicure/pedicure tech ever. Han is very good as well. The staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend making an appointment so you don’t have to wait.

I started coming over here in December 2018 after my regular salon would not allow me to put my name and three other new customer names that I was bringing them on the wait list and come back in the hour I was told it would take to get to us. Many employees, chairs, hustle and bustle. On that day they took all four of us immediately . Very friendly and I have been their customer ever since .Ask for Andy.

I was seated to get a pedicure and the technician came over turned the water on, put the blue stuff in the water, turned the water off, and disappeared!FIFTEEN minutes later Im still sitting there waiting for this lady to return from the back! In the meantime, the folks that were seated at the same time as I was were already well into their pedicures😡Enough was enough! I proceeded to dry my feet, put my shoes back on, and walk to the front. I complained to the man at the front and the eye brow tech and all they could offer were dry, nonchalant excuses and NEVER even apologized for their techs behavior! Nor did they go try and see where their tech disappeared to! HIGHLY PISSED at the level of disregard and disrespect of your PAYING AND TIPPING customers! 😡After returning to pick up my friend I was told the very same tech had yet ANOTHER complaint for the SAME exact thing! 🤔😡Needless to say I got a pedicure somewhere else and will NEVER return to spend ANY of my hard earned dollars at this place!!

I walked in at 6:20 signed in and sat behind 3 young ladies! 3 Different employees walked to each lady and asked what she was getting and proceeded to serve them. Ok so I sat 10 more min a gentleman walked in and talked to the male receptionist and sat down. Then an employee walked up to him and asked him what he was getting and then proceeded to serve him. So I politely walked up to the desk at 6:50 and showed them I had signed in and what my service I wanted. He asked when did I walk in I stated about 25-30 min ago. He said well he can only do one I thought man I been sitting here and he been seen me like why not speak up or say something. I WALKED OUT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS WAS A BIRTHDAY GIFT NEVER GOING BACK

No. No. No. No. No. Mary is rude, lacks professionalism and her work is not great. Bad combination. I dont like this salon because of the high volume and rushed jobs. They have a lot of loyal customers (seemingly because they know who can and can not do nails well), but I have yet to have an enjoyable experience at this establishment. The dip color selection was minimal. I shouldnt have to tell my nail tech to stop so I can wash my hands. I tried them for the last time. I will never patron this establishment again.

I have had excellent experiences every time I go to You Need Nails. The employees are very nice and treat me with respect. The prices are the best in town and the pedicures are the best Ive ever had. I am in awe when reading some of the posts and the negativity has to come from those that just cant be pleased no matter what. I will continue to give my business to U Need Nails since all of my experiences have been more than pleasant.

Before I would give this a 5 star rating but now I don’t because it felt like they were rushing. I specifically asked for coffin nails and the lady did square instead, now you can say my nails were short but when I went to another nail salon they were able to do short coffin. I am never coming back.

I visited this salon hoping to get a manicure done for my niece and I was very displeased with the customer service. They didnt give her time to pick a color and said Sorry were in a rush, we just have somewhere to be. I understand that we visited near the closing time, but if they didnt have time to give quality service, the doors should not have been opened. Definitely wont be going back!

First of all while walking to my chair I said I do not want the grater yea yea okay then he gets to the bottom of my feet and pulls out grater I said no I dont want the grater. So he pumice my heal barely and thats it. He doesnt smooth my ridges just quick file I said be sure you smooth my nails. Nothing I have a broke nail and he barely files it. I said hey that nail is broke when I stubbed toe. Yea yea still I have to say look the toe nail will be short but it needs to be cut. Then he doesnt use the drill. I like the drill to smoo the ridges on my nails. Still nothing. Should have gone to okay cliff where its only $15 dollars but he does a damp better job bur I needed them done tonight. I wont be going back. And theres red around my toe nail where he didnt clean it all off...so pissed

There’s only one lady there that can actually do nails and everyone else just experimenting while you pay your money! Never again! I have been going to this salon since Lynn opened her business. She is very personable and business has grown. I am disappointed by such negative and bad reviews, I dont care where you go theres always some issues when they are busy but she tries very hard to get you seated and has a tech with you ASAP. Overpriced??Really?? They are not expensive, competitive but not expensive.Lots of products and everything you need for your beauty needs in a one stop shop and a glass of wine to chill with.

This is in response to the review of Theresa Brown:There is a video that shows the contrary to what Ms Brown alleges. The video and truth speaks for itself.Lynn (the owner/stylist) was asked to do any eyebrow wax on a young girl by her mother. During the waxing, the young girl is flinching every time a hair is tweezed. Lynn tries to tell the mom that maybe the daughter is not ready to get waxing because she jumping too much. Lynn also said that she was not comfortable doing the service because she did not want to accidentally poke the girl if she continues flinching. The mom responds Just do it, dont talk. Which is basically saying shut up. So Lynn finishes the service.So when the service is done, the mother wants her other two children to get waxing. Lynn says she will not do the services because they are even younger than the first client and she does not feel comfortable. The mother responds saying What? You dont want my money? Lynn says thank you for your business but I am just being honest if I tell you I do not feel comfortable doing waxing on your young children. The mother then proceeds to tell Lynn that she is rude, etc. Lynn tells the mother that she does not want to argue, but please just pay the $10 for the first eyebrow wax service and to leave the salon. The mother says she wont pay, yelling at Lynn with a pointed finger and proceeds to leave which is shown on the video while still screaming at everyone in the salon. Lynn follows them to say that if they dont pay, she will call the police. The older woman (presuming it is the grandmother) gets into Lynns face and starts screaming at her. Lynn tries to go to block the front door at which point the older lady shoves Lynn backwards into the client chair where a young boy is sitting. Lynn holds us a book in front of her face because she fears that the lady will assault her further.ALL OF THIS CAN BE SEEN IN THE VIDEO.And now these people have gone onto social media to spread lies that Lynn assaulted them and said racist things. Please, if anything, I can say that Lynn is brutally honest, speaks with a broken accent and a harsh tone that some people can misconstrue as rude but racist she is not. The salon has been around since 1996, having served over thousands of clients. No business can ever make everyone 100% happy, but it seems only the really rude ones are the ones that like to post lies on Google, Yelp, etc.As a loyal patron to this business, I have seen the drama that some really bad customers bring into the salon. I personally would tell Lynn to find these people and sue them for ASSAULT and DEFAMATION. And oh, I backed up the owner not because I am some scared sheep, but because she was telling the TRUTH.

Ive been a customer for about 5 years. I make appointments with the same tech, Tyrone. Hes excellent & Ive never had any complaints regarding my nails. He always meets me at his station with my frozen margarita w/salt. In and out every time. I JUST LOVE HIM.

When visiting a nail spa the basic expectation is a pleasant experience in addition to great customer service. Upon entry there was indirect acknowledgement (one person looking down & another eating) and more importantly it was as though my arrival interrupted their conversation. There was a young lady who actually did a great job on my nails but had the absolute worst attitude ever. If I asked a question or made a recommendation as to how I prefer to have my nails done her reaction was a huge sigh & then she talked in her native language with a tone that spoke in volumes (I didnt have to understand a word she was saying to know she was irritated). I went back again, figured maybe it was just a bad day (we all have them). But nope, it was just as bad but this time, I had to wait for a tech & I did have an appointment. After 15 minutes I just left. Why bother. They apparently feel confident enough to maintain the unprofessional demeanor and I simply cant invest my time nor money. Hope they turn it around.
