This place is perfect for living in Cary. I stayed here little more than 2 months. Office staffs are awesome. Kayla is leasing manager and very helpful. I had couple of issues, but they resolved those very quickly. Everything is in walking distance like H-mart, Mr. tire, daycares etc. Best school district in Cary.

This place is just awesome. Its been a month here, so far we had fabulous experience. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Shannon and Crystal at the office. I have mainly dealt with them, but others are also very good. They helped me to setup all my leasing even when I was not here, just had email communications. They kept the room in a great condition. I just came and moved in 5 mins.The location of this place is a great advantage, everything is very nearby and within walking distance. School district is also excellent. With so many kids playing at play area and tennis court, makes this place a lively one.

Great diversity you cant always find in apartment complexes due to well in all honesty the income gaps faced in large of our society today even at this day and time. Its more ever then before to have this experience so this United State of America heal grow and thrive from the past wounds.P.S.UPDATEIf your not kid friendly and working online from home please dont move here. You will ruin it for the families here with children of all ages. I notice we get TOO many complaints via email from the management of kids just being kids. The noise and location of PLAYING, bike riding, skate board riding, ball playing of any kind. I understand if any harm comes to vehicles and personal proprty. But its A LOT of children here and the playground can only hold so many safely during these difficult times. So children will run freely around buildings in the grassy areas as emails have ask them too but then its complaints about noise of that too since the breeze ways carry sound. So now the children have to learn about noise levels of older residents and working from home residents ideal sound acceptance. I pick this place for reviews was ideal for my 3 kids. But I have talked with several moms and we agree that it seems a bit ridiculous all the emails we have gotten about kids just trying to be kids. My children are extremely happy here. I havent seen them this happy since we bought our home but lost our home and dogs to a gas leak years before. So I respectfuly wish management could ignore those people or even be truthful to home workers not to say they arent but inform them of the vast amount of children here and if this place can really suit thier needs of life style if they arent family first at the present point stage in thier lives.

I toured this complex with Hannah last week and was very impressed. Not only was the apartment I viewed in great condition but her customer service was excellent. She took the time to find an available apartment that perfectly catered to my preferences and price range and was very easy to talk to. I am looking forward to leasing and living in this community!

Great community overall. The maintenance is great and the management is friendly. The pool and the gym are neat and clean. Friendly environment, good school and amenities nearby. But the park and sports court could use a renovation. The pond is also dirty and frequently needs to be cleaned.

The staff at Hudson High House are all great. Zach came over for a maintenance call when we had a pipe leaking and was very friendly. He worked diligently and completed the work in a tumely manner doing a good job. Thankyou

Lived there for 3 years. I will say that its family friendly and the pool is nice, and it was affordable and pretty safe. However, dont expect high quality. The maintenance staff are friendly and do their best; but maintenance is done at bare minimum. For instance, our fridge had the worst holes in it that actually allowed air to constantly escape it; they replaced it with another, older, smaller fridge that was worse. I asked for a new one, but was denied. I noticed tons of horrible mold in the HVAC distiller, they said it was ok and just replaced the filter. The staff are friendly enough; but realize they are powerless to get the corporation LCOR to do any type of substantial improvements. Maintenance staff are underpaid, overworked, and undermanned. I told the office I did not want recycled tire-style mulch in the playground, they put it there anyway. Expect your kids to come away with rubber dust all over their hands (The sun chemically breaks down this rubber to a fine powder over time). Expect no speed bumps to ever be installed, to discourage the 25+ MPH bozos zooming through a PRIVATE PARKING LOT with kids crossing. OH AND THE GARBAGE SITUATION.. Jesus, they have ONE DUMPSTER for FIFTEEN BUILDINGS and people dont seem to know they need to throw their trash in the damn door, or theyre too lazy to do so; the button breaks half the time so you end up with a mountain of garbage by the dumpster.We miss our friends there, but there is serious room for improvement. So, all in all... Good location, Low-ish rent; mostly safe; nice pool and grills; most people are friendly; but bad maintenance and the dumpster/garbage problem was serious (At least last year when I lived there.

This place is a cockroach colony - complete infestation. We stayed for 3 months and saw about 30 cockroaches, many of them during the daytime, which is a bad sign. I had one land on my head while sitting on my coach. We found another one dead in our bed one morning. We set out bait and they had Terminix spray, but it wasnt nearly enough. They need to do major work to get rid of the infestation. Our biggest frustration is that we ended up taking some roaches for a ride as we moved into our new house. Once we realized this during the move, we had to immediately unpack everything and ended up killing 6 roaches that day.

Im new to the area as many other apartment seekers, I do take reviews seriously. Thank all of you that made this reviews, they are very important to those of us looking for a place to live. I do not believe the things I have read in many locations and management doesnt seem to be bother by this. What is this? A third world country? How can you charge the amount of money this apartments are costing but yet you cannot pay attention to take care the problems? Slum Landlords mean anything to you? Think about it owning a house cost you less than renting, so apartment business dont take for granted the customers you still have.

We really enjoyed living here. We lived her for 4 years. The apartment was quite nice and the maintenance was fantastic. They responded to all of our requests very quickly. The other people who lived their were not the best, but that is not the companys fault. Other residents would walk through the street not paying attention and let their kids run wild. The only complaint I would have about the company is that often times, the trash would overflow and there would be tons of bags sitting around it. Other than that, everything was great and the management was always really nice and helpful. The grounds were always well maintained and everything looked nice. There is plenty of parking always and the front office holds events for the residents.

Stay Away !! ... The management is awful to deal with...if you have kids... better not to come here.... Many are complaining or suffering but stuck because of School.. If you have choice rent house or townhome will cost same or bit more but there will be peace of mind.. !

Even one star is so generous for them. I was staying there about 9 months. During the period, the management was changed once as the apartment has got the new owner. The previous management was horrible for treating tenants. They were so rude. The new management seemed OK at the beginning, but there soon became so bureaucratic.We left our unit emptied for two months because our new house construction was completed earlier than the lease over. The management entered our empty unit without any notice to us ( not even permission) and set the thermostat for cooling to the lowest temperature. for the entire two months. We ended up getting huge amount of electric bill from Dyke Energy later. ( a lot higher fee than 3500 sf house !!) So BE AWARE how they manage the units. They will enter your unit any time without your permission /notice.Almost every week, we had to catch cockroach in the kitchen and dining room area though we placed cockroach killing baits every hidden places. The unit were so dirty and smelly. But we has no choice as we had a dog to find a pet friendly apartment.There waste management were so absurd. The waste dumpster location were so far away from the most units. The dumpster was not emptied often and made so disgusting smell entire apartment during hot humid weather. YOU GUESS!This apartment was one of the WORST experiences of entire my life!!

I moved into Cornerstone Apartments about a year ago and quite frankly it is not as great as they made it out to be, but its also not that bad. The neighborhood is great (safe), the neighbors are friendly, and the management is fairly good. But after saying that, I do have one complaint that bothers me quite a bit that I have also heard from other residents of the complex. The manager is professional and very friendly, BUT there is another staff person that is very disrespectful and rude. Before I moved here, she sounded very nice and welcoming, but after meeting her and sharing some experiences, I am shocked at how she not only treats me, but many other residents. First of all, shes seems to always be in a bad mood, and I cannot judge her for that, but EVERY TIME I talk to her she is very rude, always has an attitude, and is disrespectfully direct. If I ever have a issue regarding maintenance or billing, she talks to me like I am annoying her and demeans me. I always feel bad after talking to her, and it doesnt help that she makes rude remarks. I know we do not have to like everybody, but no matter what I treat her very respectfully, and I expect the same courtesy from her towards all the residents. I am writing this to make sure you are aware of this issue and understand how uncomfortable residents feel when we are being treated like a nuisance. I have heard this complaint from many of my neighbors about the same problem. I hope you take this review seriously and do something about it. Thank you and have a great day.

Lived here for 9 months. I like it. Dont know why the reviews are so bad. Entire staff is new. Pool is nice. It is quiet. Neighbors are friendly. Most important - the public schools are in the top 5 in the entire state.

Thanks guys! We were going to check this place out because it’s close to H-Mart but didn’t because of all the negative reviews. Writing to let tenants know that your reviews are effective and to put management on notice that these reviews hurt prospective tenants from looking and thus the bottom line.

I do not recommend this community. For the price there are far better options near by.At time of move in work order was submitted to correct a leaking toilet, when maintenance responded they stated no leak was present. A couple of weeks later a clear leak was visible and new work order submitted. The wax seal was replaced and leak still present. I have submitted 5 work orders for the same toilet and the same problem. A new toilet was installed, but leak around base continued. Also note quality of work in photos. This problem has existed since July 28, 2018; today is Nov 8, 2018. Overall maintenance of community is not what I would expect for the area.

The overall shape of the apartment management is tremendously improved .. We still have hiccups on the follow ups on the maintenance requests, however, it is improved quite well. Management team has completely changed and only the property manager being so supportive and responsive is not enough. We need the same support from the staff. I think that is now very good. I have been living here for close to 1.3 years and I feel that the management staff is now very friendly and approachable.

If you take Davis Drive Elementary school out of the equation, it will open up a wide range of options for you. For the rent you pay here, you can easily afford a townhome in the vicinity. The only thing going for this apartment complex is the school. And so you pay a significant premium. If you dont care for the school, look around in the area and you will get good deals.Its a family friendly neighborhood. Very safe. Management seems to be friendly. When your lease is up, the rents go up significantly compared to someone moving into the same apartment at that time. So be prepared for that. Maintenance guys are friendly as well. The complex is well maintained. Washer Dryer hooks, so add another 40 bucks to your monthly expenses. Water/sewer and trash for a 2 bedroom apartment for a family runs $100. Utility bills year round seems to be around $100+ for a 2 bed apartment. Factor in all these expenses before you sign on the dotted line.

The most trashiest service I have ever experienced. Repair services are never on time, especially when needed. When I moved in, the apartment was in the worst condition. Kitchen cabinets had food crumbles, there were bugs on the carpet everywhere, several roaches, etc.. They would act sweet in the beginning but then the actual horror unfolds. Im just waiting for my lease to get over.

Be aware new residents! When you go check apartment they will give you low rent to lure you and ask you to come tomorrow for paperwork even if youre ready to do paperwork the same day. Next day, when you go again the new person will meet you and ask you to pay high rent for the same apartment and tell the person you met yesterday doesnt work anymore or went on vacation. They repeat this story with most people. One of the employee told me that their rent is changing everyday like stock market. $100 hike everyday. Wow! I really want to invest in their stock.If youre looking in Cary, there are lot of options. I am moved in Bexley in February and its really good.

The community is undergoing a face lift so make sure to check out the club house. They care about their tenants enough to want to improve this community to make it even more special.

I have lived at Cornerstone Apartments going on I believe my 6th year. I find that it is in an amazing location and convenient to shopping, schools, airport, highways and much more. I have not had ANY major issues living here. The office staff are friendly and efficient. Kaitlyyn, the manager is an amazing and caring individual. If youre looking for a place to call home, you should consider Cornerstone Apartments!!

Creepy +Unhealthy + management doesn’t give a damn to work orders no matter how serious situation is (we had a water leak and it was not repaired for days until we called their emergency line after office hours)+ apartment was not cleaned when we moved in + carpet was unbelievably dirty as if someone lived there for 4-5 years and they handed over the apartment to us without even doing a vacuum + top of everything they have BED BuGS. I lost most of my precious furniture and clothes to bed bugs. Lost my king size ($2500 worth only 2 year old mattress+ dresser drawer +twin mattress + king size blanket set+ expensive king size bed spread 🤦‍♀️ Clothes and it was a nightmare so lost my peace of mind too). Management doesn’t care at all. They’re all about their business and just care about getting the rent. I hate this place. I have been in different places and been living in apartment for almost 15 years but never had such experience. Don’t move here. Country schools are not worth if you have to live at such place. You can easily get nicer schools with much better and healthier place for your kids and for yourself.

Broken HVAC and water heater, dishwasher and stove, filthy and cockroaches and this was my first week!

If I had option of selecting rating in negative, I would rather select that. This is an awful place and management is pretty proud on their awfulness. I moved in and was told I will get an upgraded unit. When I moved in, the carpet was extremely filthy. If you walk barefoot you get rashes and itchy feet. The dishwasher is broken. Kitchen counter tops have large burnt spots. Restroom taps are awfully filthy and have really slow water flow. I informed apartment office and all they are saying is that the carpet is dirty and it’s nothing new because high traffic areas are usually dirty. Well but I don’t want to walk on somebody’s filth and mess. I can’t let my kids roll on floor or freely roam Inside. Don’t move here. This is not a healthy place to live at. Apartments have roaches and other creepy bugs frequently crawling on your floor. Stay away

The community with the worst set of management skilled ppl doing mangement works. Trash is kind off overflowing monthly once and no take from management. Even for the emergency maintenance work these ppl with come next day.I don’t understand the concept of 300$ transfer fee when am willing to Move to a bigger house within the community and willing to pay more rent for the new house.This community is not up to the mark of the others in the surrounding. For the same rent we can better get a townhome instead..will not recommend this even to a stranger

Currently living there and trying to switch apartment ... they are not friendly and use brain to give flexibility without any $$ loss to them and paying $300 transfer fees and $100 additional deposit. They should use common sense instead of just rules written somewhere ..We understand everyone is doing business but they need to customer problems as well.Here is simple case .Jan 2019 :Apt X : available, but cant hold it, its gone .. reason cant hold it for 1 month as for transfer they need 1 month notice and they can hold it for 1 month.. we were good.March 2019Apt A - where we live . Ending agreement jun 2019In March 2019 - we approached to transfer and paid 300 + 100 $$ for transfer.Options : Apt B : Rent $1260 available in March. But cant hold it for 1 month.Apt C : will be vacant after 1.5 months - we have to hold it . (Rent 1260 ) to initiate transfer process.We asked if Apt B is available when we approach notice, can that given it to us.. they said yes.April 2019 : 1 Month after notice, Apt A is available but now they are asking $1320 - new rent.We said - as because i have daughter 3 years old, i prefer ground floor... we dont want anyone below has noice issue.. thats why we need apt A and Apt B is on 2nd floor...We say if we want to change - we need to pay extra rent....Note - Apt A is vacant 3+ months now.. vs apt B is near to pool and premium location.. thats why i said they don’t use common sense.I was expecting matured behavior from new owner belle properties but its not...

These community has lot of issues. The maintenance boss threatens community members with violence. He will yell and call members names, he is very racist person. Always yelling and swearing at child members. He recently threatened community member at maintenance shop than chased member to office. When member tried complain to office manager Caitlyn, Maintenance boss Lewis came in and yelling and swearing in property manager Caitlyn office, threatening member in front of property manager. He is disgrace to community and company cornerstone. I hear him talk lot time of different way he steal from company and many others know this. When complaints made to office manager Caitlyn she defend him and does nothing. The whole staff is dishonest persons and need to change. DO NOT MOVE HERE not safe community to live.

I have stayed in this apartment for 2 years. The former management was awful. They talked and acted rudely to everybody. They treated people very bad from maintenance to manager. It took days for emergency maintenance needed. The property manager, named Ashley, treated and acted like people begging her for staying. She treated people differently by races. Its seem like a races discrimination. We have planned to move out after we finish the contract. Fortunately, theyre all gone.This apartment has changed a new management. It is the best management I have worked with. New property manager, Jamie Philip, and his maintenance team have been worked with all their effort to help everybody going thru critical winter weather. They always make sure safety for everybody. Before and after the snow coming, all the sidewalk and stairs were treated to make sure no icy. Maintenance team reacted super quick. my apartment had leaked water. I called the maintenance and they came within 5 minutes (It took days before when water leaking from the ceiling with the former ones).I highly recommend everybody for this Cornerstone Apartment. If you are looking for good apartment and good school for your children. This is a good place for you and for your children. Davis Drive Elementary and Davis Drive Middle School are the best schools of North Carolina. In addition, The new management treated everybody fairly and safety is their first priority, which is good for everybody. That is why my family is staying here.Hopefully, this review is going to helpful for you looking...

I agree with everyone on the customer service, its terrible. Dont expect any favors from the staff, you are a number, and they would rather paint their nails then help you out. One person here got flooded and when she called she was told there were more important things going on and they would get to her when they could. true story. look elsewhere.

This place is nice location for school kids and shopping. Only good thing about it. Maintenance supervisor is back at it again, this time he was yelling, swearing and being derogatory to property manager Caitlyn, employee and a woman tenant all in front of Property Manager Caitlyn, while myself and other tenants watching. It appear to being is acceptable to property manager Cailtyn and too owner of community. This is a bad man, and a bad property manager to continue to allow tenant and employee to be treated this way. Property manager allows this as is friends with maintenance supervisor so wont stop it. When will company realize this to be true and if question it needs to ask others. I would not recommend this community to live there are many in area with safe workers in them.

Terrible since day one. Will hit you with a $120 late fee even if youve called to ask if you can just turn it in 4 HOURS LATE when you will get off of work. I work 14 hour shifts.. water for a ONE BEDROOM ONE BATH $60 is a LOW and we have seen $110!!!!!! Not to mention our upstairs neighbors(probably not their fault) flooded something TWICE! Both times after that our bill was very high.. My car has bit hit in the parking lot when I was gone for only two days, and kids constantly playing on or around them constantly scratching the paint. DO NOT MOVE HERE

Demographics P1.: This is not a welcoming community. I attempted to get to know my neighbors and say hi on multiple occasions. Nope, no one tried. Sat on my patio, smiled, waved with friends. Nothing! Everyone keeps to themselves. So I learned my lesson from the start.2. Demographics P2.: If you are interested in this community, notice who goes to the mailboxes as you sit and wait for your tour. Youll notice this is ALL Families, no young professionals. If you look to your right, you will notice, when a family gets a tour with their two Kids, when they return to the car, take note of how many kids are actually in the car. My neighbors upstairs lied on their applications about their 3 children and baby in a 1 bedroom. Or 5 kids in a two bedroom. Talk about Jumanji upstairs! Unbelievable! Look to your left and notice the kids playing in the street, running between cars and not moving no matter how slow you drive through.3.Want to enjoy the pool?:Beware of the creepy gentlemen by the pool watching you and not their children who continued to break ladders at the pool, closing the pool for MONTHS! Instead of scolding their kids, they rather meander away and not teach their kids what is wrong. Luckily a young female teacher sitting next to me warned me about the creeper who had the cops called on him at Wal-Mart for stalking her.4.Want to have peace of mind in your home? You wont This property needs a serious evaluation. I had EXTREME water damage on three occasions (within a year)due to incoherent/cheap neighbors not reading signs saying that you should turn your faucet on a drip in freezing weather; second time due to my OLD water heater bursting and FLOODING my apartment; and the third time was caused by my neighbor upstairs thinking it is completely okay to run a BROKEN washing machine, ultimately causing my kitchen to flood. Oh, when they finally put my furniture up on 1 inch wood blocks, the manager at the time said he isnt paying for a hotel for me, because the apartment is Habitable. Not even kidding. The floors were so wet that the carpet was pulled up and suctioned, NOT replaced!5.Enjoy your sleep? Sorry, not here; paper thin walls along with neighbors who allow their screaming kids on the porch outside your window at 7am.... sound fun. Yeah, no, I never had to set an alarm. That was my wake up call.If you have to deal with anyone, you should contact Caitlin, if she is still even there. They dont deserve her. This property changes owners annually. Cary is a beautiful little town. Its a shame this community doesnt fit in to the lovely qualities of Cary.

No Water in Cornerstone Apartment. Over 20 families are facing water crisis from last 4 days. No pro-active measures from management. Maintenance team done a repairs and kept hands up. No single drop of water. Its a disaster.

My grandmother had lived here seven months and had had one problem after another. The office and maintenance are extremely slow to respond to request. We will be moving her out at the end of her lease. It is a horrible place to live.

BEWARE THE MANAGEMENT (OLD OR NEW) DOESNT CARE!!!MAINTENANCE IS HORRIBLE. EQUIPMENT IN THE APARTMENTS ARE POOR QUALITY. THEY CHARGE SOME PEOPLE HIGHER RENTS THAN OTHERS FOR THE SAME SIZE APARTMENT.THEY HAVE NO ETHICS.
