Tech was rough during the mani and pedi. My fingers and toes were sore afterwards. I didn’t notice the fine cut until after I got home. After a couple hours of being carful with my nails after I left the salon the polish started coming off. Went to bed and woke up the next morning to polish on my sheets and it was still coming off this morning. I just got back home from complaining to the salon which they will only fix the color I wanted a refund since of course I’m not letting them work on my handed while they’re cut. I was told they didn’t cut me and they don’t know how my cuts happened. The man was very rude to me and would not take any responsibility for what his salon did to me. He would not give me a refund even though I had other services that I told him I didn’t want my money back for. I will never go back to this salon. I get my nails done once a month and have never had this kind of problem. This was my first time here and I won’t be going back.

I asked for extra long and she continued to put short tips on me, I came with a matte design and she proceeded to say she could not do any design I showed her which were just simple s’s. The shaping is off I asked for square, my finger nails are curved and tilted she filed so hard my middle finger is STILL bleeding and I left at 11am. I was charged $10 extra just for some rhinestones because she didn’t know how to do any designs. I’m very disappointed.

Paid almost$69 for a full set walked out and noticed it already looked like I needed a fill. My full set lasted 5days before they started lifting. I wont return. Better service with a private nail tech.

I love this salon..the pedicures are amazing and the woman who did my nails was awesome..i usually feel weird being pampered but she made me relax and enjoy the whole experience

I just got a gel mani. The lady was very nice but filed my nails to death. I told her not to file much I had just filed them. I should have worn my glasses. I came out with red polish all over my fingertips.Ive been there before and had awesome work done. Ill still go back. Ill just pass on this particular lady.

I am at a loss for words. Just paid 57$ for this full set no polish NOTHING. I usually pay 45$ for gel color with full set anywhere else I go. Will not be returning .

First time there I was visiting family. They were nice and provided good service. I got a pedicure, full set and partial face wax. All was good except for the lady that waxed my face I think she was the wife of guy who sits in front. I tried talking to her while she was heating wax but she wouldn’t turn around and just kept pointing at table then b4 she started anything I got a call and took it for it was for my ride pick up she was very impatient, and very rude!! She pulled out my earbuds during the call. She acted like she definitely hates her life or people.

I live in San Diego and visit my relatives here. I only come here to get mani &pedis. Id rather wait to visit here again. The team is really sweet and their social distancing rules are great. definitely recommend!

Went to this place with my mom and the workers were so sweet and attentive. My pedicure was good, but the lady who did my nails did an amazing job! I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it perfectly. Definitely worth every penny and would come back again if I actually lived in Arizona.

First time going and I had a great experience! Everyone is friendly and did a great job with my gel manicure. Also, great prices :) Will deff be coming back here for my nail day

Long wait, typical perceived rudeness ( Im sure its just a cultural thing). Happy with the design HOWEVER less than 24 hours later the polish (Gel) is already chipping and the polish itself is not level, very uneven. I wont be going back. Hard to see the unevenness but every nail is uneven, some more than others.

Absolutely recommend this place. It was my first time here and Peter did a wonderful job on my nails. It’s exactly what I wanted and he kept my nails so nice and even! Highly recommend! He was gentle on my nails and took his time! Also, great pricing depending on what you get. I got a fill which was $19 and that’s not bad. Hopefully a second time I come it’s as good as my first.

I had a full set of acrylics done on Dec 30th and I need a fill already and one fell off a week after they were done. As far as my, pedicure that I had done was not satisfying.

I had my nails done in February by Heidi. Then covid-19 came and I had to wait until May to get them done again. Peter did a fill on them only because they stayed on. He said I was the first person that didnt need a full set. So I think they do a very good job.

Great place to go and get your nails and toes done. They are not ruff (from my experience) will be going back!! Its alittle expensive depending on what you get done. For example I got my toes and acrylics done the first time for 80 dollars then 2 weeks later got a fill in and toes again and paid 70 dollars. But like I said great place to get them done they do an outstanding job and its the best salon Ive ever been too hands down would recommend this place to anyone.

They did not make me wait at all and Mai did an amazing job on my pedicure! I will definitely be going back and will be asking for her.

Ive given them 3 different chance since they are so close to my home, but they always make my nails way too thick. It looks like bugs are sitting on top of my nail... its just a big bump. Also they painted my little girls nails with the gel and since I wasnt right there watching, I feel like they only did one coat because you can see straight through the gel. Was a waste of $100...we wont be back

Best in Buckeye hands down! We have been to the others and they just dont compare. I took my daughters, 6 and 12 years old, to this Nail Salon to get their nails painted and they were treated great! I got a pink and white ombre full set which turned out beautiful! The prices are average and well worth it! The environment was clean and friendly! This is definitely our new spot for girls day :)

Ive been coming to this place periodically for the last 3 years. Every time they always acknowledge our presence and greet us. Usually I go in with my mom or sibling and they recognize us at this point lmao. Their timing and skills are wonderful. They dont try to rush myself or my family out. Communication is a bit tricky here and there but in the end were ALWAYS satisfied with our results. Normally I pay roughly $60 for a full acrylic set which isnt bad IMO. The nails usually last me 3+ weeks and dont crack, chip or fall off unreasonably. I absolutely recommend this place and will continue to come back here time and time again.

I tried and I really feel like I wasted $100. You can get far better elsewhere for the same price.

It was my first time and I booked an appointment with Peter for my sister and he did a great job with her nails and took his time to make it how she wanted. But the lady I had, cut me multiple times and felt like she was rushing to get the job done which ended up hurting my nails and making them sore after she finished. Nice lady but could be a little more careful.

Update:I went back to Kathys nails . The changes made me feel relaxed and more measures was taken to service customers safely. I coudnt be more pleased with their service! I changed my 3 star to a 5 star.I have always been very happy with service from Kathys. . I would have given them a 5 star but today when I sat down to get my nails done they sat me next to another lady. When they told me to move closer to her i said no Im not comfortable with doing it with my weak immune system. And the covid 19 the tech huffed then they moved the other lady closer to me neither of us felt comfortable. A few min later they. Set another lady next to me I was so stressed because was almost elbow to elbow. Also the tech wasnt happy I couldnt bend my fingers to make it easier. I have a lot of health problems an my joints dont bend like other peoples does. They do wonderful work like always but its not safe for me or others to be set side by side at this time.

Love this place! The customer service and attention to detail is exceptional! I definitely recommend having an appointment as they can be very busy and the walk-in wait time can be long. Quality of work is great! My acrylics and Dips last for weeks when I come here.

Went to get a full set and the base of the nails were awesome😁but the paint was a complete disappointment😡. I got my two ring fingers a flame design but the flame looked like spikes not even curvy, nothing, it looked really bad. I’m very disappointed and I do not recommend going here if you want a nice design even the simplest design and the lady tried to redo them twice and I was still disappointed. And they were not even the same color as the rest of the nails. and when I asked for them to be redone she started talking in their language and having attitude and making faces and I felt really uncomfortable and I paid 45 dollars I suggest just going to a different salon and paying just a little extra to get a better job. If the workers can’t do it, don’t say you can do it, don’t try. Just say “hey I cannot do it”. And I would totally understand . I wish I could give it zero stars. I am never coming here again!!

For a first time I can say this place is wonderful. Not only did they have music they had two different TVs tuned to 2 different channels and they had the closed captioning on instead of the volume. They had multiple sources for light so there was not a lot of glare the temperature was wonderful the product seem fresh Peter was so welcoming. Lisa get my pedicure and she did a marvelous job because I have difficult feature to work on being type 2 diabetic then I had Heidi for my manicure and she did a wonderful job there was Amy who helped translate for Lisa all in all this was a very clean shop they seem to be using clean tools on each person and they had liners in their pedicure bowls. The prices were very reasonable and the work was excellent I definitely will go back to Kathy Estrella nails again

Hands down the best nail salon I’ve visited in Buckeye. They are friendly and are so accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend them.

My friend and I went in at about 6:20pm (they close at 7pm) we waited a little, my friend and I both got pedicures we finished at 7:29!! The entire time the lady did not rush her work. She was very sweet and also held a good conversation with my friend and I. I didnt get her name, but will definitely be back to see her again. Thank you.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE went in to get pedicures threy rushed didnt even do a good job and got mad when I asked her to do it again thats why I pay extra for calus removal then my daughter asked for a sugar scrub and she put calus remover in her feet she says she didnt want it the lady didnt even do the sugar scrub she asked for them they tried to charge her for the calus remover i told them she didnt ask for it and he tried snapung says they have camera so she didnt want it they clearly hate there jobs and have no customer service skills at all do not waist your money

They have bunch of people  who are very experienced and talented. They work with full enthusiasm and they always do my nails with perfection. They never fool their clients and they always charge them reasonably. I am very pleased with the service they gave me.

Last Friday was my first time getting my nails done here at Kathy’s nails. A friend of mine referred me to this place so I figured I give it a try since I’m always looking for good nail techs. I want to start off by saying that I’m not one to sit here and leave bad reviews. I just want to let others know before deciding to spend good money here. I made an appointment with Heidi and the whole time I felt like she was being completely rude to me when I was nothing but kind. After everything was done I paid 72$ for just a full set here. She left my nails with bubbles on them and not fully painted. I find that really upsetting since I paid so much. I would’ve hoped that they’d care enough to pay attention to detail better since I’m trusting them with my nails.

My daughter gets her nails done here. They look good but theyre always breaking. She had them done a few days ago and a nail broke. We went yesterday to get it fixed and they told us go back today. Then we went back and had to wait an hour. There was a lady there who had her nails done the same time as my daughter and her nail had broken as well. She said the last time 4 of her nails broke. The lady who did her nails was so rude to her as well.

Love this place. Never have any complaints. It can be a long wait at times only because it’s customers love going here and I can’t even be mad at that! Great vibe !

They are really nice but they do not no how to really polish they line be bogus if you want it to look perfect go on Watson. But they are super sweet old ladies. Thats why I gave them 5starsOkay so they have got better forgot the guy name by TV he is really good... .

Wish i could give this place negative stars!!! SO absolutely mad and frustrated with this place. Came in with my sister and we got regular pedicures and left SO frustrated I had to go back and ask for a refund that they DENIED me!! They left dead skin on my feet and my sisters, they sat me in a chair that was broken and did not massage, the women picked at my sisters toes so hard they bled and did NOT give us a discount! They got the hot rock out to massage them on my sisters legs and feet who is 8 months pregnant BTW and burned the bottom of her feet!! Then when I asked them to redo my toes the women in the back laughed. I will NOT be returning and will be telling EVERYONE about my experience. Absolutely shameful. Went home and could have done a better job myself and saved the time and money!!!!!! Do NOT recommend to anyone.

They did a great job on my nails. I use the dipping process. Not many places do that in Buckeye.

They wanna tell you what to get on your nails. They do rush jobs because they are trying to collect as much money as possible.

Had a fill and some repairs done here. (My nails were a mess!) Peter did a beautiful job fixing me up. I didnt get the name of the lady who painted the flowers on my nails, but she did a great job as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I had been going and having the owner do my nails for over a year. I took a small break and called and made an appt. He said he couldnt do them but he had someone that was very good I asked did he remember how I like them very specific in what I have done he said yeah dont worry. I was running late so I called and he said to come in. I arrived and the lady 4th chair in started a full set and had no idea what she was doing. Before she even started filing after applying the acrylic i pointed out how they looked like door wedges and this is not what i asked for. The owner saw they were bad and added product to try to fix and it only got worse. They were talking about me and laughing in my face. I asked her to not go further to waste product and time and just remove and I was told they could remove them but I would be charged for a full set and a removal so I said I wouldnt pay and the owner threatened to call the police keep in mind there were at least 6 other customers in the shop also. I said fine call the police because this was his shops fault and I wasnt paying. He then asked if i would give his wife, second chair, a chance to fix them. I am a reasonable person so I allowed it. While I waited to have her try I took my keys only because I need to go to my car and they thought I was gonna run off without giving them a chance to fix. I watched as I walked to my car parked directly in front to grab a water bottle to take some medication and they didnt have water I could use, and went right back in. The entire time she was trying to fix them she yanked and pulled and was so rude. She turned to her husband and in their language said something and showed him my nails. He then said they cant fix them so they would take them off and i should go somewhere else. I said I wasnt paying and he said that was fine and his wife then pulled out supplies to just pry the nails off my fingers and I said no they need to be soaked off. They reluctantly spent the time to soak them off and remove the nails. Before I left he said that because I was running late is why they couldnt do my nails ???? I said if u didnt have someone that could do them then he should have said when I called to say I was running late, sorry we cant take you now and I would have not come. A few days later I got in my wallet and noticed a $100 bill was missing. This is was the last establishment I had been to before coming home and hadnt been back out before I noticed the missing money! Beware if you use them and if they dont do what u want dont pay! They use scare tactics and usually get away with it since alot of customers think they may get arrested. The police can not make you pay it is a civil matter!! However its obvious they have skills that they can steal from your belongings in just a minute or even less!!!!! Take your purse to the bathroom with you also and dont expect other customers to say bathing if someone gets in your bag. Like I said there were at least 6 other customer that were in there the entire time. Wish I could give ZERO stars obviously!!!

They are rude and want to charge you to go to the restroom and breath. Very over priced. Oh and not only that there was a new girl doing pedicures and she put the callus remover on me rubbed it in clean my feet and never washed the callus remover off and I brought it up to her and she said oh thats the lotion so I told her I knew the difference between the callus remover and the lotion and so I farted up to the owner and I showed it to him and he said no its the lotion so I showed him my feet I said this is callus remover and he got a napkin and he checked it and sure enough it was he said youre right so he goes and he washes it off and he says Im so sorry I told him he was lucky that I wasnt somebody else it just left like that and that callus remover burn my feet.

They know there stuff, rock massage is awesome - Buckeye has a gem here.

This nail shop is a rip off. They cant do any designs that I want . such as a simple matte. Then I ask for gel no acrylic come find out the did acrylic and gel top coat but charged for gel and they have separate price for gel top coat . the I ask for a simple pedicure and they charge me for highest one. Im not one to argue with any but if you are type of company that take advantage of customers I will never go again.

Never go to this salon!!!!! The staff is rude and makes you feel uncomfortable. Then I got a manicure and pedicure and they were both done very poorly. My gel polish is over lapped on my cuticles, its chipping after four days, they didnt scrub my feet what so ever. When I came back today to get my money back for this ridiculous excuse for a pedicure they told me no and that they could add another layer of gel. Without fixing my cuticles and that scrubing my feet would cost extra when every other salon does the regular scrub included in the cost. I walked out because of how rude and inconsiderate they were being. And so rude to me. I feel bad for the other ladies in the salon. Dont ever go here and expect a good job.

New update 2021 4 years after my last review .. I am so glad that Peter still the owner he really take care of his customers and he memorized my name after few times that he started on this location . Every time that I come feels so spoiled .. I continúe recommended this place …I been coming to this saloon for more than 6 years . Before they have a female manager that never said a hello or smile . Now They have a new manager ( Peter) he make a lot of changes and got good quality of products ... Most of the staff is new they are really nice ... I can said that with this new management the place looks better and clean and the customer service really improve with him .. I will definitely recommend this place I hope that Peter stay for years ...

I was looking around for a place to do my nails I came upon Kathy Estrellas Nails. I walking in there and the service when i walked in was okay. I got my pedi then when it came time to my mani the lady asked what was i looking to get done i explained to her what i wanted ( Peach Nail color with Design on the ring finger and middle finger nail) the lady doing my nails said no that she couldnt do that unless i got arcolic nails. Any how i insisted on it and she kept saying no. So i only got color and no design and my pedi wasnt that great.

They do a good job and the people that work there, especially the guy that greets you, are very nice, but the price..WOW. I was charged $63 for 2 manicures. One for me and one for my 5 year old!
