First timer! My personal experience was a good one thanks to my nail tech Katelyn. She was friendly and always asked me as she would work if everything was looking ok, I loved that. It was a bit crowded in there but It was an early afternoon and a Friday. Plus I probably only waited around 20 min max and I was a walk-in.

1st time here and won’t come back. Just wasn’t happy with the way my nails look. Sooooo chunky!! I asked for the picture in purple but with black Instead and this is what I got 🤦🏽‍♀️ and at least 3 of them are crooked…. Still payed the $52 they charged me for this.

They took me 20 minutes after my appointment time and then the guy did a HORRIBLE job on my nails. Then charged me $47 (way more than I normally pay) I had to go home and file and clean them up myself.

Love this place. I recommend always having an appointment to avoid long wait times

The lady who did my nails had thin black glasses and was very rough. I was trying to help her so she wouldn’t struggle and She kept shanking my hand and she was hurting me. She got glue on my skin and she kept trying to push it off. She rushed the work and it came out bumpy. I had to go home and fix them. The nail techs should really take their time to do the nails because if they are doing terrible nails they shouldn’t even be paid. For my appointment I requested a girl to do my nails and they said okay. When I got there they told me I couldn’t request a “woman” because they were running late on appointments. If u are running late on appointments it is not the customers fault because they are paying you. After the yanking and hurting I still gave a tip, and paid 50 dollars for sloppy work. enjoy your money because I’m not ever coming back to this place. T&T nails does better.🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

Great nail shop. They never really rush you. Always busy so appointment is best. I just dont recommend Megan. She was the only one who did shoddy woke.

I made an appointment for 11am. I arrived at 10:54am and signed in being told to take a seat for 5 minutes while they prepare. 15 minutes later I’m told to go sit in the pedicure chair, but there is no water in the feet part and nobody to help me. I wait another 12 minutes or so and after being told “hold on” when I wanted to ask for some warm water in the tub while I wait I just got up and left. Why would I pay for that service? Nobody was helpful, nobody acknowledged me and I made an appointment only to be made to wait and wait and be ignored. It’s my college graduation and I was just trying to treat myself. Go elsewhere if you’re trying to have a nice nail service. You’ll be invisible here.

Call two hours ahead of time they told me that he could get me in at 2:30 I specifically asked them if they were sure and they said yes. I got there and they could not get me in for my appointment time. New to Verrado I would not waste your time, Just like all the other reviews say.

Their good but they could be better if they slow down

This was our second time here (trying to give a second chance) and I’ll never go back!! My daughter got acrylics today and was never told they charge $5 extra to shape your nails and $5 extra for French tip. She gave a $5 tip and they put $10 on my credit card. She took a friend with her who sat 2 seats away and only charged her friend with the same exact nails $49 but charged my daughter $67. Over priced poor quality nails that she hates and they had zero customer serviceTrying to make it right. I’ll never return there!!!

Disappointed with this place. I spent 2 weeks peeling off gel all around my toes. I didn’t know why my big toes were throbbing and sore until I noticed my skin was fused to my nail. She used 3 coats of gel polish to get the color opaque but it is still see through and uneven. Even gossiped about another customer that they were rude to and how offended the customer got. It was bizarre.

I got a gel pedicure. The polish was really messy around the nails and the technician didnt do any removal of dead skin around the toenails. Definitely not what I was expecting for a $70 pedicure with gel polish.The technician kept leaving while doing my pedicure to go outside. It seemed like he was busy with other things and not focused on the service.

I arrived an hour before close on New Year’s Eve. My nails took until after close to finish and the staff was very kind and patient despite his date waiting to go. Loved the outcome of my nails and I never felt rushed. Happy new year!

I wont go there again. Is there any place to go where if you have carpal tunnel they dont embarrass you? So rude!!!

Stopped here & loved my mani & pedi. It was overall fantastic, the service was great, there was a bit of wait but for me it was worth it. Definitely recommend the pedis here thou.

They continually overbook to make the most profit. Every time I’ve had an appointment, I have been left to wait 45 mins to an hour before they even start. It shouldn’t take 2 hours to get a basic gel manicure.

I never know how my nails are going to turn out with this place. They either look great or terrible. They’re pricey and don’t manage time very well.

I never write bad reviews, am not a complainer, and usually give people the benefit of the doubt but this was unacceptable. I do not usually get my nails done for practical reasons but I decided to get acrylics put on for the first time in like a decade. Since I very rarely get my nails done and have not in many years, I did not know what the appropriate protocols were but some things did not sit right with me but wasnt sure if it was normal or not. I just got done reading proper nail procedures manual and just about nothing was done properly. To start off, my technicians name was Johnathan. The procedure was extremely painful, he kept jabbing his fingernail into my skin around my nails, twisting my fingers way beyond what was necessary and did not really let up when I said anything. I figured I was just sensitive or something but I dont think this was normal. HE NEVER CLEANED off my nails, skin, or any of the dust from the excessive filing and then proceeded to apply the acrylic OVER A BUNCH OF NAIL DUST. He also cut my cuticles and used an electric nail file for what seemed to be a very excessive amount of time on my natural nails (which were not in bad shape at all since I care for them at home). So basically he sanded like crazy with power tools and slapped acrylic right over it. Another nail tech was walking around and checking the other nail techs work so even though my intuition was telling me something was wrong, the other nail tech seemed to think everything was fine, so again, I second guessed myself. I really should have gotten up and left. I will never not speak up again in this situation even if Im brand new at getting something done - either way it seems a licensed nail tech should know better, even if I dont. Also, it appeared the tools were not cleaned either; electric file bits had white residue on them from filing other clients nails.. I did pay, but wish I would not have since Ive had time to process, do a little research and realize I was not wrong about my experience. This place is disgusting Im getting them removed somewhere else and I hope I dont get an infection.

Ryan is the best and does an incredible job with Mani/Pedi.

I got a pedicure and within the next few days my nail got infected. I went another time to get my acrylics and they came out a little crooked and had jell polish on the under part of my nail, plus the color did not look like how it did on the nail example. The salon it’s self wasn’t very clean the chair had plastic nail clipping in it I saw bugs on the floor and my techs desk was covered in powder. I think it’s just something they would at least wipe down before helping the next client. I saw other techs that would drop something on the floor and put in back into there box of tools. Not something I would recommend

The entire team at BQ is nothing short of incredible. Their skill level and commitment to quality and the artistry of manicures and pedicures is what makes them the best nail salon in the west valley. There is not a single bad nail tech here and while the wait times can occasionally be longer than average, it is well worth the wait and certainly a sign of how great the place is. Kenny is an absolute professional and maintains a gorgeous, clean and friendly salon. His skill level is second to none, as he is somehow able to be expeditious and considerate of your time while delivering the kind of quality that looks like photoshop in real life. He also makes a point of taking extra good care of his customers and every employee I’ve ever had the pleasure of being serviced by certainly goes to the same lengths to ensure that I’m more than happy with my nails every single visit. BQ Nails is the best!

I have been looking for a place like BQ Nails for so long, a added bonus is it is so close to home. The entire team is wonderful and welcoming, they always make sure you are taken care of. Katelyn is amazing, and knows exactly how I like to have my nails done. I have finally found my Nail Home

I went there yesterday and was seated, two attendeds were not doing anything and three others had customers. They sit me at the bowl I wait 20 mins and I notice that the greater asked a woman to do my pedicure she said no. So I waited and waited finally 22 mins later I got up and left. I don’t have a green dot on my forehead or ugly feet either. They just didn’t want to work and guess what wherever I go I always give a 15 for a tip just on a pedicure, I never get anything fancy just a straight paint job with sometimes a flower painted on my big toe. You lost a 15 dollar tip yesterday.

Walked in for a pedicure. Kim took care of me. Best pedicure ever! Shes my new go to gal!

It’s a neat place, but the lady that did my pedicure was being rude because we couldn’t understand what she was saying through her mask, she rolled her eyes at us when we were confused and walked away. i asked for just a basic pedicure not the special one, but she gave me the special one anyways and charged me for it. Then when she was doing my toes she ripped the upper side part of my toe nail off (way too far down). she only did one coat so there are parts on my toes nails where it kind of just looks like she completely missed it, there was toe nail polish all over the skin on my toes and she only fixed it when she saw me trying to fix it myself. I paid $35 for something my 5 year old niece could do better. Very disappointed and will NOT be back.

Went to get a pedicure with my mom today and did not have an appointment. We didn’t even wait five minutes before we were sitting in our spa chair and they started immediately. We were able to relax and talk without being bothered. I got gel on my toes and they look great. My feet are so soft and smooth. Ask for Tom!!!

I have been to BQ Nails three times, they have been friendly each time and they do a great job.

I have officially left my nail shop in Litchfield park. As we all know a nail salon is all about the quality of work done. Ask for Tom and you won’t be disappointed. His pedicures are on a different level.Added bonuses- The massage chairs are top notch- The salon is incredibly clean- The owner is extremely friendly- They leave you alone and let you relax while your there- And Starbucks is next door!

Lynn gave me a great gel pedicure! It was my first time here and I was seated quick (called ahead 15 mins prior to arriving) and she gave a great leg message. Would definitely go back!

The man I got was using the buffer and punctured my nail on top of that he did 5 coats Of gel!!!! my nails started cracking the next day and now I have to wait till my nail heals until I can get them done again 😒

The owner is lovely, MOST of them are skilled in their craft, and the location is easy to access. Bright clean spa atmosphere, and a big selection of nail polish colors in regular, gel, and dip powder. I waited a bit longer than I wanted to but I did not have an appointment so check in before you go to make sure they have availability! I went in a few times after original review and decided to remove a star and add that the quality is lacking and professionalism is not priority for some of the employees as the men were constantly standing over the lady who was doing my nails and it appeared they were flirting- making my time seem a waste and the quality of my manicure was no longer a priority. My nails ended up being very rough feeling as my nail was not smoothed out fully before applying the gel. When I’m paying more to be there than other nail salons, I expect exceptional service and quality work. Doing nails is an art and should be treated as such.

I went in to get a color change. I chose a neon yellow color. The lady proceeded to tell me that the color I chose was too light for me because my skin was too dark. I don’t understand how her comment was okay. I believe that I was the paying customer and could choose whatever color I wanted. I will not be going back to this place even though it’s one mile from my house.

They are very friendly and helpful. I have been getting gel (hard)nails for the past 13 years instead of acrylics because they break less or not at all. This place use a cheaper or different gel instead of the usual hard gel; which most nail salons use hard gel that last longer and have less breakage. They dont explain that they use cheaper gel and it will break very easily which can cost you more money in the long run and time in getting broken nails fixed.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service. Called 1 week in advance to schedule a 1:30pm appointment on a Saturday. Waited 45 MINUTES past my appointment time (yes. I understand sometimes appointments go longer than expected) ONLY TO HAVE THREE WALK INS GET CALLED BACK BEFORE ME. To make it all better, I then had the manager argue with me regarding the order in which clients arrived. I am very disappointed, especially since my favorite nail tech, Holly, works here. Unfortunately management needs A LOT of work.

Appointments are meaningless. I had an appointment for 1:00 for a pedicure. It didnt start until 1:45. Walk ins were being taken in before appointments. I gave 2 stars because the service was good (once I got it). Not sure if I will give the place another try as this seems to be a constant issue in their reviews.

First experience was great. Friendly and clean. Great mani & pedi by one of the male staff (regrettably didn’t get his name). Second experience was dreadful from beginning to end. I could have definitely done a better polish job at home.

My long and healthy names are breaking after getting a polish color change here. They filed the top of each nail with a very rough file and then painted them. Makes me wonder what chemicals they use. . . :( I also felt unwelcome after requesting the polish change only. Lesson learned. I will not go back.
