Clean apartments, and nice enough community. Not much separation between floors so live on the second floor if you can. Manager is nice enough but not helpful and generally indifferent for any contract questions or disputes. Predatory regional manager with unethical practices. Will charge for insufficient notice collecting double rent while having had no problems renting out the apartment in the 14 days lead up time to the time they had. Even with an extension on a fixed term lease (extension was also fixed term), and bringing this to their attention that they are in violation of MS Title 89 law stating that no notice is required for any fixed term lease, the penalty was still enforced. In addition, I moved out 2 days early and management refuses to credit me for the 2 days pro-rated rent amount and added it on top of the insufficient notice penalty Im being harassed with, and not taking off a month-to-month charge that we had at least agreed on amicably. Management refuses to engage with me to revise this as a possible error on their part (because I dont want to pay $1 more dollar than I may owe) and instead refer me to predatory regional manager.Other negative experience included water being cut off multiple times last year during daytime working hours up to several hours at a time from 9 AM sometimes to 2 PM. Working from home at the time made this intolerable and unbearable. The apartment felt uninhabitable because I literally could not shower or even use the bathroom for basic human needs. This issue was brought up to management several times nicely at first then more direct (but not impolitely) who, again, were nice enough but at the end indifferent and lackadaisical in any response therefore useless. To be fair, I was given $50 concession when I brought up the water at lease renewal. Predatory manager at the time had no trouble returning my phone calls quickly when the water cut-off issue became so repeatable that I had to contact local media. It interestingly never became a problem after that.Maintenance was always responsive, and pleasant.

Highpointe is a very nice place to live. I lived there for 2 years and upon my initial move-in, in 2019, they had some office staff changes. These changes were for the best. Mario the manager, and Lisa at the front of the office are some remarkably easy people to work with. They will be sure that any issues you have are tended to promptly. The maintenance is also really prompt and thorough. Austin, as a more recent addition to the head of this propertys maintenance team, will go above and beyond to see that your issues are promptly and accurately handled. Keith was another maintenance worker that I often saw who shared the same attributes. All of the maintenance team is very friendly and speaks to you as you pass by them. The pool amenities are nice but are often filled with the same group of tenants, so if you would like to have weekends at the poolside you would need to arrive quite early. The fitness center has nice equipment and there is a small playground for the kids to play at. The majority of the residents I have seen are upper 20-year-olds, young families, and some older adults. If I were to mention any complaints it would be that the USPS does not utilize the package lockers that other carriers use on the property. Instead, they place a slip into your mailbox and you have to physically present the slip at the post office. The garbage system could use an overhaul, as there are only two (albeit large) dumpsters. They fill rather quickly over the weekend so I just learned to take my garbage prior to the weekend or on Monday evening. Otherwise, if you are looking at a quiet, nice apartment with nice amenities, is close to grocery stores, a short drive to Flowood, and quick access to the interstate then this would be a strong place to consider.

My husband and I have been here about a year, and we have really enjoyed our time here! The apartment is very nice. Has nice flooring throughout, nice kitchen upgrades, and every room has plenty of space and storage. The repairs we would submit in were taken care of in a timely manner. All of the staff members are very nice and very accommodating. I recommend Highpointe Apartments to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced apartment in the Jackson/Brandon area!

Lived here for 4 years and had an overall great experience! The unit was very clean and nice upon move in and all of the rooms had plenty of space and storage. Appliances were brand new and all worked great. Submitted several work orders during my stay and all were taken care of promptly and professionally. This included a mysterious rain water leak that took some time to solve, but the maintenance team was second to none! They even went out of their way to help me with car trouble. The office staff was always nice and easy to work with. Only negatives for me were that the fitness center is a little on the small side, but does have just enough equipment. There were issues with several machines breaking, but this appeared to be do to manufacturing and took some time to repair. The walls in the units are also on the thin side so be prepared to hear some noise if you have loud neighbors.

I have been at Highpointe 1 for 11 years . This team is the best that we have had in a couple of years. We first moved her because the manager made everyone feel like they had a home. In fact, I moved my parents across the side walk to care for them and for the ten years they were here, everyone on staff and maintenance were beyond their duties to help us. After a year or so, we finally have that feeling again. Mario is very personable and helpful. His staff Tiffany and Lisa are the same. This is a wonderful staff. Our maintenance crew are awesome and always here to let you know they will get the job done if you call. We have a great on property guy also.I have also met and made lasting friends while living here that mean the world to me. I am thankful for our new staff . We were thinking of leaving our home until we got this great staff and so many wonderful neighbors .

Recently had an experience with the maintenance crew coming into our apartment without knocking. I was completely undressed getting into the shower. I am a woman and felt completely violated. Mario in the front office advised me that if we chose to move out that we would be free to do so without having to pay to terminate our lease. We decided that this is what we wanted to do because of me no longer feeling comfortable. Mario is now going back on his word and my husband and I are not able to pay the termination fees. We are now forced to stay where I no longer feel comfortable or safe to shower without my husband home because of the lack of follow through. I received an apology the day of the situation but there was absolutely no follow up later regarding the situation and was basically called a liar by Mario. He says that the maintenance man insists he knocked. My water was not on and I heard the deadbolt turn and door open. How could I possibly hear those things but not a knock on the door. We were given notice that they would be coming at some point during the week but there was zero timeline given. You can’t just say “we will be there sometime after Monday” and expect that people are just constantly preparing for them to be there. The situation occurred on a Thursday when we were told the work would begin on Monday .Between this situation and the smoking allowed in the pool area I will certainly advocate against anyone ever moving in here. Cannot wait until our lease is up.

My husband and I and moved here in April of this year, and we have really enjoyed it! The apartments are nice and our neighbors are all quiet and friendly. It’s a pet friendly place with stations all around, which has been great.Lisa in the front office is a gem! She’s very nice and fun to be around.Our only complaint has been that something we noticed in the pre-check was never fixed, although we brought it up a second time. But it was just a couple of small things, so it didn’t bother us. When we mentioned a possible water leak, maintenance came by the next day.

I have lived here for almost two months now and am absolutely pleased with the apartment, staff, and service! The staff is very friendly and made sure my move-in process went smoothly. If I ever run into the office with any frantic questions they always have an answer for me. The apartments are indeed luxury looking and getting a response for maintenance request is quick turn around with a phone call or visit to the office. The two pools are kept clean and are a fantastic way to enjoy the weather and meet the neighbors! I have yet to feel unsafe here at Highpointe and am excited to be living in an area that is close to downtown Brandon, the Brandon Amphitheater, and a quick drive down to Pearl area if need be! As long as you dont need anything from the front office, you will be fine. We have lived here for almost two years. Maintenance requests are often not promptly answered or simply ignored. The front office doesnt call back when you leave a message, which you had to leave because they didnt answer the phone. My wife and I placed a maintenance request on Sept. 5 due to the bathtub faucet continuously leaking. This is the second time that we have had this issue which means the first time was simply patchwork and wasnt fixed completely. We got an email on Sept. 14 stating that the work order had been completed. I immediately responded when I got home an hour later and said that the work order had not been completed because the water was still running. Never heard anything back. At the end of the month, we noticed that our bill that was $40 when we first moved in had more than doubled. Now, we are in October and the water is leaking worse than it was before and Highpointe has yet to do anything about it. However, they were gracious enough to send the bill this month for $181. We have been calling and still no response. It is outrageous. If I had a do-over, i would have never considered moving here.

Hi there, reader, I’m like any other regular human being that left their Juuls in the car after getting off on a long day of work, which pays me to live in these lovely apartments. As I was walking from my car, I turned around and notice the police. After I see them they instantly drove up to my car. Which scared me because I recently just served time for being on my way to work by the Brandon Police. And it’s nice to see that they still are watching me. And I can’t understand why, cause I make and pay good money to live here with my family like any other neighbor. But I would never understand why.

I’m pretty disappointed to say the least. I’m new to Mississippi and was actually referred to these apartments by a friend. The insides of the apartment look great. I really thought I would love it here. The only problem are the roaches. Not sure if anyone else have had this problem but I’ve been consistently seeing 3 different types of bugs in my apartment, one being roaches. I’m starting to think there’s an infestation. There is absolutely no reason that I have to live with bugs. There is absolutely no reason for me to kill 5+ bugs A DAY in my apartment. My husband has been to the leasing office twice and the only thing they tell him is “put your name on the list”. I’ve called and left a message to have someone in the leasing office call me back in regards to this issue and no one has returned my call. I’m beyond frustrated and there needs to be a resolution ASAP.

Ive lived in multiple apartment communities, and this one has been the best.The unit itself is very nice with new appliances and great looking cabinets and counter tops. The maintenance staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast.The ladies in the front office are incredible, theyre always very sweet and accommodating. This is a great community led by and maintained by great people.

Have lived at this location for over a year and have enjoyed everything so far. The office staff Tammy and Tiffany are pleasant and friendly. The property stays maintained.

The outdoor living facilities are awesome and a really cool place to chill after work and watch sports or just relax after a long day. The office staff is very professional and always there to assist me with anything I may need help with. I also really appreciate how the grounds and pools are always kept nice and clean. I have lived in a few other complexes across the southern US, this one is by far my favorite! The office ladies are pretty as well:)

We have lived here for 2 years and the property is very well maintained. They have two pools, a gym, and tanning bed and its always kept up and clean. Kelly and her staff are very friendly and always willing to help and answer any questions we might have. Any time we have requested maintenance they have always showed up on a timely matter.

Great place to live!!! Spacious floor plan. Amenities on sight. Jennifer and Natalie will take great care of you! I absolutely love Highpointe!!!

My experience here has been so far superb. This is a great place to reside, and the crew is awesome. I recommend this complex above all other apartment complexes in the area.

This has been a pleasant apartment rental experience accept for a few small hiccups that were addressed quickly.. the only issue that Ive had so far is cleanliness of the grounds in Highpointe II..but thats due to residents, kids, and visitors throwing trash on the grounds or in the walkways of the apartments.. if management could hire someone to do that particular job, it would be awesome!

This is a beautiful apartment complex with updated living spaces. They pool area is SUPER nice. Christy and the folks working the front office are really great. They get things done very quickly if you need anything done. They are professional, helpful, and always courteous. I would give it 4 stars based just on these things, however there is a contingent of less than desirable renters, still located in the apartment complex (despite the recently increased per month rent). Building G seems to be where most of them congregate / live, and they are loud.I swear, one kid drives an old Ford Ranger that sounds like a pulp wood truck, and he idles / revs it up at 11:00 pm. Its a damn circus morning, noon, and night. Then there is the motorcycle revving up periodically, and what seems like constant yelling & talking outside from 10:00 pm to midnight.I dont mind kids. Ive got them. But these kids just dont know how to act.IT IS LOUD. IT IS OBNOXIOUS.And dont even think about working nights and sleeping in the daytime here.

I had an amazing experience today (May 7th) at Highpointe thanks to the super helpful and friendly staff especially Lisa!! Im going to be moving from Kansas to MS as well as work at UMMC. Highpointe and Lisa made it an easy decision as well as made me fall in love with the place the moment i pulled in with the beautiful landscaping, you can tell they take pride in their property!Inside the apartment they have beautiful wood floors, dark cabinets, high ceilings & lots of space! The residents were also super friendly and sweet as i was touring they even said “this place is awesome you should definitely live here!” I’ve looked at 20 plus apartments in the past 3 days and Like I said this place sold me! I look forward to this being my future home. Thank you again to all the staff :) ❤️

These are beautiful. Well maintained and in a great location. Lots of units, but only two stories per building. Lots of ammenities.

Don’t expect much from front office. Even all payments have to be made online via auto pay. We have lived here 8 months and have been complaining about a trashy neighbor (collects cats on her patio and trashy items covering her patio and flowerbed) for 7 months. We, and any guests we would invite if we actually wanted people to come here, have to walk by this to get to our almost $1300 a month apartment. Yet we regularly receive email reminders on patio policy. Can not wait until our lease expires in October!

These apartments are the worst place ever the rent is crazy and the pool bathrooms are nasty and the people in the front don’t welcome u they are mean they are always cutting off the water the drink machines take ur money there are bugs and the pools aren’t always opened and the pools are always clean either u have to keep getting things fixed... glad I don’t live there no more.

It would be a great place to live if you could ever be sure that you would have water. But they have failed to get the water fixed over the course of at least a year. I like this place, but its unsanitary to only have water sometimes. We dont pay this much money to not know whether well have water or not.If I had known about this problem prior to moving in, I would have went somewhere else.

Excellent staff, updated modern ammenities, conveniently located to shopping and dining favorites. Reasoably priced.

Very bad and a unsatisfying experience living there. Requested a new dishwasher in new re modeled apartment for over a year and nevered replaced it. Had water leakes and disputes over the water bill constantly. Took over a year to replace a water meter because $200/mo water bill. Air conditioning froze up once a month and one room stayed hot and uncomfortable year around. 5⭐️star price and 1⭐️ star community.
