I appreciated Alans quickness in coming to fix our furnace. We were relieved when he was able to come early to fix the furnace. He got us into the right price point on our new furnace and air conditioner. James and Travis did a great job on the installation and were very polite, clean and quiet. Overall excellent service. Brittany did a great job scheduling and handling the paperwork as well.

I was praying hard when I found my basement flooded. I am so thankful that God answered my prayers and we found Golden Rule Service. Five stars for Golden Rule Service all the way. Im new to town and their service man taught me so much about our plumbing system and the area. He didnt rush through the job and took time to make sure things were fixed right. I was also impressed with how quickly they responded to my call at almost midnight on a Saturday for a burst water pipe flooding the basement. Stop looking for a contractor and choose these guys. You wont regret it.

Alan is the most professional person Ive ever had in my home. He was early to the appointment and worked very efficiently to get our hot water heater back up and running quickly. We have had Golden Rule out to fix our furnace, replace the water heater and install a new kitchen faucet. Everyone we have worked with was very polite, friendly, clean and when they worked the didn’t make a mess. They did a very good job and came twice for emergencies after 5 pm. The furnace they fixed on New Year’s Day. I would highly recommend them!

Five Stars! Alan came out to replace our toilet and was very polite, fast, courteous and professional. Even the clothes he wore were above and beyond what we expected. There was no plumber ass hanging out of his pants and every other plumber we have used came in dirty, greasy and grimy. Alan was in a clean crisp uniform and he worked so fast which we appreciated since so many companies still charge by the hour. Golden Rule did not charge by the hour though. They charge a little bit more than the other companies, but it is worth it for our family. Thank you again for getting our toilet up and running so quickly!

Travis and Alan visited with me about my water heater today. They were very informative and helpful. My water heater has a date on it from 2001 but I paid another plumbing company in Sioux Falls over $2000 to install it in 2006, which means they installed a used water heater!!! I also had a bad experience with Rogers plumbing and heating because they couldnt figure out how to fix it and after two visits from them a friend on Facebook recommended Golden Rule. I couldnt be happier with their company.

Prompt service, super professional, always courteous, always thorough on what was done and the billing; we got updates on a part that needed to be ordered for our furnace, and then when it came in we had more prompt service having it installed. I absolutely recommend them!!!!!!!!

Travis and Alan did a great job cleaning out our main sewer line. Last year Roto Rooter charged us $350 to clean out the sewer and Golden Rule only charged us $93 plus tax. We also signed up for the total care club.

Alan with Golden Rule Service came out on a Sunday when it was zero degrees to fix our heater. He was on time and got it up and runnin quickly. We will definitely call them again.

Alan was EXCELLENT. He was very fast, professional and saved the day for my family. We had an emergency pipe burst and no one else could get us in today because they were “too busy” to come out “for a small leak”. Bottom line... the other companies in town are ASS HOLES. One of the other companies in town was going to charge me $109 just to show up and said they still wouldn’t be able to fix it until Tuesday! Golden Rule came same day and fixed it within an hour for a very reasonable price. From now on I’m calling Golden Rule!! ALAN’S THE BOMB!!

Ive never had as good of an experience as I had with Golden Rule Service. I called at 5 am on the morning of the blizzard and they got right out within an hour and had a new Trane furnace installed and running by lunch time same day. I highly recommend them!

Golden Rule Service installed a new Trane heating and cooling system with all of the bells and whistles for us and we love it! They were very responsive and helpful from day one with answering all of our questions and after talking with multiple companies we decided to move forward with their estimate even though it was a little bit higher than some of the other bids we had gotten. The new system is much quieter and a lot more efficient. They also installed a Trane CleanEffects and Air Scrubber and the air quality is also substantially better. My husband and I would highly recommend Alan and Golden Rule Service.

If there was a possibility for negitive stars it would apply here. While Alan seems to be a friendly person be warned. Not only did he disrespect my home by tracking waste water through out my home, he quoted me over $3,000 for work that i do not need. I called for a service call to have my main line snaked out. He never snaked my drain and instead spent 20 minutes pressuring me to apply on their website for financing and when that didnt work he told me to aplly for a loan from my bank. I have since called another service and not only did they clear the clog they repaired the small crack that was in one of the pipes. The total was less than $300. I called the office and they stand by their man. Look elsewhere these people are charlatans.

Im happy with the service we received from Alan at Golden Rule. When our furnace broke down they arrived within thirty minutes and had it up and running in no time. Alan did a great job and is a real asset to your company.

We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by another company in town this past fall so I was not happy when I woke up to find that my house was 45 degrees on one of the colder days of the year. Of course the company that installed the system didn’t answer the phone when I called them and no one else in town wanted to come help my family since they didn’t install the furnace. When I called Golden Rule I talked to Alan and explained to him that my furnace was out and I needed it running because I have children at home and the temperature in the house keeps dropping. He was very understanding and he said he could be out within an hour. It turns out the igniter went out on my one year old furnace and it was about $300 to fix plus the service fee. Almost $500 altogether. Golden Rule is expensive but after the experience we had with other companies in town and the care shown by Alan and his company, I will never use anyone else for our plumbing or HVAC needs. It is hard to find good service, especially in an emergency on a Sunday, but I am glad I found Golden Rule.
