I have been coming to Roger for over 12 years. Love the conversations, great music and Roger has a fanatical attention to detail. I always get a wonderful cut and it last longer than any other haircut I ever had. My wife loves the cut I get and tells me to make sure I book with roger. I have difficult curly hair and somehow he is able to make it look even and it grows out looking like it was just cut weeks later.Roger, your the best. Thank you.

Best Barber in Boulder! He has been cutting my hair for the past two years and does a fantastic job. I am a person who has to have a good haircut or I look like a goon and Roger does an excellent, detailed oriented job every time. He is also a pleasure to talk with and is very knowledgeable on many topics. His haircuts are worth every penny and then some. Would highly recommend!

Simply the best quality cut there is.

Roger does not cut hair... He makes art on your head. You’ll have a good enough hair cut in the first 15 minutes you’re there, then Roger will spend the next 45 minutes fine tuning his creation. Even if i didn’t think Roger was the best barber in boulder (which I do), i’d still go back for the entertainment of watching Roger do his craft.

I absolutely love Roger! He does a great job and is very detail oriented. I also appreciate how sensitive to fragrance he is because I am as well.

Saw Roger yesterday at his new(ish) North Boulder location, and had a great experience. As always the cut was clean and professional, Roger the Barber is much better than many of the other barbers in Boulder that Ive experienced.The new space is wonderful too, combining plenty of natural light with the wonderful vibe of Rogers eclectic (maybe Im using that wrong?) choice in music.I highly recommend scheduling with Roger to see what a great barbershop experience is all about.

A haircut from Roger is more than just a superb tonsorial experience. It is a cultural and intellectual delight connecting with a very sensitive and interesting person who has had a wealth of experience that damn sure beats hearing some usual barber talk about the effing Broncos or some such drivel. I would rank most barbershop experiences somewhere between a root canal and a colonoscopy, while a hair appointment with Roger is a fun experience I look forward to every time. I have actually tried talking my hair into growing faster so I could get cuts more often. You get a top drawer haircut from a true professional and so much more!

The haircut was OK, but perhaps I caught Roger on a bad day - He could definitely improve his bedside manner with first time customers. The conversation skewed wildly to the negative and I even got a couple cuts from the trimmers (Ive never seen that happen!).Bottom line: You can find a better price and experience elsewhere!

Roger is, simply put, the best! I am always happy with my cut and.. so is my wife (the ultimate judge).

This guy was great! He gave me an amazing cut, neck shave, told me about local places to try out (Im new) and played a bunch of Beatles tunes which all had a story behind them....I learned a bunch, and I appreciated the old school barbering style which requires good conversation as well as a good cut. Ill be a regular.
