This was my first time at Clipperz. Char did a great job on my haircut. She listened carefully to what I wanted and did exactly that. She is friendly and has a great sense of humour. Will definitely go back.

Before covid, super easy walk in service, for men or women with short hair. After covid, simple online appointments, small but ample space with 2-4 people, quick in and out. Friendly, good cuts.

Women expect nothing more then a trim.I was scheduled for a “women’s hair cut” through their website only to find out, after driving half an hour and waiting out side the store, they only cut men’s hair... their website made no mention of them ONLY working on men’s hair. They even had a women’s hair cut option on their website. Audrey justified their actions because the store name is a play on words... Clipperz needs to update their website so other women are not disappointed if they come to the store and are turned away.* update* apparently the store does do women’s hair cut only if it’s an “easy trim.” Nothing else, and not even an frame haircut. The store should mention that they only do women’s hair cut IF it’s a trim. And not to expect any more.Audrey tried to help by giving me a card for someone else in the complex, but that’s about it.

Hands down one of the worst haircuts I have ever received. My friends were actually laughing when I showed them how absurd it had turned out. The worst part was that I went here to save money, but ended up having to get an expensive haircut after this, since I needed someone with skills who would be able to see what was going on and how to fix it. My advice: stay away!

I was so excited to discover that Audrey and Mel have started their own local independent hair salon! I have been a huge fan of Audreys haircuts since I first met her, when she worked at Everyones Hair at Baseline & Broadway... shes so sweet and so talented! I was in and out of their new studio in 15 minutes with a cute new haircut. Yelp says their pricing is moderate, but its extremely affordable... about half the cost of other stylists in the area. And they do great work with both mens and womens haircuts (my husband and I both go to Audrey)! They listen to what you want, ask clarifying questions, and elicit your ongoing feedback on length and style so they can get it just the way you want.The Clipperz salon is part of a larger group of beauty shops that just opened up in the Meadows on the Parkway Shopping Center (south of Williams Village, by Safeway). Parking is great (which is a serious advantage over many other salons in Boulder). The storefront to the beauty shop mall says something like Phenix Salon Suites; once you walk in, turn right at the waterfall, and the Clipperz shop is the one at the end of the hallway. Be prepared for a big friendly hello when you walk in :)Pros:- Get a cute, affordable, fast haircut- Support two wonderful ladies in their new local business- No harsh chemical products that accompany many bigger salons- Clean and sparkly-new interior- Walk-ins welcome- Close to Sprouts, Safeway, Will VillCons:- None.

Friendly staff, cheap for the area, and have always done a great job. Highly recommended.
