Great experience, great haircut, great staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean haircut.
Beautiful shop, and nice conversation. Thats a killer haircut man - George, my coworker
How rude Brody Bitterhouse... that “Asian Lady” is Jenny. She’s cut my hair for two years. She’s also trimmed my beard from time to time. She’s an absolutely delightful person to be around. She has kept my hair exactly how I want it to be done. She’s also given me tips on “hair care”. Thanks Jenny!! | $30 hair cut. $10 beard trim b/c you can’t do it yourself. Ha!
The experience I had here one of the best, if not the best barber experiences Ive ever had. The environment of Alpine Barbers is so nice and welcoming. It felt like I became with the barbers as soon as I walked in. My barber was Jenny and she was amazing. Got my haircut and bearded trimmed by her and I have no complaints. I can without a doubt say that Alpine Barbers is my go to barber from here on out.
What a cool little shop, sounds like its been open for ever and has lots of history. It however was a disappointment to get home and have to trim up my beard more after paying for a trim with my haircut. The gentleman Charlie was super nice and friendly to chat with, but sadly I wasnt super thrilled with the cut.
Ive been getting my hair cut here for quite a while. Jenny has been my go-to barber for many years. This is an old school barber shop, which I greatly enjoy. Fair prices, fast and straightforward.
Got spot for a simple hair cut by talent barbers ... They really know how to fit hair to a head!
Just what I was searching for. An old fashioned walk in barber shop. The oldest one in Boulder actually.
My mother has been a stylist for 40+ years, now. Its great when I can get a free $60 cut from her, but when she lives hundreds of miles away, that value proposition turns upside-down. Its always a challenge finding a good cut for a good value and I found it at Alpine Barbers; Mo is my barber of choice, here, but I have had decent cuts from 3 barbers in this shop and confidently recommend them.Wish they had their hours posted on the google and/or on a pre-recorded message... Too lazy to figure that out and post details, here, this morning. :)
Called in this morning and asked if they could trim my beard and shave my neck. Guy on the phone said yes. Went in 10 minutes later and stood there awkwardly while they looked at me and didn’t even tell me what to do. Finally some Asian lady said I could sit in her chair. She spoke slightly broken English and seemed confused by the concept of neck line and cheek line being done. She took my cheeks down a full inch and my neck line is lopsided and THEY DONT EVEN SHAVE NECKS LIKE THEY SAID ON THE PHONE. I now have a few patches of hair on my neck and going home to shave it... Pretty terrible job and service. I even asked about their no phone policy jokingly and barely received a response. Not a very happy environment.
A haircut happened and it was good.
Traditional mens barber. Nice people and great service.
Never had a bad experience in my entire life. This is where I had my first haircut ever, 1963 or 64, as a three-year-old. Buzz-cut while riding a horsey booster bench. Old time owners, Bob Ruble and Dick White in white, side-button smocks. Chainsmokers, wearing Brylcreem. The red-and-white-striped pole is still out front, though theres a new set of haircutters who have come in for several years, now. A haircut, a friendly conversation and on my way. Granted, my pate is more skin and less tresses than in my twenties, so you Samsons and Tarzans may want to move to other reviews of barber skill and results quality, instead of mine. Two or three parking spots in the strip mall lot are marked 20 minute only, right in front of the shop. You will never be forced to repark, while in a cue. Its a quick place to drop by and get your errand done. Bring cash, no cards taken. About $25. There is an ATM, on-site. But Id rather avoid the fee, so its a cash deal in practical terms. This is the iconic place I picture in my mind when I listen to the lyrics of The Beatles Penny Lane.(In Penny Lane the barber shaves another customer,We see the banker sitting waiting for a trim,And then the fireman rushes inFrom the pouring rain - very strange.)Its all about return visits and good service, so this place survives longer than other place on that row of stores.
Classic barber shop. They use scissors, multiple buzzers, and end with warm shaving cream and a straight-edge razor on the back of your neck.
Jenny is great! She pays attention to the details!
Love this place. Old school barbers.
Traditional barbers. Real nice folk.
Super nice and friendly! In and out in no time.
