I am getting married tomorrow and chose this spot last second after not liking the original barber I had last month. Hands down fantastic!! Gave him a brief explanation of what I wanted and he definitely made it happen, made it even better than I originally thought. Will be my only barber I go to now here in Boulder highly recommended. Also the music in the store rocks!

Hands down best hair cut Boulder has to offer and at a great price. He treats every haircut like a work of art and it is apparent that he takes great pride in his work. Appointment only, which is great- not having to worry about showing up and having to wait an hour for a haircut and instead walking in and going straight to the seat. Can’t say enough good things about this shop!

Super friendly and precise. Took his time and really made sure to give an amazing quality of cut. Was my first time going and the shop is nice and comfortable, he is timely and very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend and will continue going! What a great barber! A full relaxing shave (Im bald and shave my head) along with beard trim. This was the first time someone else shaved my head. What a treat! Julio is skilled in the art of shaving with a straight razor! If I lived in Boulder, I would treat myself to a J. Black shave and trim regularly! Thanks, Julio!

My 13-year-old son had outgrown Great Clips and I was researching local barbers. Add to that his curly hair has an ethnic texture to it. My son got out of the chair with a HUGE smile on his face. I love, love, love his haircut. Call me crazy, but to me he seemed to walk out an inch taller and more confident. What more could a mom want. We will be back.

Outstanding service. He kept his shop open for an extra 1.5 hours on a last minute notice to give my brother and I haircuts. Best haircut I have ever had. He is creative and is really good at fading and styling. He enjoys what he does: You can tell by the way he focuses on cutting your hair. Much more affordable than other barbers. It is best to call ahead and make an appointment with him, so you wont have to wait upon your arrival. We will be back.

My teenage son has unruly thick hair that grows quickly. Wed given up on trying to find a detail-oriented and skilled barber in Boulder. Well all that changed. My son just walked in the front door from his first appointment with Julio. Dang. Amazing job. I cant stop looking at this haircut. Perfection! And for such a reasonable price. On a final note, my son hates product and hes lazy as far as styling his hair goes. Julio totally saw all that and gave my son a hair cut that will work for him but still look great.

This was one of the best cuts Ive had. He squeezed me in before another appointment and I expected a quick 15 minute cut. No way. He spent almost 30 minutes getting every little detail perfect, even though the cut was pretty basic to start. Used every tool in the bag and came out perfect with no stray hairs anywhere. Hes the same price if not cheaper than Sport Clips but the quality is miles above. Place is a little tough to find, but worth it.

This barbershop is on POINT! The owner fit me in as a walk-in between two appointments. The prices are reasonable and its one of the best haircuts Ive had, period. I will definitely set up a reoccurring appointment with this guy. Oh yeah, and there is 1 barber (the owner) so you know your haircuts will be consistent and good. RAD PLACE!

Good experience. Haircut came out great, dude did everything I asked. Was pretty on point about the whole cut. Would have preferred a hand shaped beard line instead of the stencil thing, but overall I was very please. Great price too for a Mens cut and beard trim!
