I moved to uptown broadway in January and have really loved it. The apartment is nice, has a new kitchen and a really spacious patio, everything is always clean around the property and maintenance (John) is amazing. Weve had several minor maintenance issues and he has always been prompt and extremely pleasant in fixing these right away. I love the new courtyards that were just put in and look forward to using the grill and fire pit in the summer. The location is also perfect. Very close to bike trails and single track as well as grocery stores and restaurants. North Boulder turned out to be the perfect location for us because it feels like there is more open space all while being 5-10 minutes from every amenity. Really recommend this place!!

Stayed here with some friends on a trip into town, super nice place! All of the buildings layouts made sense, and were clearly labeled (which is a blessing with apartments if you’ve ever lived in one). The location was great, I took public transportation around while I was there and it would pick me up and drop me back off right in front of the complex. The room that my friends were In had a cozy little fire place and high vaulted ceilings, not huge but a perfect amount of space for the two of them and their pup. Leasing staff seemed very friendly as while I was there they hosted a trivia night via zoom for all the tenants to hop in on. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back, hopefully next time the world will be a little more open and we can get out more

Somewhere I can finally call home. I have been coming back to Boulder for the last 3 summers in a row. I have stayed in multiple Airbnbs to apartments around Boulder. After signing a 6 month lease I plan to stay permeant here. The location is ideally perfect. Youre in Boulder but on the outskirts. There is incredible coffee within walking distance. Bike shops ect. You can hop on a bike and be out of town within minutes because we are at the base of the foot hills. There is multiple run paths that link up to some beautiful trails. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I have been living at uptown for a year now. We moved from GA and the previous Uptown manager was very helpful with our moving in process.We didn’t know anybody here in Boulder so we attended all the Uptown apt events like food trucks night, bingo game night, smores night and so on. We met many nice uptown neighbors and dogs.One month later, my car that parked in the gated, locked apartment garage had its license tag stolen by one of the subsidized housing tenants (police and the leasing office confirmed this, towed that car, and gave our plate back) There are several of these subsidized units at Uptown and the leasing office claims they are not permitted to deal with them directly, but they are allowed to share the supposedly secure garage.We have had ceiling water leaking issues several times, nearly every time there is a heavy rain. Uptown has had six different maintenance personnel within a single year. Two different contractors tried to fix the leaking but after repeated failures and renewed leaking, we eventually gave up reporting it.During this January-March, roofing construction was constant and it was loud and noisy since our apt spans the top floors. I had to see a big construction vehicle right outside of my window every morning. It did entertain my dog though.During the Covid-19 stay-at- home order, my car (again in the supposedly secure garage) was entered and I filed a police report. Several other residents posted about similar incidents, some even after the apt finally installed cameras in the garage.While everybody was told to be extra careful with social distancing, Uptown had to inspect the water heater pipes because several were damaged during the roofing construction. Our unit was one of them and the damaged pipes can cause leaking carbon monoxide so maintenance was in and out of our apt for weeks to fix while I had to be on conference calls or the meetings while working from home.Right at this moment, Uptown is renovating the court yards. It is so loud and noisy. Buildings are shaking hard and the leasing office told us to move our cars from the garage due to possible damage because of the construction. We pay for the parking in the garage for extreme weather conditions (snow, heat, hail) but we cannot park in the garage during the day time. Their tentative schedule for this renovation will be until September but it could be longer like any other construction.Since we moved in, there has been ceaseless construction work either near by the condos or Uptown apt itself.I have a marijuana smoking neighbor who causes the shared hallway to reek, even though it is a breach of the rental contract to smoke (anything) inside the apt. Reports to the leasing office are not helpful. There are a startling number of smokers living here and I smell strong marijuana and tobacco stench constantly while walking anywhere.Yes, the location is great and people are really nice.In light of all of this, the rapid turnaround of residents here is unsurprising. So far all the residents that I met when I moved in a year ago have moved out (with the exception of some very sweet seniors … and the omnipresent subsidized housing program residents).We choose this Uptown Broadway apt based on the reviews and location from GA. I would have looked at other options if there were any reviews that mentioned any of these issues.

Quick summary: If you put your tenants through a noisy construction project during a pandemic the least you can do is cut them some slack on move-out charges. I only posted this review since they handled our move-out poorly.They began a 2+ month construction project only a few weeks after we moved-in which would have been fine if we were informed before signing. The courtyard and gym were not accessible to us for most of our lease term. Once we moved out they charged us $150 for cleaning but failed to inform us for over a month. 5 weeks later, we still havent received even a portion of our deposit back.Update: They are now returning our entire deposit but not because they care but because they made an error. So I will not be removing this review.

I’ve lived here five years and our new maintenance manager, John Ritz, has been incredibly proactive and considerate about the property. John has gone out of his way to make sure the condos are fully functional. John has been really helpful and reactive in our needs. Great job John!

I love living in this apartment complex! The North Boulder area is gorgeous and quiet. My apartment is lovely, as it has two floors, making it feel more like a house than apartment. The other residents are friendly, and I really feel a sense of community here. The staff is kind and extremely helpful. Maintenance is phenomenal, probably the best Ive had while living in Boulder.

I would like to say, I love Uptown Broadway! I appreciate the upfront and helpful manner in which the office staff quickly addresses issues. They do (imho) their best to accommodate their clientele. Their maintenance person is always upbeat and very helpful!!!

Great apartments. Love the staff, extremely helpful. They went out of their way to assist when I bought a house and was looking for a lease takeover. You can tell they truly care about the people who live here.

We loved Uptown Boulder. Really nice units, responsive friendly staff and fantastic location. The perfect combination of all that Boulder has to offer. Great neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants, short drive to downtown and beautiful open space all around. Our only regret is we didnt have the opportunity to stay longer, I highly recommend the Uptown. My job keeps me moving a lot but next time my destination is Boulder I hope Uptown has availability!

Have lived here for two months so far, and I’ve loved every minute of it. The location is great with a nice view of the mountains and only a short bike or car ride to campus or the downtown area. There isn’t a ton of stuff in Boulder itself, but it’s about a twenty minute drive from some cities with more amenities and about 30-40 from Denver. The previous place I lived at had a very awkwardly located parking garage that was always a pain to get into and the door was barely big enough for a mid-size suv. The garage door here is twice as big and easy to get into. Both of the courtyards are currently being renovated, which may be an inconvenience now, but I’m all for the upgrades once it’s finished. I’m looking forward to being here for a while!

(Amended from our previous 1-star review)Since our last review, weve seen a marked improvement in responsiveness and communication around maintenance requests (they were extremely short-staffed and backed-up due to covid-19). John, the maintenance person, is awesome, and works hard to make sure everyones maintenance needs are met as quickly as possible. At times, it still feels like he could use a second person, however. In general, communication has been better as it seems like everyone has worked out the kinks of working remotely, etc.Were still soured by the way the ongoing construction project has gone, but overall, we feel comfortable recommending Uptown Broadway as a good option for housing in Boulder once again.

UPDATED to address Uptown Broadways response. While it has been decided recently that Thistle should manage the building exteriors (this happened a week ago or so--after I wrote my initial review), Uptown Broadway has been responsible for all building exterior repairs since I moved here in 2012. I have extensive documentation of this, including reports of repair attempts from Uptown Broadway staff. During the YEARS for which Uptown Broadway acknowledged and accepted responsibility for the roof, my apartment has not been weatherproof. Im glad someone else is handling the repair now. Maybe it will finally be done properly. Your reply below demonstrates a glaring lack of accountability and integrity, and it is highly inappropriate for you to request that I remove my review or shift the blame to a different party.I love everything about living here except the building maintenance. I moved here in 2012 and have had an ongoing roof leak issue from the get-go. Every time we get a big snow storm, I find water coming into my bedroom. Twice this month alone, even after they supposedly had a roofing company fix the issue. They always say its been repaired, and it always comes right back. Photos of what my bedroom has looked like for the past month are attached.The staff are fine, we LOVE the location and our apartment, and we would like to live in a weatherproof home. :/

I recently visited my daughters apartment at Uptown Broadway Boulder. I received the full excited listing of all the amenities that are available for her use. The complex location is wonderful, close enough to downtown Boulder to be very convenient without being in the middle of some of the activities that can be characterized as being Boulder. The surrounding restaurants are exceptional and conveniently within waking distance. Her apartment layout was well organized and allows for her to individualize her space.A short walk around the complex was sufficient for me to see that the facilities are well maintained and efficiently managed. My understanding is that the Community Management team is customer oriented, listening to customer input, and concerns with appropriate follow through.I plan on visiting my daughter often and I find that the street parking situation is very convenient. Unlike her previous apartment complex where there was a constant threat of being towed, which made visiting cumbersome and worrisome.I am envious of my daughters apartment situation. If I were 35 years younger, I would have loved to live at Uptown Broadway. Kudos to the Community Management team.

Uptown Broadway is a conveniently located and excellently managed property in North Boulder. The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive. Ive lived here for almost 5 months and the few maintenance requests Ive submitted have been handled quickly and completely (the maintenance staff is genuinely really great). The public spaces are kept clean and I never hear noise from neighbors. If youre looking for a place in North Boulder you have to check out Uptown Broadway.

Specifically chose this neighborhood for safety. I had issues when I previously lived in Denver. From maintenance to the office, customer service is exceptional. Moving out for financial reasons, but would continue to stay if I could.

Wonderful staff and environment. Spacious living accommodations with ease of access to leisurely options around the complex. Wonderful location within the city and an easy commute to and from my job. I have nothing but good things to say about this complex. Uptown Broadway five stars all the way.

I am moving from the Northern California area, and decided to check out Uptown Broadway Boulders community. The leasing team was extremely helpful, and was willing to work diligently with me to suit my desired needs. Also, it was reassuring to see that they were knowledgable about North Boulder, and passionate about the community. Highly recommend visiting Uptown if you are in the process of apartment searching!

Been here about 3 months and I am really impressed with the new management. The property is gorgeous and I like that the gym is being redone. Talking with other residents, I am really happy that I moved in after management had changed since they seem more willing to listen and make changes that everyone wants. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Moved here about a month ago and love it so far! Very nice and comfortable apartment with plenty of space. Pretty inexpensive in comparison to other apartments in the area. Great location if youre looking for a little quieter neighborhood, with plenty of options to checkout beautiful boulder right down the road.Leah Sugai, who helped me find my apartment, was very informative and knowledgeable about the apartment. She was also very comfortable to talk to, and wasnt trying to force the sale on me, like other leasing agents have been known to do.I can see myself being here for awhile!

I went over to visit my son and the place is beautiful. The apartments are very spacious and have great amenities. I give it 5 stars for being clean and pleasant and most of all the staff there was very nice. Nice,and comfortable apartments. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.😃

Dropped in today to check out a few available floor plans. Regan was helpful, awesome and answered everything from A to Z also showed me 3 different units.This location may not be close (if you bike or walk) to the heart of Boulder but offers some great alternatives for the price. It reminds me a little bit of the apartments around Union Station in Denver which are also nice.Looking forward to moving in in the next few months.

I visited a family member who lived there and I loved these apartments. The kitchen has nice appliances and the rooms are very spacious. Maintenance does a great job at keeping the property in great condition. I would definitely recommend these apartments!

I have loved living here this past year. My floor plan was incredible and seemed a lot bigger that 619 square feet. The only thing I would change would be the closet doors to be able to fold so a person can see the whole closet at once and to maybe get rid of the carpet in the bedroom.I did not have any maintenance requests until my last month or two when my smoke alarm ran out of batteries. It was too high for me to get to even with my ladder. Juan was wonderful and drove out to fix it right away with no complaint. Again when the garage door got stuck he came out immediately on the weekend and stayed until it was fixed. I am sad to leave but the rent was raised and became too high for me. I am happy I got a chance to live here.

This is a wonderful property! Very neat and clean. On my tour I met the maintenance supervisor and he was very respectful and friendly. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Great property right at the bottom of the foothills with amazing views of the Flat Irons! Modern interiors, great walkability to coffee shops and restaurants. Love the new management team as well! I definitely recommend to anyone looking to live in Boulder, but looking to be outside of the CU immediate area!

Uptown is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also maintenance is very responsive which also makes the stay that much more enjoyable. It was and is a great place to live!

The bad review are lies. this place was great. the staff was very helpful and the snow was always cleared. especially in Colorado where is melts completely by mid-day. I loved living at the Uptown Broadway apartments. Too bad i dont live in boulder anymore.

They lied about entering my apartment to do maintenance and actually brought in two people who were looking to rent it 4 months early. The front doors are incredibly insecure and there is no way to ever receive deliveries (as there is no doorbell outside the building and the fedex and UPS people dont have keys)... So forget Amazon shipments. When we moved in, the place was not cleaned and, in fact, the shower head wasnt even attached. Honestly not sure if this apartment is a front for something at this point...

I lived at these apartments for almost 2 years. I dont think I went a single month without a serious issue either in my apartment or within the community. I am basing this review purely on my experience with the current leasing company.Management:The new leasing company is trying their best to improve the community and so the one star in this review is for that effort.Location:In theory the location would be nice as it is almost separated from the rest of boulder. There is not much in North (north) Boulder, other than the park which is very nice. The community may have gates but that hasnt stopped countless homeless from digging around in the trash/walking around the community. Unfortunately, it takes significant time to get to and from main areas of boulder due to traffic and lights.Property:The place looks nice at a glance but is old and falling apart. Even after renovations, problems with old buildings are typical. Faulty wiring, bad plumbing, old washer/dryers that are hardly usable. The a/c in my unit was terrible and could not keep the place cooled below 80 degrees during the day despite having maintainace fix the problem. The garage doors malfunction regularly, often leaving you unable to take your car out of the garage, wouldnt be an issue if there was sufficient street parking.Living here:Dont ask me why I lived here for 2 years as it was a necessity for me and I hated the majority of my experience. The property is overpriced for the bad location, poor conditions, and lack of decent modern amenities. The tipping point of me moving was the new construction going on for the past month and a half to replace balconies. All day long from 730 to 5 the workers were grinding metal in the middle of the courtyard. The grinding in combination with the lack of actual cooling in my apartment made it unlivable during the day.

A maintenance guy broke into our apartment through our porch!!!!!!! Worst place to live if you have kids!!!. my neighbor called the cops on me because my daughter was throwing a fit. They dont like kids playing in the courtyard. For how much rent we pay here they should be able to afford a cleaning crew. When it snows they RARELY clean the pathways. The concrete is crumbling everywhere. We had property stolen in the garage, not to mention the parking spaces are for mini coopers. they are sooo small!!! its an alright neighborhood. The garage door broke and i couldnt get out to go to work. when i called the maintenance they had no number for the emergency maintenance, leaving me stuck with a cab bill from boulder to longmont.
