I’ve been living in GlenLake for the past 4 years and I have been please and satisfied. The one-bedroom apartments are fairly large compared to what other complexes offer in the area. The location is perfect, walking form the essentials and a 2 min drive to the Foothills highway. Management is super responsive, helpful and friendly! And maintenance is efficient and quick to respond. Very grateful for the last 4 years here!

In my time here I only had to call maintenance once and they were very quick and kind. The apartment itself was very nice and the neighbors were never bothersome. When I moved out I got a receipt telling me what they spent my security deposit on and a check for the rest. The rent is pretty high but I think the apartment is worth it

I lived here for 4 years, most of the time as a graduate student. Its an older building (although I believe some of the units are newly upgraded) but it was an affordable price by Boulder standards, and I was able to live there comfortably with minimal drama or disruption. It is a quiet community for the most part. I had a lot of packages delivered when I was away for the weekend, and nobody ever touched them. The office/maintenance employees were friendly and knew me by name. Maintenance was on site every weekday, and also came on the weekend the one time I had an issue on the weekend. The staff was kind and did their part to help residents when the COVID stuff was brewing up in early spring 2020.Finally, they actually returned more of my security deposit than I expected after 4 years living in the unit.Yeah its an apartment so its probably not your dream home, but its a solid and affordable place to live in Boulder.

We LOVED Glen Lake apartments! We lived there for over two years and had no major issues. The staff was super friendly and they are slowly starting to make improvements to the building. The pool is a great way to cool off in the summer and we really like how close it was to many Boulder attractions. The only reason we had to move was for a job relocation and if we moved back to the area we would definitely come back to Glen Lake.

Loved it, was sad to move (for a job). Maintenance was always super quick to respond, staff always gave advanced notice when they had to come in to the apartment. The remodeled units were beautiful, great price. Grounds and building were always cleaned and upkeep was great. One of my favorite places I have ever lived and will absolutely move there again if I live in Boulder.

Beautiful property and amazing staff! These people truly care about their residents. They are more than accommodating for me given that I have a service animal. The pool is sparkling clean and the grounds are well kept. Considering that this an older property, it is very nice!

I have been here for 4 years. Maintenance is quick but office staff are not the best to deal with. The apartments used to be affordable for a great location in North Boulder but there has been no significant improvements in the building. One of the staff members is extremely boisterous and is just not suited for her job.

Well they say there the pride of Boulder, in my opinion they need to go an extra mile in some cases, some say I might be a bit picky but I dont think Im that bad, in my book 3stars is a good review

Very disappointed with the leasing office at Glenlake and its always because of the person who sits at the front desk.Small queries like, asking about a package which was received 2 weeks (said it was held in the store room), or asking for a covered parking (been asking from 8 months, and I see two open right there), never gets through. Saying no is one thing, but talking back rudely for no reason and pushing me out the office, heard this from multiple tenants.Just not worth it, spoiling your morning by such rude behavior. 0 stars for the leasing office

The apartment is pretty nice. Plenty of closet space and mostly well kept. The management is less than desirable, specifically the property manger Beverly. She has no customer service skills and has been rude with every encounter. I originally leased with this apartment complex because the woman who showed me the place was so kind and friendly (I think her name was Jenn). But any difficulty Ive had, Ive had to deal with Beverly who is extremely defensive, wont take responsibility for anything, and has no empathy for others dealing with problems in the complex she runs.

The apartment I saw was a bit small for my taste. It was on the third floor though, so being on the balcony was like being in a treehouse.

It used to be inexpensive compared to newer apartments closer to central Boulder, but thats changing fast. The rent is raised aggressively every renewal period and the monthly utilities fees are going up suspiciously quickly as well. These apartment buildings are old and the units have tons of issues. Expect plumbing leaks, closet doors and cabinets falling apart, and extremely poor temperature control. There are also mice, ants and I have heard of neighbors finding cockroaches. The leasing office staff is always putting passive aggressive notes under everyones door blaming residents for the building issues and they will also come in at various times of year to inspect your apartment on very short notice.

A weird smell to the apartment corridors and apartment parking is limited too. Also, the master bedroom bathrooms in the 2 bed 2 bath apartment is a joke. There is hardly any place for a 6ft + person to use the bathroom.! The apartments are in a dire need of update.. as well as there is a very serious issue with roaches in the apartments. For positives the location is almost perfect for someone wanting to commute to north boulder or Longmont and still be in boulder. Very close to bus and grocery as well as some good eateries.

Been living at Glenlake for nearly 2 months now and I really have no complaints. The office staff is super friendly and always available to help if you need, and the rent is reasonable for Boulder. We moved here from NY and Jennifer and Beverly were very helpful with all of our questions and our move in. Apartment itself is very cozy and carpeted, with a lot of storage space in the hallways and kitchen. Only thing is that the apartment can get pretty cold, but to be fair we don’t put the heat on. The building we live in is so quiet it’s like no one lives there. It’s definitely a nice change from noisy overcrowded ny. There is always parking and an area to recycle if desired. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I’m very excited to start enjoying the outdoor pool come summer!

Nice property with pool and relatively low rent. My only complaint is how strict they are about what can be on your patio or viewable through your patio window.

The (always extremely rude!) office staff tried to tell me I was going to have to pay them every month until they rented my apartment again, even past my lease ending. They insisted I would be responsible for rent after my lease was up - until I had to have my lawyer send them a letter. Then it was “all a misunderstanding! Of course you wouldn’t have to pay past your lease!” Mhm yeah. don’t live here. It’s not worth the insane prices for the mediocre apartments and the rude RUDE office staff.I’ve heard them being nasty to the man who lived in my hall who had a disability, constantly harassing him about parking and other strange “complaints” about him that seemed to be totally unfounded. They forced me to hand in my move in check list the day I moved in, meaning I didn’t have any time to actually look at the apartment and find the things that were wrong with it before I had to check off that everything was in order. They obviously did this because after being there for 2 days my dishwasher broke, my drawer fell apart, my hot water stopped working. Following that, my apartment was never below 90 degrees even when it was 10 degrees outside and I had the heat completely shut off. They blamed me blasting the heat, even though I said the thermostat is ALWAYS all the way down, and so they refused to help. The buildings have a weird smell, and they “spray for bees” about twice a month, i.e. they spray toxic smelly stuff outside to your window every few weeks even though I’ve never seen a single bee even in the parking lot. They told me I couldn’t have my patio furniture because it wasn’t plastic, (it was wire and wood from ikea) and therefore was considered regular furniture which isn’t allowed on the patio....Do I need to keep going??? Pass on this place!!

Was gonna wait a while to post this review but feel like given the circumstances that I might as well post it now. Was not happy during my stay here at all the whole four months and thank God for military leave because this place was good aweful. The first sign that this place was less than desirable was the fact that most of my neighbors were very loud, played games all hours of the night, had parties at all hours of the night and then had the gall to write a complaint about me and my family saying that we were too loud. I had to get two different doctors notes for proof that I am indeed within my legal bounds to have both of my support pugs. Once when I was going to take them on a walk one of the office ladies was extremely rude and asked if I had a doctor note for both pugs and I gladly responded that yes I did. That was the last straw for me living here not only do they not respect people with disabilities but they have the gall to act like youre encroaching upon an apartment complex that you are over paying for by having your support animals with you.The apartment was cold no matter what setting I had placed it on, parking was hard to come by and the past ill say is the unsanitary conditions concerning the roaches. Management was constantly placing nasty letters underneath my door about various complaints they had but when it came to complaints we had we were haggled with and disrespected. Our water constantly ran hot and then cold and then hot, it was enough to have us have to take baths on a constant basis just to avoid being scorched and then frozen a second later. The last thing is the roach infestation. If you are wondering why they have an on call exterminator it is because of the roach infestation they are hiding from the tenants. I have heard from multiple people that roaches were in their unit and that it was causing a health problem. My roommate and I reported this to management and they acted like they had no clue and werent concerned. My last piece of rage that I will share is that after having cleaned the apartment and had Beverly comment on how good it looked I am still waiting for my deposit back and the office ladies are playing phone tag with me to avoid telling me when I am going to get my refund and how much it will be. Not happy in the slightest and very tempted to get my lawyer involved in this situation. P.s. take down my review I will gladly repost it as I have cut and paste and save all of my reviews just in case. If you dont want to live in third world roach conditions.. dont live here that is all.
