The apartments themselves are great. However, you cannot get a member of the staff to call you back if their lives depended on it. They have consistently double charged us for utilities and threaten to charge a late fee if not paid. I have called the office 7 times since I moved in 4 months ago and they have yet to return a single call. They also charge you monthly for landscaping damages, though at every other apartment those charges are included with rent. We anticipate having to bring them to court at our time of move out to get back our deposit and ensure we were charged fairly.
The management, especially Kimberly from the leasing office has been rude, condescending and incompetent to me and my wife ever since we moved to the apartment. Our heater was not working in February for close to three weeks, our trash did not get picked up even after repeated complaints, our car got soaking wet in the garage due to piping issues in the above apartment and all of this in just 4 months of living there.Ready to pay more and leave this apartment.
To start off Iv only been here a week so maybe things will change however Iv had some big problems already. First off my apartment was infested with bed bugs pre my arrival. Secondly, afterwards in the process of trying to figure out how to exterminate I was offered no alternative housing so i was left without a home.
I have lived here since October of 2019 and absolutely love it, Sarah, MiKayla, Kayla, Justin, and Mark are all Great! Great response to all inquiries. Grounds are kept nice, clean, snow shoveled, lawn is routinely mowed. If I wasnt buying a home I would definitely renew my lease. I have the 3 BR, 2BA a little over 1500 sq ft beautiful apt with plenty of space.Great job guys for all you do. The icing on the cake is your within walking distance to Safeway, UPS, Walgreens, Subway, 2 different banks, and many more. very convenient location, also less than 5 minutes to Table Mesa Park and Ride. So what are you waiting for pick up the phone and sign a lease. Be safe and stay healthy, thank you for all you do to make this a great living experience.😀
Lived there 2018 - 2019. They piled the snow onto my parking spot, so I couldnt park there when I came back. Then they towed my car away and asked me to pay. Also, they took 95% of my deposit even I left my apartment clean. $2000+ deposit and got $150 back, not sure what they did with my money. Just dont live there, so much hidden fee.
My husband and I really enjoy living here. We’ve been residents in this community since 2017 and since then have seen three different property owners. The newest company to take over, Pinnacle, has been the best so far. Sarah, the office manager, is very responsive and helpful. She’s quick to take care of any issues that come up. The maintenance guy, Mark, is great too. He came by recently (during COVID) for an emergency AC repair and was kind enough to tighten a few loose handles, even though technically it’s supposed to be emergencies only. The neighborhood is very quiet and family friendly, and within walking distance of Safeway and plenty of other shops and restaurants. The apartments are some of the largest you’ll find in Boulder for the price, they accept pets, and they’re stocked full of amenities like washer/dryer in-unit, balcony, central AC, fitness center, and pool. Great place to live for a young couple or someone looking for a safe and quiet community.
Good place to live, good management.
Great Place to live, older property and the remodels are nicely done, and the decks are huge! The new Pinnacle management with Sarah and Mark on board is such a welcome change, they really are invested in the property. So excited that the clubhouse is finally done, been waiting patiently and finally have a great place with the pools and clubhouse.
We rented site unseen due to the pandemic, and Sarah was helpful throughout the move-in process, taking us on a video tour of the unit and answering all the questions we had. She is responsive and quick to take care of maintenance issues.
We love it here!! From our initial reaction through getting settled after our move in, everything has been wonderful. The staff is very kind & quick to help. There are many exciting renovations happening within the community that will make it even more enjoyable. Highly suggest this place!!
WOW! Kayla and Max in the office were literally a God send to my daughter. We had a very bad leasing experience online and had a short time frame to find a 3 month lease. We were so overwhelmed and pleased by how professional, understanding and helpful they were to us. We were able to lease a cute studio apartment, perfect for my daughter for the summer in a short period of time. The maintenance staff was very accommodating to get the apartment ready for her move in within a few days. My husband and I were able to get her settled in and keep our original flight home to Florida. After having been in the leasing industry for over a decade nearly 30 years ago, it was so nice to see leasing professionals who were enthusiastic to help in our situation. What a wonderful management company, thank you for hiring great professionals! We look forward to visiting our daughter in August, but hate to have to move her out. Thank You!
I currently live at Henley and so far it has been a great experience. They are doing an entire clubhouse renovation that I am really looking forward to. The management company really cares about the residents- certainly plan to renew my lease!
Enjoyed the wonderful 2 years I spend at Henley and Remy! The office staff was kind and answered all the questions I ever had. The maintenance was wondful as well in fixing anything I ever needed done in a timely manner.
Great Apartment building. Staff is super friendly. The location is super convenient and quite. Best views in Boulder.
Leasing office always changes and no maintenance service team at all, only Tony as a handyman even hes good but hard for a single man to handle everything. The style and color were classic and beautiful; all neighbors confused that why they changed to a weird manner. Amenity and facility in the apartment are too old, so some of them is not working at all. The environment around is overall comfortable and convenient. I miss the first management team, that was the one primary reason why I move here.
My husband and I recently moved here from out of state, and I moved in without seeing the property at all. Most apartments put their best pictures on their website, however, at Henley and Remy, they are extremely accurate!! The property is beautiful and there is a great spot to walk your pup! The office and maintenance staff are so friendly and every (minor) issue weve had has been addressed immediately!! If I coukd give 6 stars, I would!!!
Jacob, one of the maintenance workers, is nothing short but reliable and fantastic. Not only is he competent in regards to repairs, but anytime my friends and I have had an issue with the apartment, Jacob is never to far away to help us out.Below is an add on to my initial post:I also want to say that Kayla is a fanatic person. Genuinely helpful, always on the ball, and is very competent. Every time I go to see Kayla, she is patient with me, and willing and able to answer any of my questions. Both Jacob and Kayla have definitely turn this place around, and it shows. Things look nicer, people seem more happier, and this is all due in part to the efforts of Kayla and Jacob.
I came by for a tour and had really positive experience. I am not looking to move until next year but I will be making Henley my top choice when I move to Boulder. Spacious floor plans and a friendly staff.
Great amenities, and an even more incredible staff. Paige was extremely helpful. Quite the upgrade from the Spanish Projects (Spanish Towers).
I have lived in these apartments for 1 year and things around here seemed to be going downhill. I wasnt very happy with what had transpired last year with all the changes to staff and lack of so much! BUT - there is a new manager here now, Nishan, and he has made significant changes to everything - new pet stations, maintenance, grounds, communication, keeping us informed, and willing to help with anything; he is doing a fantastic job! Also, Carmen in the office has been so helpful as well and I am happy she is here. After seeing how much things have improved - I have decided to stay. I really do like it here!
The staff is very nice and accommodating. I also am very excited to see how the property will look after the renovations coming!
Ignore any reviews from prior to March 2018. The new management has turned the complex around in a matter of months. Much needed maintenance, pet stations, and a renewed effort to communicate and work with tenants are some of the accomplishments. Nishan and Carmen are professional, dedicated, friendly, willing to work with tenants all while being overworked during the management transition. These excellent apartments in an ideal location finally have the management they deserve.
Prepare for tire repair if you are planning to move into this apartment. Since I moved there, I already found at least 6 nails on the ground and on my driveway. Actually I have to take my vehicles to tire shop 2 times because of these nails. These nails may from loose or broken construction materials because they are refurbishing clubhouse. Or maybe they have some kinds of interest relationship with towing company and throws these nails in purpose cause once you get a flat tire, your vehicle will be towed that includes the vehicle on your own driveway. Poor management for their waste materials and throw nails everywhere.
Sorry, I have to complain it again. But I am so happy I will move out one weeks later. Since I moved from 4545 Laguna pl. to 4595 Laguna place, constantly problems happen. I cannot image that a place always with water loss problem, and management always said because of a leak. But, could you repair it thoroughly???No matter how old is this apartment, but since Henley and Remy started manage this place, the living environment and experience getting worse and worse. Also, few weeks ago, our window was shoot by someone, although we do not have evidence of whom, but it seems like someone was trying to harm something in my home, and we reported it to management, and we want to call police to intervene it for our safety, but they do not agree. How ridiculous! When your resident face the safety problem, but you don’t want to take it seriously!Hence, based on series of problems here, I really do not advice to live here. Until they will make a lot change and give active attitude to residents.
The staff at Henley Apartment Homes, Nishan Kumaraperu and Carmen Martinez are great people to work with! They are always helpful and accommodating. The facility is very appealing since the outside has been repainted and the grounds have been maintained. We are all looking forward to the great things that are in store for us!The community is ideal as it is close to grocery stores, a bank, a drug store, and several restaurants; incredibly convenient location. It is a very friendly environment, with a wide variety of people. Things have changed for the better since the new staff has been here and things are finally getting done, quickly and efficiently.
They double charged us for our gas bill once Henley and remy took over management. They said they were going to fix this but then threatened to evict us after we made an agreement that we were going to pay our utility bill once the proper bill was drafted. We went through an entire year of trying to get them to replace things in our apartment that were supposed to be done prior to our move in, so we lived with broken cabinets and a dryer vent that was never properly installed. I echo the sentiments of all other one star reviews, and was appalled by their lack of professionalism. Although the staff was friendly, they obviously only cared about the bottom line of getting money from us and nothing else.
The straw that broke the camels back was when they threatened to evict us for not paying rent when we have been paying rent every month (and it shows in our bank accounts too). They ended up finding the check after looking for 10 minuets, honestly, I am willing to forgive the human error, but to threaten us with eviction when that fault was all yours? However, I do hate to end on a negative note. So, some positives: since the new management (Henley) took over, the property has been upgraded... kinda, they added another doggie bag station, the pool is better maintained (but still need to get out fob), the grass is actually mowed in certain areas, since the new management quite a few people seemed to have moved out so theres lots of parking available (even if you work until late like I do), and for the most part the property is well lit so you feel pretty safe.Overall, 1 star, it may seem harsh, but you tell me how you feel when your entire home is threatened because of lack of organization on their end.
They keep changing names, which says everything. Please dont rent here; maintenance guy is downright aggressive, and the office staff doesnt have your interests at heart at all. Mold everywhere and impossible to get anything repaired. A complete nightmare.
As our lease is coming close to the end, we notified the office that we wanted to renew our lease for another year in the beginning of April. The leasing agent at the office told us to wait for the preparation of the new lease and we did. Then in May, we came to the office to ask about any progress on the contract, the agent once again told us that he is waiting for his manager to confirm something and told us to wait and he will send the new contract through email to us to sign. A couple days ago when I came in the office and asked about this since nothing is happening, the leasing agent told me that they have put a notice of evacuation on our door which wanted us to move out of the apartment at the end of our previous lease for apartment renovation. After we had some discussion, she said she would give us two options if we want to stay in our apartment, which both are having a much higher rental price. And today when I got the voicemail from the agent at the office, she said” we need to know your decision and if you decide to move out, your apartment is available to lease online” which is contradictory to what they told me earlier that they kicked us out because they need to renovate the apartment!! It’s so ridiculous and unresponsible. They made us to wait instead of telling us that they will not renew our lease at first. Made us wasted time and we could have find another apartment if we knew this is gonna happen. Feel like everything they said was a lie.**UPDATE***After contacting the management team and they finally picked up the call, I’m so disappointed at the new management. They offered us two options on renewing the lease if we want to stay which the rents are much higher than what they had told us back in April. And they are blaming that to the agent that used to work in the office. The company just decided to kick us out at the end of our lease when we clearly notified them that we wanted to renew for another 12 months back in April. They could have prepared our new contract in April or May but instead delaying the process while someone of their management team “misled” (promised) us on the renewal. Hate to say that but I’m very upset with the result.
OMG!Disgusting place! Actually, I have lived here for 2 years when it has not change to the new management. Before new management, my boyfriend and I, we love this place and our townhouse. But, three months ago, because of renovation, we were asked to move to another one which near lobby. We thought it should be better with all new furnitures, but it isn’t. There are many broken furnitures here, even when we moved in, the smell not good. Many broken things here. The new management has terrible manage ability. The picture was took this morning. It has leak and there always has droplets. Excuse me??? Are u sure this apartment can let people live in?
Beautiful place! Great staff, especially Kayla!
If I could give them 0 stars I would. The heater didnt work for the whole winter and they didnt come to fix it until late June (while charging us every month $80 ave. of gas). The only thing new management company has done so far is painting the walls of the building (intead of fixing, for example, the entrance doors). DO NOT move there, its not worth the price, and some of the stuff are rude.
Great staff and close to my office
Love living here.
The previous reviews are misleading. The ice complaint was for Villa del Prado CONDOMINIUMS, not for VDP apartments. And mister Ellis was never a resident at the apartmentsNow under Alliance Residential.
Kicked us out to renovate the apartment. Suspicious timing as it was just after we left a bad review due to their overbearing and rude behavior.
Very helpful.
