The customer service was EVERYTHING this is definitely my new nail spa..Im so excited to go back in 3 weeks..I loved it ..I like simplicity when it comes to my gel full sets and she made simple look soo gorgeous

I love this place. They take walk-ins and every time I go, I have noticed that they take very detailed care of my nails (even when I get a different staff member) which is what I love the most. The staff is very nice, the place is clean, and they have a good selection of nail polish.

Best experience ever!!! Lynn was amazing, I felt comfortable and price was very reasonable. First time in Boston, Lynn made it very memorable. I enjoyed the experience very much.

I so rarely post but this was pretty terrible. I had never been here before but I was in need of a quick mani. I called and asked if they had a quick dry polish like dazzle dry, and although they didnt have that brand, she said they did have a quick dry polish. When I got there, it was obviously a lie - it was just OPI. She had some kind of top coat, but it definitely was not quick dry. In any case, I didnt have time to find another salon, so I just went with it. The mani was ok, but since I figured that Id be there for far longer than I had initially counted on, Id get eyebrow threading since it had been awhile. Big mistake!! Not only did she make my eyebrows crooked, uneven and jagged, she also was so unskilled that she made my skin bleed. Horrendous. Ill never go back and Id advise anyone not to go to this dishonest salon...and definitely do not use their eyebrow threading services. They get 2 stars for the manicure - it was ok.

I went as part of a large group of 10 girls. We had a great time! My nails look great, and we all had a wonderful time. The manager/owner? was very welcoming. The only slight issue I had was feeling a little rushed in my color choice, but that was understandable in a large group setting.

Lynn is wonderful! I’ve walked in on my own time and I’m seated immediately, they are very clean and their covid screening process is very efficient, I work in health care so I appreciate that they temp their customers and keep a log of who comes in, the time and their temperature. My nails always look beautiful, better than I anticipate each time! This is my go to salon!

I came in for a gel mani, regular pedi, along with a gel removal. Everything started off ok. Cute place, clean, modern. A little humid and warm, but ok. The issue began with the mani... every. single. nail. was filed at an angle, despite my request that she fix it and my tech AND another tech attempting to fix it. I gave up and left after she finished my cuticles... I didnt want to pay for sub par work and be stuck with crooked gels. We go to cash out--me with debris still on my nails, despite asking her to just buff my nails, no polish and no lotion--and she charges me $50!! A mani/pedi is listed at $45. Find another nail salon. So disappointed.

I had an old review on here & I wish it were still true. But I recently got a dip manicure & it was the worst I have gotten in a LONG time. I got them done on a Saturday, but Monday they had noticeable chips on 3 different nails (for comparison, some places I go last 2/3 weeks without any chips at all). I’m disappointed & wont be back despite the kind people & good service.

They were very friendly and it was a comfortable experience.

I had a feeling that my nails wouldnt last long, as the nail tech rushed through doing them, but I didnt expect them to start chipping after the 3rd day. Its been a little over a week now and theyre a complete mess. Also, be ready to be rushed picking your color and for an attitude for tipping according to the service received.

I love this place! Every time I go everyone is so nice and welcoming. Today, I went in to get my eyebrows done and the owner, Lauren, saw that my dip nails had a little chip on two of the nails (even though they still looked amazing after three weeks) and she fixed them for free! I highly recommend this place.

I paid $45 for a dip manicure - I would normally be fine with this but it wasn’t a manicure...no soaking or cleaning up my cuticles just simply filing and painting my nails...so disappointed because not only did it feel rushed, she stopped service 4 or 5 times to grab stuff for other customers or the other employees...and paint job was OK at best...wanted this place to work since it’s close to my office but sadly will not return to this salon.

Wonderful job! I do massage for a living. I dont wear shoes so I try to keep my feet nice. This place is great, Ill be back next time Im in town!

Best nail salon Ive been to in Boston for gel manicures. The quality is better than Mini Lux and some of the other more expensive salons. The color lasts long, and the technicians are incredibly detailed and always do a great job. The color is always evenly applied, nails shaped perfectly, and the place is very clean. Everyone who works there is really friendly as well and walk-ins are easy, I usually stop by after work and rarely have to wait due to the size of the place.

Worst dip experience ever - came here 2 weeks ago and they layered on the dip so thick that it was genuinely uncomfortable. I came back the next day and they filed it down (which I did appreciate) but it was still thicker than I would like. Also at this point my fingers were RAW from being aggressively filed 2 days in a row - I have small fingers and when they filed the surface of my nail they were also filing my skin.It has now been 2 weeks and 3 of my nails have peeled off - this last one in the picture just came off in the shower. Dip is definitely not worth it here.

Welcoming staff...Came in for a quick gel manicure. She quoted a reasonable price so I stayed. While sitting I observed the atmosphere and interactions with other patrons and decided on a second service. I accepted her price quote and I was satisfied with the 2nd service except as I exited I spotted a small pink menu at the door.... She overcharged me 20.00. And I tipped 10 MORE for eyelash extensions. Duped but I am to blame for not READING!Currently looking elsewhere for my refill but I really wanted to like this place.

Just moved to the area and I was looking for a place with a good reviews and I will 100% be back. It’s slightly pricey for what I am used to but you get what you pay for and it was definitely worth it. Great customer service and my nails look fabulous!!! If I could give 6 stars I would. ( I never write reviews but I was extremely happy with this salon. )

Looking for a place for a pedi in the area, walked in they were so attentive, and I was taken care of right away offered a drink, this is officially my go to place, they also did amazing work. And did not get frustrated when I asked questions.

Was told 1 price for a color change (for the toes), then when its time to pay, the total randomly was $3.00 higher...I inquired and told them that I was told a different price from the beginning. Then when paying, I had needed my change ($2). The woman I paid with asked me if I wanted to give it to the lady that did my toes (whose name I was never told) while still holding on to it.. . When it comes to business, the customer is to decide if he/she wants to give their change---its not up to the cashier to ask/ hold on to-- that is not their money. The cashier held on to it when it shouldve went right into my hands. And I still let her take the $2 tip when she really didnt deserve it...

I NEVER write reviews.I’ve been to South Street nails several times. If the nails last had been hit or miss- but it is close to my work.Most recently it took two hours to get my done. The next day they were peeling. Went in to have them fix my nails and I was immediately treated so rudely by the “manager”. Like I wanted to be there again after wasting two hours of my life.I waited for an hour for someone to do my nails. Several people were taken in front of me before I finally had to walk out.Three hours of my life wasted. To be treated like I didn’t pay $65 plus a $15 tip two days before.Everyone go to Cambridge nails. My nails always last.KOKO- open your open nail salon. People come just for you because you’re fab.

I love this nail salon. Everyone is very nice,attentive and well mannered. I never have to wait long, prices are great. I get mani,pedi and my eyebrows done once a month,and it has always been a great experience.

Maybe because we were the last customers. But the service was terrible. I recieved a manicure and pedicure....my feet barely was in the water and manicure was cold water. Everything was half a$% done. My husband enjoyed his mani and pedi.....maybe It was just the two ladies who worked on me that was terrible.

Overpriced for the quality of work.

I was unfortunately a little disappointed in the service and overall quality of the mani/pedi I received based on the many 5 star reviews. Granted, I came in the salon only an hour before closing, but I asked if there would be time for both a mani and pedi and was assured that there would be, since they could be done at the same time. The service still felt rushed with lack of detail resulting in a sloppy appearance. The staff was polite overall aside from a snarky comment in reference to me being the last customer there (this was still before closing time).

If you want your nails to be perfect (which I do!), come here.

Im pretty sure I have been to 95% of all nail salon in Boston, from the ultra cheep places that end up giving you toe fungus to the tres chic Newbury and South Boston spots which cost an arm and a leg... But this place is the best. Went in for a gel manicure regular pedi and not only did they treat me like a queen (I had two people scrubbing, massaging and painting me at the same time) but my nails look amazing. 10/10 would go back and recommend to others
