I’ve been going to La Belle for almost 2 years now and I have nothing but positive reviews. The team has always been on time and friendly. However, they do get quite busy so I would recommend booking an appointment ahead of time!It’s very hard to find a place that can do dip manicures well, and luckily I’ve been able to count on La Belle to pull through. My nails are always even, and my dip powder nails always look natural.10/10 recommended.

After getting a bad nail job in beacon hill, I found LaBelle and I couldn’t be happier! I really enjoyed my experience with Lilly and she gave me a cute and simple acrylic set and shaped my brows. The prices are decent as they are located in downtown Boston and I definitely will be coming back!

I went for the first time today as I am having cancer treatment at tufts hospital around the corner. Just walked in and they saw me immediately. Was lucky because a few minutes later, three more clients came in. I had my nails done by Lily, and could not be happier. Ive only been doing this type of manicure for about six months, but since my own nails arent growing anymore due to chemotherapy, am now going this way. Lily is by far the best I have ever had do my manicure. Nails look absolutely like theyre my own. They are right at the cuticle line, no space whatsoever. She was meticulous.Highly recommend. Place is spotless, everyone pleasant. Will be going back regularly now. You can run into some salons in Chinatown that arent too great, as Im a Bostonian, I know. But not here. You wont be disappointed.

I had an appointment for 5:15 pm and I waited an hr to get my service done. They asked to arrive there earlier than the appointment and they asked me to pay in cash(I guess they don’t like to pay taxes) I was going to do my pedicure and manicure and by the time they finish the pedicure it was 7:20 pm. Not to mention if they have treated me nicely I would have given a very good tip, but I just don’t think they care about that. I left 20% tip anyway. It’s not about get as many customers as you can get, it’s about quality service and attention to people. I would have given 30 dls tip for just a $45 pedicure. However, they took so long that I couldn’t get my manicure done, I had to leave. I live around the corner and they just lost a very good customer.

Don’t bother making an appointment. The staff told us to come back 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment (and we were very clear when booking over the phone the exact types of manicures we wanted, so the timing should have been accounted for). As asked, we came back after 20 minutes. Nearly an hour later (after no apologies for the wait or updates on timing), we left. Again - with not even an apology that they couldn’t keep their appointments. The lack of professionalism was the worst I’ve seen. Wasted over an hour waiting around and walked out without getting anything done.

This is the best place in Boston to get your nails done! I’ve lived here for 3 years and I have never found anyone else who will do such high quality work for such reasonable prices.I come every few weeks for a fill and they tell me when it’s time for a new set (other salons aren’t so consistent about taking care of me). They never cut corners and I always leave look amazing. Ever since I started going here I’ve had NO BROKEN NAILS.What put them above the rest was tonight when I came in with an ingrown toe nail. I’ve never had one, and without question (or even an extra charge) they fixed me right up and I still got the amazing pedicure experience I love to receive at La Belle. The classic pedicure comes with the works and is exactly what I need to keep my feet looking good.A fill and pedi comes to $80, you won’t find that anywhere else in Boston, especially not with all the amazing add ins they have.I will be going here as long as I live in the city! Do yourself a favor and make La Belle your go to nail salon 💅🏼

I had heard good things so I went in about 3 weeks ago for a set. SO GOOD. They look so good and have lasted me 3 weeks now, even on walks w my 140 lb dog. So impressed. The service was so friendly and warm as well. Definitely go here- best value and experience.

I had an appointment for 5pm. I waited 45min for a polish change while two employees were giving one client a pedicure & manicure at the same time. I also had my nails done with the dip powder and all I kept stating is I want my nails to look as natural as possible and I left with them definitely looking fake. Total cost for my polish change & dip nails was $77.00, my friend had regular pedicure & gel manicure and paid $80.00 something doesn’t add up! NEVER will go back.

My nails have never been more damaged. Came in with an old dip powder set which got filed until my natural nails were paper thin. I couldnt even finish my manicure. Long story short, I had to cut off my long natutal nails and am extremely dissatisfied with their work. Would not reccomend if you care about your natural nails.

For the $105 price tag (pre tip), this was truly one of the worst. If youre looking to do dip nails, this is not the place for you.CONS:- Your cuticles/nail bed will be destroyed: The first time I went in, my nail tech filed near my cuticle so hard that the skin broke. There was superglue and acetone all of my fingers at the end of our appointment. I wish I took a photo. The second time I went in, the tech insisted on filing my nails with the roughest e-file without soaking - this can be extremely damaging to your natural nail if you have sensitive nails like me. I refused and left after waiting 20 minutes (see below on wait time).- Wait Time: 1st Appt) Soaked my nails for 45 minutes in acetone while my nail tech worked on someone else booked for the same appointment time. 2nd Appt) Went back in a few days later because my 2 of my dip nails cracked (see below on quality issues), waited 20 minutes before someone even looked at my nail. I had an appointment in both instances. For walk-ins, they will tell you that theyll start right away, ask you to sign in, pick your color. From there, its indeterminate how long you will wait so if youre in a time crunch, I would not recommend coming here with or without an appointment.- No dedicated nail tech: In the 2.5 hours I was there for my first appointment, the nail techs were consistently working on 2 different clients at the same time. This was extremely stressful and not relaxing as nails should be.- Wrong technique: In order to have lasting nails (acrylic or dip), the apex of the nail should be strengthened. I noticed that there was a small dip in the apex of almost all of my nails - this is the opposite of what you want. I didnt think much of it until 3 days in when 2 of my nails cracked horizontally all the way through.- Low quality dip: My dip nails cracked within 72 hours of getting them done. Im very careful with my nails and have never seen this happen. Part of this could be the quality of the dip or the technique used. My guess is that because my appointment time was double booked AND there was another client who walked in before my appointment was finished, Britney rushed through the rest of nail in order to get to the next client.- Not all the nail techs are quality - If you browse the reviews, the owner and her daughter are fantastic. Almost all the 5 star reviews were for the daughter Britney, who asks for reviews during your appt and that you dont mention her by name in your review.PROS:- Britney is excellent with nail design and takes pride in her work: two of my ombre nails did not come out ombre at all the first time so she removed them and redid them, which I really appreciated.- Quick to seat you- Convenient locationI love to support local small businesses, especially the mom-and-pop type of shops but there were just too many things that went wrong in both my experiences.Bumped my review up from a 1 star to 2 star because Britney is extremely personable and they did offer to fix my nail for free. But thats really not the service I paid for - to have to go back to the salon, wait around for a problem that in the end wasnt even resolved.

Horrific experience. Left in tears after waiting 40 minutes even though I had an appointment and came hours early to accommodate their schedule change. 4 people who walked in after me were taken care of. I’ve never written a negative review before, but this was down right degrading.

This is my 3rd time coming to La Belle and the service is exquisite. Jenny always shapes and polishes my nails so perfectly, also leaving my feet super soft after every pedicure. She also spent a grand amount of time massaging my feet today and it felt wonderful😍 .. Lastly I enjoy their play list! Highly recommend

I’m very picky about my nails, usually I walk away from a salon looking at them and seeing where they didn’t paint the whole nail, or over painted in areas... not this time. She was very meticulous and thorough in every detail. This picture doesn’t do it justice. I’m overly happy with this manicure, wouldn’t change a thing.

I LOVE La Belle, I came in late on a Friday afternoon and they were able to fit me in without any issue. The staff is incredibly courteous and takes their COVID protocol seriously which is very reassuring. My gel manicure was gorgeous and lasted 3 weeks! I cannot recommend them enough.

They are nice and tbh they did my nails fast and like I wanted. But I hate the fact they overpriced me for a short acrylic nails, $50 for a regular set is bad, when you know there are people around that do the same things for $20!

I’d give this place half a star if I could. Nail techs are too fast and inaccurate. I showed her where she messed up at and she mushed my hand out of the way to continue what she was doing. All around sloppy. 1/10 would not recommend.

Paid 85$ for an ombre design with coffin shape and added tips. At first I didnt see anything wrong with it. I then realized my nails were all different shapes and were very uneven and chunky looking. I have paid less for longer and more detailed nails. Overall, it was NOT worth 85$, acrylic is not there strong suit.

I am from out of town with a background of having a family-owned nail salon. I am extremely picky and I must say that the staff members here do a wonderful job and are so sweet and cute! When i came in, they were extremely welcoming and liked to converse. They’re very detailed-oriented. Unlike some places, their method of removing the gel color is quite safe and professional. The shapes and coloring were done very well. This place is definitely worth the visit and I will confidently come back here the next time I visit Boston! Family owned nail salon with great service and super clean. I’ve been coming here for a few months and can say they’ve provided consistently quality nail service. Most recently I got a set of gel nails done by Britany before my wedding and it turned out great. She pays attention to details and is quick. Highly recommend. If you are coming in on the weekend, I’d recommend making an appointment because it has more popular.

I saw Lily when I went to La Belle today, and she did such a terrific job. I recently moved to Boston 3 weeks ago, and ive been on the hunt for a good new nail place! As a student I didnt want to break the bank, but also wanted a good service! La Belle provided me with both! I got an acrylic fill and gel polish, as well as a lip wax. All services were done with care. Ive never been so happy with my nails! Lily really listened to what I wanted and went beyond my expectations. We also had a great conversation which was really refreshing and nice! Ill definitely be a returning client!

I left a 3 on yelp but honestly if I didnt go with a friend and saw her magnificent manicure (by Nancy), I wouldve left a 1 star on both and never look back. I had Sandy who messed up my request and when i asked her to correct it she got visibly impatient. the lack of attention-to-detail is astounding. She filed too far back and injured 4 nail beds of mine, 4 out of 10, like, what in the world... she also poked my nail beds extremely hard with the metal instruments and her long nails when cleaning off the wrong coat she applied and the excessive glue/gel on the edges. In the end there was still unevenness, excessive glue and gel on the edges, you name it. Never again with Sandy, Id stick to Nancy next time. This is worse than what I do on myself, at least my nails wont hurt.

Hands (or feet!) down the best pedicure I’ve had in the US. I’ve been to salons in CA, FL, IL, NC, and La Belle stands out with their cleanliness, friendliness, expertise and efficiency. Phil was thorough and patiently cleaned and polished my toenails (which were crying out for some attention). Foot massage was included in the very reasonable price. My toes now are happy, and look fantastic. Love this place, and love Phil and his buoyant personality. So convenient to the Orange Line Chinatown stop, too.

Got my nails done a week ago and they are already separating and popping up. The nail techs were nice and they listened when i asked for a specific color and style, but the quality of the work is just terrible.The woman who greeted me was very aggressive and actually pushed me to a chair. I had put some things down on the front desk while i was asking questions about services and she actually grabbed my stuff and moved them to a chair; I assume the thinking was, if my stuff was at a chair I couldn’t leave? I had a fill and it took over an hour. I’ve never had a fill take that long. again, no new nails, just a fill. Very upset that I spent all of that money just to now have to get them redone a WEEK later.

I just got my nails done here! I am extremely satisfied! They are so professional. I asked for a liquid gel and design, it was done perfectly like on the picture. I definitely recommend this salon to anybody who cares about their nails. And I am glad I found a great place for myself to go back :)

Ive been to hundreds of nail salons on the east coast - I have to say this is the first time that I told Maria Im coming back. The owner was great and the service was top notch. You get sunscreen before UV lights and the hand mask by the end just made everything perfect! I wish you guys could open another location in Toronto haha

Just had a gel soak off and gel manicure here for the first time. It was a relaxing, wonderful experience with extremely kind and helpful staff. I will continue coming back after a very gentle, well done manicure.

Ive gone to this place twice. The first time I walked in but I didnt have to wait long. The pedicure was good but the manicure, not so much. Fast forward, 2 weeks later. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. I arrived and announced that I had an appointment. No one acknowledged me and I had to wait for a half hour before before anyone came over. The technician prepped for the pedicure and began the service. She called another technician over to start my nails. The nail tech did half of my manicure while I was in the chair. She kept filing the skin on my fingers and she clipped my finger trying to remove cuticle....it kept bleeding throughout the service. Then she finished with the polish and it looks like my 2 year old niece applied it. Its all over my cuticles and it doesnt look neat at all. Im so disappointed. Its a shame because its a convenient location for me but Ill be going elsewhere from now on.

I wonder if people are talking about the right salon on some of these reviews. I have been going to La Bella since it was over on the other side of Chinatown and now they are conveniently located right next to the Kensington where I live. A lot of the residents in my building go here regularly.Michelle the owner is the nicest woman and so entertaining when visiting. Her family helps behind the desk every once in a while and is as nice as her.All the nail techs are really accommodating and great at what the do. My girlfriend and I love Lilly ! She has been doing my girlfriends nails for a few years. I first met her when my girlfriend wanted me to go with her to Lillys salon in Malden(First Class Nails). They all treat me so nicley and make me feel very comfortable! I even brought my daunter there. We are all so excited that we can now see her closer to the city(we both work in the city).

Absolutely the worst acrylics I’ve ever had in my life. The nail tech was sloppy putting them on and got acrylic all over my skin, then spent at least 20 minutes dremeling the edges of my nails and my skin to get it off. Even when I pulled my hand away and said “that hurts” she would yank it back and start doing it again.I’ve had them on for a week, they’re all lifting, one is chipped. I paid for gel, she didn’t entirely cover my nails with the topcoat so a lot of it has peeled and chipped off.Worst waste of $45 I’ve ever spent in my life.

Customer Service Desk was so rude to the point I will not return.My peeve - It smelled like cat pee in there and they charged a removal fee for my old gel nails - when I questioned that fee, they said everywhere does it ( I was tag teamed by 2 rude woman ).I travel a lot and often go to different salons and have never been charged for them to take off gel ( I was having a new Gel Manicure put on ). They berated me that its a normal fee! Considering when I walked in, I told them I worked around the corner and was looking for a new place that I go to during work break - -I would have expected a nicer welcome !$40 plus a tip for a rude experience.... Never again !On the upside Nikki did a great job - too bad these 2 created a hostile environment and took future business away from her - She had already sold me a pedicure...

Let me explain why and its pure lack of customer service...PERIOD! I needed a manicure, gel. Made an appt, came in 5 min early, woman seated me. She asked how I liked my nails, I said very square and please do not file too much I just filed last night. Okay, she starts with nail 1 and 2 and already shes rounding my edges, I politely ask her please make them square then on nail 3 all hell breaks loose...she begins to file my nail down and I pull my hand away and tell her again I dont want my nails filed please I want the length...This has NEVER been a problem at any salon, I have been going to various salons for 17 YEARS! The woman stands up says I cant do your nails, I have a certain quality that I must maintain and I cant let your nails be uneven(lenth)...after I clarified that I dont care if they are uneven (reason being I just started to grow them, they werent long) She made a complete scene!! I was humiliated and Im NOT that picky pain in the ass customer either, as I said never an issue anywhere before. So what does she do she walks over to another client completely ignoring me and Im asking her...are you serious right now? So now what, I say? I literally thought she was telling me to leave her salon...and for what?!!! Ill get someone else to do your nails for you, I cant do them that way she says. I am just stunned at this womans attitude! Another very nice girl walks over, I tell her how I would like them friendly and nice like I did before and she completes my nails, no complaints. She did a great job but my experience was horrible! Come to find out this horrible woman I had the problem with is the MANAGER of the salon! I hope that if the owner is reading this (whether your family or not) this is UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! I will never return to this salon...ill find another one close by that knows how to treat their customers. And yes I paid $40 for that circus! For the record I tipped the girl very well who actually DID my nails. Good God that was a nightmare!

Ive lived near La Belle for a while, but went in for the first time the other day and Im so glad that I did!I got a dip powder manicure and removal of old dip from Lilly and had a great experience. She was so kind and thoughtful and really wanted to make sure that I was happy with it.Ill be honest, it isnt the most incredible SNS manicure Ive ever gotten, but its really nice and only took about 75 mins which is pretty solid for removal and application. It was $55 for dip without tips and $5 for removal in addition which is a good price for the area.I wish I could give 4.5, but the only reason I say 4 instead of 5 is that its a pretty no frills place. Its clean, but not pristine and the staff is super nice, but they were a bit understaffed.I will definitely be back!!!

Stopped in with a friend on a whim to get our nails done. The staff was very nice and we were seated quickly. I’ve never had my nails done before so I got a basic gel manicure to be safe. During the process I had two different nail techs working on me. A fair amount of the gel ended up getting on my fingers which slightly burned while it was curing so definitely wasn’t thrilled about that, but after I was finished I noticed my nails had a lot of problems. There were lots of bubbles in the gel, LOTS of areas where the nail wasn’t painted whatsoever, and every single nail is a different shape. My friend got absurdly priced acrylics that are already lifting and also different shapes. It’s been about four days since we went and I can almost peel the gel off many of my fingers. The quality received for a $105 bill i was most certainly not worth it.
