My very first haircut by Shenouda the morning of 8/28. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who cuts cloth while Shenouda cuts hair, as he put it to me. As I sat in the barber chair I was made to feel even more welcome. He asked what I wanted done and he really listened. As I watched his technique of cutting it is clear he truly is a Master Barber. I love the set up of one client at a time for haircuts and was happy to see they were wearing face masks. As he finished up he could see me in the mirror I was nodding my head up and down yes I love it it’s exactly what I wanted I told him. I paid and booked my next appointment. Two thumbs up when you need a great haircut from a Master Barber this is the place to go men.

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed, John made me an espresso and we talked for a bit. I explained that I had a poor experience with another barber (completely different shop) and was here to hopefully get my hair fixed. Walking into Rouge Barbershop you see a clean well kept shop. The tools are laid out with care from straight razors to electric trimmers. Shenouda takes great pride in his work. Shenouda is the very definition of a master barber--a true artist of his craft. Quite likely the finest in the Boston area. For the moderate price I enjoyed an experience worth twice as much or more. Its a trap to assume that just because you go to Newbury Street for a cut that it will be premium quality, but Rogue Barbers is truly a cut above the rest for less than you would pay elsewhere.
