Went there for the first ***AND LAST*** time, after going to SuperCuts for many years. The price of a Varsity haircut is posted at $18 (see photo). I asked for a #3 all around (in other words, a quick haircut). When I went to pay, they charged me $24, for the Triple Play.All I got was a hair-cut. No hot towel. No shampoo.When I pointed this out, they still refused to correct the price - telling me that the Varsity is just for kids. As you can see in the attached photo - theres nothing that says that the Varsity is just for kids.Oh, and when you try calling Customer Service - the mailbox is full. Why is that not shocking?In the future, I will stay away from this dishonest business. I am going back to SuperCuts.

Checked in online. Didnt have to wait long. Stylist was quick but thorough and accurate. Haircut looked great!

Glorified great clips. Constant rotation in stylists. Stylists are either quitting or getting fired which says more about the management/owner than the stylists themselves. Which is a shame because the store looks nice but Ive never seen more new faces in a store constantly than anywhere else. People want to see the same stylists and build a relationship in a relaxed environment. Everyone just looks uptight and stressed. Steer clear.

Owner is rude. Save your tome and money and go to Supercuts. Owner said if I just wanted a shampoo it’s 24 with no hair cut. I said Supercuts will do it for 7. She begrudgingly said ok, I will match their price. I took her up on her offer and told my self I would never go back. I had an excellent experience at the wayne sport clips salon. I will go there next

Been going to this location for a couple years. Sienna is a great hair stylist and takes pride in her work. I always leave with a great cut from her. Overall, staff is very nice and shop is clean. Great experiences here.

I try to use the same woman, Ewa, every time I go here for a haircut. Not only is she very friendly, but she consistently gives me the best haircuts I have ever gotten. She’s quick, professional, and the conversation flows in a way that I’m not used to. No awkward barbershop small talk, just a great conversation accompanied by an amazing cut!

I use to go to the Sports Clips in Northvale, but that got closed down unfortunately. Thanks, COVID! But, my boyfriend found a location in River Edge, which is about 15 mins from him. He got his haircut done by the same stylist, and not once has he complained. He then referred me to the same stylist, Siena, and she did amazing work. The precautions the staff takes to make sure everyone is safe, social distancing, etc, is amazing. I am very satisfied with my haircut, and highly recommend going to this location. Although they dont really advertise it, they do cut womens hair! So, ladies! If you want to get a haircut, definitely come by Sports Clips in River Edge, NJ and ask for Siena! She is amazing!

Clean and COVID conscious. They were very good about making sure to have people wait outside, taking temperatures before letting them in, and wearing masks throughout the whole experience. I went to them before COVID, Ill continue going back to them!

Today was the first time Ive ever been to a Sport Clip and I had a great first experience. The ladies were all very cheerful and seemed happy to be at work. I was also very happy to see how well they were trying to keep everything sanitized! Thenhaircutnitaelf was easy and it looks great. This positive experience will deffinately make me come back when I need another cut.

Nikki is the best. I left Edgewater to go to this sports clip. It takes longer to get there but well worth it

Every time I have gone here haircuts have been OK.Went today at 6:29 for a haircut...confirmed online and everything. I arrive and she says no more haircuts after 6:30...I said it is 6:30...She says no haircuts after 6:30...I said why did you confirm online to come...sorry, no haircut...I said please, it’s been 3 months since I’ve been able to get a haircut...she said no, it’s past 6:30...NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE! They don’t even close til 7...There we’re 3 people working there and only one person getting a haircut...Not worth it...a lot of other choices in town, better off going somewhere else...Their motto should be “Customer Is Our Last Concern.”

I have received many haircuts at Sports Clips and I have never been dissatisfied! However, my favorite stylist there is Mercy. I have established a true friendship with her and she is the main reason, above all others, that I continue to return. Mercy is a very caring and kind-hearted human!

Have been getting my sons.haircuts here for 3 months, they love the MAP service. My daughter needed a haircut desperately and the salon she goes to couldnt take her so I tried sports clips and thankfully they said they could cut her hair. Awesome job as always and the sweetest most patient stylist Stacey is the best. . She is our wonderful. . Definitely recommend her to everyone.. 2 thumbs up!!!!

Supercuts was full for the night, and almost everywhere else was already closed. The haircut I received at sports clips was the best I’ve ever gotten. First of all, the wait was about 20 minutes but it was well worth it. I checked in online to have a shorter wait time which was great. When I sat in the chair the first thing she asked me is if I’ve been there before. When I answered no, she offered to upgrade me for free to MVP. She gave me a haircut, which was pretty good. Then we went in the back where I sat in a massage chair while she washed my hair and put a hot towel on my face. It felt so good. When that was over and we went back to the chair to finish up she used a back massaging kind of tool on my upper back and shoulders for a few minutes. Then she dried off my hair and put some gel in it. For the price of $20 the haircut was amazing. MVP cost another $5 but I’d say it’s totally worth it. Overall great experience I hope to get my haircut from there for now on!

Very good exp here. Very relaxing and straight forward. Could get pretty busy so def wanna call ahead or get the app to make an appt to be seen. Will def come again.

Was very pleased with my haircut with Marra today. She offered suggestions and was quite easy to communicate with. Staff also made sure to clean the area before attending to the next guest/s. Will definitely be back.

Jillian is an excellent barber/stylist. She is a true professional. As long as she is employed there, I will (whenever it is convenient to do so) return to your River Edge location.

Overrated. My local barber charges the same exact rate but he takes his time with me. I feel and look good when hes done. At Sports clip I left feeling rushed and haircut not quite done.

Been going to Sport Clips for a few years now and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. All stylists are friendly and attentive. My personal favorite stylist is Nikki at the River Edge location.

I love the Stylist, Lore, and her great professionalism in giving me 100% of her time, energy, professionalism and all of the knowledge which she gave me about this amazing place, Sport Clips. I love the time devoted to me without any sense of being rushed. I love the shampoo, the massage, hot towel and the amount of time I was able to enjoy all of these services!!!

This has become my regular place to go to get my hair cut. I generally have Angela cut my hair - I think she is the manager and she does a good job. Occasionally Ive had other women cut my hair and they are good, as well. You can use their web site to check in online - this is a great advantage.

Its great being able to check in online and not have to wait too long here. All of the staff are super friendly. The MVP is a nice touch and worth it after a long day.

The whole place has a feel good factor to it. The process for waiting and paying are well organized. I must give a special mention of the hair stylist (Cris) because she really understands what she is doing and does a fantastic job. I do not need to look for any other place for future haircuts.

My local SportsClips is amazing, and I always feel welcome there. Angela provides great customer service--once I went elsewhere when I couldnt wait and got a bad haircut at a competitor and she fixed it at a discount! This visit, Doris was outstanding--I was on a time limit and she gave me an estimate that she stuck to firmly; the haircut looks wonderful and I got very complimented on it. Been going here for two years now (at least) and recommend it to everyone!

The time they give to when you will be served us always within 2 or 3 minutes of your actual time, and for me that is second only to the actual haircut which has been very satisfactory for me.

The service was good. The person who cut my hair was friendly and accommodating. We struck a nice conversation and I enjoyed my time there.

The people are great, the VIP is very relaxing - and recommended, and if they are busy you can check in on-site or via the internet and get text alerts as your appointment approaches.

La La has done an awesome job cutting my sons hair. They love going to Sports Clips of River Edge! We also had Claudia for the first time. She did a great job as well, just what i wanted. I will continue to go back.

The person that did my hair mercy had no idea how to do my beard trim. She had no idea how to line up. Honestly, Lola stepped in and she was really nice and good. But mercy was just terrible.

Chris is the most awesome Hair Stylist. I only go when shes there. Id rather wait and get attended by her than risking going anywhere else. Id give her a 100 if possible but unfortunately Sports Clips limits my number. =) Cmon Sports Clips give her a 100!

Staff is great! Even though I keep forgetting who to request (memory isnt great), each time I visit I want to revisit the same people because they are all just so friendly and witty.Downside is you dont get a normal cut for a cheap price like you would at a more non-chain place, but the VIP treatment which is basically a wash and dry along with the cut is a cheap added bonus that I think makes it worth it.

Friendly staff under Angela, team effort from everyone. Politeness goes a long way! I’m a regular and urge others to visit these fine professionals. 👍🏼

Nice place people professional but hard to keep consistency. You have a chance to choose your hairdresser but sometime line is long or he/she is not on schedule. It would be nice if schedule would be available online

Hit or miss with wait time as well as getting a good haircut. My first time there was great. Second not so good. Last time the stylist was pleasant and took her time and I got a good haircut.

Its hard to find a place that gives a great hair cut when its a chain. This place falls under that. My hair cut was ok but not great. Its pretty price with all things considered. Its my own fault though going for quickness, and convince.

After a negative experience at Edgewater location- which is closer to home, my son and I came out here for a cut. We had Christie and Doris....they were both ultra professional and gave a great haircut to us. Will def be making this our go to place from now on

After 3 or 4 different visits to this location I have determined no one here knows how to do a skin tight fade. Every fade is different and majority of the time there are blatantly obvious lines where no blending took place.....extremely disappointed every time. No compensation even after having complained. Took 2 hours to get a haircut that still looked bad.

The MVP is a really nice touch. The calming setting of the showers area is perfect. I know that when I go to a SportClips, the environment will be clean, the team is friendly, I get to watch sports, and I get a great cut every time.

Update: this place used to be my go to. Now the waits are insane even if you login online. I waited 40 min with my son. I will be looking for a new place.Angela is great with my son! She works fast since kids get antsy and always does a great job

Unfortunately tonight I went to a local salon where they absolutely butchered my hair. It looked like a 9 year old cut my hair. Right after I drive over to sport clips where Ella fixed my hair and it was absolutely perfect. She made sure every hair on my mangled head was just right. Thanks! 👍👍👍

The shop was OK and my haircut did not look bad when I was done. The lady I had was nice and I enjoyed the wash I recieved after. The haircut with the hot Towle was very nice maybe except for the weird vibrating chair. I was hoping they would straight razor my hair as I asked for a skin tight fade but that didnt happen. It was nice there but Im probably not going back.
