Phillip is awesome. He always keeps in touch and follows up regularly. He gives advice on how to help keep the pest population down. We added the mosquito treatment and it has been wonderful, we can enjoy our yard and deck again.

Mark was great. Hes extremely knowledgeable and professional and gave us a lot of great advice to deal with our pest problem. He was prompt, thoroughly inspected problem areas and sprayed accordingly. Above all, he put our minds at ease over the situation. From the proposal to the finish line - everything was very professional and completed on time. My crawl space went from being a weak characteristic of my house to a strength. We are extremely pleased with their work - both the performance and the value. For anyone dealing with crawl space concerns, I would highly recommend this group.

The technician was fine. He showed up without an appointment. I was told that the office handed him a stack of people to call on. They sent me a bill that increased by $35 from the previous year. $185 is a lot for a 10 minute visit. I spoke with the office regarding him just showing up and she said “we emailed you,” then said we don’t have an email address for you. I believe a customer has the right to know if a cost in service changes. She was very rude when I said I would like to move my service. She stated it would cost me much more to move it. I explained I wanted to go with a company that does not spring cost increases after the fact. I do not know if what I am paying is a good rate or not, but what I do know is the way this went about was very unprofessional. I can only imagine how they would handle issues if there were a problem.

We had our crawl space encapsulated by American Pest Control. They gave us a free inspection and quote before doing the work, and once the work began they were fast and professional. I didnt even know they were there most days, and I was working from home. They knew that I was concerned during the pandemic, and they always wore masks when coming to our house, whether we were talking in close distance, or they were just in and out. Before the project, we had 90%+ humidity in our crawl space. We couldnt store anything in there, and I was always worried that there could be issues with mold and moisture. Since having the work done theres relatively no humidity in the space. I know theres no mold, all is dry, and we have plenty of space to store holiday decorations.

Everyone that I have met and spoken to at American Pest Control have been amazing to work with. I have a termite bond with them and the online payment system has been a breeze. They are extremely professional and take great care in their work. They are very thorough when they do inspections as well. They call to set up an appointment and make sure that you are aware of every step they are taking to ensure your home is taken care. Call these guys if you want an awesome company to take care of your all of your bugs!

American is a great company! I have used them for my termite bond as well as my general pest company. I have always received professional and friendly service. Their mosquito net has made hanging out in my backyard tolerable and they took what I thought was an uncontrollable ant problem and eradicated it within weeks! Can’t say enough good stuff about them! My account manager Ken is proactive and always thinking about the best ways to protect my home.

Be careful when selling your home. This place attempted to bill my seller $250 when only $125 should have been billed for a termite letter. Even though it states clearly the bond is not transferable, they randomly bill for the new owners bond--which they do not know anything about. When called, they stated the lenders will fix at settlement (not true, they have no idea what the bill is for), then they state this is what they do on every one. Multiple phone calls have been made and they should never be allowed to add an unauthorized charge to a bill for another party. Please be careful!!!!

Theyve always been willing to work with me because I work out of town. Theyve always been kind, and willing to service our home whether were there or not.Also, you can pay over the phone by cc if you need to. Im not sure why anyone would rate them a 1 out of 5 over having to write a check, but the previous review is false.

I have a couple of properties which are under contract with APC for termite treatment and maintenance. Rodney Chaney is the technician I have dealt with for several years. He is a very professional, knowledgeable, and makes sure all my questions are answered. He represents APC very well.

Not really sure how their yearly termite inspection is, as they only come and do the outside when no ones home. Their issue is billing. Theres no way of paying them other than snail mailing a check. Who still writes checks? Update your website for autopay. Ugh, also no one answers the phone after 4:59pm. Find a more modern company; I sure am.

We bought an older house in the heart of old Hoover, surrounded by dense trees. Lots of bugs! We tried to treat the roaches and pests ourselves, but we couldnt do it. We still saw the bugs everywhere. Yuck!American Pest Control came in with quarterly treatments. The bugs can still get near the house, but the only pests we see inside the house now have their legs sticking up in the air. Dead! Great job American Pest Control. Thanks for keep our house ick-free.

Do not call! Technician left the house without completing the service and left the front door open without stating he was leaving. Upon calling, the company stood by the technician stating I had to find another service. Very, very, very poor treatment of customers on the West side.
