It was a great place to live and I would suggest it to any and everybody. . They made it a breeze in my move to the Gulf Coast.The property manager, Eric, really cares about the renters and any issues you may have he will do his absolute best to fix it. I had an issue with my AC and it was fixed immediately.The apartment itself is really nice and updated. The kitchen is great for cooking and connects to the living room so the whole area is really open and great for hosting. Also the location is perfect.Unlike other places they have a 24/7 security that does an amazing job.The best part is that you can honestly tell that Southwind Resort really cares about their renters and their experiencee. Eric and Mariette are absolutely amazing and Im not just saying that. They have a lot of respect for their tenants and really want them to have the best living experience.

If you love fishing right off your back porchy the morning and relaxing, this is the place for you. We have loved living here for over a year. Eric and the maintenance team are top notch. Grounds are beautiful, great pool, and walking trails. We feel welcome and very safe here and can truly say you will Love living here. Stop by and see for yourself. Got to go the fish are feeding.

I’ve lived in this amazing community for over a year now. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. From the quaint, well-designed townhomes to the ponds...staff and neighbors....it’s absolutely the best place to live! Centrally located between cute little downtown Ocean Springs and the Biloxi nightlife, this is a well-hidden gem!

Eric was very prompt in communicating and answering questions both before and during the trip. Self check in/out with the key pad was easy and convenient. The unit itself was the perfect getaway from it all! The location was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Mary at the front desk was very welcoming, it’s always great to be greeted with a smile... and things got even better when we were personally walked to our unit by Eric, we felt right at home!!!! I would definitely stay here again... we need more people like them working everywhere !!!

My husband and I love that it is conveniently close to everything while still being tucked away by the water as well as trees. The staff is very friendly, our 3 bedroom 2 & 1/2 bath was nice (we were there for a year), but the 2 bedroom 2 bath seems to be much better. It took a while for a few maintenance issues when they we switching to online, but the online capability makes it easier if we have issues and they are able to get things done faster.

Forget staying at a casino, this place is the bomb. Great hotel/extended stay in Bilox for large groups.At check in we were treated like VIPs. We got a nice giant place that fit all 12 of us comfortably. Not to mention the price was one of the best bargains versus us having to pay for 6 separate hotel rooms. The place itself is tucked away off the main street, so its very quite and safe. We plan to do a repeat stay ASAP.

I lived here at Southwind for 4 years. The first year was great. Once they changed management, it started going downhill. It took maintenance a long time to fix things and then they made the tenants responsible for supplying their own light bulbs. They barely kept up with maintenance on the lawn as well. As quickly as tenants were moving in, they were also moving out. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

This was the absolute worse place I ever moved to with my children . Looks nice on out side but the inside have so many issues. Water damage every where dripping water in the kitchen,, I touch the walls where it was coming from it was soft, water dripping from where the ceiling fan was installed, water stain in master bedroom, I told manager Eric and placed work orders nothing never got fixed, sink disposal broke put work order they sent someone out weeks later so it had backed old water in my sink, the community pool stayed dirty with baby crabs in it . Possibly mold behind the walls in the home neighbors had the same issue.

I would like to take time out to thank E&M Management Group for finding this awesome complex for us for our temporary stay. I found their company online and was hoping they could help me since I needed a quick move due to being under contract for a house. Mariette gave me the address to meet Eric at Southwind Townhomes and said she highly recommended this place and thought it would be a perfect fit for my fur baby and I. Eric was so professional and informative about all my questions. The 3 bd with a garage was gorgeous. You can tell that they are very serious about keeping the grounds and the apartments in showman shape. In less than 3 hours I filled out my application and was approved to move in that day into a fully furnished with all utilities. This was the fastest and most courteous service I have ever had before. Again thanks Eric for your excellent customer service! 5 stars

WiFi didnt work, Moved us 3 times before we got there because of unfinished apartments (according to the maintenance man HE WAS HELPFUL!) and the housekeeper was AWESOME. Whole apartment came with only 1 remote. Apparently booking lets you set a check in time but check in is always at 3 which is a HUGE miscommunication that should be fixed. Front office help was rude, all in all wont be coming back. Spend your money at a place that knows what theyre doing!

Stayed here for a week vacation in a 4 bd unit. The location is great for local stores, restaurants and nightlife. Located within 2 miles to the casinos and less than 5 miles to the beach. The professionalism and care from the people in office is Amazing. If Luxury and Location are important to you, then Southwind Townhomes is a MUST!

We are in our late 50s and decided to treat our 3 grand kids to a weekend getaway before they go back to school. The home was up to even my wifes standards of cleanliness. It adequately housed the 5 of us. We were pleasantly surprised about how much the larger the home was compared to the pictures. We spent two days grilling, fishing, and paddling around the pond. When the temperature became cooler close to sunset, my wife and I would stroll the golf cart paths that go all around the property. The resort itself, we felt comfortable enough to let our grand kids use the facilities themselves due to the safety we felt about the neighborhood. The home had everything we needed. Eric and Mariette in the office was what truly made our stay easy and enjoyable. We now have them renting out our second home for vacationers, due to their professional skills and management abilities.

Discovered this place through E&M Management. Working with Eric and Mariette had been such a wonderful experience. Southwind Resort has been Hands down the best place for the money. They have the utility package that can be added to the rent which means I dont have to worry about if I paid this bill and such. The package gives us electricity, internet, cable, water etc., so convenient. The townhouse is spacious and fits my family of 4 comfortably. We love walking our dog on the many trails on property.

Advertises that large dogs are allowed but has weight restrictions and breed restrictions for dogs that are not mentioned online. The website should be updated to reflect this information. A whole lot of bang for your buck! Eric and the staff go a long way to provide excellent service to not only their vacationers and business visitors, but to the residents as well. If you are going to be on the coast in any extended stay situation, this is definitely the place to be!

Ive only been here for a day so far, but from what I can tell this place is legit. We were hooked up with a really good rate for a 4bdr/3bath townhouse for the next 18 days, $30/day cheaper than other hotels in the area. There are a few anesthetic/visual things that could be fixed, but for the price were paying for this big townhouse we really cant complain that much. Would definitely recommend to others!

Lived here briefly. Made us use ours neighbors wifi. Never returned our security deposit that is owed to us, $500. Emailed owners, they said we would get a check in the mail, but they stopped replying to my husband and I. We tried calling the office from the number on here but the number doesnt work. Also have Facebook messaged both and no replies. No one will talk with us about this issue.

Property needs a revamp. Potentially could be a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Poor management let it run down but the owner is working hard to bring it back to status

Im glad I attended technical training school at Keesler. Stayed at Southwind Townhomes for my 3 months of training since its close to base (about a 5 minute drive). Very spacious and private living. Had everything from a personal washer and dryer to even utensils and cookware in the place. Close by to casinos or just bring some swimming trunks and hit the beach. Everyone here is really friendly and theres a ton of things that can be enjoyed.

This place was perfect. The management staff are so great. The place was huge and spotless.

We had a wonderful stay at Southwinds. The house was amazing and in a phenomenal location. We cant wait to go back next year. The experience was the best rental experience we have ever had. I usually rent vacation homes multiple times each year on the Gulf Coast, but Southwinds will now be our go to place. We were directed to this place through a management company called E&M Management Group. We also recommend them, very professional and prompt.

Wish I, would give it negative stars. This place is terrible I do not recommend anyone stay here. The place is dirty inside and out tv doesnt work. When you call for help the woman will tell you she will get someone right over but no one shows up . Beds are not comfortable over all this place needs an overhaul new management and workers. I will never come back and I will tell people never waste money saying here

Top-Shelf Living. I just moved in and love it. I feel like Im living at a vacation resort! The apartment layout is the perfect use of space and is very large. My kitchen is gorgeous. I love the large tub and counter space in the bathroom. For the cost, proximity to downtown Biloxi, and Keesler, and garage parking, you cant beat it. Eric and Mariette have been super helpful and responsive.

I had to call for both visits to get the door code. I should have received it the day before and I got it the day of on both occasions. They painted the day before we got there the first stay; the smell was so overwhelming that it caused me to get a headache and to have sleep in a different room. The pull out bed was filthy. They carpets and floors were filthy. We had a baby with us, so dirty floors were hard to handle. The TV did not have a remote and would only stay off if you unplugged it. The WiFi was not strong. The notes for renters are so old that they mention getting 2 sets of keys. Things need to be updated - definitely not worth the money. I would have canceled the second night for the return trip but I wouldn’t have gotten any money back. The only good thing about the second night was that it didn’t smell like paint. It also looked like they didn’t vacuum between our two visits. I had such high hopes.

I lived at Southwind Townhomes and Resort for 3 months while training at Keesler in early 2017. After researching and visiting other places in the area, I believed Southwind offered the best combination of price and quality. None of the other places had all the furniture, washer and dryer, and utilities including super-fast internet in one place like the units that they have. I have been extremely satisfied with my experience. The property and views are unbeatable, and the place offers many amenities that other complexes in the area do not. To top it off, the Property Manager Eric, his wife, and maintenance are extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Southwind for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, clean, and safe place. Also the location is great for local stores, restaurants and nightlife. So many great things to say about this place: quiet and clean building, awesome fishing, clean pool, high quality appliances. Highly recommend!

The pictures dont do 20c justice! Its much nicer than we expected with a fishing area out the front door. The playground is small and so is the pool but the beach is a few short minutes away.

This place was HORRIBLE. The carpet,beds, and furniture was dirty. The bed covers had urine stains all over them. There was no tissue in either bathrooms. The owner Eric refuse to talk or give our money back. We had to find another location for our 4 day vacation. There also was other people there with complaints.

I got a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom townhome here in October 2018. After multiple problems moving in (wrong unit, unfinished cleaning) we eventually got settled in. Less than a week after moving in, the upstairs toilet stopped working. We called management 5 or more times to have someone come fix it. They never came in the two months I was there. Had a terrible roommate who decided to try and kick me out. The office decided to change the locks without letting me know about the change. When I went to talk to them, they claimed I was never put on the lease so I couldn’t get into my own apartment to my belongings for over a week. I even paid overage on water that turned out to be false. Eric and Mariette are absolutely nightmares to deal with and care about nothing but money.

Grounds are beautiful but they take anybody, dont run background. They end up with people who nobody else will rent to and that creates a situation that is unsafe and not good for families and young children.The units are filthy, walls are not painted between tenants, carpets are absolutely gross.Roach infested.My young girls had to listen to cussing and fighting while neighbors drink until 3-4 am.My girls could not be outside alone nor with adult supervision due to filthy language by other teenagers and behavior of other kids.Gangs, fighting, prostitution and drugs.Renter beware!Also check sex offender registry for area. Not good.

Can you go lower than hated it? Couldnt get in, and rental company blamed us for not figuring out the combination, which four different people tried, including a law enforcement officer. Called with no response until the next day.

Nice place, but the bedrooms do not have Television in them. We stay in the 4 bedrooms unit, 2 full baths, quiet, clean environment.

This is a aweful place to live wouldnt recomend it managmet is terrible and rude its not worth a review cant wait to move will never recomend this to anyone its a ripoff

The place is big but roaches were not invited to the party. We had to clean our own bed sheets, bathrooms, kitchen, exc...because the place was dirty. I am disappointed! We were told by Mary we would receive a cleaning fee refund but we are still waiting...

Southwind Townhomes was an ideal retreat for our first trip to Biloxi. My husband and I, along with our two daughters (ages 11 & 15) and my parents (ages 73 & 74) found this home to be a great place to relax! Convenient to dining and shopping, as well as a variety of attractions, the Townhome is located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. Our host from Airbnb, Eric, was very helpful, responded promptly to inquiries and requests.The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bed and bath linens. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy watching videos (tween), draw (teen), read (grandpa and dad), do puzzles (grandma and mom). We will stay here again next year and the next and so on.

First off, I like to start with any negatives to get those out of the way. This isnt a resort. Some people let the name take them with the wind. Look at the photos online, the website, its essentially just clean apartments with apparent age. Each unit has varying levels of furniture, and flooring arrangements. My carpet for example is stained to high heaven. But they cleaned it, and the whole place before I came in and I can tell. Heck the manager even asked me if I wanted an adjacent unit that had faux wood flooring that looked great. That leads me to the positive side. Eric will take care of your issues right away. Ive had three separate concerns and he always fixed them the same day. The internet isnt the best but works. Several units share a single wireless router which may or may not be in your unit. The AC works well but doesnt like being below 75 on hot days. The kitchen had plenty of plates, pots, silverware... And the beds came with cheap new bedding. Perfect for me. Lastly they allow pets, and work beautifully with military folks utilizing per diem or set daily rates. The last two points and being furnished makes me one happy guest. P.S. The walking trail which was a golf cart path is beautiful and long. But watch out for snakes!

We took our mom to the coast for her 80th birthday party. We rented a condo at Southwind Townhomes. It was nicer than i expected had a Jacuzzi tub upstairs had washer dryers 3 restrooms and ful kitchen appliances. We had a great time close to great malls and cassinos. Would definitely recommend it for a getaway.

This place was a disaster. It didnt have any furniture. A bed with no headboard no night stands. The pictures that you see is a LIE!!!!! We will never stay again. The office was VERY VERY rude.

When I called to let them know of the error, I was invited to sue them and hung up on by a woman named Mary. Aghast at this treatment, I attempted to reply to the email, and received an error saying the email domain does not exist.Buyer beware. Seems shady.
