I love jimmy’s personal care, I’ve gone here before & it’s amazing! The ladies are always so sweet! I was looking forward to getting a flower design manicure for my vacation this week, but the lady doing my nails could simply not do it & it was a very simple design, I could have even done it myself. She then removed them and tried over and they still did not come out well so I finally just said we could paint over it the same color as my other nails. I still paid $90 + tip for the nails. I love this place, just don’t recommend for detailed manicures or simple manicures with a design at all :(

I got a really nice set of acrylic nails from here! They were beautiful and decently shaped. However, after they had grown out and I needed them removed the Jimmys crew did not remove them appropriately. They used foce and ripped the acrylics off my nails without soaking them. It was a painful experience and many of my natural nails were ripped and damaged. I would not recommend going to Jimmys to have acrylics removed.

Always a fun time trying out different nail salons and listening to the staff converse until they realize I can speak Vietnamese. Instantly the lady cutting my nails talked negatively about the color I picked, about receiving clients in general (even 2 hours before closing), and last but not least how “ugly” my feet were.. I am so uncomfortable and am struggling to finish the rest of my pedicure just to use up my gift certificate to this place. Upon confrontation, they instructed each other not to speak Vietnamese among each other anymore. The worker who originally talked bad about me then began to cover the situation up by trying to tell me she was only talking about my ingrown nail. After I explained in Vietnamese she sighed and walked away in defeat. Disappointed as the environment is luxurious and clean. Definitely won’t be back, honestly ruined part of my evening.

My experience started off very nice, I could tell they were busy so when we had to wait for chairs to open up I wasn’t concerned. I got concerned after waiting over 20 minutes for my pedicure to start while my two friends in the chairs next to me were finished with theirs before anyone got started on me. I was rushed out of the chair, the nail polish was put on without letting any of the layers dry and I went to sit with my friends who were under fans to help the polish dry; I didn’t get a fan. We were rushed out the door once we were done, none of our nails were fully dry so the polish moved a lot in the process of putting our shoes on. Very disappointed, definitely not worth the $40 I spent.

Friendly well trained staff goes all out to give a great experience and results you love! My daughter and I had a wonderful time and they made her feel special and grown up. I will most definitely go back for other services. Best pedicure I’ve ever had.

They were a half hour late to start. They were so busy they had to tag team with people. My daughter and I were still there after nearly 4 hours. Her nail chipped the next day. our 30 minute back message was only 15 to 20 minutes . . Sad we wont be back. Not to mention people coming for appointments and leaving because they were so late. Very expensive for what we received

The staff is very friendly and Betty good at what they do. I think they overbooked this time, it was a really long wait. I eventually went for a walk to pass some time. But, they know what theyre doing when it comes to mani/pedi and facials!

First, SO thankful that they are open (1/31/21) !!!Their attentiveness and genuine care is apparent right from the start. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Then there was the foot massage!!! 10/10 for that! The star being taken off is for cleanliness. The floors were a bit dirty and Im a fan of lined tubs, autoclaved tools, and not seeing a bunch of clipped nails. But honestly I have only found one place that has achieved that, so it must not be a standard in WA like it is in CA.But how the treat you always wins! And Jimmys personal care does just that! Thank you for the much needed pedicure and human touch

This is my go to nail salon for years now but I must say I’m disappointed. We are still in a pandemic and again this visit like the last time there are a couple employees that don’t wear a mask or if they do it’s below their noses. Jimmy is not around as he has a new baby but I think he may be disappointed too if he knew this. There is a state mandate in effect and they have the sign on the door for patrons to wear masks.

Went there for a Manicure and pedicure for me and my friend. They were super friendly and the service was exceptional! Best part was the shoulder massage at the end. Definitely recommend them

Wow, I am so impressed with the level of care and sanitation control in the nail shop! Jimmy has literally mastered the art of going beyond basic standard of Covid-19 compliance’s one his shop, while maintaining his usual high level of exceptional quality care during manicures and pedicures. His staff even received certificates of sanitation training prior to reopening up to the public. This is the most impressed I’ve been of any establishment in Bellingham regarding safety and precautions. The safe is so friendly and happily ready to serve. The barriers between the employees and clients is spotless, I almost forgot they were there! I will definitely be back routinely and my friends and I felt so comfortable and welcomed. Thank you for another phenomenal experience!!

Fantastic experience. So relaxing. Im very pleased with how my gel pedicure turned out, but even more happy with the amazingly relaxing treatment. The foot/leg massage that Trang gave me was so wonderful! She helped soothe achey spots that I didnt even realize were trouble spots until I felt the relief! I highly recommend Jimmys Personal Care!

Wonderful place. I had been given the gift of a mani-pedi. This was my first mani-pedi and the staff was real attentive and professional.

They always have been conscious of sanitation. Very professional and courteous to clients. Annie is my favorite for pedicures. It is like a mini vacation from work/stresses, and all feels right with the world! :)

Ive been to Jimmys two times and was satisfied both times. My mother-in-law introduced me to the salon. The atmosphere is really refreshing! Its clean, relatively quiet, modern looking. It appeared very professional. Theyre the exception to my usual nails/wax experience. Most affordable salons are dirty, poorly decorated, loud (people and TV) and somewhat chaotic.It definitely costs more to go to Jimmys, but with the few times in the year that I treat myself, I think its worth it.The waxing area doesnt have the same appeal as the nail area. But with having only a lip wax, it was not a disappointment.Very clean place! Thank you for caring about hygiene and comfort.

Amazing staff. The owner was around the whole time. He was very attentive to the clients and his staff. The staff did an amazing job at both manicures and pedicures. Very fair price and a plus they have snacks, beer and wine!

Jimmy is such a fantastic person to work with! He literally runs back and forth throughout the salon all day to make sure that he is accommodating EVERYONE. He is a rockstar. All of the girls are so fatastic and helpful and do amazing work. I came here for my bridal party appointment and they were absolutely amazing! Would go here every single time!

It was great....It looked busy when I got there, but didnt wait long...relaxing atmosphere and music. Choice of beverage and a small fruit platter was a nice touch and refreshing, as well the Chairs have massage built in. They are have a special on Mondays & Tuesdays for $50 and you get both a pedicure and manicure. Awesome deal! The girl was gentle on my toes, no digging around and I was asked a couple of times if everything was OK and to my satisfaction. A personal touch I will go back for. Thanks for the experience!

I had a mani/pedi. The massage part of the pedi wasnt impressive. The toe polish was well done. Too much skin was cut away on the mani. 3 of my fingers are sore and red 3 days later. The polish was well done. The massage on my arms and hands again wasnt impressive. The back massage was incredible. Very well done. Unfortunately there were too many cons for me to go back. $60 before tip.

This is the 3rd Ive had gel nails peel from the nailbed within days of the manicure. 6/10 nails are peeling 7 days from application. The employees are very kind, but something is amiss. Im done trying. This doesnt happen elsewhere.

You will be pampered here. The solon doesnt smell of chemicals. The employees seem happy. Jimmy is very attentive. Prices are reasonable. I wont be going to any other salons.

This place is warm and inviting. The best mani/pedi Ive ever had and the price is awesome.

I was delighted to see that the fruit trays were given out and complimentary beverage. The place was very clean and everyone was super friendly. But 3 hours after my toes were done they already chipped off. They were nice and painted over it for free but she just painted over so now it’s really thick and goopy. And then 2 days later my gel nails started coming off near the edge and I had to file it down so my nail didn’t show. Disappointed that I spent 80 dollars for this..

I feel like I need to preface my review by saying Im a guy. Came here after burning man. My nails were wrecked. It was the best experience. They serve fresh fruit and took great time to bring my hands and feet back from the dead. I need to find another excuse to come back more than once a year.

Hit or miss. Ive been here 3 times and the first time my gel nails peeled the same day due to too thick of gel on my nails. When I went back to complain, Jimmy was very nice and fixed it for me. It lasted a long time once it was correctly done. The next time I went in my gel manicure didnt last for even a week again due to too thick of gel. Not to mention the lady painted far away from the cuticle making it look like my manicured nails were grown out. Its not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Just found this spa through a friend. Great vibe, amazing hospitality and professional care. Once you visit here, youll never want to go anywhere else. Truly.

Id go back for their pedicures not not their manicures. I had my first mani from them last week. The products were good quality but my technician was clearly in a huge hurry to get me out the door. She spent maybe 2 minutes filing my nails. They were all uneven, different lengths, lopsided, and a couple of them had really rough and jagged edges. I didnt notice until later that there was a small hair stuck in the polish on one of my nails, too! The shoulder massage was nice but that was NOT worth $25.

I gave Jimmys Personal Care a Five-Star because this place is an amazing place! This place does not smell like a lot of harmful chemicals. It is very clean. I can breathe easy knowing I am not breathing toxic chemicals, like other places. Where else will you find a place that uses egan products and an ozonated water system? I enjoyed my pedicure and massage. They have comfortable seats, complimentary Pellegrino, Aranciata, Lemonata, Espresso, Americano or Café Latte, and a fruit dish. Jimmy is a very professional, yet caring with all his customers. A must go to be pampered.

I really wanted to fall in love with this place, especially since the ambiance is so great! They bring you water and fruit to nibble on while you get your mani or pedi.The staff is nice, but they were a little rough with me during the pedi and threw my shoes out of the way at one point. Nothing overly aggressive, I just would have liked them to take more care and set them down gently, instead of tossing them like they did.My nails also peeled not long after the second manicure, though the first one was okay.I think its worth giving them a try and finding someone you really like to go back to each time for a consistent experience.

I love this place! Its my mani-pedi go-to spa about once a month. They have a mani-pedi-spa special $50 on Monday and Tuesday.Their products are chem-free, so no funky odors. Comfy massage chairs. The ladies serve you fruit and a choice of drink options. And oh yes, you get a great job done on your nails. I could go on and on! ❤

Very, very disappointed. I went to Jimmys for the first time six weeks ago, and had a pleasant experience and good nail care (although definitely on the high end: $50 for a mani-pedi). Talked my husband into getting his first pedicure, and took him to Jimmys. From the time we walked in we were treated as if they were doing us a favor. The mini-massages were given while chatting to other people, leaving my husband with a sore wrist and me with a sore shoulder from too hard pushing and not paying enough attention. The MOST irritating thing was that the manicure was done while we were in the pedicure chair, rather than us moving to the manicure station. (The shop was not busy at the time.) Twisting in the chair and holding my hand out in the air while nail polish is applied in a quick, slapdash manner is not my idea of a relaxing experience.Normally, I would have said something at the time, but because it was my husbands first experience, and I wanted him to enjoy himself, I said nothing. But I certainly will find somewhere else to get nail care from now on.

I had really rushed experience at Jimmys. I also got a gel manicure for the first time and expected it to last, but 4 nails peeled off after 6 days probably from being painted on too thick. The prices were also inconsistent. It said $35 online but was charged $40 when I left. Not worth the money in my opinion.
