I have tried many other nail salons in Bellingham but this one stuck out! The employees were very kind and actually seemed to care. I was also very happy with the final product. It was also very clean and nicely decorated. The employees were very patient and tentative with me and overall 10/10 experience! Thank you very much

Best Nail Salon in town. Going through some changes right now, but I hope be getting more staff, because David and his Wife Julie are so wonderful and do fantastic work. Plus just overall fair and great prices. Please call ahead to make an appointment. Worth the wait!!!

Very unhappy with my experience today. I went with my daughter, they were busy and asked us to come back in one hour. I was fine with that we did some shopping grabbed a bite and came back 55 minutes later. Their response was oh youre back. Go sit and wait. Okay thats fine. But we waited and waited 20 minutes later they still couldnt get started with us. We had to leave. Very sad.

Not impressed, but not disappointed. Let describe a little further so you get the whole picture. If you want to get your nails done well and not have to come back a week before your next appointment, I suggest you make it be known to your manicurist, and point out the things that are being done half-assed. Think about it, its not heart surgery. Why does almost every single manicurist do an awesome job on everything besides the very last step? I will tell you why, because usually they want you to pay after the acrylic and before the paint is laid. So, that means you tip before the job is finished, so in my experience at DJ Nails, (every single time)the are excited to be finished, and see their is no reason to go out of their way to try to please, so they hurry though the most important part of the procedure. The color and UV coat.

Boy is this place a piece of work. I am completely appalled by the quality of work and even more with the customer service provided by the owner, David.First off I called a head of time to ask if they had RED tips & black acrylic powder, and they told me yes and quoted me $24. So I made an appt at noon. When I asked over the phone who I would be seeing, they told me David or Kim.So I came in today at 11:55, and the lady who Im assuming was Kim started to do my nails. We talked about what I wanted, and she came to find out they dont have red tips. I said, thats ok, if you can polish them red underneath, thats fine. While she filed and placed the tips on, she was really gentle and effective. Then after she applied acrylic to one nails, David took over. He was the exact opposite. On top of the fact that he was pretty aggressive (he even made my thumb bleed) He seemed rushed (which didnt help because I was still Im here for over an hour) and irritated that he had to do my nails. He kept having to go back after buffing and reapply acrylic. Polish job was super shoddy. The polish job was super messy, inconsistent, he left my fingers dirty, didnt even put polish on one, & the gel he put on top was wrinkling, because he put too thick of a coat on. After the service was over, he rushed out and told me to pay with someone else.So I payed and left and turned right back around not even 5 minutes later & walked back in. I was apprehensive about asking for my money back because of a previous review I had read about David. The way it was handled was NOT ok. I asked the lady for my money back, and she called David. He offered to fix it, but after my experience here, I preferred not to & requested a full refund. When I told him why I wanted it and he told me oh, so its about the money and so I guess you must be a perfect hairstylist so I told him no, but also let him know I wouldnt treat someone like this and have comped services that cost more than this. He then threatened me saying dont worry, I know your name and where you work so I told thats fine Im leaving a negative review on Yelp, because the way you are treating me and the quality of this service is not ok. He then threatened me again with a negative Yelp review. I have now been waiting for this man for over 45 minutes to come remove the nails and give me a refund as I agreed to do.Update:David finally arrived around 2:15 PM. He came in with his camera phone ready and recording (which he handed to the young lady in the nail salon). This is when he tried to flip the script on me and act like I was the one being ridiculous. He then argued with me the entire time told me again in a very agitating tone, sorry I cannot be perfect like you. Finally when I brought up the way he treated me during the service including the fact that someone else star th ed my nails and that she was a lot nicer. He offered to soak off and clean my nails, but after having spent the last 2 and half hours in that nail salon, and being insulted & treated the way I was, I opted to have him just drill off the acrylic and remove the tips. Upon walking out he continued to egg me on.Honestly, Im convinced he does this to set people up, first agitating them & making threats on the phone, because theres no proof and then coming in with the camera so he can act like he did nothing wrong in the first place. His tone was very fake, like that of someone who knows theyre wrong and wants to agitate you to make you seem like a bad person.

The pedicure I had was incredible- definitely not stingy with time and effort. An excellent price for some serious feet pampering.

She did a fine job on my pedicure but my manicure is awful. they left nail polish all over around my nails and didnt paint up to the top of my nails and my nails are all different shapes. The mani peti took over two hours which i was expecting 1.5 hours at the most.

Best place ever! Always the best price in town and always quality, Ive been going here fr 2 years and Ive never walked out of there without perfect nails! They take their time and really make sure you get exactly what you want. Julie does beautiful designs on my acylics that are truly art, and their hot stone massage pedicure is amazing. Dont be scared off by the low prices, this is just one of bellinghams best kept secrets!
