It has been years since I have went to a salon to get my nails done. Two days ago on May 29th 2019 I went to Beauty Nails with my daughter for her birthday. I went in so excited but walked out so disappointed. I feel like I paid more and got the worst results. Acrylic nails are typically expected to last about 2 weeks & gel is considered the no-chip manicure. If thats the case how come 3 of my nails are already gone? The nail on both of my index fingers are completely gone & took a good portion of my real nail with each one & my right thumb nail broke in half less than 24 hours after getting them done. To say that i am upset would be such an understatement! Here are some photos of my botched nail job.

While the staff was very nice and personable, they did an absolutely terrible job on my pedicure. Didnt take care of my cuticles/dead skin, they just kind of mimed around the nail? And actually managed to nick my big toe, causing it to bleed! They dont know how to clip or shape the actual toenail either, they just saw into your nail bed with an emery board (which is painful!).I didnt want the worker who cut me to continue working on my feet, so I requested another worker to finish the job. Unfortunately he had as much sense for painting nails as a 4 year old, he got polish all over my skin and in between my toes even! Ive never had a worse pedicure.

This place is not good and not worth what I paid for a full set. I just got them done and it looks like I need a fill, not to mention they didnt even do them the right way. They did gel nails I wanted acrylic, and now my thumbs are throbbing and burning from whatever they used. Also now I have to schedule another nail appointment with someone tomorrow to get them off and ones that I want done on😡. This place is such a huge joke, definitely not high quality like when they were over by Macys.

So this is Beauty Nails poor art work! he was so slow, And he cut my skin along my pinkie nail... he colored the wrong nail silver, The colors I picked out he said he was out after he started painting. Twice he did this!I didn’t choose this white glitter color... well the under coating’ anyway! If I known this is what it was gonna look like I would’ve stopped him. The paint is so far away from my skin it doesn’t look pretty at all! Looking pretty gosh darn SAD!He still charged me full price. After I asked if I was gonna get a discount cause I didn’t like how my nails turned out.Makes me so upset this ruined my whole night!I will never go back there again.

I have been to beauty nails twice now for my pedicure. I have some serious ingrown nails issue and honestly they do a great job with cleaning my nails and the nail polish application is excellent which i am very picky about, Good work should always be appreciated! They do a good job on my nails, and are very sweet and friendly.

I got my nails done and they mangled my poor fingers . They cut open 4 of my fingers. Would not go here . They are not good at doing nails at all they are bumpy and crooked.

Not an amazing experience but it was cheap and my nails look acceptable for the most part. Hoping they hold up though! I didn’t read reviews before going... but lesson learned. Just took a while but the service was still good.

They really take care of us and did our nail so nice as we needed. We were students and also gave us a student discount. They take they time to do there jobs and very clean place.Recommended!!!

These guys are awesome! The new owner is fantastic and always attentive and friendly! Mom and have been coming here all summer and have received great service with quality nails and toes done each time! They even gave special attention and gift to my mom before she headed in for surgery! Highly recommended!!

I used to love coming here to get my nails done. But recently whenever I go they mess up my nails. This time around some of my nails were thicker then others. My nails were crooked! The shape was all off. It was a horrible experience!! Never going back! Time to find a new nail salon.

It was so amazing because it was my first pedicure. The have massage chairs and when you put your feet in the water it may seem very hot but after that it feels so good. When they scrub your feet it tickles. The people who work there are very nice and one of them had their nails painted. It was the greatest experience ever!!😁😁

Loved my pedicure! It was almost two hours long. Very relaxing and all around great experience. Very reasonable rates!

Daniel and Tenny are very friendly and skilled at what they do! Nice setting, music is very soothing. Clean and professional. Nice location inside Bellis Fair Mall. My daughter and I went to get a pedicure and she had the stone massage as well.

I had the worst experience of my life at this nail salon today. They told me over the phone it would be $25 when they finished they charged me $35. The entire setting was the most unprofessional, poor quality, bad customer service and took an hour and a 1/2 just 2 fill my acrylics and replace a couple nails. My nail Tech did not speak an ounce of English and any time I tried to talk to him he would have to have somebody come in translate. I ask the nail techs there if he had a license because his dusk was the only task that didnt have his certification plaque on the wall. Poor value poor quality bumpy acrylic all of my nails are different lengths and he didnt even remove a 100% of the pink nail Polish I had on previous to coming in period I am appalled and that was the 1st time I had ever gone there and it will be the last. I made sure to focalize my frustrations upon leaving the store. I was not reimbursed back any of my money and I was not apologized to either.

Love it . Nail technicians were sweet inviting. They have a menu of what type of pedicures they give. 🤯 they take their time and are clean.... clean ❤!!!!! The massaging chairs are AWESOME

The new management is amazing! The massage included with the pedicure is top notch! They try so hard and care so much! The place is impeccably clean. So glad I walked in here. This is my new spot, for sure!

Absolutely horrible. I spend two hours there, got knicked countless times by the nail file drill, and even had my natural nail on my finger split in half because there was dirt under my nail and they took off the acrylic that was there prior and didnt need to be removed. Unfortunately, i am not impressed and not happy with the result. I love the color. But the rest of the final product was not worth the $33 I spent there.

I went here for the first time today. They are under new management and the service I received was excellent. Danny was a perfectionist with my gel manicure. He took his time and paid close attention to detail. He even gave me a discount when I mentioned that I am a student. Everyone was very kind and professional.

They were really nice and let me get my feet done after the other place took so long and had so many late appointments that my wait time was increased from 20 minutes to over an hour. They did a really good job and did it in a reasonable time and was even 10$ cheaper than the other place! I am definantly going to go there again when I need my feet done.

When I went to get my nails done here I asked for then to be square shape and they made them coffin shaor. The color I picked out ended up not being the right shade. My nails also ended up breaking, a diffetent one each day. When going vack to get them fixed, he was in too much in a hurry and over filed, and messed up the nail he was supposed to fix. My experience with this nail salon was not good at all and I wont be going there in the future

Weve been coming here a long time but now under New ownership it is awesome! Starts with a free bottled water and time taken to do it perfect. Awesome job tonight!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. The guy who did my nails did not know what he was doing. In all my life, I’ve never had such a horrible job done on my nails. It was bad. Two already came off and I just had them done last night, and the polish is a hott mess. And I just can’t say enough how badly he did on my nails. I paid mad tipped anyhow. Because I am too nice. The place was very filthy dirty as well.

I made an awful last minute decision to go to this salon for a fill. Initially the place looks nice and the guy who helped me was very welcoming. After being told it would only take a half hour I sat in the chair for an hour and a half for what I was expecting to be a quick and simple fill. The guy kept dipping the brush in the acrylic and wiping it off on a paper towel like something was wrong and he then continued to put that same acrylic on my nails it looked ok until he then took the drill file tool and filed away all the acrylic he had put on my nails; leaving my nails as thin as my natural nails (very weak/thin) after telling him “can you add some more acrylic, I work with my hands a lot” he said ok but continued to go head and paint them with the gel polish. After the first coat you could see dimples And dust particles in the polish and when I pointed it out he huffed as if I was being picky. He then buffed them and then painted them; after removing my hands from the light my nails were wrinkled as if they burnt under the light. So I told him I’d like to just be on my way because I was already an hour behind and very dissatisfied with the service. I kindly paid the $30 dollars before crying in frustration and asking for my money back. He then said no refunds and just stared at me until I threatened to make a bad review. Then he settled to give me half my payment back. Another girl waiting to get her nails done then asked to see mine and ended up leaving because of how awful they were. So please do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money or time by visiting this shop. The other shop in the mall (nail tech, by kohls) I’ve always had good experiences with so if you’re at the mall and in a pinch stick to nail tech not this one!! (It won’t allow me to attach a photo or I would!)

Outstanding pedicure by Lucky!! All that I need now is a nap! Very relaxing experience!! I will be back!! The best part is it was affordable and they didn’t do any pushy upscale!

I went here almost a year ago, it was the first time I ever got acrylics and I havent been back since. The lady barely talked at all. She got the shape all wrong. And they chipped the next day! Within a week, they were almost all fallen off. Ill go just about anywhere else but here. Dont waste your time and money here. Spent $40 here and got the exact same style/color at a different place for half the price.

Terrible experience!I went for gel pedicure. Well i am not complaining person BUT this is not ok so, they are not applying enough manicure to cover my nails. It is all see through. Asked for another layer and the guy applied wrong color and i said that is not it and i think he didn’t understand what i am saying and different guy came to help him and what he did was just touching. Looked exactly same as one layer before. STILL SEE THROUGH.

Not impressed at all. Made an appt to get nails and toes done at the same time. Been here over an hour now and got my nails filled but not polished, and the guy has been working on simply getting the gel off my toes for 30 minutes and still polish on my toes. I don’t think this guy knows what he is doing. I will not return

The water was freezing cold. She filed my nails terrible. 3 people worked on my feet.... they didnt put the separators between my toes so it kept getting messed up and he just kept layering the paint... he puts the shoes on me and they are on the opposite feet.... NEVER GO HERE. I do not recommend.

I’ve been to a lot of different nail salons since moving to Bellingham and I will never go anywhere else but here! Danny took such good care of my nails he is a perfectionist and they look absolutely perfect. I also got a pedicure and it wasn’t rushed at all they massaged me for way longer than I expected and applied multiple coats. I also got my eyebrows done there and it was soo reasonably priced and they look absolutely perfect. They are so nice in there and give you water and are so personable! Best nail salon EVER!!!

The people were really nice, but in the beginning there were some confusion about what I wanted. I stopped by a few days ago to ask if they have gel mail forms and they said yes so I decided to try them out. But it turns out they only have gel polish, not the forms, so I had to get nail tips.The technician was careful most of the time, but when he was filing my nails he wasnt really paying attention so I got two cuts from that. Then when he was dipping my nails and filing them, he shaved off too much of the colors so some spots had less color and looked almost transparent.Really wonderful people, but the result was not worth the price.

I’ve been here once and only once. My mom and I had the a really bad experience here. I don’t know what they did but they burned my moms finger with some chemicals when doing her nails. They didn’t even wait for me to get out of the pedicure chair before they started doing my nails. (They actually did part of them while I was getting a pedicure) They also got the acrylic dust in my eyes which sucked. Wouldn’t go here again and I’ve told all of my friends, family, and coworkers as well not to go here. *Also as an edit for the owner- I went here sometime ago (not in the last week or even month) and have never been back after that experience.

Tanny is the best..I always have a good experience when I come in. I am remembered my nail colors and my style are remembered, making it easy to always get what i want. Recommend Beauty Nails to anyone looking for a nail salon.

By far the WORST dip set Ive ever had. They guys who did mine and my friends nails did not know what they were doing they kept looking at each other to see what they should be doing next. Whoever licensed these people should revoke them. Worst money Ive ever spent. Im only giving 1 star because I cant selecr 0.

They said literally 10 words to me the whole time. I have gel paint all over my hands and fingers. It bled into my cuticles and the weirdest part is she filed my nails after she painted them. Then she tried cutting off the Polish she got in my fingers with a cuticle cutter after I asked her not to use one. She also tried filing off the Polish on my finger tip and when it didnt come off with the cuticle cutter or file she shrugged and went to the register. They look HORRIBLE.Another employee just sat on her laptop watching a loud movie, eating and coughing without covering her mouth. I rushed to the next nail place. I dont have a lot of money but I go out to do my nails to treat myself once a month... I just ran to the other nail salon....Im very upset and disappointed.

I hate to leave a bad review but I honestly got the worst gel manicure ever here last week, there was no one in sight so they got me in right away but it took about 15 minutes, the polish was so patchy, they didnt allow my nails to cure under the light long enough it was honestly all just horrible. The lady doing my nails was really nice but she was just so hurried and picked up her phone every chance she got which was awkward, I felt like an inconvenience. I much prefer Top Nails on sunset, better work and better price!

Very unsaticfied with the skill level for dip nails. The nail tech did not soak my old dip nails off, but picked and ripped them off causing me pain and ripped off my own growth. He did a poor job and left polish and glue around my fingers. My nails look like a 3rd grader did them. Not cool.

Friendly service. When we were there only one spoke English. But they all tried to talk and conversation. It was amazing pedi.

Went in for a Gel Polish change at 330pm and they sat me down immediately and the guy who typically greets customers started applying the Polish remover. By the time it hit 5pm and I still had no Polish put back on I looked around and honestly thought I was on some hidden camera prank show. Candid Camera, Punked... something!! Long story short, despite a coworker attempting to fix the damage that was already done to my nails, they still look as if I let a three year old play beauty parlor and I was the guinea pig! As for the guy who practiced on my nails, bless his heart...I hope he improves... practice makes perfect and I have faith he will get better eventually!

I go back to this place whenever Im in town. They are consistent. And, accomodating. Tanny is awesome!

Under new ownership and well worth the visit! I stopped in for a mani/pedi and had the best experience with the most friendly staff. Incredible attention to detail, a lot of massages and special touches. The new owner, Danny, is very friendly and wanted to be sure I was very happy. I will be a regular for sure!

Made an appointment for me and a friend. The person who did my nails didnt give me the relaxing spa experience. She made me wash my hands instead of getting a bowl of water to soak my nails. She rushed through my nails and skipped the top coat on one of my hands. My nails looked like i had done them myself there were lots of bubbles. One of my nails on the hand without the top coat smuged when I got home. After rushing through my nails the lady helping me rushed off to help someone who had just walked in and wanted a pedicure. I felt like she thought shed make more money off of the person who wanted the pedicure and so she blew me off. I dont think Ill be back.

Always a pleasure to talk to. Professional and welcoming environmet. After finding this place, I dobt go anywhere else. Danny in particular is the best, works with me and knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

The WORST acrylic nails I’ve ever had done!!! No exaggeration. Everything that could have been wrong was. The nail bed was bumpy and uneven and the shape was soo off! There were gaps in the acrylic, I had to ask him if he would fix it. I asked if he would fix the unevenness and he said yes I’m not done yet. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.. it was painful to watch him botch my nails so bad. I was going to get a pedicure too but after that no way! On top of the beyond horrible job it took almost 2 hours! Very nice but that doesn’t make it ok. Another guy painted my nails and he didn’t say anything about the horrible job. I’m so mad at myself for paying but I just had to get out of there. 30$ lesson learned I guess.Worst part is I read these reviews and didn’t listen. Dumb, dumb, dumb!! Don’t be like me, listen, and do not waste your money!

I go here a lot. I like it here. My experience in other salons were horrible, this place is the best I have been to so far. The ladies talk to me & do exactly what I want. If I bring in a design the guy in there that looks Gd up has your back when it comes to that! I see some pretty snooty people come through that door too. You cant please everyone I guess.

They are not honest. I called them to see if I can pay online and they responded very rude and hung up the phone and never called back. Do not waste your time there

I have never had my nails look so bad from a nail place. It took 2 and a half hours for the worst job ever. My nails are uneven and lumpy! Do not go to this place!

Terrible customer service and they do not even know what they are doing. Took my wife there for a shellac change and she was being look after by a guy who clearly has never done one of this before. Wife then asked if someone else could take over and they said come back in half hour. We came back and then were told to wait for an hour. We then decided to leave.Will never go back there. Very poorly run.

Worst experience ever!!! No customer service skills. The lady at the front desk was just busy in her phone and spoke so rudely. There was not a single customer in sight and she said she couldnt do my nails. Wasnt even understanding half the things I was saying. Better hire some professional workers.

Only went here because it was open late. Went for a gel manicure. Intitally the lady was nice. When I walked in, there was nobody. I was sitting with my nails soaking in alcohol. 5 mins pass and a lady and her kid walks in. They want a mani and pedi. Lady walks over and works on the kid, which is understandable while mine soaks. 15 mins total pass and Im sitting there waiting patiently. So at this point my fingers are uncomfortable and beyond the limit so I gently, kindly say to one of the other technicians it has been 15 mins and I dont think my nails need to be soaking anymore so he says we like to soak for 10 mins so Ill let her know. She comes back, pretty much 180 degrees different, looking irritated, by the looks of her face. She starts peeling the gel off of my nails, harshly, and I kind of pull back because obviously they were causing me discomfort. She goes, its because you needed more soaking. So I said no youre pushing (with the tool) on my skin (pointing at the skin) and I repeat this to her twice. And she gives me the dirtest look. Doesnt apologize, nothing. As if its my fault. So I am pretty annoyed at this point if you cant tell. So she starts getting sloppy and aggressive with me and not paying attention to detail. Keeps roughly grabbing my hands. Of course starts talking smack about me in Vietnamese. Was about to snap at her but knew she wouldnt be able to understand me anyway. Horrible customer service.After she was done, she kept spraying an unnecessary amount of alcohol all over my hands instead of gently doing so just on my fingernails (to wipe off excess gel polish). Then, she barely massaged my hands/arms (as expected). Just slabbed lotion on my hands and arms, then got up and left. Some of the gel polish was stuck to my actual skin so I had to tell the other technician (who I let know about the 15 min thing) and he was kind of enough to carefully file the nails down before I paid for the service.Fair to say that I am never coming back here again. I get a gel manicure every 3 weeks and trust me, this is not worth $30. There are other places in Bellingham that do a fantastic job for $23-25.

I got a french top manicure done here and its the absolute worst mani Ive had. I mean they were nice but I just think they could have done a better job.

I was there for nearly two hours for a pedicure. That was not my wait time. My toe nails were cut too short, I was nipped once, and paint job is not that great. Wont be back. It is cheap, you get your moneys worth.

Wont be back. A standard gel manicure took over an hour and I left with still having dead skin around my nails. They had to switch between 2 nail techs because one of them couldnt paint my nails I guess. And less than a week later and the gel polish that I paid $32 for is already peeling up.

The two male workers were fantastic!

If I could leave zero stars I would this place is awful theh refuse the nail files on everyone and dont wash hands between guests and cut my toe and left the nails cracked
