This is a pleasant complex bordering a beautiful park. After reaching out to several other apartment complexes (including one that asked me to apply before theyd even be able to show me an apartment), the professional and personable response I got from Valley Park Plaza was a welcome change.
Just viewed this place on line /web site. Nice place.
5:30 in the morning and the upstairs is slamming things again. Noise complaints, lease violations, and police responses at 3am for last 3 months!
Fantastic response to my needs.
Moldy walls and floor boards leaky pipes and vary loud naighbors threw out the week
Poor plumbing and rusted stove.
Moving here soon. Excited to make my home here. They have tons of wonderful amenities and its very conveniently located near the max.
Its a older complex of Apts. But they are roomy, spacious, big and has washer dryer hookups. I would live there. But damn get rid of the stairs.
RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Gave proper notice, paid an early termination fee, had an appointment with management to do move out walk thru that the manager did not show up for or send someone from Dalton in his place, manager was at a training instead of keeping his appt with me. I did what Dalton rep said to do is put keys in envelope and put it in the rent drop. YEARS LATER found on my CREDIT FILE A JUDGEMENT SAYING SINCE I DIDNT TURN KEYS IN THEY WENT TO COURT TO GET A POSSESSION JUDGEMENT!!!! I was not notified and I did give a forwarding address at VOA so I was easy to contact.i had to move due to domestic violence situation. My Volunteers of American domestic violence worker was with me and also spoke to manager. Just getting on my feet then find a rental judgement!!! RUN AWAY
Went here to inquire about apartments a long time ago before rental prices skyrocketed. The people were very nice and we got to look at an empty unit immediately. They were up front about the place needing work overall and didnt try to polish that turd and I appreciated the realism. The unit itself was very standard apartment nothing special really. Nothing horrible either just kind of average. We ended up passing because we decided to not live in beaverton, but at the time it seemed like an okay place to live.
Living here currently. I like the current manager and maintenance is fairly quick to help. Hopefully rent doesnt increase again. If it does I might move. Courtyard is a great place for kids to play.
I thought I could make a home at Valley Park Plaza, but I was sorely mistaken. I had maintenance issues the entire time I lived there, from having my move-in delayed 3 days because of leaking and clogged plumbing, to a fridge that dripped about a half a cup of liquid every day and an oven on which the top heating element never came. The on-site manager repeatedly denied that these were real problems and only fixed them just before I moved out after months of asking. I had to submit repeated requests, and they never told me what days they’d be entering the unit (which I requested because I have an indoor cat), so I was only able to tell they had been in because of the trash they left and the dirty footprints on my carpet. They never told me how it went either (whether they were waiting on parts and would come back later, or whether they had decided that this is how an oven is supposed to work, etc.) until I called or emailed to ask.Aside from all the appliances having issues, the windows were terrible too. When I moved in, single pane windows didn’t seem to be a big issue, but all through the winder condensation built up on every window even if I wiped them down with a towel. This meant that black mold built up in the rims. I kept trying to deal with it thinking I was doing something wrong but then I spoke to the neighbors and they all had the same problem, and one family even had to move out since they had a newborn and the black mold had spread to cover a whole wall. They weren’t the only ones to move out either! Despite the terrible conditions management increased the rent hundreds of dollars, forcing 5 of my neighbors to leave even though they’d been there for years. Don’t count on your rent to stay affordable here!I would especially warn anyone not to move into any of the below-ground two bedroom units or the apartments above them. These apartments have flooded multiple times: recently in the summer of 2015 and the winter of 2016, forcing everyone in that section (including the second story) to move out right before Christmas! A huge remodel effort was undertaken on these apartments, but instead of adding any pumps or flood protection they just piled sand bags around the edges, that still hadn’t been removed months later when I moved out.All in all, with the broken down appliances, poor communication from the management, out of date plumbing and windows, flooding, mold, and skyrocketing rent, I would never recommend that anyone live here.
First of all, this is an apartment complex, not an apartment rental agency as the category says.Large apartments for the price, smoking prohibited on the premises, speedy repairs, street lamps in the parking areas need to be fixed though.
Vile management, the worst people Ive met in my 35 years on this Earth and not even worth getting paid to live there and Ill never get my 6 years and 8 months back. Ive come to terms with this but it still bothers me sometimes because they charged me for repairs I had to perform myself among other things they might sue me for mentioning. Surveillance culture is big in this place too so watch yourselves if youre there. Dalton was unhelpful and cruel before gentrification came to town and became even worse after.
Extremely nice manager pool in summer cozy and cheep
Bad management and really poor maintenance. Paper thin walls and favorism between residents. Rats in the buildings were as bad as the moldy office. Run from all Dalton run properties.
Soo Cool Good Area
Nice apartments with excellent management.
