The community was really nice and quiet, the upgraded apartment was pretty with a lot of amenities. Mr. Summers customer service was amazing he was really helpful and really nice. Im really excited to move in!
I lived at this community from February 2019 through September 2020, and it was my first renting experience. The first year was great and I didn’t have any complaints/issues, but I started to experience mice in my apartment in June 2020–in a 4 week time frame, I caught 6 mice. I notified the leasing office who sent an exterminator to my apartment, but that wasn’t helpful. The exterminator simply provided sticky traps which I had already purchased, but no other preventive maintenance was done to my apartment or the building as a whole. My dad filled holes in the walls and floor boards, but the mice continued to find their way in. I would come home to mouse droppings on my sheets and pillows, and was woken up one Saturday morning at 5am to a mouse climbing up the blinds in my room. Things got so bad, that I stopped sleeping there and stayed with my parents and only went back to shower and change my clothes. I ended up terminating my lease 3 months early and obviously moved out. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this community.
Awesome, I love living here. The office is very healthy and Joanna have been so kind and understanding. She is fantastic.
Older buildings that need updating (bathroom plumbing, floor boards under the carpets, balcony boards are moss covered). Paying $50 for parking pass & another $100 for a visitor pass is outrageous. I feel like Im being treated like a child with all the rules (no grills, parking passes, whats allowed/not allowed on balcony). Cost of rent is high for the lack of amenities (no pool, no bbq area.. there is a dog park & playground, and workout equipment). There is no outdoor electric accessibility if you want to vacuum your car or do any minor car work. Trash bins are constantly overfilled & trash left outside the bins. I will not be renewing my lease.
The apartment community is ok. It’s quiet, not a lot of noise at anytime of the day. Not a fan of there being no controlled access as anyone can come into the buildings. Have gotten a handful of individuals attempting to sell services. There is also an issue with residents not putting their trash in the actual dumpster but around it. Maybe two dumpsters per location would help as it can cause rodents if continued as such.
Horrible mice problem ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Don’t waste your money .
The Apartments are very very nice, really love the renovated kitchens they are lovely. The staff was so helpful during the whole process.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend these apartments. the rodent problem is ridiculous and there’s wasps coming in my bathroom through the window. i have put in multiple requests and nothing has been done. about 4 1/2 - 5 months ago we had new neighbors move in next door and all the sudden roaches started appearing in my apartment. i have emailed, called, and put in multiple work orders and nothing has been done about it and i am fed up. i found one on my 2 year old daughter. enough is enough. if something isn’t done i’m contacting the health department and might seek legal action.
The apartment and community is ok. Its just the MICE!!! Ive had multiple visits from the exterminator and the problem has only got worse. We hear them running in the ceilings and recently one climbed in bed with me. Ive been a resident for six years but Ive had enough.Recently, my tub started peeling. I put in arequest and was informed that I had to pay almost $200. I just canceled the request. You would think it would be a courtesy since Ive comprised with the mice for so long.
Pros: Great customer service especially during these unprecedented times during COVID-19. Staff and outside contractor are helpful, answers questions and assists and takes care of concerns in an acceptable time frame. Community is small and quaint with convenient nearby locations.Cons: Apartments can hear all sounds from above, next door, and across halls.
Living here has been truly disgusting and a bad experience! I wish I could give a rate of 0..I have had a roach infestation, now I hear mice crawling in the walls/ceilings, my neighbors above me are inconsiderate, they play music so loud on a consistent basis. Towson Crossing units have a HORRIBLE mouse infestation!!!! You can tell the complex all day and they’ll send an exterminator and the issues are still ongoing!
I love my apartment and my environment neighbors are nice and it’s really quiet. I love the different activities that they have here at the apartment.
Overall its nice living here, the apartment isnt big but its cozy. I have met some other tenants and they are nice as well. The dog park is very convenient to let the dogs play off leashes. I do wish more residents cleaned up behind their animals though.
For a decade, I have doing business with Morgan Properties. I can truly say that they have a found a diamond in the rough in Jackie as far as management goes. Last October, I transitioned out of the military. I left my belongings in storage. I downgraded from a two bedroom to a one bedroom. This October, I set a plan in place to upgrade from one bedroom to two bedroom so that I no longer had to pay storage. I was not getting consistent feedback from her office staff as far as upgrading to a bigger unit. So, I reached out to her. Her response time was less than twenty four hours. She is genuine, resourceful, and knowledgeable. She dissects concerns by reaching out directly to her tenants. She offers legitimate alternatives. She moves mountains until her tenants reach a sound solution. Great problem solver. Overall, the BEST manager in my decade of experience of doing business with Morgan Properties.
Living at Towson Crossing has been awesome. My dogs and I really enjoy this pet friendly community. You’re in a central location and close to EVERYTHING ! And the office staff is great!
So far I have enjoyed my living in Towson crossing! I feel at home and it’s very spacious ! my favorite part is the in unit washer and dryer! The office is very friendly and helpful! Regina is the best ! Contact her to lease!
I’ve been a resident since mid-March and so far so good. Barry in the leasing office was extremely helpful explaining pricing and amenities as well as showing me the model apartment and a potential unit that matched what I was looking for. He showed real interest in meeting my needs and I was able to complete an application and received approval very quickly. Since move-in I have been able to speak to the leasing office about any question I’ve had which have been addressed in an expeditious fashion. Time will tell, but so far I have had a great experience here and look forward to continued comfort at a reasonable rent at Towson Crossing.
Amanda was great she worked with my dad, very professional we lived at 1015 Halstead Rd Apt A2 we lived there 4 yrs and she really made it feel like home we appreciated the time there and highly recommended and ask for Amanda. Thank you
We have been living here since November and have not had any problems our neighbors are nice. In addition the leasing office has been informative when needed.
I will recommend Towson crossing apartments to everyone.I stay there for a year but because of job and relocation l have leave this nice apartment with nice people. Now for office workers their awesome in dealing with occupants.Regina warren is cool, with her smile, would go every mile to help a customer.Bijan Hite, another very good worker in the office love to help customers.Amanda is also a good worker and will also help customers to resolve issues with the office.
Wish I could give it a ZERO! Do not be fooled by what you think is a nice place. The walls are paper thin, and don’t get me started on the floors! I know exactly when my upstairs neighbors get their day started, decide to shower and finally go to bed! I hear it all. It’s far too expensive to have such mediocre problems like squeaky floors! This place sucks. There is also a MAJOR rodent problem. The exterminator doesn’t do nothing but put big bulky traps down that the mice avoid. Hell a blind man can see those traps to avoid. I had no scheduled maintenance, yet came home from work to a whole power drill in my apartment?? And when I did have a maintenance request, it took TWO WEEKS to replace my microwave that wasn’t heating food. The tenants don’t clean behind their dogs. I had a beehive on my balcony for the first month I moved in, until I paid an exterminator myself to remove, after bringing it to the office’s attention multiple times. IT’S NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Towson Crossing apartments are very nice and close to my job. They are very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for the help.
Resident since 2013, my family includes three adults plus one pet. Considering this is a collegiate community, we have had no complaints about excessive noise or parties during weekends/holidays. Our maintenance requests have been minor and handled in timely fashion. The community is diverse and friendly; Staff very cordial. Sufficient to say we really like it here.
I have been a resident for not quite 3 years (and I am the oldest tenant in my building, that should say a lot). The parking is an absolute CATASTROPHE, and customer satisfaction (especially from management) is subpar at BEST. Long story short, I wheeled the refrigerator out to clean/check behind it. Per management, it is my responsibility to clean behind the appliances. Upon wheeling the refrigerator back, it ripped the tile (literally paper thin sticky paper). Immediately, I called to report this issue, which eventually had to be escalated. In the midst of all of this, a maintenance man visited the apartment for a separate issue, and he expressed that this was common. That even there own maintenance men have issues with the refrigerators tearing the tile “all the time”. Upon reaching out (AGAIN), I spoke with the property manager where I was told that I would be held responsible for the damage that THEIR refrigerator did to THEIR floor. I was floored (no pun intended)! I then asked why, and one of the explanations given was, other tenants move their refrigerators and don’t experience floor damage. How could such comparison be the reason for decision making?! Needless to say, this issue is still ongoing and I am waiting to hear back from the Regional Manager, Ms. Angela Billings. Something HAS to be done!As I digress, it was my plan to stay at this property until I could actually purchase my home. Unfortunately, with the recent events (this event was just the straw that broke the camel’s back), I am seriously rethinking my stay.
Horrible rat infested property! Morgan properties covers issues up instead of handling them appropriately!
I love the place. It’s quiet and I get to take walks around with my headphones in.I also love the fact that we have a shopping centre right by makes it easy when I want a little sandwich or lacking in milk I can get something quickly. The neighbours are polite. Also the staff is polite. It’s a cool place to live at as long as you’re kind to everyone, you’ll be living well!
I have been living at Towson crossing for 2years now and I have to say i love it. My experience with staff started off rough due to delayed response to concerns but now things have improved tremendously.now when i report a concern I receive an update of when my concern will be addressed within 24hrs. I love my apartment because the location is safe, quiet and access to many shops within walking distance. My favorite things about my apartment is that its spacious, I have a walk in closet and the convenience of a washer and dryer in my apartment.
I have been living in one of the unit for 9 months now and its been one issue after another since day one. Most of the work that is done in the apartment is poorly done, the walls are very thin you can hear my tenant phone vibrating upstairs from me. This place is infested with mice in which I am sure they will never get rid of. I noticed mice activities after only a few days of moving in. I have an infant and she will never crawl on the floor because mice roam them at night and I think this is very unfair. Nevertheless, the rent is too high for us tenants being subjected to these living conditions. i dont think enough is being done to stop mice from entering and leaving residence apartment. There are holes everywhere and workers are too lazy to fill them or dont want to be bothered to move appliances around to fill and prevent those nasty mice from coming in. I cant wait to leave this place. I can deal with noisy tenants but nasty mice issues I can not tolerate. Lastly, workers come in and out of your apartment as they please, even when you asked to be notified numerous times, they still dismiss your request but the next time I catch someone in my apartment without notification trust me, i will not be polite at all. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. i dont think you will get the value for what you are spending each month. This apartment will not give you any passes for visitors like most complexes do. You will have to purchase a pass for $100.00 which is not feasible. All visitors must park on the street to prevent towing, My friend visited me from North Carolina to attend her God sons graduation and her car was towed. she had to pay $250.00 to get back her car and she ended going back to NC and cut her trip short. she did not want to park her car on the street because the night before a car ran into a parked car and damaged it. THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS THE WORST.
What should I say?? Went to visit my niece and for the entire 3 hour visit we listened to her upstairs neighbor walk. Its really sad and painful to know that this is what she had to deal with on a daily basis. Imagine being in your home, what should be a place of peace, and a hearing every step the apartment above you takes. I suggested she reach out to the property management, and to my surprise, she has done so twice. She even went the length of requesting a transfer because who knows, maybe the tenants above her have elephant feet, and the property manager doesnt care about its tenants well being. I know I dont live here, but my visit was horrific. No matter how loud we turned the tv, still heard every step taken. Save yourself sleepless nights, headaches and stress, move into a different complex that cares about its tenants, or at least has sturdy floors. Would love if I could give it a one, but google is far more pleasant than I am.
I’ve been only staying here for 3 months and everything has been going wrong. First of all it’s been all kinds of fees going on with the rent so you thinking the rent is going to stay the same but no your coming out over $100 more for rent..the sockets wasn’t working so they had to come fix that, The bathroom door didn’t shut because it wasn’t even, my bedroom didn’t have a lock, the dishwasher has a real disturbing smell to it which made the whole house smell, the tile under the rug was lifting, seen unrecognizable bugs, seen a real big black spider in the bathroom mind you I have a daughter, there’s now mice that had to be killed late last night, and now none of my company will come visit me because two of them car got towed. There’s never no where to park and $252 is ridiculous to pay to get your car back. The looks of this place is eye catching but it’s not worth staying in
Not safe at night way to dark if you leave on Halstead side. Also the kids from the school love to come and play in all the hallways & smoke
I like my apartment it’s cute some stuff needed to be done but it has been fixed. Bijan is so helpful, polite and Easy to communicate with. Everytime I speak to her the customer service is great. Helped me get back into my house fast after working all night 😘
I am a current resident and very disappointed with management. I moved to Baltimore 4 years ago and have lived at a total of 3 different apartment complexes which all had MICE. I explained my frustration with my past apartments Mice issues and was assured I wouldnt have this issue with Towson Crossing upon the move-in date. Granted - I love my apartment and amenities but a month into my lease, a mouse came running out of my kitchen and into my living room. I reported the problem to the office and received lack luster responses. I adopted a cat to cope with this issue and now I am being forced to pay a huge pet fee of $350. I understand you must pay a fee for a pet but asked for a discounted rate or to set up a payment arrangement because I am a college student and simply cannot afford it right now not to mention, I WOULDNT HAVE A CAT IF THE BUILDING DIDNT HAVE MICE! The assistant manager Barry who is great to work with, who is also very kind, thoughtful and very professional understood my frustration but the actual property manager is now attempting to evict me due to the pet fee that I cant afford right now although my rent and utilities are paid. After this treatment, I wouldnt recommend anyone to live at these apartments.
The absolute worst place to live!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Ran down raggedy apartments!! In the updated units they only updated the kitchen and jacked the prices up!! Infested with mice and roaches!! I’m working on my second year being here and I can not wait to leave this place! Over priced & you have to pay for parking to park where you pay over priced rent (crazy right)!?!? Also there’s never any street parking due to the entire complex trying to park on the street to avoid getting towed. My car was towed because there was literally no other place to park within a 10 minute walk to my apartment so I had to either park in the parking lot or walk 10 minutes to my apartment at 9pm and not to mention I’m 7 months pregnant. I hear complaints from my neighbors all the time about there cars being towed away. The Hot water in the shower literally only last 2 minutes & to keep it hot a little longer you have to flush the toilet. Vents leak when it rains! Hallways always musty.. when I run my dryer it causes a grease-like liquid to drip down the walls (sort of like as if the walls are sweating) it’s so gross! I can literally go all day, they try to paint this picture as if this is a great place to live but once you move on you start to notice how raggedy it really is .. don’t waste your money!!
My daughter and I moved in a month ago. We love our apartment the building is nice and quite and always clean. The office staff very nice and helpful. Maintenance comes on time their work very good and clean up after themselves. Overall wonderful community and neighborhood.
My sister and I have lived at Towson Crossing Apartment for 2 years already and we love living here it Regina in the office is a great person and all the people that work here are great
Ms.Bijan is very nice and helpful, i appreciate everything keep up the good work sweetie.
.We have bed bugs. Weve been being treated for it, which has taken two and a half months, when we were told it would probably only take 4 weeks. Its taken that long not because theyve sprayed every week, but because they had some weeks where they spectacularly messed up, and didnt spray even though we were all ready and prepared. Its disgusting. Add to that the fact that all of the office staff is incompetent except for one person, who you cant get to all the time. They wouldnt even bother to look up the time of the spraying in our apartment when I called for that information, saying it wasnt on the exterminators record sheet, when I have personally seen the sheets and seen the lines that say time in and time out. Apparently, getting up and walking five feet to open the binder where they keep those sheets is just too much work for a rent-paying customer.So. Bed bugs were the injury-- and what a massive, massive injury they are, I wouldnt wish these on my worst enemy-- and the staffs incompetence is the insult.Theyre also saying they might make us pay for the bed bug treatments, even though we sure as anything didnt have these when we moved in. The problems started shortly after we moved in. Maintenance is good, but you can never get them during the day. The only time weve ever been able to get maintenance down is when weve called the emergency team after hours. That really sucks when your air conditionings broken for the second time on a 100 degree day. BUT, the emergency crew is actually pretty good, and will get things done right. You just have to wait until 6 to be able to call them.
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT MOVE HERE. SERIOUSLY! The whole entire staff is ridiculously unhelpful with anything and everything. The maintenance team tries to put band aids on everything instead of actually fixing it. Parking is a nightmare! It’s been a frustrating experience from the start and I can not wait to get out of here! Please don’t let them fool you into moving in these poorly kept apartments. The reviews are horrible for a reason!!!
I have not lived at Towson crossing yet, however i did get a chance to Sit down with Bijan and discuss a potential lease agreement. The level of customer service that Bijan provided completely exceeded my expectation. I received stellar service and if my decision was solely based upon my interaction with her, than I wouldnt look further.
Again, we certainly apologize for the unavoidable and frustrating issues we have been experiencing with our fire system. As we have indicated to all residents, we have been working with various vendors to determine the cause of our system malfunctioning. We are hopeful that as of last week we have a correct diagnosis and are now awaiting the proposal to fix it correctly. We do know it is has nothing to do with un-insulated pipes and sprinkler heads. If you were in anyway mislead into understanding that to be the cause, I apologize. We will continue to keep all residents informed as to our progress. I assure you we are as eager as anyone to resolve this.
Not a pleasant place to live the neighbors are awesomeMaintenance is horrible you make several request and they never get fixedThey tell you things like purchase a window unit and a heater if your apartment is hot or cold even though its included and to be provided with your rentThere are several other issues I could go on and on about (my stove burners arent attached and the top of the stove is just sitting on the top, Ive come home to my refrigerator door open and now the light doesnt come on anymore, the non working sockets, the loud washing machine and horrible oder coming from it, none of the doors in my apartment close all the way, there is a constant draft running under my front door because of a broken window in the hallway) again i could go on and on but my main issue was listed above (It Was A Very Cold Winter) thank you for the sky high BGE Bills. Ive never seen roaches or mice but there are some very strange insects that visit every once in a while, the sad part is when I moved in I made a request for all these things to be repaired because they werent repaired upon my move in dateThe staff doesnt return your calls or try to help fix your issues they just apologize and thats very disappointingHands down I usually dont do this and ive never had a problem with other places that Ive lived but I will not renew my lease or advise anyone else to start a new one hereThis is in no way a rant this is a real life experience a true story and Im very humble and just trying to be honestPeace Love Light Positive Vibes and Infinite Blessings to you all😊
I have lived in this apartment complex almost 2 years. Their follow up time is terrible for maintenance request. The associates and manager at the leasing office are very disrespectful and don’t care about the tenants. They got my car towed bc of the new parking pass policy and blamed me because of their lack of follow up. People can’t afford to pay to get their vehicle out of impound and rent. I always pay my bills early and on time and will be leaving the complex because of my experience with the manager and associates at this office.
Moved in exactly 2 weeks ago and already have a few issues. Mice running around t night and other unrecognizable bugs. They really need to solve this issue ASAP. I didnt have mice issues at my previous apt complex.
Rented here for 2 years for my daughters college. The management does everything by the book. For a while we had the upstairs washer bubbles coming out of our toilet and mushrooms growing in our closet. We had water overflow from the AC which soaked the carpet, and management cleaned up, but they gave no electric credit for running the fans and dehumidifiers. The area was relatively safe and it was nice to have free campus bus service. Our car got broken into once in two years, and got keyed once, but there was no significant loss or damage. 6 months after we moved out, we were still stuck on an automated calling list with no easy way to get off. The staff are very professional and nice, but overall play by the book and are not focused customer satisfaction, which I guess is expected for a college rental area. Ill give it 2-stars, but likely better than average for places in the area, so say 3-stars if you read this.
Worst apartment since I been here car has been towed from the “private “ property 4 times no help from the property. They call my phone enormous times asking about if we could sign papers so we would not be charged extra... two months later charge me 985 bc we moved in for free. I move out May but I have been hospitalized due to the stress of living here. I can’t play with my son because I’m distributing the leasing office. If I could give the review of -10 I would.
I am giving this place two stars as the leasing consultant was very professional during my tour. However, the communication from the office staff is so poor that I couldnt give them more stars.I almost never write reviews however the lack of communication by the office staff has prompted me to write one to WARN future tenants to be AWARE of what they might be getting themselves into. If you are looking to move here please read this in its entirety, as I am almost positive you will change your mind.I was very interested in moving to the Towson Crossings. The outside of the place was nice and clean and the neighborhood seemed quiet. Bijan Hite, provided me with a tour of the community was very polite, honest, and knowledgeable about the community. I then decided that I would apply to the Towson Crossings. The same day I applied which was April 22nd 2019, I received a call later that afternoon from Bijan, communicating that I had been approved and that their property manager would be contacting me the very next day after the paperwork was finalized to discuss next steps. The next day I didnt receive a phone call from the property manager or anyone else from the office per my previous conversation with Bijan. Instead, I received an email notification informing me that the $100 holding fee had been debited from my account. Now let me add, when you complete the application it does indicate that the $100 holding fee will be debited from the card that was used to submit the application fee with. The money being debited from my card wasnt a huge issue since I was informed this would happen, however I assumed that before it would be taken from the card that someone would contact me to confirm that I was indeed interested in moving forward with the move in process. This very day I contacted the Towson Crossings and spoke with a male by the name of Berry, as my leasing consultant wasnt in the office. I shared my concerns regarding parking difficulties and other things I had saw while reading the reviews. Although, Berry tried his best to answer all of the questions, his responses were very short and he was dismissive almost as if my questions were bothering him. This phone interaction with Berry is what made me change my mind about moving to the Towson Crossings. On April 25th, I decided that I wasnt going to move forward with the move in process, and emailed Bijan informing her of this and requesting a refund of the $100 holding fee. I never received a return email confirming receipt, nor a phone. On April 26th, I contacted the office to inquire if the email I had sent had been received. Per Berry, it was received and that they forwarded the email to the property manager as well as Bijan and I was encouraged to contact the office on Monday April 29th. Today is Wednesday May 1st, and I had not received a follow up phone call or email addressing my refund of $100. I then contacted the office and received Berry again, who now inform me that I will not be receiving the refund of $100 as I had 72hrs. to request it.I then explained to Berry that I had applied for the unit on April 22nd; Received an approval that very same day. The $100 holding fee was debited from my account on April 23rd. April 24th would have been 24hrs. April 25th would have been 32hrs. April 26th (which is the day they received the cancellation notice per Berry) was 72hrs. Therefore, I should receive my money back. The money isnt the big issue, the larger problem is that they have poor communication, and Im having problems with a simple call back so I can only imagine that this will get worse and that issues will never get addressed. I am extremely happy that I followed my intuition and decided not to move forward with signing a lease here.FYI: To the property manager or whomever else is going to respond to this review to resolve my complaint. I have obtained the number as well as the address to corporate and have every intention of reporting my concerns to them to resolve my issues. To future residents, I hope this review helps.
Its just okay. Location is nice as stated. Very convenient. But the maintenance service is okay. They will eventually handle most of everything but Ive def experienced better. Place had mice which creeped me out. Exterminator only comes on Mondays which can be problematic if youre experiencing problems on a Tuesday (which happened to me)
Currently still a resident unfortunately, I gave this apartment complex 1 star because I expected More from them..My car was stolen from in front of my apartment and this is suppose to be considered private property. No one ever reached out about any survilance or anything. Theres also an alarm system in our building that constantly goes off.I have a newborn as well as a toddler who attends school. That alarm is very bothersome, especially at night. All weve been told was that the equipment does not belong to Towson crossing but yet its on your property in one of your buildings. The rental office rarely answers the phone.
Horrible place to live white neighbors smoking weed the smell is horrible mices are every we’re u hear them at night all the time I put pads out put chesse in the middle of a pad two Mice got on it when I woke up for work had to take it out I had rodent Sunapee and never seen bugs every were specially in the bathroom I’m not a dirty person at all and I don’t have a lot of junk have a house keeper come out to clean my house every 2 weeks and I just kno what to do u call Maintenance They come give u pads and. Barely Even want to come having anxiety Because I hate rodents one day I wanted to go stay hotel for a night the mice was so bad do not waste ur time please people love part had to call the police aleast 2 times in 1 night horrible experience
UnsatisfiedUpdate12/13/2018We been without kitchen lights for over a week..when we originally called last wednesday..the dude who answered was rude, cut me off and no one ever came..we called back just this past tuesday..they said that someone was going to be there..no one ever came again..its now friday and we call again..now they are saying someone came out on the 11th and that we must have a defective unit....*even though we were home all day and the light is still broken..they are disrespectful in the way they will try to insult your intelligence, blatant lies..idc if Michael jackson and nelson Mandela came, is my light fixed?? No so why must they waste time lying and making excuses oppose to fixing it..finally a week and a half later, our so called defective unit seems to be working fine and the bulb was finally changed..Something so small and effortless and they will do their best to leave a bad taste in your mouth oppose to just fixing it..Post #21.The parking is a mess. I was towed when i live here and decal displayed..2. They will send you a late fee for your entire rent even after it is paid if you do not also pay the utilities with the rent..other complexes allow you to pay this throughout the month and only bother you if the balance is too high..they will send you a late fee which more than doubles what is owed..30 dollars in utilities but the late fee is for the full 1000, they are predators!!3. I was threatened by some girl in the back office not to bring money orders to pay my rent and that they wont accept it next time i do..i told them sarcastically that Id consider what they were saying.. i told them about the convenience fee of 22 dollars to use online..she stated thats because your bank account isnt linked it wont charge a fee if you link your account..so what i do link the accounts and set up auto pay..guess what each auto pay comes with the convenience fee..i screen shot it and will be happy to post a link here...she blatantly lied and threatened not to take my rent..Im bringing a money order TODAY and i will be raising all hell if i hear anything remotely close to this nonsense..furthermore is not in my lease so, they can take my money or see me in court..All in all please dont waste your time until this place is completely revamped do not bother wasting your time and money ..it will cost you on avg an extra $220 just for convenience alone..then late fees on utilities that you should have more time to pay..furthermore some of the folks in the office are great like Regina and the gentleman that sits across from her..but step into that back room and your better off giving up on whatever it is..they will lie to your face, make false claims and threats and will do anything avoid any accountability..i heard there is a new property manager..if my issues are resolved ill be sure to follow up....but i doubt they will be because we know money rules all and they seem to be some money hungry predators
This is the worst place to live. Office staff is horrible you call in maintenance request and they dont even bother to put it in the system. Light bulb has been out for a week in the 3rd floor hall its still not replaced. Emailed new property manager she doesnt even respond. I will be moving when my lease is up!
Worse experience ever moving in the h*ll hole, bugs, poop everywhere, mold just the worse don’t do it smh, also maintenance stole money, and watches. Moved in June 2018 moved out July 2018 don’t waste your time!
Ill be living here for 2 years in July when my lease is up and I cant wait to leave. When I first moved in, the dishwasher was broken and stunk, and the cabinets in the kitchen were peeling. It took MONTHS to get someone out to fix it, which didnt work and then another month to get it replaced. To paint the cabinets, they used spray paint indoors with no ventilation and there was a black film of paint on everything, including my pots and pans.I have a mixed breed, 50 lbs dog that they knew about at the time of my application and I filled out all the appropriate forms. Now, with one month left on my lease I find a letter telling me that I have an unauthorized dog that they didnt know about and it might be a banned breed... My dog is ESA certified and has had no problems in the 2 years Ive lived here, the neighborhood kids love her and give her pets on walks. I see tons of people with pit mixes, germen shepherds, and akitas. Why am I all of a sudden getting harrassed. Its not my fault if the leasing office misplaced the paperwork about my dog.Dont rent here, especially if you have a pet.
This place is a complete scam.! Not built to hold up for years lease. Avoid at all cost. My apartment was COVERED in mold for OVER a month! And I wouldnt be surprised if it still is! Maintenance takes your calls but either takes weeks to show up and half asses the job or doesnt show up at all!
The personnel in the office are very nice- I will say...however I had a HORRIBLE experience living here! Mice are out of control, maintenance ignored request to resolve pest problems, my rent flucutates constantly. Please don’t waste your time investing in the community. I will not be renewing my lease. I pay too much money to live in discomfort.
They do not care about their tenants. They only want their money. Always finding a way to inconvenience their tenants. Management never returns calls.
I will not be renewing my lease..this place is a money hungry apartment complex who could care less about the well being of its residents..here is a list of what makes this a piss poor complex to reside1. Plumbing> almost 10 work orders to fix the same problem..they will keep sending maintenance to help you get by but will never actually send someone to fix it..2. Maintenance charges out of this worldThey push you to pay online rent, $30 each time so your better off taking up money orders*maintenance fee for waste management to come pick up trash from the dumpsters( you think this would be included in rent)3. ParkingPaying rent here doesnt always mean its safe to park..my car was towed with a towson crossing decal in the window because i was parked in visitors space..there was very limited parking before!!! but NOW its even less parking available and you will get towed for parking in the pay only spots..no matter of your a visitor or resident you MUST PAY to park in the 10 spaces or park on the street two buildings away..they are taking advantage of people..then they give you the option to pay an additional 40 bucks a month to get a spot just for you..either way you will pay to park unless you get off work by 4 to 6pm..then spots may be available. This is a few of the problems, there are more but Im limited on time..look else where..once you sign the lease, your just another number..just a money making item.. your finances, feelings and quality service to you as a resident is not considered..In conclusion, i bought all my concerns to the front office and they couldnt have cared less
The “Manager” name Jackie was very disrespectful towards me. She hung up the phone on me while I was talking and this was after she said out her mouth “I dont fee like it” after I asked if she could contact the regional manager. This place is disgusting and disrespectful. I refuse to be disrespected by their staff. DONT STAY HERE! They are sneaky and do not care about their residents. Jackie does not treat people right and should be fired. She even walked away from me as I was talking and tried to talk over me to cover herself.
Ive been here for 3 weeks and I absolutely hate it. The leasing office never answers there phone, when you call for a complaint or for help they just dont care. The service is here, is terrible honestly... Biggest mistake signing a 1 year lease here.
Love the people in the leasing office...very helpful and prompt....nice place to live..only issue are the mice!..maintenance is on it and I also have a cat!..lol
I was a resident for 2 years. It was a good experience.
Let me just say the least thing I hated about this place is the office they never answer there phone. The assist manager is terrible down to the property manager. We went a whole month without a refrigator, then when it was time to vacate the premises the assist manager told me they were going to charge us for moving out on the 31st whe we have already paid a month. I swear Im so ready to take this complex to court and sue the socks off of them the maintenance men are all drunks and drug addicts its ridiculous. I will say if Morgan Properties want to redeem there properties start with new management clean house over there and they just might get results.
I will not be renewing my lease...my car has been towed 4 times this year.. the tow company actually sat and waited till my tags expired. My other vehicle that had to be parked on the street was totaled. Ive seen roaches appear over the last 2 months, I can live elsewhere with less problems.
I would give the overall experience a 3.5. I lived in the apartment above the maintenance hub/office. In the morning there was a lot of hustle and bustle from the crew preparing for their daily duties. It was annoying at times but the staff was at least friendly and receptive to my request to keep the noise level down. It was also convenient because if I had a problem or needed something repaired I could just go downstairs and ask.I took morning and afternoon runs without being bothered by anyone so I definitely consider it a safe place. I also took the bus to work a few times when there was really bad snow to avoid driving. Taking the bus meant walking a few blocks to the bus stop, again, I felt perfectly fine doing so.I did feel that the hallways and mailbox areas could have been kept a bit cleaner. I would notice a cleaning person each morning taking care of the stairs but the carpets always looked pretty bad.I did have one big battle with the leasing office. I was given a notice that the property would be replacing the railings of the balconies. The notice had a range of dates and no specific times. I contacted the leasing office to determine when I would be having my railing replaced because my satellite dish was bolted around the rail and I wanted time to have the cable company come to remove it. I was told that they couldnt narrow down the time because there was no way of telling how fast the crew would work. About a day or two after the initial range of dates given, i returned home around 2 am (i bartend) and noticed that my cable wasnt working. I immediately went to the balcony and noticed that the satellite had been removed from its original position and was now laying on its side. No biggie. I woke up the next day and attempted to replace the satellite to its working position but I could not so I called the leasing office to see if maintenance personnel could be of assistance. The women I spoke with was very rude and said that we cant touch that. So I then asked her if my satellite cannot be touched why was it removed in the first place. She responded with it was the people we contracted, not our staff. So i then reminded her that when you have a contract with individuals to do a job on the property, they are your employees and responsibility until that job is done. She was still rude so i contacted corporate. he immediately had a maintenance man come to help. Unfortunately the satellite still did no function but the tab for the cable company to re adjust it was taken care of by management.
I lived in Towson Crossing from 2013-2016 for my college career at Towson University. In overall, it is a pretty good place. Let me start off with positives of my time here.Of course its not a luxury apartment complex, but its far from ghetto. Id say the ratio of college students to regular families is about 30%, about 2 college tenants for every 6 tenants. Even with that, noise disturbance in my time here was very minimal. Its also a very safe area, never heard of or witnessed any crimes during my time hear and also is near an elementary school which may also contribute to its calmness. The rooms are pretty spacious and equipped with of course fridges and stoves but also washers and dryers for every tenant which is a huge plus. Parking is also never an issue and is open and free, only gets hectic when it snows and people have to dig out their spots lol. In my last year here, they also added a mini playground for pets primarily and a nice small gym with about 3 treadmills, a bike, strength training equipment and about 4 tvs.Concerning the negatives about this place, Id say the biggest problem in my time here was the fridge. mice and the a/c during the hotter months. When we first moved in in october 2013, our fridge was having cooling problems. Their maintainance crew would do patchwork repairs that would have it working for about a week and it would started to act up again. We battled with this fridge issue for 2 years!!! Finally in september of my THIRD year living year, they replaced the fridge smh. Besides the fridge war, ever other maintenance issue was dealt with in a timely and appropriate fashion. From Id say august-early December, i didnt see any mice or at least never noticed them in my place. But from about December on till around May when I usually leave Towson for the summer is when they were most apparent. On average from around mid-march on, Id see maybe 2 per night and I even started to wedge towels under my bedroom door so that they wouldnt enter my room any longer. My roommate and I were relatively clean and even started to keep our garbage on the patio deck to deter them from entering. It started to get really bad in the spring but by that time my roommate and i were already in move out mode so we kind of just dealt with it till our lease was up in May. We had an exterminator come in in our second year and it helped a little. I just recommenced before you move in to get them to fill all gaps and holes especially in the kitchen and be diligent with cleanliness and take out your trash daily if you can to help deter the critters. The a/c was the second issue I cant really speak on how it is during June and July and Early August because I usually lived with my parents during the summer when school was out. But during May when it starts to get a warm out, the a/c wasnt absolutely terrible but it could worked a little better than it did. If i was there during the summer peak temperatures and it was performing at the level it was during May then I would have had a serious problem. Another side issue is that since they allow smoking, one tenant in my building made the hallway smell like cigarettes at times. Other than that, I cant really complain about this place. If you have a maintenance issue, they usually responded in about 3 days depending on its seriousness. The complex is about 8-10 minutes from Towsons campus and has a campus shuttle stop in the middle of the complex which is great. Its also about 10 min from Morgan States campus as well and very close to a couple shopping centers and 10 mins as well from towsons mall and 30 mins from Baltimore. Like I said, its no luxury apartment, but its not ghetto. A great place for college students and I enjoyed my time there in overall.
PLEASE, listen to the previous AND current reviews that have been given! Making this move to Towson Crossing was the worst mistake I have ever made in my LIFE! I absolutely hate it here! Yes, as someone stated they have BED BUGS, and what makes matters worse is they will make it seem as if you brought them into your apartment. Not to mention the fact that they dont take this issue as a serious matter, therefore they will call the exterminator whenever its convenient for them. The model that they show you, IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL GET IN YOUR APARTMENT! They are LIARS! They specilize in false advertising, and empty promises! They take forever to fulfill a service request in your apartment, even down to something as SIMPLE as a lightbulb changing. Please, I urge you to look elsewhere...ANYWHERE! Dont waste your money here. I gave them one star because ZERO stars was not an option!6/9/16 In responce to The owner I dont want to hear from anyone from the damn leasing office! If you indeed are the so-called owner why not make the call to me YOURSELF? Like the owner of this hell hole is really going to take the time out to read every single review AND continue not to do anything about it! So as I stated previously, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!
Roomy apartments, conveniently located near stores but terrible Mice infestation..😳
Great place to live. Tucked away
Welcome to Morgan Properties! Here, you get a dishwasher that only washes dishes on the bottom rack, an emotionless office staff, slow and incompetent maintenance, awful parking, and employees that will lose your paperwork. 😊😊I lived in my two bedroom for nearly a year. Throughout this, I have have had terrible experiences with the assistant property manager and other employees in the leasing office. No matter the issue, they refuse to accept any blame. When we first moved in, my roommates and I were without hot water for A MONTH. We were told this was because I had changed the shower head... and after weeks of being blown off, they finally had a contractor fix a structural problem in the building to give us hot water. We still had to pay a $50 water bill despite such a egregious problem. when we moved in, there was a laundry list of problems that needed to be fixed within the first month, and things that could not be fixed, like the microwave being too close the wall and scraping off the dry wall every time we use it. Their idea of “fixing” the parking situation is making it painful to have guests, as they must pay 50 cents an hour, but load $15 onto the account at a time. Limited guest parking far away from my building and two guests being towed in one night means my friends and family are not interested in coming to my apartment. I continuously see cockroaches around the building, and despite reporting this information, I have never heard back about it. Recently, my bank was down and declined my rent payment. When inquiring about this issue to avoid paying late or NSF fees, the assistant manager told me it was my responsibility to get the rent in money order and have my bank reimburse any fees from Morgan properties. I specifically brought the issue to them as soon as I was aware to avoid having to pay fees, so now it is all my responsibility to resolve an issue I did not create. My lease is up in April and the staff here have given me no reason to renew it and continue living with the rude and unaccommodating staff.Update: I am very disappointed to say that even after speaking with the property manager I am totally uninterested in renewing our lease. Although she was friendly and seemed genuine in her offer to assist me with future problems, she gave no solution in regards to her unwelcoming staff or any rectification of prior issues. She listened to me explain my dissatisfaction, but I was met with little substance in response. In addition to this conversation, we received a memo about a new parking policy that is actually WORSE than the previous one, in which we pay $100 for ONE pass PER APARTMENT and have no option to have more guests using the parking lot. I love the location of this apartment but I refuse to be neglected by our property management for another 12 months.Update: at this point I have moved out and thought I was free... but I am totally convinced everyone at Morgan properties are idiots all the way up to corporate. It took a month and half for them to send over our detail of damages. I had some questions and emailed corporate to get more information about this. After several emails, I was finally sent over invoices for contracted repairs and the detailed walk through. The document sent to me and the invoices/walk through were totally different. Comparing the documents, the charges were totally mismatched and mislabeled. The level of error here explains why they try and suck you dry in other areas- they clearly can’t handle clerical work. For the last update in this saga- DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THESE APARTMENTS!
Staff and maintenance dont take full responsibility of theyre job also arent very welcoming to tenants
For my first apartment home, signup and service was more than a breeze.
Bijan is great
Mice mice mice !!!My packages get stolen anytime the dumb postal office worker leave it at my door . (Asked them to take to rental office)Maintenance takes forever ! Its going to be 90 degrees today and Im still waiting for them to fix my AC . The office staff does not care . Their attitude is cant do anything about it . They are never the same people in the office . Smh theres a lot to this place . But good part is you have your washer and dryer in your apartment . But mice dont leave ....
Towson crossing was a absolute nightmare. Neighbors were loud, hallways stunk, apartments were infested with mice. Finally moved out, leaving the apt the same way we moved in and they decided to keep our severity deposit deposit....plus spend an extra 300 dollars on repairs ....which now we have to pay for. STAY AWAY, DO NOT MOVE THERE.
