The management and staff has resolved every issue in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. They are definitely committed to creating a pleasant experience for the residents in our apartment community. My wife Adrienne and I really appreciate all their efforts to make life at Boston Crossing enjoyable.
It is a pleasure living at Boston Crossing Apartments. I have lived here for 15 years. The maintenance staff is always very quick to complete work orders that I put in. Their personalities and character is a blessing. I enjoy going to the rental office to chit chat with the office staff. The maintenance team and office staff has become like family to me. I love living at Boston Crossing.
Ive been a resident for a year. Quiet and clean community No insects or rodents.Brandie and Yazel in the leasing office are great!! They always have addressed any issues Ive had in atimely matter and are always nice and respectful. Looking forward to many more years here
I found this apartment online due to covid restrictions. Despite the restrictions everything for the move was handled very well. The apartment has been a joy so far to live in. We have had a few issues as being an apartment building. Minor repairs and pest control. These issues have been handled professionally and in a timely manor. The only issue that seems to continue is the laundromat. The machines are broken often. Other then this issue our first year has been a success. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
I lived at Boston Crossing for 3 years. My experience was very good and never had a problem with mice, insects or any other pests. The building that I lived in was quiet and harmonious. Many of the residents own dogs (as did I) and we all developed a great rapport. The apartments are getting a little on the older side, but the value you get is very good. Maintenance has always been quick to fix an issue and I found that the communication through the resident portal was above average. The neighborhood is itself is well maintained and quiet. Kimberly, Yazel and Brandy were all very professional and returned calls/emails quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend living here.
My wife and I have been here for 5 years now and we love it. Maintenance are nice, professional, and punctual when addressing any concerns we have with the apartment!
The Leasing office is very great they are respectful, and they are very helpful i love it here and i highly recommend to anyone !
I’ve lived here for about a year now, there is a huge problem with mice. HUGE. Maintenance has been attentive to the problems that I have had, so I have no complaints there, they also have pest control come every 6 months but it isn’t fixing the mice problem. The first few months I moved in, there was a gas leak in my apartment, shower leak amongst a few other petty annoying problems. After the gas leak I gave up on calling maintenance. The neighborhood doesn’t have much parking after about 5 pm, So if you move here you might be parking a block up during the night hours. Neighborhood has been pretty decent, keep to yourself and you’ll have no problems. Rent is kind of expensive my 1 bedroom apartment is $850/month $870 with water bill tacked on.
I’ve lived here since July of 2019. I live on the top floor and neighbors can be a lil loud but that’s it. Can’t wait until the units with central air get renovated.
I wouldn’t recommend. Mice issue that isn’t being addressed properly at all. Terrible maintenance guys that completes tickets with out fixing issues. Still have a loud ac outside that makes life unbearable in my apartment that they won’t fix, but marks complete. Took three months to change the motor of my fridge even with it having horrible grinding noises. Had to buy and use amini fridge during that time. Garbage disposal stopped working, guy tried to unjam it with my plunger and broke the handle and said he’ll come back later. A month later never showed back but marked the ticket as completed. 900 hundred for rent now for a one bedroom and that’s not including water with a team that completely given up on the community, it’s not worth it.
I am a new tenant and I absolutely love it here. The leasing staff are very pleasant and helped me through the whole process. They are really in tune with the neighbors and care about their residents. As far as living I love my apartment. Parking is really good, and the community itself is very clean and quite. The company also prides on keeping the residents updated with events that are going on in the community. I would recommend this complex to anyone.
I haven’t had much issues in the apartment I live now. It’s old. Window air. No dishwasher. I have a garbage disposal but it breaks every other week. I’ve managed any pests within a couple weeks of moving in. But. The price is right and neighborhood is quiet. You can’t find anything better for the price. Also right next to 95 and 83 interstates highways. Schools suck. My kids catch buses to schools in other Areas. The bus is at the end of the block.
CLEAN, FRIENDLY, WELL MAINTAINED. GREAT PRICE AND GREAT LOCATION!The apartments are clean, and my neighbors feel like neighbors. People help each other out and actuallysay hi to one another. Plenty of green space to walk your dog, and the residents are very pet friendly.Maintenance is fast and professional, and the office staff are terrific!
Happy i found this place - In a past I have changed several apartments, and always had a reason to move somewhere else. Luckily I was able to move in in Boston Crossing. Clean, fresh apartments, safe area, close to canton and downtown. The staff who works there are always ready to help you out, friendly and professional. Happy to come back home
I just moved here for about a month now waiting on the arrival of my new baby & I’m impressed so far everything I’ve ask has been taking care of & in a timely matter because I don’t want anyone in here once my princess arrives & these guys get it! Thank you so much to our amazing property manager Brandie she is AMAZING! seriously talking to her is why I moved here!
ONE OF THE BEST PROPERTIES IN BALTIMORE CITY!Living at Boston Crossing is magnificent. The staff makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive and makes sure that you are well taken care of. Everyone is friendly and the community is very friendly. Thanks Boston Crossing for making my stay in Baltimore great:)
Great place to live .I have been at Boston Crossing for about a year, and Ive loved the experience. The staff is kind, courteous and respectful. The few times Ive had maintenance issues, theyve been quick to sendsomeone out or notify me when someone could be sent out. The location also puts me close toshopping at Canton Crossing, close to bars and restaurants at Canton Square and its on the bus route. The price is also good for the amenities and proximity to everything.
Wrongfully served me with eviction notice. After l moved out as a result they refused to give me back my refundable deposit. Poor services and they dont attend to residents needs at all. The apartment is rat infested and when you call they dont do nothing about it. They are not accountable and very irresponsible. All they are interested in is the rent. I will not recommend it to no one.
To be honest if I could give this place NO stars I would. But here is why I give it one star. I moved there June of 2016 with my boyfriend (now fiance) and newborn. About 2 weeks after we moved in we stared to see nice in the apartment and I had to threaten them that Ill take money out the rent and hire an exterminator for them to come do something about it. Soon after the mice we had a really bad any problem nothing was done about it so I had to pack myself and my child up to move back in with my mom who lives an hour away because those conditions are not healthy or safe for a baby. I lost my job, daycare, and everything in this process. Now my fiance still lives there but is frustrated because after 2 months nobody has responded to his call about his sink being broken as well as the dishwasher. So basically he cannot eat because he doesnt have any clean dishes to cook with. Which means he cannot spend time with his child overnight because he will not be able to feed him. Needless to say when his lease is up WE WONT BE RETURNING! the ONLY advantage was that this apartment complex is in walking distance of his job.
I wished that I read the reviews before moving there. My neighbors was great. They have a BIG MICE problem. Every time I caught one 3 more came. You complain and they don’t do anything. I knew someone that lived over top of the rental office & the mice ran her out of the apartment. Then when I moved out. I sent them an email 3 months before and guess who is being sued. In the lease it says to let them know at least 3 months. But they claim they didn’t get it until the end of January and I was moving in February. PLEASE DONT MOVE THERE.
If I could give this property negative stars I would! This place does absolutely nothing to help its tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. MAINTENANCE WILL NEVER DO THEIR JOB. The property manager says she will help but does not. I advise everyone to stay far away from this property.
I moved into the apartments in Boston Crossing at the beginning of July. I was so pleased at how quickly the staff was able to accommodate my needs as I needed to move very quickly. The website was updated and my account had some issues with paying rent online, but the staff was incredibly diligent in fixing this issue right away. As far as my apartment goes, I have a 1 bedroom with hardwood floors. The closet space is such an asset! Plus, it has been surprisingly cost effective to maintain a comfortable temperature in the summer and the ceiling fans are irreplaceable. I love them. My dog loves the grass in the neighborhood; and I am still surprised about how quiet the neighborhood is. I havent had a problem parking even though often times I have late night meetings during the week and dont return until very late--when parking would be impossible in other neighborhoods, it is very easy (even with a pickup truck). My neighbors in the building are all very nice and courteous. All-in-all, moving here was the best decision I could have made & the rent prices are more than acceptable.
The price is great for what you get and close to everything. There is no issues with parking or noise and the maintenance staff is professional, friendly, and prompt in responding to any issues. The grounds are always kept maintained on a daily basis. I just wish they used better paint to repaint/ patch up cracks etc. on walls, etc.
Im very satisfied - I havent really had any problems, and I like my apartment. I need maintenance every couple of months, and they are kind of inconsistent (sometimes quick, sometimes takes days or a week it seems). Other than that, I like where I live and have and will recommended it to friends!
This apartment is the worst. I lived at the apartment for a year. And within that one year I had issues from left to right. However, the biggest issue is mice!! Four months within my lease had mice issues. Took a full month for the office to get an exterminator. My neighbor who lived here for 3 years said he had a mice issues every year which made him get a cat.
Whats the point of having a gym if its never open especially on the weekend. Like the only time I can ever go is if the staff there cause the front door will be open/unlocked but they tell us its open from 8am-10pm everyday and thats NOT TRUE.
Called to get information about apartments due to Covid and not being able to physically be there. Leasing agent was terrible and seemed to not know about the facility. Bad taste already
I was considering moving here since it’s in walking distance of my job and the neighborhood seems quiet & looks clean but reading the comments and seeing the same thing come up “MICE” “POOR Maintenance⚙️“ I decided it’s best i look else where
Good Bargin on the Rent Beautiful view near Everything Located right beside I-95 but matinence is not to good
I have been living at Boston crossing apartments since I was 20 years old im 27 now I love the size of my apartment the maintenance services is always fast the rental office staff is always polite and gets the job done. I love that the grass is always green and cut they keep it clean no trash on the lawns and the cameras in the parking lots make me feel safe I love living here and dont plan on moving I have a three year old that can play outside and I feel safe and comfortable with the area at all times
I have been living in this property for over 4 years, I like the area to live, my daughter school and I love it because in near 95 and 895 so is easy for my work drive, but this maintenance I do not like at all, they will never come to fix anything in case of emergency it takes more than 3 months! The manager never answers when the residents want to talk to her, the service is very bad, they put conditions and never accept them, all outside in the grass there are poop of dogs you can not even walk, residents smoke inside their units and The office never says anything to them! Very bad service from the manager Kiera and her maintenance never do anything! Kiera never accepts calls whenever we want to talk to her.
The apartment is in a great area and wonderful when you first move in, but unfortunately maintenance does not come fast enough even when you do call the emergency number smh. It looks great when you first move in, but after 3-6 months the normal wear and tear starts to show with the cheap walls sweating and causing yellow stains and the apartment either stay to hot in one area and cold in the other causing you to turn on and off your A/C which causes you to have a high BGE bill in the mail. Be aware of the automatic renewal policy because they require 60 day notice, but if it does not state it in the lease agreement, the automatic renewal will be invalid because you did not sign for it in any form or way. So PLEASE do your homework before renting an apartment because thats what I have failed to do before choosing here as my first apartment.
Convenient And AffordableJust move in and they were very nice and terrific with customer service. I will recommended this community to everyone
This place is horrible its not worth staying here at all!!! Maintenance is horrible, staff management is (WPM real estate) that owns these properties are the worst people to deal with... They do not help you at all 👎 👎
Ive only been in Baltimore for 6 days, ran into a scheduling hiccup at work that didnt allow me to work for 5 days, and was literally living out of my van for close to a week. The ladies at Boston Crossing accomodated me and have been helpful ever since my 1st email exchange with them. Ive personally witnessed Yazel (leasing consultant) handling 5 things at once, and I just met Rosey (I hope I got her name correct) today, and she seems nice and understanding. I work downtown, and the cost of renting an apt there is 1500 for a studio, so Im not going to complain about the price. Just giving you all my experience, so far. Bless!
Outstanding submitted by Nirmala J.I have lived at Boston Crossing for 3 years.....I love it here....I have no plans on moving anytime soon...
This place is horrible!!. In the 6 months I stayed there, I saw rats the 1st week, my stuff was stolen, and my A/C never actually worked with no issues for more than a few weeks. They did not even make an effort to come out till what seemed like a whole month pass as they said they already had a list backed up. The phone was rarely picked up during normal hours as I would always have to leave work to go in person to even get a response. I would wake up drenched in sweat as my apartment would get up to 93 degrees even at night. Trying to leave, they would not even just let you pay the final bill and move out in a timely manner, as it took 2 more months to even completely be done with this place.( and you have to pay for the rest of the year as if you are still staying there.) You work hard, and just want to get off work and relax, but it is always an issue, never being able to go up a flight of stairs without smelling a stench of cigarette, weed, etc. This place is ridiculous and my stuff was stolen after they put in this so called security system that makes it where you scan with a chip to get into youre building, but I leave my place and come back to see my PS4 and other things stolen. I learnt the quick harsh reality of why 4 different residence moved out the building in my first 2 months. When I told locals of what happened they said this normal in Baltimore and is to be expected, but you dont have to be stuck in a situation that is so crazy and ridiculous like staying at this place. Completely not worth the money.#saveyourself
A lot of mice and cockroaches inside the apartment, they are coming from neighbors, I’ve contacted the rental office many times and there is no response, I don’t recommend it
Lived here for 4 months and for the price I’m paying it’s not worth it. Everything in the apartment is old the paint is cheap the bathroom sink fixtures are probably older than me after a while everything just starts to fall apart it’s hard to maintain and clean because the toilets and sinks aren’t even polished my sink stops up the hot water doesn’t last long. There are spiders everywhere when I first moved in the carpeting is horrible lol you can feel the hard floor underneath when I first moved in I didn’t have hot water for about a week they had to replace my hot water heater. The stove is super old and dirty like they just spray painted over the rust before I moved in smh. Only good thing about the place is the neighborhood is quiet and close to the highway for my commmute to work. I’ve lived in worser neighborhoods with better amenities. Definitely won’t be staying.
Great place to live for the cost of the units
Living here is great because of the quietness, great parking spot no matter the time, and well kept maintenance on property.
The maintanance man stole my grand daughters cell phone out of her apartment while on a maintanace call. There were no disciplinary actions taken from management! I would suggest looking into other options before moving here! My grand daughter loved it here until her phone got stolen. She had been having problems with the people underneath of her who constantly would smoke weed and it would travel through the vents and get into her apartment. Mind you she has a 3 year old daughter!! Management has not been good about keeping in contact with her in regards to everything that has been going on. She will be breaking her lease and moving else where.
Since I’ve been at Boston crossing apartment I have had problems like when it rains my windows leak, I put plenty of work orders in to be fix &&’ they are never fixed ! When you call over to the office no one ever picks up so we have to constantly go over there in person ! The old management was awesome 👏🏼 always stay on point with things ! I don’t know what’s going on now
This apartment complex has a serious mice problem. Ive been here for about 4 months and the mice problem has not gone away. I keep complaining and do not feel my complaints are being taken seriously. In addition I have had major maintenance issues here. Along with noisy neighbors.Worst experience Ive ever had and I dread leaving work every day to come back to the apartment.
The location is OK. Close to Canton but you couldnt really walk there. There is a free gym. Its very tiny but the equipment is new and its a nice feature. The price is also good, but as with most things, you get what you pay for. Disclaimer: I can only speak about my apartment. I believe some are renovated/nicer and I dont know how mine compares. The apartments are quite small, which I dont mind, but everything is very outdated and cheap. The stove in the kitchen is among the worst Ive ever seen. No dishwasher. If you enjoy cooking, know that the smoke detector will go off every. single. time you use the oven. Closet doors fall down if you so much as touch them, so dont expect to be able to open and close closet doors and have them remain attached. Youll constantly have to put them back on their track, and some are quite heavy. When it comes to air conditioning, theres a window unit in the living room which is a total eyesore. Even when its on high, the bedroom (which is in the back) never gets cool enough. Not only that, its so loud, you cant hear your TV or anything else over the noise it makes. They will treat your apartment for bugs and mice if you request it. My apartment has been treated but I frequently see mouse droppings on my countertops (and my apartment is very clean, no food left out). The laundry facilities are horrendous. It will cost you $4 in quarters to do just one load of laundry. And thats if you can find working machines. In the building where I do my laundry, only one of the washers is working, and I use that term very loosely, because the spin cycle doesnt work. When you remove your clothes, they will be completely drenched and youre forced to choose only what you really need dry to put in the dryer. The rest, you can hang around your apartment, but it will take days to dry and your floor will be soaked from the dripping (I recommend putting plastic bags underneath!).If youre willing to overlook many issues and conveniences and really just want to live somewhere cheap, then by all means, come to Boston Crossing. Im a young guy and I am staying here to save money for something nicer. But if you can afford it, just go somewhere nicer. It will be worth it. Also, trying to be sensitive here, Im a Caucasian male and thats the minority here. There is a huge Hispanic population at BC. This is not an issue for me. However, be prepared to hear Spanish rap music played loud enough to raise the dead at all kinds of hours.
