Absolutely a disgusting place to live… moved in to an undone apartment. The property manager is NO HELP. So many things went wrong on my first month there. Finding a way to break my lease NOW

Phenomenal amenities, floor plans, and the location cant be beat! However, it was the customer service that sold us on making Union Wharf our home. From the moment we walked into the building, the staff and residents were welcoming warm-hearted, and Incredibly helpful. Shelby and Ryan are part of the property management team, and a true pleasure to work with!

—-UPDATE APRIL 2019—-STAY AWAY! This place has gone from 5 stars to 1 star all due to one person, ALYSSA.A few months into our lease, this “property management” company named zahlco took over. All was ok in the beginning. They fired two of the leasing agents we loved, but kept one on. They kept Yohana who was awesome, then brought in another guy who was great. Most recently they’ve hired someone named Alyssa. Ever since then, this community has done nothing but decline. Look anywhere else but here. For starters, no apartment has a dehumidifier, so when it hits 75°, this building is all concrete and you will stick to yourself! Our electricity bill is $300+ consistently because of this! The other manager gave us a dehumidifier that is so big, but yet still has to be emptied every few hours because HOW MOIST it is in here. Alyssa also tried to take that in the winter.Next, there is no security. There are crackheads, EVERYWHERE. If you have a dog, it’s not safe to walk your dog at night unless you carry. Management doesn’t care that people literally smoke crack and shoot up in front of the garage door. They also pitch a tent next to the dumpsters. Also, no one does a thing in this building until Tuesday/Wednesday. They let anyone move in here, so there will be throw-up no one cleans for days, the trash chute is backed up to the 6th floor WEEKLY. Like weekly. This past week my hallway wreaked of trash and disgustingness. I had to email them multiple times to clean the dog poop that was smeared all over the hallways. It seems every other week I have to email them to do something that should have already been done. Our apartment is moldy and sticky. It’s hard to breathe, sleeping is brutal. Also, Alyssa attempts to make illegal entries. She apparently did apartment utility checks, but was under the guise of looking for illegal animals not listed on people’s leases. She didn’t knock on my door and entered my unit without announcing herself. I know she did nothing during these checks because she just emailed me to ask me if my unit was 2b/2b or 1b/1b AND if we had a balcony. You were literally just in here and didn’t take notice to that? OkThere are mice everywhere, which is to be expected in the city, but here it’s simply due to the dirtiness. To reiterate, take your business elsewhere. This place has been driven into the ground, I wouldn’t let anyone I know move in here.—————previous review below————Tyrika and Brittney were a pleasure to work with! They went above and beyond to help us have a stress free move as we came from across the country. We could not have asked for a more smooth process from signing the lease to getting the keys. We did need maintenance and they come very fast, within 24 hours. We love our apartment, very spacious and affordable which is hard to find in any downtown area. The area is fine, well patrolled, and safe at night. I am comfortable with my girlfriend walking our dog at night as all the streets and alleys are well lit. If you one to look, tell them Lenny sent you from Google!

I am new to 222 Saratoga. The manager, Alyssa Luberto, has been most pleasant, responsive, flexible and creative in assisting with the application process and addressing my questions and requests. I could not have asked for a smoother transition to a new living arrangement. Zahlco is very fortunate to have Alyssa.

I have been looking for an apartment in Downtown Baltimore for 2 months. In my price range, I have grown to expect less than 1,000 square feet without any outdoor space. Then I found 222 Saratoga and could not believe the size of the apartments and the amenities offered here. Plus there are balconies! The manager, Christine Richardson, has bent over backwards to accommodate me. I am excited to move in soon!

Great place to live! Management and maintenance are super nice and will try to get any problems you may be experiencing fixed. Efficient washer-dryers, trash chutes, stainless steel appliances and monthly resident appreciation events were my fave.Parking can be pricey but at least one spot is included in the rent! Surprisingly the neighborhood isnt sketchy. Its in between the hospital and ear the court station so its a well-lit area. Sundays theres the flea market next door you can walk to.

My daughter lives in this building. There are no real safety concerns. The construction across the street is an eye sore-noisey at the most iinopportune time, but nonetheless, still a great place to live. I visit frequently and have seen no real issue. The garage parking is FABULOUS for city living. The new office assistant seems nice. She always speaks with a smile. Most recently, she was picking up trash and cleaning the hallways. Give this place a try.

The worst call service representative ever. Not only did she hang up on me but was rude about it the second time I called! When asked why she would just hang up she said it was because she did not know the answers to my questions at to how much rent would be?Tried calling again but no one EVER picks up!!! Guess they dont need the business.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, they reported us to collections after we had settled our lease and we had no clue what fees were for, such as miscellaneous closing fees that we incurred after leaving properly. They switch management so often you NEVER know who is calling or who to call or how you are being billed. We heard horror stories living there about what happens when you leave, we were a victim of their scams but had no choice but to pay these random people that keep calling. It was too risky to damage our renting reputation to fight it. SAVE YOURSELF AND RENT ELSEWHERE!
