My partner and I toured this community recently and we actually liked it. The property itself seemed very nice and well kept. The units we viewed were nice and spacious. When touring an apartment its always tricky because we only know what they decide to show, but tours are always that much better when the leasing agent is kind. We toured with Ms. Amber and she was very professional and knowledgeable. She was an excellent tour guide.. Thanks Amber :)
In April we started looking for an apartment home we came to diamond Ridge apartment went for a tour the unit we looked on was beautiful we were interested in renting that unit, however it was available immediately and we weren’t looking to move until June so obviously they would have not hold it that long which we understood, however we decided we will take another unit that would be available in June we got approved and that is when everything started going downhill . The leasing agent gave us an incorrect pricing I went back-and-forth with her telling her her calculation is not adding up I went about taking the time out to calculate with her which she could not understand she told me she will be connecting me to her manager which never happened she came back on the phone told me that I was right my calculation was correct. We kept checking on the unit that we were interested in renting initially we came to understand that unit was still available we went to the office spoke to a very pleasant leasing agent she helped us by transferring the unit and all we needed was the manager approval. I got a call from the manager telling me that she would have to speak with her regional manager to see if we will need to do a credit check an income verification check all over that was fine as we were told it’s not an easy move if we apply for the property at the leasing and then wanted to change to the other property however no one got back in touch with me until I called later that evening I was promised a callback which never happened I kept calling back and I don’t know if I was being hanged up on or the phone was just getting disconnected I asked for the manager to give me a call that never happened either, some other leasing agent call me back asking for my partner and I social security number we provided them with that information until now we haven’t heard anything else from the office. They are poor with communication they do not follow through they are very neglectful and does not care about their potential residence, with this experience we are starting to doubt if we should really move here. I have rented with Morgan’s properties before and have never encountered such behavior I think they need to be more customer friendly and professional and that would make the apartment complex complete
My experience with Diamond Ridge, formerly Rolling Wind Apartments, sucked! My problems began when Morgan Properties took over. I have been here for 6 years, and getting important maintenance issues resolved is impossible, for me, that is. I have been calling the office since 9:00 this morning. My guest batbroom clogged this morning, and the Master bedrooms bathroom, the toilet seat is broken. I mean if you like sitting on the cold porcelain part, you are fine. I called all day, it is now after 5:30 and no one yet. Getting things taken care of is a major problem! People, to me, Diamond Ridge is terrible. Dont do it.
I live at diamondridge apartments and I have sent 2 emails about the people above me being loud and nobody has yet to respond to my emails dont waste your time here
I put request in morning by the afternoon my request was complete. I was happy keep up the great work
Even though they are townhomes you can’t hear your neighbors next door but you can hear people by where the garages are and some are very loud riding their motorcycles in that little area, it makes it hard to work from home or for my baby to take a nap, I wish there was like a community policy. We are so close to a walking path that is amazing!
I got here in 2018-19 from a referral of a friend who used to live here. I have a two bedroom two bath, fireplace and cathedralceiling. I encountered Heather a very nice young lady who helped me and my friend who accompanied me to the tour. The regular 2bed/2bath was still very spacious but I fell in love with the ceilings.Three things I dont like about this apartment is the pipes shake when the water comes on which I assume is from time and the sink is continuously clogged. Ive had someone out 5 times now and they do everything to NOT change the dish disposal so I stopped asking.(still not fixed) My washing machine has also overflowed several times and theyve done everything but replace that. (for now thats working)Eventually theyll be paying for the asthma treatments if mold develops under the rug after the overflows of washing machine. Also dishwasher has never worked since Ive been here. So beautiful apartment, nice staff but not really doing well in the fixing department. They really could use a wooden floor upgrade too, thatd really open up these apartments even more. I do interior design so if the owner wants to email me please feel free it is definitely time for an upgrade and youll have a great result as far as residents are concerned. 👀 You know where to find me 🙋🏽♀️
I was a resident here for a little over a year. While there were some challenges (as with anything in life), I will say that 1) I never experienced any rodent or bugs during my entire stay, 2) Each time I placed a maintenance request, it was completed, and 3) the staff was super helpful and responsive to my emails/calls. Customer service goes a long way with me, and the staff was always friendly, responsive and followed through on my request. LaToya May was exceptionally helpful to me during an extremely stressful time. As a result of her follow-through, much of my stress was alleviated. I am thankful for my time here and truly thank Ms. May and the staff for their kindness and assistance!
Everyone in my building is so nice ! One of my biggest issues at my previous apartment complex was my packages constantly being stolen, here I’ve never had that issue and I am so thankful to live near honest caring people!
Dont know yet
My stay here has not been too pleasant since the day i moved in . it took 3 months for my refrigerator and dishwasher to get fixed I called several times and even went to the rental office several times. My food went bad weekly and i couldnt cook for the holidays due to the fridge leaking. not to mention my 6 year old child falling in the kitchen because the water leaked several times daily. They have sent several maintenance men and all they do is come in and leave . I really have to condemn Cory he is super awesome and makes living here a lot better he makes sure that when he has a ticket he fixes the problems and even goes the extra mile to ask if anything else needs fixing.
Horrible experience! My ac is not working for over a month! Did 3 maintenance requests, first was ignored, after second one I received email that work order was complete and of course ac is not working...after 3rd time they finally told me that their maintenance cant fix it so they will bring contractor on Monday. On Monday nothing changed, I called the leasing office and have been told that they will contact supervisor and give me call back, nobodycalled back, the same situation happened on Tuesday. On Wednesday I finally got a chance to talk to a manager and have been told that contractor actually came on Monday (again nobody bothered to let me know that)and my ac unit needs to be replaced which will happen in at least a week and they will bring and install portable ac, so they brought it and nobody bother to install it. I tried to reach manager again and no luck. It is 83 degree in my apartment and ac is not working for over a month...ridiculous....what am I paying money for?!
Recently I went out looking at apartments for rent, and it so happened the three I visited were all related to Morgans properties, and I want to say I was totally impress with the service I received. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They were all professionally helpful and friendly, even the person I spoke with at the Glen was so helpful, ewhen I told her I thought the Glen would be to far for me to drive to and from work she directed me to the other diamond ridge properties. I thought wow that is what you call a team player. I am still searching for that apartment which will be in my budget, but I just had to let you know, that when it comes to service all those different representatives represented Morgan Properties and is worthy to be acknowledge. WELL DONE.👍
Love it here. I really enjoy my apartment. Maintenance is quick to respond and the office staff is very sweet. Very clean community. Love the washer and dryer
The staff is great. I love my apartment. From the gym to the pool and washer and dryer in every apartment. I love it here. Plus I have 2 full bathrooms. I couldnt ask for anything more.
Just moved in July. So far it’s been wonderful! The only thing I would say is I wish the front door buzzer system was operational. Also, it would be great to have energy efficient appliances. Also Miko in the leasing office is really great! Super friendly and helpful!
I love the apartments at Diamond Ridge. I honestly love the staff, everyone is warm and friendly. Management is professional and excellent with customer service. The apartments here will make u feel like you’re home
Emergency maintenance issues arent prioritize. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests and called the office multiple times for for my washer and my microwave the washer. My microwave stopped working since March and still hasnt been replaced. Imagine going through this pandemic with no microwave. The office barely picks up when you call. When they finally picked up my call in beginning of April after weeks of my microwave not working, I was told that it has been ordered and should arrive in the following week. It is May 27th and I still have no microwave. I spoke to someone on the 20th and they told me the microwave was ordered 2 days ago.. how? Same situation with my washer but that was finally replaced after a month of a half of not working.
The apartments are nice and living here was great when Harbor group Management was running things but now Morgan Properties took over and if I was you I would run. For the price point of the apartments you would think maintenance would respond to things in a timely fashion. Ive been complaining needing minor fixes for a while now and nothing has been done to this day. I figured they would prioritize the requests and it may take a minute but not more than 30 days. Then when you call to check the status of your request, you get nowhere almost everybody in the office treat you like your being a pain as if you dont pay rent. Then they waited to tell me they had maintenance issues after Ive been already waiting a month. when maintenance did come nothing was accomplished because they stated they had to order something and when I asked when will they be back, no one knows. Then they just keep giving you days they will come and no one shows. Then no one in the office know anything regarding their corporate office. I would not recommend this place to anyone, because this small issue has turned into a big one when it could of been avoided if people would just do their job, and i know if i dont pay them they would most definitely be on their job then. JUST SAD and wrong to do hard working people that make your job possible that way!
I have a bad experience with this management. Customer service is a horrible And if you call than they will put the Ticket but nobody Show up for months. Montana’s people is very inexperienced they don’t do right job try to scape the job.
This review is based soley on the work and customer service of Kyle and Davon, two maintenance workers from The Townhomes, that resolved a long standing heating and air problem at my residence. These two staff members were kind, throughly explained the issues and process, and put forth their best work to troubleshoot and fix the problem that others pushed aside. Your work and efforts are appreciated gentlemen! Thank you!
Within 2 weeks of living here we’ve experienced constant MICE and ROACH infestations. maintenance does NOTHING but give us mouse traps and exterminators don’t do their job correctly. Management does NOT care. can’t wait to get out of this filthy place.
Visiting a friend, beautiful apartment inside. The floor plans and size of the rooms are great. Maintenance service isn’t so great I hear and can see neglect in the hallways. Still a good place to live in Baltimore County.
I left a review over 6 months ago and nothing has changed. I have put three requests to have my carpet steamed. They cancelled two of the requests and the third request it states “completed”. I advise anyone to NOT rent from here. Morgan Properties will keep the exterior looking great but they do not care for their residents. Trust me, I know.
Great place to love! management has become receptive to needs in the community good to know
I have complained several times about the weed smells in the hallways, the Highschool kids get out and smoke weed in the building hallways between 2 & 2:30p I was told to call the cops if I see them well I never see them and it’s so unfair. They just care about getting their money. I even asked if they could have someone come walk through randomly to control the problem but they refuse. I would never recommend this place and it’s so sad we live in these conditions. No way to live when you have children here. I guess the kids make the rules here. From 8 am to @8:50 little kids unsupervised running up and down steps yelling and screaming. They run in and out the building. No parents around and these are grade school kids waiting on their bus. Just a matter of time someone will get hurt and parents will want to sue. They cuss like their grown,I’m just curious where are the parents.
Very nice Apartment complex .... Best I’ve ever been in .... very helpful staff specially heather very nice and helpful .....I recommend it to all friends and family
Isn’t a safe place to live, I get my packages stolen, the front doors don’t lock so anything can hang out in your building and every spring or winter I have a mice problem
I lived at these apartments before new management took over and they were a lot better! Especially with your maintenance requests. I filed a maintenance emergency request for having no ac!! Which was also suppose to be fixed last summer and come to find out there a quick fix done that did not last. I’ve spoken to the manger in the office as well as maintenance manager all of whom were absolutely no help at all. It’s been over 85 degrees and still no temporary unit was ever placed in my home after many promises that it was and would be installed. I would not recommend this community to anyone who values there time or has an actual maintenance emergency! This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any leasing personnel and maintenance staff! I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office as well. If there was an option to leave no stars I would’ve chosen that.
Being at the complex was THEE WORST EVER!!!! Nothing seemed to be getting fixed!! Mold, leaking ceilings, plumbing issues, the security door to the building broken. I Had to call the police to let me out bc i couldn’t get out the door unless i went around back. Countertops falling apart since i moved in, closet doors and closet broke, dryer broken, smoke in the hallways, kids sleeping in the hallways or charging their phones....just to name a few. The staff if horrible! Nasty attitudes! Paying all that money for NOTHING!To the staff: You don’t know what half of us are going through daily...the best customer service skills would be to SMILE and have a pleasant attitude. Just a smile could change someones entire day. You chose to be in that position, we didn’t, so understand what comes with that job. No one should wait around to get help to make sure a home is properly functioning, or in a manner where we as tenants feel safe in our homes. My suggestion if you can’t help or don’t want to help...Look for a new profession.
Just moved in, office staff was very welcoming, move in process was very easy. I love my apartment its very spacious abd very well maintained. The apartment location is very convenient with plenty of parking.
I recently visited a friend and omg, the common areas look terrible and really bad maintend, of course the offices are the only ones well maintained and they dont answer phone calls, the service at the offices is really low level apartments, not for the price they charge, i thought this apartments were different, but it seem that they are not different than the old buildings cheap ones, really bad experience, id not rent in these apartments.
Do not move here!!!!! Moved me and my family into a mold infested apt. Problem was only painted over before moving us in. Only lived there for 2 months. Ridiculous. My infant has been having respiratory issues because of this. This place does not care about the residents here. Do not move in here. Do your family a favor and move somewhere better. I have included pics of the water damage and mold. Not sanitary at all. I should have read reviews prior to moving in here. They will be hearing from my attorney!
Pros:•Located near Baltimore and 695.•Walls are thick so you wont hear your neighbors in the other units.Cons:•The buildings appear nice from the outside but they look trashed and rundown on the inside. Theres always garbage in the parking lots and the dumpsters reek in the summertime. The buildings smell like weed and theres always groups of teenagers running through the hallways and slamming doors. The door locks never work - either they never lock or they lock you into the building from the inside.•The appliances are constantly breaking and maintenance will take two weeks minimum to respond to requests. When they do respond they sometimes create new issues.•Good luck ever getting in contact with someone at the main office. They never answer their phones and the front doors are always locked. Were still waiting for them to return an email that we sent them two months ago.•The mail service isnt secure so its very easy to have your packages stolen. Half of the time you wont be able to receive packages because the delivery services cant get into the buildings. Some of the delivery people at USPS have given up and will leave notices outside of the buildings addressed to no one, so when you go to the post office across the street the front desk people look at you like you have three heads when you try to get your mail.•Be very careful driving around the developments at night, especially on Tudsbury road. Groups of people like to wander out into the middle of the road and they always wear dark clothing. You can easily hit them if youre not paying attention. This development is kind of like a giant toilet. I hope that Morgan properties can get their act together and improve conditions, but I would never live here again.Update: Weve been trying to call the number provided by Morgan Properties in their reply. We still havent been able to reach anyone in the leasing office which is concerning given that we put in a notice of vacancy prior to 60 days before we plan to move and have yet to receive a response.
It’s been okay with a little ups and downs. Sometimes the service is quick and at times it’s terrible. People consume marijuana in the hallway and that’s annoying. But I doubt the leasing authority can do much about it.
Beautiful apartment but I wanted to break my lease after one month. With all the obvious complaints of weed and cigarette smoking, one would think that calling the police obviously isnt addressing the issue. My apartment had many issues from an improperly sealed front door (which they repaired 3 times and its still not sealed,) to a broken closet door that almost fell on me. They sell the idea of a convenient intercom system but after 3 months here, I have yet to see it work. Residents have to leave personal notes on the building doors for their deliveries. The only way they seem to respond to you is if you walk in the office and ask to speak to the manager or call cooperate. Forget about expecting callbacks..so sad for such a beautiful complex..
DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!! The leasing staff is unprofessional and incompetent. They leave private notices for everyone to see, the maintenance is lazy, to be nice. My apartment flooded the day after I moved in December 2017 up until I broke my lease and moved (April 2018) there were still holes in my ceiling from the flooding, the light fixtures were full of water from the same flooding which initially began with the apartment above me. Clearly this was a fire hazard, however my fire detector was also broken and still hadnt been fixed after 3 calls. So not only did I have a fire hazard for 5 months in my apartment I also did not have a working fire detector. Notices are left on your door stating the filters and fire detectors will be checked on a certain day but obviously they dont. Im conviced a heard of elephants lived in the apartments above me, You are harassed by neighbors begging for change for coffee on a daily basis (children included). Cars are consistently broken into, my mailbox was broken for the first 2 months, oh and theres the time I was leaving for work but the building door was jammed and I had to wait for maintenance to arrive. I could go on and on and I havent lived in the property a full 6 months. My best friend lived 4 buildings down from me in the same complex and shes had the same sub par service and horrible experiences of her own and also left her apartment. This complex from the outside looking in appears decent but its TRASH! Id stay in a shelter before call this place home again.
This is a great place to live well maintained great staff quite community
LITERALLY RUN AWAY FROM HERE! ZERO STARS!! Where do I begin? I could write dissertations on it, but I will just hit the main issues. I moved here for my job about a year ago and thought it was ok, not amazing, but good for the price. Within a month, I knew I made a huge mistake.Within a few days, our kitchen reeked of cat urine when it got hot outside. We contacted the office and it took them five days to come out even though we reminded them that my partner was immunosuppressed. They blamed it on our cat even though our cat had nit been moved to our place yet and we had to get on to them for them to fix it and the hole it was in.A few months in, a bird got into our vent right above our microwave as they did not have covers over the vent exits outside. It took them over a week to come get it and let it into our home. We had to threaten with a lawsuit for them to replace the microwave as it was filled with feathers that could make my partner ill.In the winter, my partner took out our dog and slipped on the staircase leading to the building and could not grab the hand rail as it was covered by inches of bushes. The office said they couldnt do anything about it and did not until right before we moved out this summer and a lawyer was involved.About 8 months into our occupancy, water started coming out of our ceiling from a leakinh pipe. This happens and we were very understanding. What was appauling was that they cut out the ceiling and did not fix it for MONTHS! We had a giant hole in our ceiling for months even though we called multiple times a week to remind them that it needed to be fixed. The final thing we had to deal with was search lights for weeks for a double stabbing in the townhomes. Once again, this is not the apartments fault, but they did not even get patrolling security cars for the apartments for a month.Luckily we were able to leave when my partner changed jobs, but to prove the rediculous things you will encounter, we found this gem (in pictures) that was painted over at some point in the closet. They painted over a flipping stink bug! If you want to be disrespected, ignored, accused of things you did not do, and concerned for your safety, this is definitely the place for you!!!
I have been a tenant here for over a year. The previous management handled issues and concerns quickly, but I cannot say the same thing with the new management. There has been an ongoing issue for close to two months now with no resolve due to the lack of return calls, email replies, and refusal to see me when I come in. I have spoken to eight different people in management concerning rent, move out date, and move out procedure trying to resolve concerns to no avail. An example of one of my in-person experiences: Front desk employee: You should make an appointment to speak to the property manager - this is a busy time of the year. Me: Sure. What appointment time is available? Front desk employee: I dont know her schedule. Me: dumbfounded face. Front desk employee: I will write a note and have her call you today. Me: Thank you. ......Im still waiting for a return call - along with other notes to call me and a reply to my emails and phone messages.
I’ve lived here for 2.5 years and boy I can’t save up for a house quickly enough....I will say the location is convienient with quick access to 70 and 695. The grounds look nice enough although there is a ton of glass and nails scattered all over the parking lot. The apartments themselves are ok but not as nice as the rent they’re asking for. Cheap appliances and plastic fixtures, not “luxury” as they advertise. The worst part of living here is dealing with the leasing office and maintenance. Our AC has broken 5 seperate times in 2.5 years and has always been a pain to get fixed. Getting communication on repairs has been a lengthier process requiring multiple follow ups, something that hasn’t been an issue at several cheaper places. There have been one or two specific maintenance people that were responsive and helpful but in general it’s been difficult. The fix has almost always been just charging the system, essentially a Bandaid fix. They also never come to change filters like they’re supposed to, so hardly surprised it breaks so much. Their maintenance people also broke our hanging light when installing the new sliding doors (backwards btw) and it’s been 6 months and nothing on getting it fixed. During this same incedent razor blades were left lying in our carpet almost cutting my dogs feet. The seeming lack of care both for tenants and of the property is a huge issue. Also why are there no trash cans anywhere on the grounds near the sidewalks and pathways? It’s no wonder glass is everywhere. I also haven’t mentioned the teenagers that hang out in the stairwells smoking blunts (not that I have a problem with that but go outside or to your own house please) and have left trash and broken doors and other property. We’ve requested for the security to do something but the issue still persists. If I were you I would avoid making the same mistake as us and rent elsewhere. Can’t wait to be out of here and into a house. They keep raising rent and the management here just ain’t worth it.
Let me start by saying the only reason I give it a one-star is because its close to my job and its close to a lot of shopping centers. For a so-called luxurious apartment this place is horrible, everything thing at this place is old the appliances, buildings. Maintenance is okay depending on whos working and also whos in the leasing office. You have to literally call them every day for the same issue,,,, I had an ant problems coming from the utility closet it took them 3 week and a call from the corporate office for to be fixed every week I call to get my name on The Pest Control list they tell him its on it which was a lie,,,,the kids smoke in the hallways, doors are broken, the intercom to let your guests in dont work after time, at 2 am your neighbors are fighting are playing loud music as if they are in the club. Some of the leasing Staff arent as friendly. I was having a Cook-Out and I was told by the office they only have one maintenance on called and he was too busy to pick the trash that was in the cookout area and if I can just go ahead and take the trash to the dumpster by myself before my event started. Ive had issues with Morgan property couple of years ago so when I heard they were taking over this property I was kind of skeptical but I was told everything was going to change, whatever you do dont move here please, I cannot wait to move out.
This place is TRASH! The door handle to my boyfriends building has been broken for over 1 month, the trash is constantly overflowing outside, the washing machine is broken and the AC in his apartment is mediocre at best and despite multiple calls and visits to the leasing office to have these issues fixed NOTHING has been done. Instead, he was told that these issues were not a priority. Save your money and look elsewhere.
I am a frequent visitor to this community and as a visitor a few things stand out to me like, the security door to the building is always broke. Whats the use of having a secured entrance if it is always broke. a particular resident and their guest keep breaking the door. I would put them out. The hall walls, stair treads and light fixture are dirty. Drywall repair needed under window seal from water leak. My friend tell me that management is terrible and he will be moving when the lease is up. He has to give 3 month notice in advance.
I just moved out of Rolling Wind last month after living there for four years. The good of the complex is that the apartments are actually pretty nice. The rest is pretty much bad. I lived on Battersea Pl. and the parking is horrible, you would often have to park a block over if you get home at night, they have started renting spots at about $50 a month which makes open parking even harder. In my four years the front door was secure MAYBE a total of 12 months. Maintenance would come do a rigged fixing of the door and it would be busted open again within the week. This would be an issue with both the front and back doors. With the doors busted teenagers would hang out in the stairwells, I ran off kids smoking weed on several occasions and even having sex on one occasion. I had two occurrences where leaving for work at 6am someone was sleeping in my hallway, SLEEPING IN THE HALLWAY DIRECTLY OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT DOOR!!!Broken windows to the entrances and graffiti in the halls is common. Cars being broken into is also a common problem. Rent increases are common and have gotten worse under Harbor Group. Lastly be prepared to lose your security deposit regardless of the condition of the apartment. I was told by the rental staff its ok to paint and make the apartment your own even if you paint in light colors (in my case tan and baby blue)they will charge you outrageous amounts for two coats of painting my charge came to, you guessed, exactly the amount of my deposit plus the interest it earned.
Dont move in 2801. A guy blast a horn everyday in his apartment and people have complained about it nonstop. He obviously does not work but somehow pays his rent. It is LOUD and a nuisance. Dont move into building 2801 unless you love bad instrument players!!!!!!! And good luck calling the cops on pot smokers. Police turn a blind eye to it when they should do a raid.
Lived here a year and a half. Read the reviews and never thought id bother with one. No issue parking, close to shopping and beltway and at times quiet. One common, frustrating and on going issue that according to the other reviews is true.....smoking in the hallways and apartments. Just called the rental office about smokers standing around in the hallway talking and inhaling like its a night club, his responds (Kevin), yeeeah youre free to call the police LOL!!. I dont understand why this development will not do periodic or random building/ unit inspections to deter this behavior. The office threatened thru email to raise rent of renters caught smoking and trashing the hallways. How?? That would entail leaving the rental office during the work day to visit a building or unit. I come home from work alot and the smell of weed is in my unit even when the hallways dont smell and I dont smoke. That came from neighbors that get high as if their life depended on it. Ive come to normalize sleeping with the bedroom door shut to deter the loud music and residual weed smell. Im not gonna trash Diamond Ridge but it its what it is. Ive stepped up shopping new home sales, LOL!!
Was told by the leasing office to put my complaints in writing so here it is.overall the apartment and complex as a whole deserves 2.5 starsMy complaints today are about the building I live in.People are constantly smoking in the buildingThere are currently 4 bags of trash that are stinking up the hallway in the rear of the buildingThe front building door is always broken it either won’t close properly or won’t open altogether which is why I use the rearThe apartment is rather smallThe water doesn’t stay hot for more than 5 minutesThe apartment is outdated as far as appliances and the wooden floorsThe neighborhood is quiet 60% of the time
Nothing left to say but despicable~
I am very disappointed with this place. Shame on you for not helping some of the people who live in Diamond ridge with your terrible maintenance.... Oh and one more thing..Fix the sewage problem on the back of 2306 Rogate circle!
This was the worst experience i have ever had renting....i finally got Morgan Properties to agree to let me out of the lease after dealing with a year of horrible mice infestations and so many other issues i can’t even begin to name!!!!! You can go to YELP to see the pictures i posted of the mice and mice droppings hidden behind the furniture. Now they are trying to say I’m still responsible for the property because i left the key in the unit instead of taking it to the office. Morgan Properties ...leave me ALONE. After we began to move our furniture out of the unit to clean up there was SO MANY MOUSE DROPPINGS we didn’t even finish! It was disgusting there were two dead decaying mice one under the sink and one smashed behind the TV stand. Morgan Properties....you need to stop contacting me and contact an exterminator to exterminate those filthy trifling rodent infested apartments. Leave me alone.
I have been in this complex for approximately 3 years. Since Ive been here the prior management were professional and kind and tried to resolve any existing problems in a timely fashion. The upkeep in my building was ok but there is an annoyance with particular tenants who smoke in the building. I havent been able to use my intercom to enter guest, but I dont have much company either. It still should be fixed properly. Since the new management company has taken over I have seen minimal changes and the upkeep on my building is horrible. There is always a smell in the building and maintenance does take longer than usual. I do understand it takes time for another management company to get things in order, but somethings are unacceptable. Im hoping there will be some positive changes as of now I praying and if not I will have to look for other arrangements once my lease is up. As far as the staff, Im spoiled by knowing the previous staff and them knowing me so I will have to get use to the new staff. Thus far the ones Ive encountered have been professional and cordial.
Sad, sad, 😢 property. Lazy maintenance staff dont fix anything to include kids smoking weed in the hallways please look somewhere else a waste of your money.....
The apartments on the site look amazing Im glad I started reading reviews. YUCK!
My boyfriend and I have been living here for the past year now and recently renewed our lease for an additional year. The complex according to other neighbors who have lived here for multiple years believe that management has been lax and declining. However, whenever I bring something to managements attention, it is immediately rectified. Maintenance is wonderful and responds to most calls within the week. It is relatively quiet on our side which means I am able to get the majority of my school work finished without distractions. It is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the city and approximately 8 minutes away from UMBC. Walgreens is just down the street and so is a WaWa. It is a great little place and once I have completed school, we are disheartened that we will have to move.We have the ascot layout and it is fantastic. We also live on the first floor with a fireplace, making winters very cozy. Balcony is spacious and is a great little spot to enjoy the outside weather.
I have been living here for almost a year and was very pleased with the conditions up until this past month. Once Morgan Properties took over there was an immediate change. My rent was processed under another account, maintence request take over a week to be answered and the property management team is rude and inconsiderate specifically Nakia Brown who is the assistant leasing manager. When concerns were brought to her attention her feedback was condencending and uncooperative. We have constant loiters infront of the building and in the building who do not reside here. The building buzzers never work, and its impossible to get in contact by phone with the office. I am extremely displeased with the service and NOW living conditions of my apartment.
This place is infested with roaches only been here 3 months and they do not fix nothing
I am a current tenant half way into my lease and cant wait to get out of here. The next 6 months are probably going to be the longest of my life.I live in Battersea Place and have to agree with what another reviewer said about parking. It is a nightmare, especially if you come home late at night. There is quite a simple solution to the problem-allowing tenants to be able to access the building from both front and rear doors; but I guess that will not be profitable as less tenants would be willing to pay the extra $50 charge for a designated spot.I was debating between giving RW 2 or 3 stars. However, since there is no 2.5, I will err on the side of positivism. The Good-My apartment is the Ascot plan and I really love the setup. It is spacious and allows for an ideal roommate situation-Office staff are for the most part friendly-Online portal where you can pay rents, some bills and place service requests for maintenance to come do repairs. Very convenient if you may not always have time to stop by the office during business hours. The Not so Good-The hallways are for the most part not properly kept/maintained. It will he helpful to hire someone, to come in once a week and clean up. I would not blame the office staff for that, but tenants who maybe forget where the dumpster is. But still having the area cleaned at least once a month will be helpful-If you are considering moving here and are a light sleeper like myself, please ask for a top floor apartment. For the 6 months Ive been here, I can count the number of nights I have slept uninterrupted at the most ungodly hours. Trust me, I have probably invested more than I should on ear plugs to no avail. My neighbors upstairs are rather very inconsiderate. They walk very very loudly and sometimes this goes on till about 2-4am. I have filed one verbal complain and a written complain with the office to no avail. I even spoke with the tenant upstairs and nothing has changed. Granted, some parts of the bedroom floors are very squeaky. I realized this only a few days after I moved in. However, I have made a conscious effort to avoid walking around those areas to be considerate of the neighbor downstairs but I guess my dear neighbors upstairs are not that considerate. You never know the importance of a decent uninterrupted sleep till you are deprived of it. Some days I wake up with headaches and tiredness from lack of sleep. I even called the apartment to inquire whether or not they have spoken with the resident in question and the response I got was they have been emailed. I asked if I could see the email and the response was no, because the email has confidential information.(Ok...point taken)-Maintenance can be sometimes very slow to respond to respond to service requests. I had to wait about 2 weeks to get something fixed in my kitchen. It was very inconveniencing.Bottom line, I will not outrigthly condemn RW apts, but I will not endorse them either. Again do your homework. If you think you may not be home by 9:00pm, then request for an apartment closer to the leasing office. Definitely not Battersea place otherwise you will drive around in circles, end up parking in the lot behind and still have to come all the way to the front to get in. Also, if you are a light sleeper, your best option for a good nights sleep is a top floor apartment. Take this from someone who is tired, and wants to go to bed, but is still up at this time (its almost midnight) because the neighbors upstairs dont seem to realize it is bedtime and are walking around in their usual loud manner.**I will update if anything changes. Otherwise it is going to be another long six (6)months of sleepless nights for me** :(
