These senior apartments are very nice the staff is friendly and supportive the resident services are always available and great with the residents. My daughter was impressed with the upkeep of the building and is glad I moved here she feels Im safe. Everyone is friendly . I would recommend this senior building to anyone the apartments are a decent size too
I wish I could give a negative review. Beautiful place but if you value being able to visit your loved ones without anyone telling you that you cant do not stay here and do not put anyone you care about in here either.I went up here to visit my Great Grandmother/adoptive mother yesterday and the lady at the desk gave me a really bad time despite me being up there frequently to visit. The issue started with me not having my ID on my immediate person, which wasnt an issue before with this person or any for that matter because in the event that I didnt have it on me they would call my grandmother just to be safe prior to this incident.Desk clerk called my Grandmother (with an attitude) by phone and was even told by her that she had been expecting me and that it would be fine to let me up. But instead the Desk clerk had me wait 5 minutes with my uncle at the desk while she talked to someone else on the phone about whether or not to let me up and despite my identity being confirmed by my Great Grandmother prior I was denied the right to see her. This really upset me and my Great Grandmother greatly as I hadnt seen her in so long, whats more is when my uncle was sent upstairs without me the lady immediately told me to get off the property or else shed call the police. It was painfully obvious that I had no ill intent and confirmed that I had business their by my Great Grandmother nonetheless and I was treated with disrespect and a very nasty attitude. Got it all on video recording too via a body camera and had a nice talk with a lawyer like a friend suggested. These people will bend the rules whenever they see fit based off their immediate personal feelings, in fact, I was up here three weeks ago with my physical state ID and was still denied access to see her because apparently I looked like I didnt belong in there. and that time she didnt even bother calling up to my Great Grandmother. Whats more concerning is months before that the building had an actual fire and I had to rush down to get my Great Grandmother off of the floor because she fell and was in need of assistance. The onsite staff arent even able to lift or assist residents in immediate need! I was also stopped and hassled for my ID then when all I wanted to do was get my Grandmother off the floor! Horrible. Regardless if anyone has an ID or not they should treat all guest with the same respect they give everyone else, that goes without saying the ID to get in rule is rather tedious and subject to manipulation by staff behind the desk.
Frequent utility problems... Such as heat/air condition...hot water. At least one elevator is often in disrepair. Air quality in the apts is affected by poorly designed furnace filtering systems in individual apartments. Lastly, the placement of the heating/air condition unit in the apartments allows some to be unusually cold in Winter and hot in the Summer, regardless of temperture control settings. Use of space heaters is forbidden.
Loved my apartment and the staff were friendly and supportive in every way.
My husband and I have a ministry there. We love the seniors that come and worship with us.
