Usually not negative, but today I went to salon in hopes of finding a new home. Planned on getting hair washed and styled and a little pampering. I have short hair I realize, but I was out of there in 20 minutes. Very little product and time spent on hair. If I had the chance to add a new client, I would have done a little pampering and taken more time. Guess this is not my new home!
I have gone to stylist Nicki for everything from cuts, style, extensions and color. I get bored with my hair and am constantly trying different looks. Nicki always listens to what new idea I have and delivers. I recently got balayage and the color came out perfect. I left feeling very happy with my look.
I had a balayage done by Farrah and I am beyond happy! I had one done over the summer and afterward it looked as if nothing had been done to my hair and I was $200 in the hole for nothing! Farrah took her time and made sure I was happy with the results. She was a pleasure to talk with as well! I will surely be returning later this year when I need a touch up. Thank you, Farrah!!
Absolutely love my hair every single time I’ve walked out of there after my appointment! My hair was box dyed for years and Waseela didn’t stop until we got the most desirable color :) She had been talking to me about a keratin treatment since last year, and i finally got it done a couple weeks ago. I wish i would’ve done it sooner! Waseela was very precise and thorough getting every single strand!! Definitely the keratin queen :)

Every time I come to this Salon Im treated as if Im their most important customer! I book my appointments for the whole year and go quite often, so to read a review that someone didnt get what they wanted sounds off to me. The entire staff go out of their way to make your appointment relaxing, calming and you leave feeling amazing. It is well worth the drive from Lakewood.
I have been going to the avon location for a few years and I see the stylist Jess. She is amazing she listens to exactly what I want and I never leave unhappy. I change my hair a lot and Im always thrilled when shes finished! I recommend her to everyone!
I have never written a negative review for anything because I believe that the world needs to be a kinder place, but I am absolutely appalled by the service that I just received. I walked in scheduled for a blonde balayage and I walked out with a purple and gold mullet. Oh and to add the cherry on top I am three months away from my wedding with my bridal shower at the end of this month. After my hair was lightened it was white and yellow (clearly not something desirable). She tried to tone it and then said your hair is not ok so I will just cut it out. I can not even begin to tell you how horrible this cut is and it literally left me with a mullet. At this point it literally couldn’t get any worse (or so I thought) and I asked to just go back to my natural brown color. Well an hour later and TWO MORE UNSUCCESSFUL TONES I now have purple and gold hair. Never once did a manager come speak with me and everything just seemed to be swept under the rug. She said “don’t worry your hair isn’t ruined for your wedding”. Who are you trying to convince? Me or you? I have never been more horrified when leaving a salon as I was today. The worst part about it is she asked me to accommodate her schedule to come in and have it fixed (I would never even consider that if she was willing to do it right there). I am absolutely horrified and I will not be returning anymore.
I came here for a keratin treatment, my hair was curly and damaged, after Waseela doing her magic on it, my hair is now healthier, smoother and shiny! I love it !! Waseela is the best

By far THE WORST salon experience Ive EVER had!! First I had scheduled my appointment for July 5th. I live in Parma so I drive all the way to Avon arrive a half hour early and waited 20 minutes before anyone came to check me in or even acknowledged me. And there was only one other costumer in there at the time. Then after waiting nearly a half hour the receptionist who is incapable of doing her job tells me they dont have me until July 15th. (This is the same receptionist I spoke to while making my appointment and I asked a few questions like the time frame I would be looking at for what I was looking to have done and because I had another appointment later that evening I wanted to make sure i would still be able to make it to. Were getting married beginning of August and I told her I was positive I would not have made an appointment that late in the month, that close to our wedding.) so I come back two days later and the customer service was still terrible. I speak with the hair stylist Nikki and tell her everything I was looking for, to keep my length, just add a few more layers in a V shape cut and to get an all over rich brown color with very thin natural Carmel highlights and some low lights. Over all a dark look.. And I stressed the fact that I did not want to look blonde. I DO NOT understand what was so hard to comprehend. She never put a color in my hair even though I asked multiple times if I was able to pick an example color and was told no. After that I asked about the low lights and I was told oh were not doing those. we dont need to. She gave me a straight across cut and made my hair so short that I now have to spend more money to buy hair extensions, and she made me blonde which I couldnt stress enough I DID NOT Want to look blonde. At the end she Says to me now that you are blonde I suggest you purchase some purple shampoo I was completely side stuck and at a loss for words with what had just happened. Literally EVERYTHING I told her I DID NOT WANT is what she ending up doing. End result was I had to pay almost $200 for something I absolutely hated! I was so hurt and crushed. I was not about to ask this lady to fix it because clearly if she were able to do it right she would have the FIRST time. I cried the whole way home it looked so unprofessional. Everyone there was so cold and unfriendly. Thankfully I found a reputable hair stylist who fixed my botched color and at least fixed the terrible cut. But Im still out $200, had to pay more to have it fixed and still have to pay for hair extensions which I definitely did not need to begin. Its just so incredibly sad that this happened and someone could so carelessly do the opposite of everything you are asking for. Please do not even risk it by using this salon!!! Overpriced, Rude, & incompetent staff!
