I am blown away by the extremely high standard of care shown by everyone at this practice. They have far exceeded my expectations and I will be a customer for as long as I have pets!!! My first visit was with an older cat having some issues and they took the time to ensure that I was happy with everything they were doing, and have checked on her several times since. Today I was there with my younger cat who is not known for her cuddly disposition - they were able to attend to most of her needs without sedation! Indeed they were willing to continue but it was my choice mainly for my pet’s comfort to finish everything up with mild sedation. Covid has made many things much more difficult and I was dreading having to find and deal with a new vet but this entire process has been wonderful! Not just five stars...five hundred!!! 😻😻😻😻😻😻

I’ve been going to Durocher Vet Clinic for over 25 years! Both Dr. Durocher and Dr. Deskin have been phenomenal with all my animals over the years, but it became more evident with how blessed I am to have the whole clinic available to me at the drop of a hat. They saw my dam Belle and her whole litter in under an hour yesterday and had us all off and running with vaccines completed and lesson plans for the pups owners. Great Docs + Great Staff makes for such a wonderful vet experience!

I am very disappointed in the way this clinic handled my beloved pet. We had a 12-year-old cat named Divinity. She had health problems over the years but recently seemed very ill. When we took her to this vet, they ran tests and said her kidneys had shut down and would probably die in 1-3 months. They tried to sell us on additional treatments and special foods. I asked if this would extend her life and they said no so we declined the extra services. They charged us $300 for the little bit they did. Less than a week later she was nearly dead so we brought her back to be put to sleep, they charged us another $100. I think they charged too much for the little they did but what upsets me most is them saying she had 1-3 months yet she died less than a week later. We were not prepared for her sudden death.

Dr. Durocher has been my fur babies doctor for more than 20 years. When my grandson broke the leg of my 4 lb Chihuahua I ran to Dr D. He set the leg and never gave up, although it took longer than expected Bud had use of all his legs in time.Dr. Durocher’s kindness and understanding helped me to deal with a broken hearted situation.Again when Bud gobbled a chicken wing left over we laughed. Our laughter soon turn to tears when the bone lodge in his belly causing a restriction Dr D when in to do surgery and removed the bone with a wonderful technique.Again Doucher Veterinary Clinic of Thibodaux goes above and beyond what I could have asked.

I love this place they are always understanding, helpful, and I get treated like family. They love my animals like I do and are always willing to go extra for my fur babies.
