I used to go to Planet Fitness and asked to cancel my membership back in April. They told me it was cancelled and I went on to join a different gym and move to another town. Months later, I’m still being charged for my PF membership. I called the store about this problem and losing over $100. They told me that they had an employee that didn’t know how to cancel memberships and had told me and like twenty other people that he had cancelled our memberships but didn’t really do it. They told me I wouldn’t get my money back. Honestly this is so shameful and shows what the company is really about. They just want your money and even when they acknowledge it’s their fault, you’re going to be the one to pay the price. I would NEVER recommend Planet Fitness to anyone anywhere.

Josh was simply amazing, very informative and knowledgeable about the facility. I called ahead and was given all the info I asked for and his professionalism was on point. Very happy I signed up. Zero regrets. Clean facility.

Love the Grand Island location! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The equipment is in great condition and there are TONS of machines. Everything, restrooms and locker rooms included, are always clean!

Lots of good clean equipment and options for everyone. Would definitely recommend. Only complaint is that I couldnt find the restroom at first.

Good location. Its a value gym, so equipment is basic, but well maintained and clean.

Spoke to an employee, Joshua about my account and I apparently had too many questions because he would preface his response with “like I said” and had a poor attitude. It shouldn’t be a chore to clarify questions over a 3 minute conversation.

I can’t rate my experience any higher and it’s solely because of the AMAZING manager Ariel! She went above and beyond for me after I left my $300 coat there, she was extremely accommodating and went out of her way to ensure it got back to me when we were only passing through NE. Thank you again Ariel.. you quickly reminded me that there are still fantastic people in this world and you are certainly one of them!!!! Give that girl a RAISE!!!!

Good atmosphere and you get what you need out of it.Great for recovery

No problem parking, fully equipped and digital scale... but the basic older equipment line, and outdated tanning at this location. Most PFs in the country have level 4 sunrise 480s at least, and a lot have level 5 bronzers. Still not bad.

I come here to work out. Love that its 24 hours and cheaper than the places in my town.

I just forgot my wallet at this PF, and they called me right away and returned it to me, nothing was missing! THANK YOU GUYS!!! You are amazing!

The staff is always friendly.If you have any problems with anything they will take care of it.

The newest fitness place in Grand Island. True 24/7 unlike many of the other Planet Fitness locations....I’ve actually worked out at 2 or 3 in the morning, awesome when you just can’t sleep!!! Unfortunately they get 4 stars because they just don’t have ready available classes you can sign up for to target specific body parts in 30 minute time frames while you are there. Very clean!

Not bad only downfall is that they are no longer open 24 hours. Other than that its clean and the staff is friendly.

I love PF. Very clean and comfortable gym with plenty of machines and treadmills. $10/month gets you all the weights and machines you want 24/7... another $10 and you can do classes, tan and use the massage beds. Lots ofbang for the buck!

I love Planet Fitness. I feel good after a workout and its a comfortable place to go for exercising.

Been wanting to start a workout program. A trainer there was very helpful in getting me started. Love going there for a good workout. Comfortable, modern facility. Feeling better, and starting to look better. Better stamina and endurance in many areas of my life.

I enjoy going to this Planet Fitness. It is always clean and the machines are all new. Since it is so large, even when there are a lot of people working out it doesn’t feel cramped. The staff are very nice always. I have thoroughly enjoyed having a membership here at this location.

Planet finess has been such a life changing journey. I have lost 86 pounds since I have been going. Im in the best shape of my life mentally, physically and emotionally. I love the environment that planet fitnes has created and its really affordable to a single dad of 4 beautiful boys.Today I cant stand to look at the man planet fitness has helped through a tough journey of being healthier and happier in my life today. Love this place.

Ive been to a lot of Planet Fitness locations. This is by far my favorite! Very friendly, clean, and a great atmosphere to workout in. Great equipment and variety!

Nice facilities cant complain there but if you have a problem with the management terminating your contract with the club good luck because they seem to want to continue to take money out of your account. Good luck contacting corporate too. Been on the phone with no response for a day until I talked to someone with no resolve. Poor management.

I work there lol. Besides that its a great environment to work out. Customers walk in with a smile and leave with a smile. We always keep it clean. Great deal going on for the black card membership rn. $1 down and only $24.77 after tax. Great deal to get access to the tanning beds and massage chairs that we have. Whether its before or after a workout, the hydro massage beds leave you feeling extra relaxed.

Love this place. Great staff, clean facility. I usually come early in the morning before work and then just shower and get ready their then go straight to work. The showers are nice and hot and private. I usually bring my daughter a long as well in the mornings and she also will shower and get ready to go to school there. No complaints and she is a teenager, so that is saying something. 😉. Great place for all ages and all body types.

With all the nasty illnesses going around from people not washing their hands. I was informed by the front desk person, that they didn’t have any hand soap for the Men’s Restroom today. We are all touching your equipment that everyone else has touched! Go to the store and buy hand soap for us to use until your shipment arrives. Absolutely disgusting 🤢😷

I’ve been in the club twice, once in September, and the other last week as a guest. The place looks absolutely great compared to my last visit! When I first came and worked out, the manager was not friendly, she couldn’t answer any questions my last visit, the staff seemed more up beat, the gentleman at the front desk greeted me with a smile, held the scanner out for my nephew, and even recommended some tips on training, at the end of my workout I asked him how long he had been working, and he said since around Halloween. He shook my hand, and thanked me for stopping in. There isn’t another gym around that treats their people with more respect, and act of belonging.George Thorogood.

I feel it’s best gym in Grand Island. It’s open 2t hours which makes it convenient for people like me who workout at no fixed time. They have plenty of equipment no matter how crowded it gets. Love the Hydromassage bed available for black card members. Deducting 1 star for lacking Sauna and steam room.

This place is clean staff is very friendly, manager Cory is extremely nice. Would highly recommend this gym. Their free summer program for teens is wonderful!

Great experience working out here. I travel all over the US and planet fitness is always there to help me stay healthy, I hope they stay for long because at this prices its very good for many people.

Well first off the staff that works there are amazing and super helpful and nice . The gym is a very nice gym and super affordable if your looking at possibly trying to loose weight or build muscle and the best part of you dont like it your not committed you can cancel at any time . Where else in the town can you do that and where else is it 20.00 for everything and let me tell you the hydro message chair is worth it by its self . If your not in to that than where else can you work out for 120.00 bucks a year . This place is the best . If your like me and lift heavy I will say there dumb bells stop at 75 witch I wish they went to at least 100 . But for the money hands down the best gym in town

Just wanted to thank everybody here at this Planet Fitness I want to hear for about a month Im from Florida pretty much everybody that worked here I enjoyed having a conversation with and working out at this Planet Fitness hope everybody has a great life enjoy it you only live once Ill see you guys if I come back up here after my family reunions

Nobody bothers you. Excellent exercise machines. Plenty of machines for everybody all the time. Friendly place. Prized right. Love it.

Its huge! Its clean, there is at lease one staff member there at all times, there is a nice sized locker room. Not a member but thinking about becoming one because its really affordable for anyone.

I travel for work and go to many different PFs. I can honestly say this is one of the nicer ones I have been to. Great staff on the early morning shift! Very clean facility!

Love it here! Very helpful staff who answer all your questions. The equipment is up to date. You can sanitize the machines as you go (they leave spray bottles on tables throughout gym). This location offers massage rooms, tanning, crossfit stations and everything else you need.

Love the hours. I am able to go when my schedule works for me. The place is always clean. The best thing about Planet Fitness is the membership fee fits perfectly with my budget.

Was nice when I started but gets way too busy at times. People use more than one machine at a time and get mad when you get on one of them (not knowing they are using both). Way too dark inside. Music sucked. Stunk bad at times. Most staff doesn’t even acknowledge you most of the time. When I terminated my membership I was told “ok just sign the pad”. I had to ask what I was signing. Not once was I asked why I was quitting their gym or showed any interest at all.

I bought a day pass at the Grand Island facility, and I’ve never been treated so well at a gym before! I got a tour from the manager, and he explained the rates, as well as where everything was! My wife and myself plan on signing up at the one in Kearney, and hope that treat us as well as the Grand Island team did!

Only 20 bucks a month for everything they have to offer. Large workout area, plenty of machines, respectful staff and patrons. The massage chairs are worth the 20 bucks alone.

Lets be real. The music is loud, and there is more purple than I care to see. The only reason I come here is that I like the space (its a large place). The staff are friendly, but some of the equipment is cheap. They have cheap equipment and dont care that the music is obnoxiously loud (90% of people wear headphones) simply because the gym options in Grand Island are limited. I will give 2 stars, although they probably deserve 1 for taking advantage of me as a resident. They would be more careful about the Customer Experience if this were San Francisco, NYC, or Chicago.

Ive been trying to call the planet fitness in Grand Island for 2 days with no answer, last night for 3 hours over the course of 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 lady night, and this morning at 10:45.I called the Lincoln office to see if they knew for sure that the phone number for the Grand Island facility was correct, and they couldnt help me. Called this morning at 10 minutes to 11 didnt get an answer. I waited a few minutes and called back, and got a girl by the name of Jasmine. I asked her if they had staff overnight and she said yes, and when I explained to her that nobody answered the phone for 3 hours, She explained the overnight person sometimes forgets to take the phone with them when theyre cleaning the gym. I told her that was not good customer service, or a good impression if somebody was intrested in asking or staff members a question since it states of they are open 24 hours a day. She rudely asked me are you interested in joining or not, and I dont appreciate you talking about my staff badly. I said I wasnt talking badly about your staff I was telling you that it wasnt good customer service for somebody not to answer the phone for 3 hours. When I tried to explain to her that I wanted to join, you could tell she was also engaged in another conversation. When I asked for the owners name, she says they live in Wisconsin. I give Jasmine a 1 star for her lack of customer service and nonchalant attitude about fixing the problem of answering the phone. I will join, but only on the ratings other members have given about the facility!

I Switched gyms. Went in Friday to cancel membership, they said it was all done and I was good to go, than I randomly get charged 41.93 Over the weekend, so Monday I go in and they tell me the account never changed (account was never canceled) and I would not get a refund.

I really like that I can exercise and get to feeling better after being sick for over 12 years. A little overwhelming at first. However, I got lots of ideas to squeeze in for an hour. Thank you. 😊😊😊😊
