Manager and driver Max are just trying to get your money. My warranty covered a tow I did not picke them personally and I’m glad I now know not to get them ever.Don’t waste your money. Please do not use them.
Look you probably got assigned them from your roadside assistance, if you’re smart enough to read reviews 1st ASK THEM FOR ANOTHER COMPANY! I can’t tell you if they’re a good service or not but I can tell you I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes without being able to get a hold of them and when I called roadside assistance they were appalled and said it’s probably better to just reassign the job….. so ya probably best not to use them, guess they don’t like easy insurance money
There was a Galaxy Towing truck behind me on 2222 west. The driver nearly bumped the back of my car. I may have been going too slowly, not sure...and then he pulled up next to me and flipped me off repeatedly. Very bad energy!!!
I called my insurance to use roadside assistance. They connected me with Galaxy, who said their ETA was 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, I called and was told another 10-15. After that, I kept getting an updated ETA of 10 to 15 minutes more, over and over. After 2 1/2 hours, I canceled the tow and asked for a new one. R&C was at my house within 10 minutes.
This tow service was assigned by my roadside service with Progressive. I was given an ETA of an hour and a phone number for them (Galaxy). The phone number went to a full voice mailbox. They missed the one hour ETA and two subsequent ETAs that were given to Progressive by Galaxy. From looking at the reviews, this is par for the course for Galaxy. Do not use them and if your roadside service assigns to them ask for a reassignment to a tow service that will actually show up and honor their ETAs.
My tow time was set for a time frame between 6:30-7:30 pm I got a text at 5pm saying eta 60 minutes, okay fine so I got ride there and was there by 6pm. I received zero communication on eta, I actually had to call them a few times and got the run around. Then I got sent a 5 minute out eta text twice, with 15 minutes apart, and it’s just really frustrating. You pay so much, ($100 to move the car maybe 5 miles up the road) and don’t get proper communication and wait around for a wrong eta. It’s 2021, like you can send a correct eta or give someone an ideal time frame. I’m 8 months pregnant and it’s a hassle to deal with car issues and then on top of it, poor communication and waiting around in the Texas heat. I’d take your business else where.
We were broke down on the side of the road and called Nationwide to get emergency roadside assistance. They ended up setting us up with Galaxy towing with an ETA of 8:38pm, the time was currently 6:48. Ok no problem, takes a bit.I wait until almost 9:00pm and still no one has showed up. I called the line first time to which it went to voicemail, which had a full inbox. Called again, finally got someone on the phone who said there was an accident, your tow driver will call you shortly. We wait almost 30 minutes and no call back. We attempted to call the number back again only to now be forced to a voicemail after 2 short rings, meaning our call was purposely being denied by whoever was on the other line.We wait another hour, no tow truck. We call again, voicemail. We call again, voicemail. They were ignoring our calls at this point. At the 2 hour mark PAST the estimated time of arrival I finally get the guy on the phone again. He proceeds to tell me there is a problem with their truck and that they are not coming. He said he called my insurance provider and let them know they werent showing up. So instead of calling ME directly as he has my number, this guy has the audacity to ignore me and go through my insurance?!?!?!?! Had I not called we would have been sitting there all night waiting on a truck that would NEVER arrive!!!!This is by far the most unprofessional and rude service Ive ever had the displeasure or attempting to receive. I sincerely hope no one attempts to utilize this service in an emergency again! RUN!
I was supposed to receive towing service to a dealership this morning. Volkswagen roadside assistance notified me at 7:59am that Galaxy Towing was dispatched with an ETA of 60-70 minutes. Over 3 hours later, no one had shown up, no one contacted me, nothing. I called to ask what happened and it was as if he had no idea he was supposed to be going anywhere. I canceled and got my vehicle to the dealership on my own.
Been almost two weeks since my accident happened. The car is still being held at their lot not going anywhere, not getting taken to the shop. Perfect 80°-90° weather. No natural disasters.
Galaxy lived up to their reputation once again. Initial ETA was at 60-75 minutes, then updated twice more to 30 minutes each time. I called my insurance company and requested a different company.
Great service… polite, professional, was here on time. Couldn’t ask for more.
My girlfriend popped her tire on a messed up curb in my apartment complex and her insurance company had contacted this service to come tow her car to the local Wal-Mart. I can’t quickly explain the incompetence of this company, but they should absolutely not be in service at all. It was entirely unprofessional and after waiting far longer than we were initially told the entire thing ended up being canceled through the insurance company due to their unprofessionalism. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Ive used Galaxy towing in the past, and its always been a disaster to use them. Last night, I popped my tire going around a curb too sharp in the rain. My 2018 Kia Forte did not come with a spare tire from the dealership, and I havent gotten around to getting a spare. I was able to safely park at my friends apartment complex for the night, and was planning to get the roadside assistance from my insurance to dispatch a towing company in the morning. I put in a roadside assistance request at 10:11am. I was told Galaxy Towing was dispatched and would be there by 11:11am. At 11am, I had not heard a confirmation from them, so I called. I was told they were 10 minutes out, but on the way. I went out to my car to wait. At 11:10am, nobody was there. I checked my roadside request again, and it said that Galaxy Towing was on the scene, and had been since 11:06am. I tried calling them back to clarify, no answer. I called 7 times in a row, straight to voice-mail each time. I called my insurance back, and they got in touch with Galaxy Towing and were told that there tow truck had broken down and that they were sending a new one, and that it should only be another 15 minutes. At this point Im livid because Ive dealt with them in this exact situation before. Their excuse is always a broken down truck for when theyre late. I wait 30 more minutes. At this point, its noon and theyve wasted half my day. I call another 5 times, no answer. I tried calling from a friends phone in case they really were ignoring calls from my number, and they still didnt answer. I call my insurance back and ask that my service with Galaxy Towing be canceled, and asked them to dispatch another Towing company. My insurance placed me on hold to get in touch with Galaxy themselves to cancel, and it took my insurance 10 minutes of constant calling to get through to anybody to cancel. Its currently 12:15pm, and Im finally waiting on another tow company to show up.Do not use Galaxy Towing unless you are completely out of other options, and at that point, I would consider pushing my car where it needed to go instead of working with them.If there was a way to give 0 stars and still leave a review, I would.**Edit: After I canceled my service, Galaxy Towing showed up and asked where my vehicle was. I told him not to worry about it, that I had tried calling them 10+ times and decided to cancel my service with them because they werent punctual or professional. The guy on the phone started yelling over me that, we are very professional and started mocking me and giving me attitude. I told him that it didnt matter because I canceled my service call with them, and that he could leave. This was all while he was still yelling over me on the phone.News Flash, Galaxy Towing: Yelling over your customers on the phone is NOT PROFESSIONAL.
Completely awful. Dont see how theyre still in business.
Said driver was on site. Called 10-20 times no answer. Had to cancel their service. Horrible company. Waited outside for an hour trying to contact them.
Usaa roadside assistance. Three hours later and 5 missed committed times, they stopped answering the phone. Beware. Don’t use this company.
So terrible SMH
Completely incompetent group of folks. Definitely call a separate towing company.
Tow company never showed up. Kept on changing eta waited 5 hours. They never picked up there phone I would not recommend.
This was the WORST towing company ever. The driver cussed me out. Dispatch doesnt call you back.
Call someone else. The only plus side to my experience is they didnt get paid.I setup a tow through AARP, they accepted the job. They did not show up at the scheduled time. I called them directly, was told 20 more minutes. I gave an hour and called back. The guy said he would check, then hung up on me. Tried to call back, straight to a full voicemail. Come to find out with AARP they canceled the call. Instead of telling me they just blocked my number. Keep in mind i spoke to him only twice and was never upset and didnt give him a hard time at all. This coward didnt have the guts to even tell me i was going to be stuck. I would not be writing this review if he could communicate like a normal person.I confirmed they blocked my number by calling with another phone. Pathetic. I hope they get removed as a partner provider.
They accepted a job ride with vendor. They show up and surprise I cant ride with vendor plus its raining. Lucky for me I have Lyft/Uber but imagine someone who doesnt or it isnt an option they would have to walk a few miles to the nearest anything.
Worst service of any towing company Ive ever experienced. None of them honest, but this was the worst!
Horrible!!! Accepted my job with AAA and even called to confirm with me. An hour later I got a call from AAA that they had refused it after I had been sitting and waiting.
Why cant I leave 0 stars?
Great towing service from Mark! A++
Really bad service, the owner rude.
Ignorant, rude, and at times unintelligible.
David was a fantastic driver.
