I had a dangerous incident with one of the drivers being reckless. I called in to report and the owner got back to me within the hour. Seemed very understanding of the situation and reassured me that is not how they like thier business represented and that he will be speaking with his driver

All I will say, is that these guys really know what theyre doing. Completely satisfied with their services. Reliable and fair prices. 10/10

Fast, cheap and not rude like most towing companies

Austex was excellent. They moved a trailer, that was awkwardly positioned to another location. Everything went well. They were a tremendous help.

They were horrible. They said someone would be there with in the hour. And we waited 3 hours and than the lady said she would call when they would be on there way. Well she didnt even do that. So we will never use them again. Very poor poor services.

Some of the most awesome, friendly, helpful service in the toeing industry. Clean, good smelling lobby. They even had a vending machine. Other lots ive been too they are rude and not helpful. These guys though even drove me to my car and helped me find it. Kudos Austex towing. You actually made this horrible expensive situation A pretty good one. Thanks.

Im inside eating Whataburger with my family.. Were finishing up. I see this youre truck pull up. He blocks is in.I walk around to find that he us squeezing himself between my car and his truck to help her this White Camaro loaded. Pushing up against my carbon fiber spoiler, spats and diffuser.No damage, but this is very unprofessional. Get off of my car and let us go.Once my family was loaded and we were ready to reverse he began messing with the lift again- its coming towards us!? No patience.Mustve been the pretty young girl he was helping.Thumbs down.

Ofc they take your car n charge as em n leg to get out ofc certain days to get out everyday money adding when you dont have money in the first place so how does that make sense it doesnt its so they can keep your car resell it make money and thats how towing companies stay in business and thats why I hate them

I had to move two shipping storage units, one 8x22, one 8x25. I was directed to Ronnie, who is THE BEST!!! Prices were half what other haulers wanted, *only* loaded miles were charged for (not also the miles from where the rig starts, to wherever they are supposed to hook up to what you want hauled. Due to some last minute complications, I had to change the location on my property where I wanted these two units put down. Instead of the location I had cleared for them, they now had to be placed side-by-side in between a barn with a fragile overhanging roof, and a large tree. Ronnie was able to place each unit, and adjust it *so* perfectly, you would have thought he was moving a grain of rice with some tweezers, his precision and skill is amazing. He was prompt, honest, efficient, everything youd want! And his little tiny dog Zorro is adorable and so smart and cute! Im about to call this company again right now, to move a 40-foot shipping container for me!

The pricing was my only issue. However, that is not the employees fault, just the owners. The lobby was very spacious, they had a restroom and a vending machine. The gentlemen working along with the tow driver I had to use were all very helpful. So I rate 4 stars because they were customer service friendly.

Expensive. $273.50 for less than 24 hours, to get my car back that APD had towed there for no vaid reason, from private property mind u. However, aside from the price, this place has been the BEST and UNIQUE, surprisingly PLEASANT experiences Ive ever had when it comes to getting my car back from having been towed. They accept many different payment methods, are very QUICK, KIND, and COURTEOUS. They offered to give me a ride to my car in a covered golf cart, and when we got to my car I was astonished to find it undamaged (aside from what APD broke and stole from it before calling the tow guys) and neatly parked in a spacious, enclosed and protected from elements GARAGE. And to add a 🍒 to an already sweet experience, the employee there said to stop by the office on my drive out of the garage, so he could spray some cleaner and wipe off the chalk writing off of my windshield. I made sure to tell him that this was the most pleasant and appreciated experience Ive ever had an any toe yard. It really made my day. And after a very stressful and difficult encounter with APD violating my rights, i had been expecting more of the same level of bs, but nope, these guys at Austex Towing & Recovery gave me hope for the future, and i hope they inspire others in the industry to change their despicable ways. this was the only time Ive ever paid to get my car back, and drove away with good feelings, vs pain and anguish like in my other experiences elsewhere. Keep up the awesomeness and respect guys, its really really really appreciated and makes such a difference in a persons life, especially when are a time when theyve just been through an experience with APD filled with a total lack of respect and being treated like dirt. I have used numerous towing companies over the last 25 years but have never been more impressed than I was today at Austex! The front office/waiting area was very clean and roomy. The front staff was courteous, professional, and very friendly. We even got a ride out to our damaged car to retrieve some belongings in a golf cart! I would recommend them to anyone.

The old blonde hair lady was very rude and standoffish. She is not friendly in any way. Worst customer service from anywhere. She needs to be fired. Even answering the phone rudely, not good for business.

The website has glitches and will not allow emails to be sent.

A few days ago I went to reclaim a vehicle that was impounded because I am the lean holder on the title. I could have taken the vehicle with me that same day but the lady working in the front desk was being uncooperative and starting saying with attitude that I need a power of attorney affidavit to take the vehicle. She did not listen to me at all and did not bother to look at the title with my name under the lean holder. And after being rude and dismissive, she walked away from her desk. If she was actually doing her job and not being preoccupied being rude, i could have taken the vehicle with me that very same day. Absolutely terrible customer service and they need to retrain their employees to have better customer service skills.

They were very friendly and helpful. They will let you get stuff out of your car even if its impounded.

If your wanting a tow for a semi truck. 18 wheeler. Don’t bother. Most terrible towing company out there. They will take out your drive shaft but they will not hook it back up. They will tell u to call a different towing to do it. This is terrible service. Don’t use them. Waste of money

Got pulled over on my way to work, went to jail, truck got impounded... got out, went to get truck and these guys were nice enough to meet me atlate hours, give a discount and cover my belongings up with a tarp in the back because of bad weather. Then they aired my tires up for men my way out!

I called this company seeking for help and a person named Sandy answer the phone. She was very rude when I try to explain my situation. I would not ever recommend anyone that I know of to this company because of the rudeness. She needs to be trained that people dont call because of a happy situation.

The phone and the office staff were helpful and friendly and helped me with great professionalism. It was an overall good experience considering the circumstances.

Zero stars.They charged me full price even tho my car was stolen. My wallet was in the car when it got stolen so I didnt have my ID so I asked them to check the car. They returned saying the wallet wasnt in the car and that I would have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get my car back. When I finally did get my car back I found my wallet in my center console... I got charged extra days because they neglected to look in the center console for my wallet? Not to mention the fact I never broke any rules or laws to have my car end up there in the first place. These people profit off of other peoples misfortunes and its appalling. The workers there were untoo happy to help anyone and create loopholes so they can store your car longer than needed so they get more money. If the police gave them my car after being stolen then there should only be a reduced service charge. They get free business from the city and then charge people full price as if I was the one who messed up? Karma is.. not a nice person and will catch up to people working in such places that benefit from other peoples losses.

Car sat in the lot for more than 45 days and lienholder never got notified. Now more than $1200 to get it out. Win-win situation for them.

My dads car got stolen,and the officer called him 3 times cause the officer pulled over the person and found the car,my dad was asleep when the officer called,and then it ended up geting towed here my dad had to pay the full amount just to get the pinche car over 250$ and that our car got stolen and he had to pay for and i put some money in too its just overpriced.

I showed up at 11:45PM and they asked me for proof of insurance, I had it in my phone since I ride a motorcycle and the lady said she didnt have access to her email so I couldnt email her a copy. She had me call my insurance provider so that they can fax a copy, by then time I get through customer service and get the copy faxed over, the lady the systems were down and had to wait about 20 mins. By the time the systems went up it was past midnight and forced me to pay the additional day fee for something not even my fault.

My husband had an accident, they towed his truck here. Police said all his work tools were in the bed of the truck when they towed it, so they should have been there. His brother went to see the truck to get my husbands tools but the tools were not there anymore!
