I took my daughter to get her nails done here and when we left my daughter was in tears because of the way her nails looked. There was a bunch of acrylic left behind her nails and the white dots you see were suppose to be flowers🤦🏽‍♀️. I asked for a refund and was told the owner was out of town that they will fix it for her instead but my daughter is so upset that she doesn’t even want to go back

I do love this place for pedicures, especially the popular older gentleman he’s AMAZING! However I had my nails done here for the first time Thursday June 17 and it was concerning.The male (different male) was cutting my cuticles fast and ripped my cuticle on a nail. Pretty bad. He proceeded to continue to apply the base and top coats to that nail, even though blood was surrounding the cuticle. So essentially my blood was mixing with the polish.I’m torn if I can return to this place because that was super unsanitary.

Cindy is awesome I had bleeding fingers from a nail shop I went to and they ripped my nails off and I left there and went to Sky Nails and Cindy was very gentle and polite and kind helpful and I really liked it there that is my new place thank you Cindy she even put me eyelashes on

Tin is absolutely AMAZING! I wish I could post a picture of how perfect he did my nails! He was straight up and I love that! We talked the whole time and he made me feel comfortable for my first visit! Everything was clean, definitely going to be my GO TO SPOT!

This place is amazing! I came here, because I really needed my nails done, but lost track of time and didn’t want to walk in to my go-to spot the last hour of the day. I saw this place closed a little later than others, so I decided to check it out. I was blown away away by the service provided by the staff. I received a gel manicure and the gentleman took his time and really listened to what I wanted. I really appreciate the work that was done and the friendliness of the staff. Also, they have a punch card for a reward after so many services.. that’s amazing to offer a client! I look forward to returning for more services.

I’m giving 5 stars for the service from Tin and Lee. Tin is great and made sure every little detail is right. This is my second time going to him and my nails have always looked great. Lee did my feet and was so sweet. I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been a customer at Sky Nails for over a decade. They are friendly, professional, and clean. The owners invest heavily in the most modern equipment and business practices. The staff is meticulous in how they do everything. Any time I’ve had a problem (there’s only been a few along the way) they have addressed it professionally and respectfully. I’m a very particular person so when I say they pay attention to the details, I mean they really pay attention and do things well.

TIn is an awesome manicurist the only one that does my nalls!, His acrylic lasts and does not lift like so many other places I have been to. My fills last anywhere from 3-5 weeks!!!!

Second time here, first time was great. I told them I just wanted a regular manicure to take a break from SNS, and had to say this multiple times before they agreed to do a regular manicure. I paid at the beginning. Then, the tech “accidentally” put gel, and told me I have to pay more. It was uncomfortable and the rest of the techs were nice and we ended up “meeting in the middle” and I gave them $5 extra just so I could get out of there because it was awkward. I thought I had found my new spot but I guess not

The guy with the tattoos who did my fill and pedicure was rude af and rough then said chrome is better and was trying to use that because it was easier than the polish I chose then got mad because I kept moving and he had to paint over the nails . I felt like I was almost being handled so rough it was terrible I will never go back to this nail salon. This used to be my favorite will never go back again

I received good service on my first visit only. 2 subsequent visit were barely satisfactory. I am not a local and not familiar with the area. Therefore, I thought I would give it one more try. I was barely greeted and made to feel as if I was bothering the young staff. There are far too many nail salons in Austin to accept this treatment. I went across I-35 to a salon named Great Nails. There I got Great Nails and great service all at a great price. The Sky has fallen!

Small, quiet little nail salon with very fair prices. I experienced attentive service and friendly staff, but you didnt have to talk with the technician if you didnt want to. They offer you soda, water or whatever your choice of drink. They did a great job with my pedicure, I would definitely return!

Great service, however I do notice sometimes depending on who services me the prices change. A $40 dollar set is sometimes $50- $55. Pretty frustrating

I highly recommend this place. Good prices, fast. Lee is SO sweet and is REALLY good at paying attention to detail when it comes to massage, scrubbing the feet, painting and even was so gentle and loving with my ingrown toenail and fixed it like new. Do it!

Terrible acrylic set. Do not go here unless you want your real nails to start to break the same day. I went for a simple fill and they filled off the acrylic and shaved my nails too thin, and added a layer of acrylic. Now my nails are breaking! Pedicure was decent.

I am very hard to please see when it comes to beauty services. Before moving here I only went to one person, EVER. I was going out on a limb trying them out, but I have to say Sky Nails aims to please! Friendly from start to finish, they did such a wonderful and neat job they just may have found a new customer!

So I came here after I had gone to another nail salon and my pinky nail broke in half!!!! I had acrylic nails on so the pain was intense and it was like mid pinky my actual nail broke. So I had come here after I had removed the acrylic nail off and I came in wanting gel. Tin tho was like do the dip ur real nail will grow and it won’t have the acrylic stuff. So ever since I go to him. I recommend if ur new and looking for a nail salon ask for Tin!!!!

I am a new customer to sky nails and spa I just relocated from the southside of Austin to the north side trying to find a good nail salon is really hard especially in the area not every thing I had hoped for I finally found a new amazing nail salon this is it if you need a good nail salon this is the one you should pick they are very detailed very kind they treat you as if they’re your family I actually brought my mother in tonight and me and her were very satisfied I really appreciate going through all the details that you did thank you very much I am pretty picky about my nails but I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated them they were so amazing they actually went beyond what my expectations were and so affordable I was expecting a huge number for my nails I was really just Sinoe waiting for it because they were so good and detailed and it was just like wow there’s no way they’re going to be this affordable I got up to the counter and sure enough not only was the quality amazing they use the best products they stand by their word it’s a guaranteed spot I really appreciate y’all and I just wanted to say thank you so much I have never been one to do reviews but I had to do it for you guys because you guys are amazing this is my new spa Thank you again so much you made us laugh you were just the kindest people I’ve ever met and I really appreciated that I really appreciate you taking the time out so close to closing I know you were tired and wanted to go home but I really appreciated you taking me and her and I will definitely be coming back like I said this is my spot now thank you so much

I wish I could give this place less than a star. The man that did my nails was rude and unprofessional. I came in with a powder dip on my acrylics that I wanted to cover up with another color, he quickly shut down my color pick because he said it wouldn’t cover the powder, while trying to pick a new color he began to rush me (a paying customer) because another customer walked in, “I don’t have all day, I have other customers waiting”. I went to another shop and got the color I originally wanted, T Nails & Spa took the time and effort to cover up the powder dip on my nails, they were professional and helpful!

This is my first and my last visit to Sky. I had a horrible experience while getting my manicure. First the water was super cold when I was given a bowl to soak my hands in. There was no soap or anything to soften my cuticles. The nail tech did not use any cuticle cream or even pushed my cuticles so he can cut them which I though was a part of a manicure routine. Also the whole time I was there he was talking to his coworker next to him non-stop which not only made it super hard to relax but also resulted in him not pay any attention to what he was doing which left me with a terrible manicure. In the process he also injured my cuticle which caused it to bleed. He was also very rough throughtout the whole process.I have been doing my nails since high school so about 15 years now and this was by far the worst experience. Overall I give it zero ⭐️if I could. I will not be returning.

Always get a good manicure and/or pedicure. I take my friends there. Place is clean and well maintained. Only one bad experience out of around thirty visits. Tin and Mimi are the best operators. Avoid Sunny.

Walked in and the manager was very friendly. Got a mani and a pedi but they do not add a coat of of sealer at the end for the pedi. I did not see that their tools were sanitized so for that I gave them a 3 star.

I’ve never had a terrible visit at a nail salon before I would never recommend this salon to anyone !!!! Of course I paid for the service that was rendered at full price did not even allow her to polish my nails because my nails was so horrible!!!!! Austin, Pflugerville and Round Rock don’t go to Sky Nails Austin. Spend your money at a salon that will treat you with respect and dignity.

I have given this place too many chances because of the 2 best employees there: Tin and MiMi are the best. Sunny is horrible, he has a bad attitude, moody and completely disrespectful, he has done my nails twice in the 3 years Ive been going there and both times was a bad experience. The first time I saw Sunny was about 3 years ago and the experience was horrible. never saw him again until just the other day because everyone else was busy. BIG MISTAKE. I thought I would give him one more chance and the benefit of the doubt. I thought ...how bad can this be? oh boy! it was BAD. Sunny is rude and gets upset if you ask something about the service youre getting...so if youre unfortunate enough to see Sunny, please DO NOT ASK ANY QUESTIONS! ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING YOUR NAILS! he is moody and rude. BEWARE. I will go back one last time to have my damaged nail repaired. Been back twice in 3 days to get his work fixed. When MiMi or Tin do my nails I only get them done once every 3 weeks, no damages or chips. Plus Sunny is rough and cut 3 of my cuticles. Sadly after this last time I will no longer be a customer there, I will miss Tin and MiMi the most. Tin has a fantastic attitude always so friendly and nice.

Sunny does good nails however he is extremely moody, rude, and unprofessional. If good customer service is not important to you then visit this establishment. I will never return to this nail salon.

Update: Two of my nails broke Monday evening when i got them done Saturday.I arrived to the nail shop at 9:30am and didnt leave until 1:15 pm and only received a pedi and fullset. They dont do 3d or ombre. The pedicure was good. I got the one that comes with clay. Based off the picture it seems like clay should have been placed on my feet but it only went on my legs. The polish job could be much better. I have clear and yellow polish on my skin. My fullset on the other hand is just ok only because they are still on and not popping off. The nails are crooked even though he attempted to fix them a few times. One if my nails does not even have acrylic the outer edge, maybe it was filled off. They offer drinks but my massage chair didnt work.

Mimi did a great job but I got sticker shock at the front desk, as they had gone up on prices. A short pink and white was 45.00. A little to steep for my budget now, darn it!!!

Ive never ever left a bad review anywhere before but thought I should warn anyone who is looking for good customer service to be careful of who you get to do your nails at this salon. Ive had several good experiences here, especially with the male employee who sits by the desk, but after today, theyve lost my business. Went in for a mani/pedi, decided, very politely, BEFORE they started anything on my manicure that I wanted regular polish instead of shellac and apparently customers arent allowed to do that as I sat in my chair and heard one of the employees get extremely upset and make me and one of my girlfriends extremely uncomfortable for at least 10 minutes while they talked amongst themselves about it, or should I say yell, and pick up a polish they suggested (that I politely declined and asked for one more brown and less purple) and shake it and get very upset about that too. Im a hardworking nurse and its a rare occasion that I get to treat myself to the salon, so I cant help but be extremely upset about the awful customer service I received here today. I believe this employees name was Mimi, Im hopeful the manager will see this review and prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Nails still looking good from 2017 ... got them done before I vacationed in Denver on November 30th 2017 not one broken

Today was my first time visiting here and the customer service wasn’t the best. I got SNS done maybe three hours ago and for some weird reason a uv/gel coat was put on top (I’ve never had this done with SNS) and it’s already peeling. I would go back and have them fix it but I’d rather just pay to have them redone the right way elsewhere.

Ive been going here since 2013, and Donnie is the only one i go to. He is amazing and his pedicures can seriously put you to sleep

Horrible location! Very disappointed in the set I received! Walked out with wayyy too many layers of the same color, some nails were very uneven. I literally had to file my nails down when i arrived at home! If I could rate this without giving a star, I would! Do NOT go here!!

Came here to get a full set the older women was putting on my nails and another women stepped in took them off and replaced them but only on one hand then 1 day later they broke off (the hand that wasn’t replaced) went back and they told me they don’t understand so I explained a little more and they finally helped me after being help my nail tech left to go smoke in the front and took over the new guy had no idea what was going on with my nails I then had to explain it all over again and he didn’t understand and I had to explain 2 more times for him to get it. I told him that my nails are coffin shaped and he told no they are not and wouldn’t cut my nail to the correct shape by this point I just wanted to leave and find another place. Left there NEXT day my nails broke again. I don’t do anything active for them to break ! STAY AWAY !!

The service sucks. After telling the nail tech that the polish wasnt drying, she ignored me the first time. The second time she finally decided to check it out. Then said wait a little longer. Walked over to the manger and told him something about the color. I couldnt understand what they were saying. I imagine she was saying something was wrong with it. Rather than saying choose a different color at that point she said wait. After 40 mins I told her that it was still very wet and it wasnt drying. So she sprayed a quick drying spray. I wait 10 more mines, then she came over and said okay they are done. I said they are not dry. Ive been up for 22 hours. Im ready to go. She looked and said you wait a little longer. Ive been waiting for 50 mins. Im tired Im ready to go. She said, okay you go and if they mess up come back. I said I wont come back Theyve been drying for almost an hour and they are going to mess up. I grabbed my stuff and said no. Im going. Im tired. Im not paying because Ive been telling you they werent drying. I walked out and she grabbed me scratched my arm and slapped me several times stole my shoe. Got the show back, left and they were still wet and come off easily and messed up my shoes 2 hours later.
