Walked in on this lovely Friday afternoon and had the wonderful opportunity to get a “Straight Up” manicure and “Passionfruit” pedicure from Alisse (reads: Elise). She took her time and was very detailed with each job (both hands and feet). I even messed up my nails while waiting to for them to dry and she took her time to repaint them with the same precision. She is a conversationalist which helped the time pass very quickly. She takes her time to ensure you like how your nails look along the way. She’s truly amazing!! When I’m back in town I will definitely book an appointment with her!The other nail salon technicians were all very friendly and also offered advice on how to spend my short weekend here in Austin. This place is run by a very diverse, personable and energetic group of women who are very serious, detailed and intentional about providing flawless customer service. They offered regular and alcoholic beverages with refills through your service (which coming from NYC and living in Philly, is truly unheard of).I highly recommend coming here!

I had gone to Bleu Canvas before and got a mani/pedi for a friends wedding, and loved it. So, I decided to go back for my wedding nails, and once again, they were great. I worked with Jashona. I wasnt quite sure what I wanted. I had a general idea - I knew I wanted red - and then I explained that my dress was all over lace. Jashona suggested doing some lace designs on a few of the nails. Great! The only thing was, she said I shouldve booked more time if I wanted more than just a basic mani, which wouldve been nice to know. So be sure when you set up your appointment that you call to tell them what you want and make sure youve booked enough time - because they wont always call you. But overall, I loved the outcome. They were beautiful, and lasted a really long time. The atmosphere is also fun, and who doesnt love a free drink or vodka-soaked gummy worms while getting pampered! (Side note: I didnt do a pedi this time with them, but when I visited previously I did, and it was great and lasted long, also.)

Diana Rocks my nails all day every day! But dont worry if you cant get in with her everyone is super awesome and great at what they do. The atmosphere is perfect matching the vibe of the sweet lil angels that work there. So stop by, have a drink, relax and pamper thy self!

I love this place! They produce some of the most creative and beautiful nails Ive ever seen (check out their Instagram) I always go to Paige shes super nice and friendly and will make sure your nails are done exactly how you envisioned. The salon is decorated super cute and the staff is super friendly. They have free parking in the back which is also a plus.

Ive been going here for a year now and I have no desire to go anywhere else. The vibe is very comfortable and laid back, I highly recommend Diana. Diana is so sweet and every visit with her is relaxing, positive and carefree. And most importantly her attention to detail is everything! With Diana, I know that my nails are going to look perfect every time. Now that Im starting to get pedicures as well and I recommend Jania & Mari. Both ladies are so nice and are great at pedicures. Im a bit of a perfectionist so trust me you wont be disappointed. Also the location is perfect because there are lots of places to eat at afterwards and shopping as well. Like I said, I cant recommend this place enough! 😊

I got lashes that looked amazing! A girl named Rain did these for me. I tend to be nervous when it comes to changing my looks. She was very professional, informative & she was easy to talk to through the whole process. It was a nice break from my house where my 9 month old likes to see how wild he can get. Also, you’d think there’s no parking but there was plenty behind the building. Great atmosphere and a much needed relaxing experience!

Bliss really took good care of me with a personalized gel manicure. Shes great at making one feel comfortable. She helped me with choosing a base coat and a mermaid-mesmerizing gel color which resulted in an awesome glittering lavender! I cant wait for my next visit. The space is chic and regal. Theres retail parking in the back to utilize. Everyone was super amicable and conversational.

I got my eyelash extensions done by Ailysa a and I loved it! She makes you feel comfortable and is great at reading your vibe. Whether you want to chat or relax. Made my eyelashes look beautiful, she suggested adding pink so she put a few on the ends. I get so many compliments on them. The salon itself if very classy and nice everybody is super friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I went in to get my eyelashes done by Victoria. The place was so nice and clean. They played awesome music. She had just started there and she did an amazing job! My eyelashes came out beautiful. I felt a big boost of confidence after I left. Thank you Victoria! :)

This salon is themed pretty cool making for a great atmosphere. I had Alyssa for my lash extensions and she was great at making you feel comfortable. The work itself was flawless and timely. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new set of lashes! She knows what she’s doing!

Heads up for new clients- I went in with SNS nails hoping to get the same, but they had so little to choose from. So I went with gel. And as she’s removing the old manicure, tells me it’s. $20 soak off charge. I believe this is only for new clients but somewhere that asks new clients for extra money for a service that is usually included is ridiculous to me. My gel manicure in total cost $65. The manicure is good, but not the policies.

Bliss is awesome! She definitely goes for perfection. Her gel coats are really even and smooth. She gave me the cutest nerdy nail art.Her pedicure was super relaxing. I got my lashes done here last week by the beautiful AiLysa! She did such an amazing job! I have gotten so many compliments! The beauty bar is fun and unique and everybody looks like they really enjoy what they do. I highly recommend a stop here!

I am so happy to finally find my nail place. The environment here is very welcoming and laid back. There are soooo many options on the style and art you want. Bliss is so creative with her work! Can’t wait to see what she can do with my next set!

Brought my wife here while we were on vacation. Best nail place we have been to. They gave us shots to drink and was a super cool vibe. Very creative nail artists! And super friendly. We really enjoyed it.

The service was great! But 2 days later my nail popped off, and now I’m trying to take them off at home how you should be able to do with nail polish remover and what else. The lady that did my nails said they just pop off why you try and get them off but clearly it is leaving stuff on my nails and tearing them up and it hurts like no other. I would rather go to a better salon with cheaper prices and more stars then a place like this.

First time there the ambiance blew me away. There is no nail salon like this in Austin. This place is destined to be an Austin gem that you have to try. Plus, the quality of their work is top notch. I just saw some of the artwork they could do and was impressed. My pedicure was awesome and my feet feel free.

Tl;dr - longest and worst manicure (standard - not gel, dip, or acrylic)I want to say that my technician was very nice and I was offered a mimosa during my visit. And those are the only two nice things I can even say. I booked my visit online for a manicure and pedicure 330-5 is what the appointment booked me for. When I arrived the place was completely empty. I thought I arrived at the wrong place. (red flag #1). I left and looked at the address again on my phone, no this was the right place. I walked in at around 3:20 and my technician was there. She asked if I wanted a mimosa and then asked me to settle in. But then she was gone, for a while. She came back and apologized because she was the only person there. As we started on my manicure she said a lot of people dont just get regular manicures. I told her Ive had bad experiences with gel and like to stick with the classic. I could tell she doesnt do classic manicures often. I dont know how she could do any manicure or pedicure as her nails were extremely long and were definitely hindering her from giving me a manicure. Its now 4 and we havent even started painting my nails. Another technician arrives as does her client. She is getting very artistic acrylic nails. I realize now since this other customer is getting acrylics, my technician has acrylics and she said a lot of people dont get regular manicures, this is not a place for what I want - but a place for very nice acrylics. Thats fine. Then they shouldnt have the option on the website. They should stick to something they are good at - because regular manicures were not it. Its not 4:30 and my manicure is finally done. 1 hr for a basic nail polish manicure. I didnt have time for the pedicure - who knows how long that wouldnt have taken - so I just say Im good with just the manicure. And its not a great manicure. But I just want to leave at this point. So I go to pay and ask them to charge the card that I had to leave to hold the appointment. They dont have it, she says. Great, now i have to dig in my bag for my credit card with my wet nails. If I had known, I would have absolutely gotten my card out beforehand. Needless to say, I of course messed up a nail. But it wasnt worth it to me to stay and get it fixed. So $40 later Ive got a bad manicure, a messed up nail, and an hour of my life I wont get back. Now again, if you are looking for a spot to do fancy artistic acrylic nails, this might be the place. But it is not the place for a standard manicure.

I had Diane and she was so sweet and catering. Great music, high quality, did a great job on my simple nails. Kinda pricey for a regular mani, but I felt good leaving so it was justified. This will be my new go to on lunch break for a little pampering.

I cant say enough about how great this place is. Diana and Liz always do a fantastic job. My nails look natural. They have a ton of fun chromes and glitters, as well as more subtle shades. If you want custom art, these are the ladies to reach out to.

Went there for my first time and was so impressed!! Unlike many salons, they are quality over quantity. I had Dianna and she was so awesome. Friendly, and really paid attention to details. And to make it even better, they serve complimentary drinks! Highly recommend.

Simply put, MJ is the best nail tech I have ever had. Having moved from Houston, it was difficult finding someone who could make my manicure look elegant and last...her manicures exceed my every expectation! Not to mention, she is so beautiful and sweet. Very happy to have found MJ at this swanky, fun salon.

So I haven’t had any sort of manicures done since I was in high school. Rachana was so awesome and informative! She knew I was nervous and made it a great experience. I walked in feeling somewhat insecure and came out feeling like a new lady! I’m in love with my nails now. I told her numerous times but I’ll say it again, thank you so much! I’ll see you in a couple of weeks.

Bleu Canvas is by far my favorite salon in Austin. The atmosphere is so fun and the decor is fabulous. MJ is my ride or die nail tech, she always comes up with amazing designs and ideas for me. I get gel nails instead of a full set because I type all day for work, and they last for aaaaages. She makes sure that Im happy and comfortable throughout the whole manicure, serving mimosas and cracking jokes.

ILA was my nail specialist. She was so sweet and chatty. She sculpted my nails without tips so that was pretty cool and overall the vibe and salon was enjoyable. Drinks were endless which definitely gives this place all my favor 😋

I went there for my prom and walking in I just felt unique. My nails were done so beautiful and the customer service is so great. Music was good.

I love this place so much, Its super gorgeous. The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond for the customers. They offer wine and mimosas right when you walk in. I get my lashes done here and only here just because of how exceptionally well they do.

This place is beautiful! And it had a good vibe. everyone seemed friendly. But my appointment was at 3:15 my pedicure didn’t start until 3:45. I brushed it off, I know sometimes some clients take longer then others. As we continued your regular pedicure regime it came time to scrub my feet with a pompous, no pompous it was a NAIL FILE that was used. The same file that was used to file my toes. I thought about walking out half way through my pedi, it was just such a bad one. The salts where added at the very end... And the description of the pedi states “exfoliation & bath salt soak with choice of hydrating cocktail favors (Lemon Tonic Twist or Tropical Citrus Cosmo)” There was no hydrating citrus at any point. Still had to pay the full $45. The esthetician’s name I think was Mariana or Maria?? pedicure ended at 5:30 almost two hours for a pedicure I could have done at home.

Went for my friends wedding nails. The women who did her nails were very friendly and chatty. The lady who did my nails was disinterested and rude. I would go back, but I would request the owner (I cant remember her name). I got gel polish manicure with rhinestones. They lasted 2 weeks (my nails grow quickly) and the rhinestones lasted the whole time!

Also specify from the beginning that to schedule and reserve an appointment for a pedicure, PEDICURE, not a health care appointment, surgical procedure, a PEDICURE, you need a credit card over the phone. Never heard of such nonsense. Would you like my social too? The name of my first unborn child? Crazy people.

I had the most sweetest Nail tech Bliss today and she was very patient with what I wanted done and added some cute details to my nails✅ took extra care of me and made me feel comfortable, kept serving me lovely refreshement btwn doing her work. For Halloween I got glow in dark green nails with Mr. & Mrs Frankenstein and a cute blood heart on each thumb. I appreciate the environment and hospitality 💯

I loved it here. Appointments are best, but its worth the wait. I got glamed out nails with all the bling i could want. They really know what looks good, as well as its a friendly place. They serve drinks as you wait and they treat you really good. The price is not bad for the quality of what your getting. I recommend this place all the time.

If I could rate a NO star I would. This place does a great job with nail art but unfortunately the managing here is very unprofessional and unethical! All he cares is about protecting his employees and doesnt care about the customers! Which any business owner would know is that if u want to grow your business and keep a good reputation you need to keep your customers satisfied or come to an agreement. But obviously he doesnt care. No matter if theres a death or emergency in the family. So for any reason u reserve a spot with them please make sure u cancel 24 hrs before your appointment because whatever your excuse is he will charge you for your service to protect his ladies even though if your not aware of his cancellation policy!

I came in for a great pedicure, but I did not expect the attention to detail I recieved with my Top Shelf Pedicure. It was more than perfect. Great music, great drinks, and a great vibe. Thanks for treating me.

I would NEVER recommend getting your nails done at this salon!! First of all they are extremely unprofessional and disorganized. The conversations they have in front of their customers are inappropriate and crude. But more importantly they are WAY over priced for the quality of work they provide! They charged me $50.00 for a gel manicure which started chipping the same day! I went back a few days later to show them what happened to my nails and they told me they wouldnt be able to get me in to fix them until 3 weeks later!! That is just bad business! Do NOT waste your money at Wet Canvas!! I wish someone would have told me that before I spent over $60 there (after tip).

Took my mom for her birthday, girls there were fabulous! They even gave us birthday shots! Totally worth it!! But definitely go when youve got time to spare, we were there almost 4 hours for a mani/pedi. Had a great time though!

I have been going to Bleu Canvas Nail bar for years. They are amazing. I have never had a bad experience here. My toes always come out exactly as I want them. I am greeted by name every time I walk in wether its been a week or 6 months. This place is also amazingly clean. I am a bit of a germaphobe, but I have always been reassured by their levels of sanitation. This is the only nail place in town I will recomend. Their acrylics are also out of this world amazing. Hands down (pun intended) the best nail salon in Austin.

I was disappointed with the result of the overall look especially the mani shellac nails, service was fine just not the end product. I am somewhat picky but especially so for the cost of today’s appointment. 😢 I could have chosen any salon for the experience I received.

I went in for color change SNS. I was sure I was in for a great experience. The atmosphere and vibe is awesome at this nail bar. I’ve never seen a salon like it. The staff is friendly and personable. However, I was very dissatisfied with my nails. They use a gel coat over SNS, which caused my nails to feel slippery and have ripples. They looked very unnatural. I went back after I noticed my nails did not look like I just paid $80 for them ($50 for SNS, $20 to soak off the dip power, and a $10.50 tip). I told the nail tech I did not like gel polish on my nails after being dipped. It doesn’t look natural and the nail is lumpy. She did it anyway. I learned this is how they do SNS. I just had her take them off. I asked if they could just file them down and put a strengthener on them. She said they didn’t have anything like that but that she could put a top coat on. An hour after leaving with nothing on my nails, two of them broke. I have since filed them down to nothing so they will not continue to break. Needless to say, I will not go back. The fee for the SNS was refunded, but the tip and soak off fee was kept. Never have I been charged to soak off dip powder. Not the place to go for a flawless SNS manicure.

Yes you get a fabulous manicure and pedicure and yes the staff is nice but the atmosphere at Wet Canvas Nail Bar is totally unlike anywhere I have ever been for salon services.The place is decked out from floor to ceiling, the chairs are plush and the decor is amazing!Recommended for spoiling yourself rotten or an awesome girls day out!

I had the privilege of getting my nails done with my bridesmaids and our mamas and what an experience! Diana, Rachana, Shai—Anne, Paige, Jay, Klaryssa, Caitlin and Liz truly love their job and it shows and shines in everything they do. They are all artists and excited to share their art and passion with their clients. They take their tome, and truly care if you’re happy. The atmosphere is gorgeous and an experience in itself. When someone walks in the door, they all are genuinely excited to greet their new guest— it’s hard for me to imagine the people reviewing with one stars are just unhappy about their own lives. This is like no nail salon you’ve ever been to. Treat yo’ self.

I had my nails done back in November and I havent had a chance to write a review. I believe my technicians name was Diana. I had long acrylic nails put on in a beautiful mauve/gray matte in coffin cut. I had a wonderful experience with the staff and service and the interior design was beautiful. My nails lasted FOREVER! I had no problems with them other than the fact I couldnt get them off (I procrastinated in buying acetone). So the integrity of my nails were strong and beautiful. I highly reccommend this place to anyone looking to treat them selves. My only suprise was the steep price, but considering the location, quality of services provided, staff and decor I was very pleased and highly satisfied. I recieved many compliments on my nails!

I tried to get a pedicure but all the sinks would not drain so I only got a polish change. MJ is great for a manicure! Not from Austin and would not recommend. Cant get a mani/pedi at the same time either. Also if you like dip color, they have only 15 colors to choose from.

Ive been to Wet Canvas a few times for a pedicure and Im always pleased with the quality.The blue velvet furnishing, music, and drinks make it feel more like a club than a spa. Usually Im able to schedule an appointment the same day, but Ive noticed they arent always exactly on schedule.

Ive been here three times total, Liz is amazing and has done my nails the first two times, the third time was a few days ago and another girl did my nails, I was running 5 minutes late so I called to let them know, I got there and the girl, I believe her name was clarissa let me know she was late finishing up her current client, I said okay and waited about an hour for her, once she sat me she asked what I wanted, she didnt trim or push back my cuticles, rushed reshaping and refilling them, I can see the difference of my fill and older acrylic.. My pinky nails are almond while the rest are coffin shape, she did a take spider with two black jewles, which have fallen off and I got these a few days ago. My pointer bail has cracked and then fell off, and I do paper work, filing and some minor typing, yet my last set were longer and didnt break. Upon leaving I gave her a nice tip of 20 bucks then realized she forgot my top coat on some of my nails because they were sticky and gunky so another nail tech did it for me, my nails look terrible, I would only recommend this place if you get Liz, otherwise dont go. Because the other girl was basically rushing just so she could go home on time. I called to make an appointment so you should take your time.

Bliss did my nails 3 days ago. Didn’t notice until I got out into the natural light that the polish didn’t reach my cuticles, so here we are 3 days later and this is what the polish looks like.

Horrible service made an appt over the phone for 11:30 get there and there and no appt was made. Manager made no effort to accommodate the inconvenience at all. Just told me I could wait until 3:30 for the next available walk in. When I asked if she could recommend some place else she got an attitude and said No just Google it like I would. I could care less about the quality of your work if your customer service is 💩.

Stopped in one weekend during a work conference and I could not be more happy. Caitlin not only did an awesome mani/pedi but she does the best lashes I have ever had. I could not be more happy with my services.
