Lalo is a nice guy and a legendary barber. Very good $15 haircuts done in 10-20min, but NOT in a hurry -- he is just a true professional with decades of experience. I went in for my first time before the pandemic, then walked in 18 months later and he immediately said Ive cut your hair before! I was amazed that he remembered me. I showed him a picture and he gave me a flawless haircut in 10min. You will never find better service for this price. Please give Lalos a try and support your local community!

Brought my stepson for a haircut. Lalo is protocol conscious, he wears a mask when working. There is rarely a line, which might seem like a negative, but in this case it usually just means he gets you cut and out of the door in a surprise amount of time (those that go to barbers regularly, know you usually should set aside hours of your day to go to one, usually youre waiting a decent amount until the cut and the cut then takes something like an hour or longer)Stepson is 10, he LOVED that it was so fast, i loved the Price. He doesnt do fancy or overly stylish cuts...he does do a solid fade, with a decent edge/line up. Try him out, youll be pleasantly surprised I think.

If I could give Mr. Lalos barber shop more than 5 stars I would!!Mr. Lalo has been a barber for YEARS and you can tell.Im terrible at describing the haircut I want to the person cutting my hair, but if you give Mr. Lalo just a basic idea of what you want, and you wont be disappointed.Also, you will not be disappointed with the price.I will definitely be back.

His rent has doubled in three years so youre not jist getting a great inexpensive cut - youre helping keep a long time business (hes cut hair in South Austin for 30 years) in business.Just do it already.

Came in for a quick clean up before an important meeting. Right after I sat down, the barber told me he wasn’t good at lining anything up (to be clear, I have a fairly normal haircut — not a fade or anything complicated).I should have taken this “barbers” advice. He really did not know how to cut in a line. My hair now looks like a jig saw puzzle.This is the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. Save yourself the trouble and go to a Super Cuts or something.

Neighborhood barber shop. walkins arealways welcome. Has been cutting hairfor about 30 years. He is a sole proprietor who is fast and artistic ifyour wanting a fade style. l see lots a parents bring their children to him also.Ample parking front and side. usuallyopen by 8:00 am Monday thru Saturday.He closes around 6 PM. The thing that l have enjoyed is his basic price for a mans haircut has just went from $8.50to $10.00! Lalo also reminds his customers that they can call ahead to schedule a date or time or just see what the wait time might be!

*drove here from domain* I read about Lalos barber shop on Reddit (yes I know). After hearing nothing but good things on there I decided to try it out. I called ahead just to make sure the address was correct. I got there and he sat me down right away (it was about 9:30am) and the experience was just awesome. One on one conversation no other worker, I loved my haircut and I know I’ll be coming back and getting the same quality haircut because Lalo is the only one there and that’s what makes his locally owned barber shop special! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good haircut at a fair price!
