Current resident here. Have been a faithful tenant for three years. Really had nothing to complain about for a long time. However, it has now become abundantly clear that management has very little concern for their tenants, or issues with their property. We have waited over a month for them to repair the bathroom that they wrecked to fix another problem. Our bathroom has looked like a construction zone for over a month. We have been extremely patient about this. But now, we have learned that they also have no concern about “emergency” service requests either. We enjoy the community here. We’ve had every intention of remaining long-term tenants here. So, it is very disheartening to be treated as badly as we have by management. They. Just. Simply. Do. Not. Care.

Staff people Lazy take them years too repair a simple door & dog hair on the carpet when i moved in mold is a big problem there and water bubbles on the walls when it rains same thing takes em years too repair and people always trying too brake in at night u let the office know they dont do anything about it good thing i moved out roaches alot alot of them right when i moved in the first day the office people are not responsive not professional at all not a good place too live there at all

I did not live in this place, they ask for many requirements, although I make more money than they ask me to qualify, they did not give me the apartment for illogical reasons. Anyway, the person who attended me was very friendly and it looks like a good place to live, close to the shops and main streets of the city.

Mission Reilly has been the best place I have lived in Austin so far. The staff is friendly and shows a sense of urgency to get any issues resolved or requests completed in a timely manner. For the price and available amenties this place is a steal! If I had to critique anything, I would say build a dog park somewhere on the property, even if its just a fenced in area without any obstacles for the pups to run around and dog parents to mingle.

As with all things, the experience is as good as you make it. I have been in this place under a year. Since then I had one management change, the new ladies in the office are through and fast. Whenever I need something fixed they do it right away. Shania, Tammy and Irene are VERY polite and always make me feel like I am home. THE FIRST APARTMENT complex here in Austin that has. Though its very busy sometimes, they are very good at their jobs. All the maintenance men are professional and try their best to get the job done the first time. If I had any complaints, it would be NO MORE VALET TRASH (we can take the trash out ourselves), make it an option not a mandate. In most cases, valet is not a mandatory thing. Also, THE GATE, that you advertise as an amenity, is helping the complex lose its grandeur each day it is down. The gate working helps me feel safe, and makes us look good, please lets get that fixed ASAP. Improvements on the property have been great! Keep up the good work.

Ok. Is this a 5 star apartment complex? No...But if were talking comparing to other budget friendly options...its a clear winner.Yes there may be a few bugs now and then. That said...the management team has always been amazing about getting an exterminator out to my place as soon as I requested it.I also had AC issues...but again management was pretty quick to fix and in the interim left me with a temporary unit.Ultimately this was a great place to live. My apartment was a bit too close to the road for my liking which is the reason for my move, but outside of that I enjoyed living here.If you come correct, the management team is great and willing to work with you on issues. TO prove this point, there was a miscommunication on my move out date and the notice needed. Instead of doing what they likely could have and telling me tough luck, the worked with me to reduce the amount of notice required and helped me to get to the new place Ill be living just down the road.If youre looking for a place with incredible amenities, spotless grounds and pretty looking people everywhere...this isnt for you.If youre looking for a place where you can save some money, have a decent place to live and be cared for by management....Mission Reilly Ridge is a pretty solid choice.

I have lived at this apartment complex for over 3 years and have actually lived in 3 different units at this complex simply due to lifestyle changes.Im not sure how they have 2.9 stars, because this place has been consistently a great place to live at since my move to Austin 3 years ago.The apartments can be described as high quality budget apartments, no granite, clean, carpeted, and the tenants are compromised of working families. (No loud college parties.)One thing that has kept me around is they are completely bug free, In the entire 3 years Ive been here I can think of maybe 3 times Ive seen a roach, and they are always prompt to get pest management out when called upon.It seems like I do have an A/c issue about once a year, but when I do, they are generally out to fix it within 45 minutes! Especially if its summertime.While I would prefer more staff available to answer phones, they do try to ensure your place is comfortable and to your liking.These apartments are 10 minutes from eastside downtown, and you do not have to wait at a single stop light to get to downtown due to how they hug I-35.My current apt is 630 sq ft and only $815/ month. With a balcony, washer dryer hookups, dining area, solid/ level structure, security gate and 10 mins from downtown that price is really hard to find.This last move the maintenance guys came in and fixed everything I asked for, even little extras that was hard for me to do as a single lady. Even made several upgrades! Really above and beyond to ensure I am comfortable.One last thing that I would change, is that there would be more parking. Since this complex is so urban theres nothing they can really do about that now, but they will tow guests in a heartbeat. That said, all you have to do is make sure they park in visitors spots or get a parking pass from the office to avoid that.In the past 3 years, Ive only seen improvements at this location and recommend this place to everyone looking at apartments.

I think that they need a new pest control company.Issues with pest in this apartment.Ive been here 10 years. The matinence problems have been addressed with new management. Since the pandemic its been kinda hard to communicate with the management. This side of building 5 has a roach problem, the other side wasnt bad but this side is. Ive did 3 clean outs last year but the problem still exist.

Love it here everyone is very helpful and kind.The Apartment is Very Spacious an Affordable Highly recommend..👍👍👍Love living here great place to call home💕 close to all near by shopping centers. Love all the amenities that are provided for you here like the gym the hub lockers for your packages an the dog park. I highly recommend this place for your next home.

Been here for many years. it had been the worst place I ever lived at. But since irene took over with her staff, cleaning the place up and making new things happen, its now one of the best places Ive been at. I would not be here if it wasnt for irene. she deserves the top award you have for property management. so get on that award please.

Never, EVER in my 15 years of being a tenant of various apartment complexes in Austin have I had a single positive comment regarding an apartment complex. I am both relieved and beyond happy to say that Mission Reilly Ridge is the first to meet my extremely high expectations. The staff is absolutely top notch. You will not find a more dedicated, swift, and knowledgeable maintenance team in Austin. The office staff is always very receptive to communication by any means (emails, phone calls, visits, etc). I literally have not found a single thing that I did not approve of that was not fixed within 24 hours. The property manager even halted a mandatory staff meeting in order to address an emergency maintenance issue that I encountered. The grounds are always clean and well-maintained. The access control gates are a very nice feature that even helped me to get lower renters insurance rates. I have yet to see the police, fire, or EMS on the premises for anything other than annual fire hydrant/alarm panel inspections. Trust me, I have never previously given out 5 stars for ANYTHING...and I have never rated an Austin apartment complex higher than 3 stars. I absolutely LOVE living at Mission Reilly Ridge. I hope that this review can help other renters who are tired of the sub-par complexes that, unfortunately, are so prevalent in Austin. Come check out this hidden gem at Mission Reilly Ridge; it will not disappoint, and I am willing to put my name on that statement!

I have lived here 1+ years. The new management is fabulous! Those ladies care a ton! I like my neighbors and love my apartment! The rates are the most reasonable in Austin (Ive checked!) The apartments are a bit dated but they are doing a lot to update. Overall, Id recommend this place to friends and family.

Looks like a nice place to live. Please do not be deceived. Don’t move in here. I moved here 3 weeks ago and I can’t actually move in because it is roach infested. They at least have made attempts to rectify it, but the attempts are unsuccessful. This has been an expensive, stressful, terrible mistake. Disgusted!

Did a great job fixing the problem

I lived here for 13 months when I first moved to Austin and at that moment it was the best option for me and Im giving 3 stars for convenient location and affordability (Last year rent was $100+ lower than now). The gym has the equipment you need and pool has a nice layout.With that said.. There are roaches everywhere (no matter how clean you keep your apartment). Paint on Tub, toilet, bathroom and kitchen sinks started pilling off after the first 2 months. Appliances are SUPER OLD so be prepare for high water and electricity bills (about $75+ each in the smallest unit (560 sq ft) with no washer and dryer, low use of the A/C or heater and NO ONCE used the dish washer). The gate is NEVER properly working. Homeless people walking around the parking and pool area.

Have never had roaches before until i moved into this place. Pay monthly for pest control which has “came” twice and nothing has changed! This is gross and they don’t seem to care or bother taking care of the problem!! I was reading some reviews and saw that I’m not the only one dealing with this situation. I keep my apartment very clean and make sure that i do all i Can do avoid it, but it’s far more than what i Can do. This place needs renovation!!

I am very down the first apartment in which my husband and I lived, everything went well so we decided to move in this same apartment complex but 2 rooms but everything was a disaster the apartment was not ready yet for the day we had to move we were given the keys and there was rubbish everywhere the refrigerator in the living room the bathrooms in bad condition and many other things and now they are charging us $ 200 per collection for our old apartment, as they are going to charge for the other apartment that we left clean and they cant even deliver the new one in good condition. Is no good

This is not so much a review of the unit as a thank you to the manager Irene who has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions. First of all when my roommates and I originally met with the office we were quoted a fair price and then called back shortly after and the price had gone up significantly. Irene worked with us to get the original quote which was AMAZING because we would not have been able to afford the unit anymore. We then had to change the move in date very last minute due to a misunderstanding and somehow she worked it out for us to get into the unit at the right time and had the cleaning crew and carpet people come in very last minute. I was not able to get off work etc and it was a huge blessing for her to make all of that work. Great job and really helped the 5 of us our more than she knows!!

I regretted not reading the reviews before we moved in. Hard lesson learned. I’ve never had roaches issues in 37 years of my life ever! My apartment wasn’t all move in ready and many stuff were broken and missing like walk in shelf, broken sliding balcony door, missing balcony sliding handle,...for the laundry I didn’t see one washer available they were all pulled out and we had to buy our own washer. I would recommend the maintenance to have a better sense of urgency.

I am going to be fair, the management overall is okay, so long as the issues are simple. When building 8 had a fire caused by one of the tenants they were quick to jump in and fix the units surrounding it. The only thing they could not fix was the smell of burnt plastic and rubber. It literally ruined my couch, bed and everything. Even then I was trying to make it work.. the renters in the burned apartment left after that so I was unable to get their insurance information to get my stuff replaced. After speaking with management trying to get anything from them.. even a number to call them. They refused therefore leaving me with $15,000 worth of furniture ruined. You cannot get that smell out of leather or a memory foam mattress no matter how much you try.On top of all that after pointing out to many people including maintenance and office staff that the fire alarm system was no longer in working condition since the fire it was still not fixed after 4 weeks.I can back up all my claims with pictures, recordings of both in person talks with staff and now even phone calls that were recorded. And get this even after I broke the lease on June 1st by just moving out I contacted them not even a week later after I moved into my new place and replaced all the furniture to tell them I will pay for the lease as per state law and the lease agreement, and guess what? They have an attitude about that. How many people break a lease and offer to pay it? Almost none.They refuse to release a washer and dryer I leased while there claiming the lease holder needs to give them permission to let them in.. I am no longer the lease holder.If you managed to read all this then you can make your own judgement. Like I said for the most part their fair so long as it is something simple, anything more than that and it becomes a headache for them and they just act like little kids.Management seriously needs to learn how to behave like adults. The office staff are nice and make it bearable. And honestly for the price and location it is not a bad place over all.**** EDIT*** The Response from the Owner is just a blanket response to pretend they care. but they dont.

Dont even apply here! all the reviews on this place is totally valid. I applied here a few weeks ago and I was told I could move in on the second of April. after signing my contract and giving them my deposit I was called and told the apartment wasnt going to be ready. and that I need to find somewhere until the 5th. Since I had just discussed that I dont have anywhere else to stay. I had to end my contract and they kept my deposit. no apologies and no remorse. take your money and go somewhere else. plus they have too many fees with these apartments. not only to they make you pay for trash valet that I dont need. (25.00 a month.) but also pest control every month too. ( which I dont mind.) But they need to work on communication and making sure that the customer is notified properly. These apartments isnt cheap so why help me lose money? be warned. And I called corporate... Voicemail even when they are opened.

Absolutely terrible management. It took them 3 weeks to schedule and treat our apartment which had become infested with bed bugs after an adjoining apartment had been infested about 6 weeks earlier. They didnt allow us to move during or after the whole ordeal and we lost all of our upholstery, pillows, bed, furniture, and most of our clothes. Even after treatment we started seeing them come back after 3 weeks. Would not recommend.

The 1 rating is because they are still allowing the jack..., who lives above me to continue to harass me. He rigged the overflow value on the hot water heater in May so that it flooded the utility room, bathroom and a portion of the carpet in the master bedroom, and damaged my bookcase. A company rep came with blowers and humidifiers, that ran constantly for 3 days. In the middle of the night one of the jackasses makes these ridiculous sounds with some contraption he made or purchased. He deliberately burns stuff on the stove, which for some reason the odor flows to this apartment. One of the two living there stomps like a wild ass idiot when he walks. I have been here since February. The City of Austin did not want to turn on the electricity due to the number of people in and out in a short period of time prior to my moving here. The utility room is filled with mold, which poses a health issue. Even now there is a sound like that of a toilet flushing thats been going on for more than 6 hours. I dont plan on moving until this damn lease is up. I see now that I will have to make a legal issue out of this and name the owners of this facility also. I moved here for health reasons. The Bible says to live peacefully with all men if possible. I have had enough of this b.s.. This means war.In fairness the management staff has been helpful. Slow at handling request, but helpful.

Been living here seens April, and my water bill is 99, and they always tell me they are going to fix that, and they never do. Its only 2 people living here, water is to high.My rent is 795, plus 25 of trash fee, and 99 of water??? Like really? My mom lives in a 4 bedroom house and pay that, I live in a one bedroom and pay the same thing.This is TRASH.

These apartments are the nastiest. They allow men drinking at all hours of the night leaving beer bottles and broken glass all over the grounds. NOT KID FRIENDLY. Theres always cops in the complex. Trash is not properly dispened AND they charge you $20 for valet trash yet they dont come and pick up the trash when they say they will. Parking is the absolute worst, so good luck if you have guest or multiple cars. Went to use the pool with my 6yr old and people were engaging in explict activites.. Need i say more. Theyre cheap for a reason. DO NOT DO IT. They girls in the office are rude and unwilling to help. Go next door to Saratoga, the units are MUCH nicer and kept up with. And did i mention the roach problem?? Good luck, enter at your own risk.

After the first mail box break in, residents were informed they needed to become grounds security for the complex because management was unable to.After the second mail box break in, nobody was informed there was an issue. Only after going to my mail box and checking the mail was I made aware that the entire row of mail boxes had been broken into. Will management cover life time identity theft protection?Managements solution to this is to sort the mail by hand while they patch together a fix.

I moved here a month ago and moved out within weeks! Dont be fooled thinking there are no roaches because there definitely is. The refrigerator was moved to put in my washer and dryer and bugs of All sizes flooded out the wall. Kitchen cabinet had roaches jump out at you when you open it. Side of fridge fested with dead roaches that they didnt even clean up after fridge was moved. Bugs.constantly crawling at night. Noisy neighbors with kids over your apt playing and bumping the walls all night. Police knocking on neighbors door at 3:00 in the morning. Fire siren beeps in the hall outside day and night and they dont bother to fix it. Not to mention bus stop outside running all day and half the night. Police over there constantly. To top it o# fake advertising!!!! They Suck! Never been so devastated moving into such a filthy atmosphere. Dont do it!!!!!

This apartment complex went through so many management changes and still had no success. The staff never answered the phone or would put your requests on the back burner until you walked in and even then they would deny that you had spoken to them. Constantly the gates were broken and there were a number of break ins. I had a run in with a neighbor who tried to kick in my door and they refused to make them move from the apartment even though i clearly said I didnt feel that I was safe. There was tons of times where I would ask for a request and it was not done until again I took off and went to the office. Also, the lighting was always out so on the sides of the buildings it would be dark. Never bags for the dogs poop that you were supposed to pick up. Even til this day they are trying to charge me for damages that they cant prove and I never received a letter after I moved out even though I did change my address. It was just a ridiculous time there.

My boyfriend moved in a year ago and hes had no problems and not even with management the only things wrong is the front gate doesnt work and its been almost 2 years now and there have been more car break ins. Hopefully the gate can get fixed soon and property can be cleaned up a little more often.

The people are friendly and the lawn is well taken care of.

HORRIBLE customer service (have to call multiple times before they pick up), and terrible maintenance:My deadbolt has been broken (A HUGE security thing for me) for four weeks and after talking to the front desk MULTIPLE TIMES with them promising to send someone out immediately and its still broken.

Very disappointing and frustrating that I had to pay the $25 for trash valet services for my first month of living here when my trash was NEVER picked up when placed out at the appropriate times. When I was unable to bring the trash can in on time in one of the nights (while it was still full) I came home to someone taking a picture of my trash can and then a few days later received an observation report stating that i could potentially get fined for leaving my trash out WHEN LITERALLY NO ONE WAS PICKING IT UP AND YET I HAD TO STILL PAY. I can take my own trash out but if im going to be charged for the service I expect it to be done. Management did absolutely nothing to help.

I enjoyed visiting this place often, I never owned a lease her but I often stayed with my GF at this place. No problems living here from my experience, the only thing that the apartments could not alway for see would just be the neighbors, No really bad or noisey, they may smoke some wack stuff though

These words were for the old management, they were terrible. The new management has made changes, the building have gotten a new coat of paint. The lines in the parking lot have been refreshed. The only complaint I really have now is that the spots on my side of the complex are much smaller than they were before. I drive a smaller sized truck and have trouble parking in these spots. If I do not park just right or if someone parks far to close to me I can not enter my vehicle. Also very dated appliances could use a well needed update. Another thing that has bothered me is the restriction on the number of vehicles you are allowed to have parking permits. My understanding is there is one permit per resident. So the second vehicle I have purchased will not be permitted to park anywhere other than guest parking. I will update my review as things come along. Please do not consider this apartment if you are. If I could rate this apartment complex a 0 thats definitely what Id give it. Ive never had roaches until I moved here. We pay monthly for pest control when theyre not exactly controlling anything. The girl in the front always has a bad attitude and is never really doing her job. because shes always so focused on flirting with one of the maintenance men. She misplaced my notice to move, my first month she lost the keys to my apartment which resulted in me having to get my locks changed because they werent doing their part. When you call for emergency issues such as your AC freezing over then melting and dripping everywhere or your toilet flooding they dont exactly move quickly. They kind of really have horrible customer service and for some reason everything always breaks within the apartment.

Terrible management. Nothing has been updated in the apartments of current residents. The management just keeps getting worse. Work orders take forever to get filled. I waited 7 months for my ceiling to be repaired after putting in multiple requests. Horrible complex.

This place is great if you are on a budget and desperate for a place, which was my situation when I moved in. If you have standards or any respect for yourself whatsoever, avoid this complex at all costs. Some of the neighbors are loud and douchey, but some do look out for each other, which is a nice consolation considering a lot of crap happens here. Had my car vandalized a few months back with dog droppings, as thats a common theme in some of the other reviews. The water bills are also astronomical for some reason, and the trash valet seems a little useless (you HAVE to pay the monthly fee for it) given the state of the rest of the place. The low rent is also pretty deceptive because of this. The gates are pretty useless too, seeing as how people who dont live in the complex just tailgate in as needed. Ive had worse apartments, but I have certainly had better. Cant wait to see what financial surprises they have in store for me. So through with this place.

Apartment smells of cigarette smoke, despite my pleas and a several visits to the office nothing has happened. Ive made several requests for repairs that still havent been taking care of despite the new corporate management. My vehicle has been broken into as well as my neighbors apartment.Update: While moving out I found several purses and a travel bag covered in mold along with a few pairs of shoes.

Very good apartments for a couple with a pool to take a dip every day and cook roast meat or other stew since it has a grill to make it a very good and comfortable place.

The worst apartments in South Austin are these, I lived here for a year it was at the beginning of my stay here if I had known I would have never lived there, roaches are everywhere They have lousy service in management they take a long time to fix them problems that occur. Please there are many better options in South Austin than these apartments dont give your money away
