George, our Service Tech was incredible. He was everything you hope for when you invite a Tech into your home - Friendly, Courteous, Knowledgeable and most importantly - Fixe my Washer within 30 mins. Fantastic!!!
The man who answered our call could not have done a better job, or been more nice. We couldnt be more pleased.
6/4/2020, updated to reflect my most recent service call on another Riding Lawnmower I own, a 2017 Craftsman 42 Model (917.255810). Had it serviced due to a shot cam shaft, fortunately the mower was still under a protection agreement so did not cost me a cent. Anyhow, the service and workmanship via the tech and the company he represents was nothing short of excellent. Kudos again! Terry Jensen, Red Rock TexasOn 10/10/19, had a 2015 Craftsman 42 Riding Lawn Mower serviced related to left and right wheel tie rod replacement. Scheduling of the appointment was easy and fast. I was kept up to date via text/email regarding my scheduled appointment and arrival of the repair tech. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call from the service tech and was given a 2 hour window as to when he would arrive. On arrival, the repair tech was friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable and the work was completed in a timely manner. Kudos to Sears Repair Services/A&E Factory Service! Terry Jensen, Red Rock TX
My ice maker quit making ice. I ordered new filters and got them installed. Still no ice. Called to make appt to have sears person come take a look/repair. I was given an appointment for several weeks down the road with a time slot between 8am &12pm. Sears sent 2 or 3 reminders beforehand reminding me of time slot, date, etc. On the appt day 12 pm came and went with no repair person. At approx. 1:30pm the repairman called to say he was on the way. The repairman was nice and seemed professional enough so my complaint is not with him. He said we needed a new ice maker which he installed and we paid for. $525 seems a lot to pay for an ice maker but even more relevant is why would a refrigerator that is less than 4 years old need a part replaced?? What happened to quality? Isn’t that what sears is supposed to be about??If I had known that I was not getting a product that would last a decent length of time, I would have bought my refrigerator from a discount store. By the way, I had already spent over $100 on the filters.
I had a technician out to fix my washer. He replaced parts and said that even though it was still shaking it was going to be fine in 2 loads. Waited and nothing improved, in fact it was worse now than before. Called and got another appt scheduled for 2 weeks out. The technician said he was on his way at 7:30 am. 9am rolls around and still he isn’t here, so chat with Sears and figure out he just rescheduled my appt without telling me and they won’t be showing up today. Do not have Scott as your technician.
Our service man Aaron was very professional. He knew what he was doing and Aaron did a great job as far as we can see at this time. He told us to wait for 24-48 hours before we use the refrigerator to make sure it was working properly. Today monday 13 april 2020 is the first time we begin to put our food in its proper place. the refrigerator seems to be working and we are very pleased. Thank you Aaron for a job well done.
I was without a washer for over a month. I have had so many issues with both technical support and customer support. They kept saying management would call me back and of course they never did. They didnt order all the parts that were needed. They kept stalling. Said they scheduled me an appointment then no one showed up. An appointment was never scheduled. They didnt fix the initial issue I called them out for. I am waiting again for them to come out and fix. Then they told me that management doesnt talk to customers. They said they would send me a $50 since I was having to go to a laundromat - never received that either. Was told someone would call me back in 24 hours. Still waiting. I was told that more than once. Horrible service. Constantly giving me the run around. I used to think Sears was a good company but I no longer feel that way.
Absolutely awful! We waited almost a month to get our refrigerator fixed. The service tech wouldn’t return phone calls. We wouldn’t recommend at all
Everyday do not open
Called to fix the play/pause button on dryer. Repair man was in my home less than 5 minutes and told me they no longer make the parts needed to fix the dryer. I was charged $160, the “diagnostics and repair fee”.
When I called Sears for an appointment for Spring Tune Up, they scheduled me for the following day. This was a first for me as I have been a Sears Customer for 20+ years. Sears gave me an 8-5 window, but when the technician called on scheduled day, he gave me a window from 10-12 and was on time. He was very professionl, courteos and techincal. He left me very pleased.
While I was initially disappointed when my service call was cancelled at the last minute (due to a system crash), the technician called me back several hours later when the system was back online to see if wed still be available (on a Friday evening) for the appointment. Within a short time the technician had my washer up and running! We understand things happen; and when they do, its all about the recovery. This was an AWESOME recovery! THANK YOU, Pablo!
The service tech was fine. He made sure all the cycles were working correctly but could not look at the problem because he wasnt able to order parts. That would have to be a repairman. The assistance to set up an appointment was lousy. I called to get maintenance on my dishwasher and wanted him to look at my rinse dispenser as the level indicator sometimes stays at one place instead of moving down after use. They told me it would take two different appointments--one for maintenance and one for repair. Ive had a maintenance agreement for many years and in the past the same person did everything. The last few times they have tried to get me to fix an appliance over the phone which I didnt appreciate or understand. If i purchase an agreement I expect someone to come out. Ill not purchase anymore maintenance agreements from Sears. I know they now use outside contractors. Maybe thats the difference.
The service tech was fantastic, but living without a refrigerator for over 2 months --two weeks for service tech to arrive, and 6 weeks for them to send over the repair tech. Is it any wonder Sears is losing customers. I know that Ive always bought appliances from Sears, but this is the second time the service after the sale has been almost non existent. Im sad to report that the next appliance purchase I make wont be from Sears.
I wish I knew the guys name who fixed our stove. He was older, very experienced, and so professional. He quickly isolated the leak, repaired it, then heated up the oven to see if it was working properly. He gave us some good information about the life of our appliance, helped make it level so baked items wouldnt be crooked, and didnt waste any time while at the same time being thorough as can be. It was one of the best service calls Ive ever had. Thank you!
The technicians they sent to repair our oven were fantastic, The effort it took to schedule them were overboard.
Rep was very pleasant and explained everything that he did in laymans terms.
Very nice service representative. He was punctual and took care of business. As always well pleased with Sears service.
So sad, I will never call Sears for repair again. Ive used Sears for appliance repair for 20 years but their service is terrible now. It took a week just for someone to come out to look at my dryer. Then another week for a part to arrive. Then another week for the tech to come back out. He said the dryer was fixed, but an hour later when we tried it, it still was not getting hot. I called and told them, a lady told me the tech would come back that day. He didnt. I called and was told that there was no one available, that I have to schedule another repair appointment. The earliest appointment was 10 days later!!! No. I already waited 3 weeks and paid over half the cost of a new dryer!!! I am reversing the charges I paid. They did not even offer a refund. I live out in the country and it is 15 minute drive to the nearest laundromat. Ive already paid $45 to do laundry!! So now I am going to buy another dryer. But not from Sears.
On October 4, 2016~ Sears sent Nicholas to do our cleaning and repair . He arrived on time and went right to work. He was curious and saw to all myrequest with excellence. *If you are wondering if Sears still knows how togive quality service with their warranty, yes. I will be requesting this techagain. He is amazing at his job. It feels good to have all 6 of my W/Dworking well again. And have the piece of mind that if a problem does arise.Sears has Nicholas on the job. Thanks, CH
Joel came by to do yearly maintenance on my washer and dryer. I have had both for about 12 years and continue to purchase Master Protection Agreements through Sears. Therefore, should replacement be warranted, I am protected! He said that he has less issues with clients who have basic washers and dryers, instead of the newer, technologically-savvy ones. Simplicity is best!
I was unable to get the correct part for my lawn tractor from the Sears Parts service, so finally made an appointment with your repair service. I have lost the name of the technician, but he was good. He had the part in his truck, as I had hoped, obviously knew what he was doing, and had the job done in half an hour or so. I was pleased with the experience. Tom Fields
Technician texted 20 minutes in advance of arrival which was very nice. Technician ran diagnostics on washer and dryer and all OK. Technician cleaned lint collection from dryer and residue from washer. Technician recommended alternative cleaning method on washer which was much appreciated. Technician was very good with my dogs who took quite an interest in him. Technician was A#1, fast, competent, and courteous.
Great experience! Johnny Ruiz is very skilled at what he does! Have used him as our tech in the past and would not trade him for anyone else. Very friendly, courteous, and professional! He is obviously a huge asset to Sears.
Everything went smoothly. When the parts arrived, I was able to schedule another appointment for repairmen to return to my home with ease. The repairs were done without making a mess.
The technician was early in the window of my appointment which is always nice. Although it turned out that my washing machine only needed balancing, the technician gave tons of helpful info about how/how often to clean the machine and tips to make it run most efficiently and quietly. I went from getting washing machine that I thought needed replacement, to just needed balancing and some user instructions!
When it was finally made (on Tuesday), the warranty repair of my freezer door went fine. No complaints. I cant say the same for the appointment I was given for the previous Saturday between 8 and 12, only to learn when I inquired after waiting in vain all morning that somehow the appointment did not appear in the Sears system so no one showed up. Good service by the repair contractor; poor customer service by Sears.
Steve did a great job of diagnosing the problem right away. Checked for OEM replacement part but not available locally. Offered an alternative that was a better solution than the original design which would have set up a repeat future potential failure. He had the parts with him and had our washing machine back in action very quickly. A little pricey but well satisfied overall.
Repair technician replaced ice maker water pump on Nov. 6th and he said water was frozen in the water line to ice maker. After technician left only ONE tray of ice cubes were made and it stopped working again. We called for repair service again on Nov. 7th to have repair as ice maker is stil NOT working. Water in refrigerator door works fine. We have done everything that customer service asked us to do and freezer temperature has always been 5 degrees Fahrenheit and refrigerator at 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Now we are waiting for repair service to come again and we are buying ice!
Sears repair man arrived on time (within the designated window). Notified me of possible repair options, and fixed my appliance within a reasonable amount of time. Would definitely recommend their services. Only downside was both the repair man and the customer service rep pushed their warranties, but this is understandable as its how the make their money.
Re: Kenmore Elite refrigeratorI have been without a working refrigerator since early November despite multiple service visits from Sears Appliance Repair. The refrigerator repair this week led us to believe the unit would be up and running. When it became apparent that this repair didnt fix the problem we called to reschedule only to discover the next first available appointment would be December 18th. What is the use of having an extended service warranty if we can never get a repair person out to make the repair!?
My LG washer purchased in 2013 wth extended warranty was broken from January 4 until February 9. Three technicians, five visits and parts ordered three times it was repaired. Some parts ordered twice. This was a horrible experience. The last technician seemed the best, perhaps they save the best for last.
Nikolas and Bobby were outstanding in diagnosing and fixing our Whirlpool washer, the spin cycle of which was inoperative. They arrived punctually, explained the nature of the problem thoroughly, and obtained and installed the new part that was needed. In short, a perfect experience. Kudos to both of them, and to Sears.
While the appointment was scheduled between 1 and 5 pm and I did not receive notice that the technician would arrive around 6:30 pm AFTER 5 pm, Nikolas did a fabulous job of fixing my washing machine. He was pleasant, professional, and fast. He took the time to show me what the problem was and explain all my options. Will definitely ask for him the next time the washer needs repair.
These 5 stars is only for their TV technician. He is super fast and always finds the issue right away. They only have one technician in Austin that fixes tvs. I havent had the same experience with their lazy ass house appliance technicians.
I have an oven-microwave in wall appliance. Light bulb in microwave is inaccessible by consumer as unit must be removed from wall and electrical connections removed. Sears refused to honor service agreement, explaining that bulbs are not covered. They replaced bulb before under the agreement in 2015. Now I am told I paid them $140 to replace bulb which is incorrect. Why would I continue a $450 service agreement in 2015 if I had to pay for that particular bulb? I wouldnt. I will go to small claims court. One star and no recommendation from me.
The first visit to repair my dryer was on February 1. The tech was friendly and worked diligently to address the problem but couldnt, so said Sears would replace the heating element. Rescheduled for February 18; supposedly the soonest service available. Sears cancelled that appointment without giving a reason (after I had arranged to be off from work); I was able to reschedule for February 22nd. The second tech was also very professional and began with the initial inspection all over again, and I explained that had already been done; the heating element was to be replaced. Unbeknownst to me, Sears apparently expected ME to procure the part? Or they had ordered it and had it delivered, so had I gotten it? Excuse me, but in prior decades when a service call came to my home, they had everything with them that was necessary to complete the service! It wasnt the technicians fault; apparently management practices of the service department have taken a huge hit with the closing of Sears stores.Somehow or another, the tech managed to fix the dryer. He didnt explain how, but it works. I dont know whether the heating element was replaced or not, and while I applaud the efforts of the technicians and the customer service professionals I interacted with, overall service of SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR was poor.I give the technicians and customer service FIVE stars. And SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR only ONE.
Had a great experience with my lawn tractor repair. The repairman was very nice and also very thorough. Hes been servicing my grandfathers mower for years and years. Extremely satisfied and grateful for such good service!
The service technician was excellent, very courteous and friendly. He did a great job and gave me helpful recommendations on how to take care of the washer and dryer.
The service onsite was great, Pete was our serviceman and he diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes, tested his theory, and unfortunately had a 1.5 hour session to simply confirm without a doubt. He ordered the part as quickly as he could, and came back two weeks later for an install that took exactly what he said it would - 3 hours. The part of this service that was horrible was the timetable that Sears kept us on. It took 4 days once we called to get someone out. The part two 2 weeks to arrive. This meant that for 3 weeks we were without a working fridge in our kitchen. The ONLY reason we stuck with them is that we were still under warranty, other appliance repair companies could have been here in a day, fixed it in 2.I was told the part needed to come from Korea - this was the main compressor of a Kenmore Elite Fridge that is 4 years old. However, when the part arrived it had been inspected in Mexico 1 full week BEFORE our fridge broke...Will not purchase Sears Appliances again, after a lifetime of sears products. The product is great, but this service experience was absolutely horrible.
Our church bought this Craftsman 54 riding mower and every two years we renew the maintenance agreement. The previous repairman named Johnny would always give us great service. The present repairman said that we wouldnt have an annual maintenance check up. We bought the blades and oil change for it and the repairman said the oil change wasnt his job to do, but he did it and it was almost a quart low when I checked it. Also, the left front tire wasnt replaced as it has a slow leak in it. He also told us that we arent having the annual maintenance agreement anymore and said it will now be called a repair agreement. WE ARE NOT GOING TO RENEW IT WHEN IT COMES DUE IN ABOUT A YEAR BECAUSE IT IS TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE LACK OF GOOD SERVICE!
It turned out to be a minor problem and the repair man did not try to up charge me or find something worse. He showed up on time with a 30 minute warning call. Well done!
Quick service. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days of trying to set it up. The gentlemen that came to look at my fridge showed me how all the parts came apart, ordered the broken component for me, and showed me how to replace the part once it came in the mail. I had no issue with installing the new part. This saved me and additional appointment fee, so two thumbs up from me.
We thought we were calling the Sears Home Warranty Service dept. when we scheduled our appointment. The same repair man who worked on our freg. two months before showed up. He found the problem then informed us the repair would cost $347.00. I said isnt this covered by our warranty contract. He said yes, but we had scheduled the repair through Sears Home Service not Sears Home Warranty and therefore we have to pay. While he was here, I called Sears Home Warranty Service and she told me the same thing. We paid for a service that should have been covered just because the person we orig. called did not tell us we were scheduling through the wrong department. When My husband called he asked for Sears Home Warranty and the person who scheduled the appointment never told us we had the wrong Sears service Department. Were still not sure about the correct phone #. This was not the service mans fault, he did an excellent job.
The repair man was extremely polite, friendly and respectful. He gave us information that would be helpful in the future for maintaining our washer and dryer. I was very impressed.
The Sears scheduling operation is the worse. I scheduled a repair with an operator. I recieved the confirmation email and then an email and an automated phone message the day before. My window was from 1p-5p. I called Sears back at about 430p asking for a status. The operator told me that the technician was never scheduled for this day. I told her i have the emails and the voice msg to show that my appointment was for today. She told me all she could do was schedule me for another day as there was no other option. The following week i went thru the same process but i called at 8a to ensure my repair was scheduled. Two technicians showed up and they too confirmed that the Sears scheduling software is in total disarray and it was a common complaint when they arrive to do the repairs and their customers are mad at them. I will never buy a major appliance from Sears again, but this type of poor customer service is no wonder why that customers are going elsewhere.
Alex was our technican. Very nice and knowledgable
My garden tractor hasnt been fixed for the last 2 repair appointments. The last appointment determined that I needed a part that is no longer available. So Sears is allowing me to replace it but they are ONLY ALLOWING ENOUGH REPLACEMENT FUNDS to buy a lawn mower not a Garden Tractor. So Much for having a Repair Protection Agreement at the time of purchase!!!!!!! Im still working on filing complaints, calling the Price Dispute Area, etc. So no points for you!!! I gave you NO Points but you wont let me post it unless I give you at least one. Another lie!!!!
I was very satisfied with the service technician who came to repair my refrigerators ice maker. After 3 or 4 visits to try to fix it, they finally gave up and put in a new one. The tech was helpful, told me what he was doing as he did it and was very friendly. However, the Sears service call center is terrible. They would call or leave e-mails for me to call them about upcoming service dates and not have the correct information. They would put me on hold, come back on the line and tell me things I knew were wrong. If it werent for the fantastic technicians coming to do the work I wouldnt call them back. I guess its the good work that counts.
Service was very friendly, helpful and was able to fix the washer in a timely manner. He helped figure out the problem, wasnt rushed and even went to go get a part that I needed. 5-stars!
Do not use Sears. The tech came in, and broke an irreplaceable piece of my dishwasher. When I called Sears to get them to pay me they admitted that he broke the dishwasher beyond repair and then refused to pay me back. Because I dont have any way of getting the original receipt for the purchase of the dishwasher (I moved into a house with the dishwasher already in it, and I had no way of contacting the person who bought the dishwasher because they were two home-owners ago) they REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE DISHWASHER THEY BROKE. Absolutely unacceptable. They admit they broke it and then had completely unrealistic expectations for people to keep receipts from years ago. Pay me back when you break something. Its not that hard.
They improperly installed both appliances we bought from them and have broken multiple appointments to correct their mistakes, when they do show up it is with improperly documented work orders and they refuse to tackle the work at hand.Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever had on a major purchase, avoid at all costs.
Refrigerator did not get repaired. The service tech was professional but the part replaced didnt solve the problem. There should have been some kind of a test beyond wait a couple of days to determine the effectiveness of the attempted repair. Ive scheduled another service call but this is an inconvenience.
Suggested things to do to prevent repeat of problem. Filter was preventing the making of ice cubes. Now making more than needed.Sears is the only appliance service company I am comfortable with.Joel out of San Marcos did the job
Scheduled repair between 8am-noon. I took off work to accommodate. I was told a repair person would call my cell when he was on his way. I called at 1pm asking where he was and was told hes show up between 2:45 and 4:45. At 1:30 I walked next door. At 2:11p I got an automated call saying my service person was on his way. I walked to my door to find sticker from 1:45 saying hed been there. Called line and did online chat was told REPEATEDLY hed be at my house by 5p. At 5:45 was told theyd rescheduled for next day between 1-5. At 6:30p the next day he came. 2 days of missed work, $750+ in repairs. NOT OKAY!
Customer service is a joke. I have been hung up on 3 times today! The first tech didnt show up after I took a half day off work and lost pay for the week. The 2nd tech came out and said he couldnt fix the dishwasher because it was a plumbing problem. We were still charged for the visit.I then had 2 plumbers come look and both said it was the dish washer and they both said it was the same issue in the dishwasher.I called customer service and they refused to refund me or allow me to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold multiple times and they disconnected me each time. One time I called and got the same tech that hung up on me and she promptly hung up on me again. I am filing a complaint with the better business center as well as warning everyone I can through social media and review sites.Never shop from Sears. Bottom line.
I told them that this is a rental unit so I dont live there and thus needed to be called when they were on there way. The initial service person was great, but the rest either came at the wrong time, didnt call first or no showed. Fortunately, the Guardhouse was able to let the 2nd Serviceman in but the tenant has not gotten back to me as to how well the repair is working. previously used Sears for a different problem and had no issues.
The repair and the advice were satisfactory, but the ice maker on this newly-purchased refrigerator is unbelievably bad. The slots wherein the cubes drop are too small, so the ice constantly gets stuck coming out. I had a Kenmore side-by-side for more than nine years and the ice maker never had one problem.
Technician was fine but didnt fix the problem. I had an electrician check the breaker and no problem found. So Im left with a water heater that may trip the breaker when I least expect a problem
The repairman was on time and very thorough. He explained to me why the washer could not be repaired, showing me the exact problem. He assisted me ordering a replacement machine which was delivered the following day and which was prompt;y and professionally installed.
I love that I didnt have to wait for days to have my dishwasher repaired, and the repairman was so nice. He had it fixed in no time, and was very informative and helpful.
The repair person did an excellent job repairing both my dryer and my dishwasher. They are working great at this point.
The Sears repairman was efficient and respectful. He repaired our dryer and serviced our washer. He informed us about a service plan.
The tech was polite, clean, professional and did a great job.
This transaction was so confused. I was misquoted a price of $69, the repair man quoted $179. It was so messed up. When the repairman called to get things straightened out he couldnt even understand the person because of their accent. Very Poor Experience. Not Happy
The repair person checked the dishwasher and decided there was nothing wrong with it. However, when the dishwasher run it stops about 3 Quarters Way through the cycle. I talked with him on the phone and he suggests that the only thing he could think of was replacing the controller board which would cost $175. He didnt seem very sure that that would work and I didnt want to spend another hundred and $75 on a guess. So I contacted Sears and purchased a brand-new dishwasher which has been installed. Needless to say Im not very satisfied with the repair attempt. Thanks for your time
Repairman contacted us before arriving. He was on time and listened as we related the problem with our washer and did not feel rushed. He was patient as he explained how the leak could have occurred, and his patience continued through 2 valve replacements. He encountered an additional leak in our shut off valve as he reattached the hoses to the washer. This could have been a problem in the future so we are pleased that he discovered it. We are very pleased with the professional, skilled service Pablo provided.
The tech sent was fine - I just dont feel that the foam they use now works very well actually. I liked it when they took the AC out of the window into the yard and really cleaned it out with hose and water and perhaps some kind of cleaner unknown to me. I understand from my tech sent, that Sears is protecting its employees from hurting their backs. But I wish there was some kind of cart that raised up to the height of the bottom of the ac so it could be easily pulled out of the window by one person onto the cart and taken out for a thorough cleaning. Regardless he used the foam but did do some cleaning of the outside of the ac with a hose as best can be done with it in the window. I appreciated that a lot and think it helped greatly with the cooling efficiency of the unit when he were done. But shortly after he left, about 10-15 minutes, the big unit in the house started spewing water across the living room!?!? so i turned it off and called someone to get the tech to come back and see what was happening. The person on the phone was greatly sympathetic and tried to help get them back to see the problem but the scheduling dept would only set up a new scheduled time and it was to be a week or so later!?!?!? I thought spewing water would be a priority!? So I put a towel over the area of the ac at the top where the water was coming out so I could get cool air until it hopefully quit doing that. The towel caught most of the water and it eventually slowed down and then stopped spitting. And the unit was cooling pretty good and probably better than before they came this time. The last time he came over a year ago, i remember it spewed a bit - not as much as this time - but I felt that it wasnt as cool using only the foam as before he came. He used more foam this time I think plus cleaning from the outside so that may be why there was so much water spewing into the house but after it stopped I think it worked better than before he came. One last thing... there is obvious moldy areas that can be seen looking into the ac - black stuff stuck on the white plastic parts. I asked about that and told him that I had gotten in there as best I could before to clean that off with clorox diluted water and did they do something about it? The answer seemed to be that they didnt do that so I could do what I did before. ok thats enough!
Sears did a great job of repairing my dryer.Everyone involved was very nice and informed.
My refrigerator started loosing its ability to cool down the two areas (refrigerator & freezer). The repair man was prompt and came within the time frame agreed upon. The only thing wrong was that it took a week to receive the parts needed to fix it. Counting the time before and after scheduling and receiving parts, It took over 2 weeks to get the refrigerator fixed. It also cost me about $100.00 in spoiled food. It would have been much worse, except when I called in to complain I was given special service and got a full week cut off of the total time involved. If I had not done this it would taken 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks to get the job done and I would have lost all of my food in the refrigerator. Not a good experience!Bill BrownleeUPDATEThe repair was not permanent. After noticing rising temps again we got the repair guy out again- it only took a week or so and another refrigerator full of food. It was a pin hole leak in the the line soldered in at the time of the original repair. I hope this time will last longer.full of food).
Fridge got fixed within 10 minutes once the parts came in. So did great on that part but on waiting time to have a technician come in is ridiculous that I had to wait two weeks and then when they came they didnt have the part so had to order it. So I had to wait another week so I was out of the fridge for three weeks. Not a happy camper the way you all have your days for a technician to come to my area.
The recent repair man (Mr. TUTT ) diagnosed the problem and replaced the circuit board. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. Earlier had a different repair man look at a fan problem that was a result of the current issue and he dismissed as normal. His correct diagnosis would have saved time and loss
Quick and friendly. Had the part and swapped it out in less than 20 minutes. Thank you for the quick, thorough and friendly service!
I,m very satisfy with the work done. thanks for a great job......
I still cant believe in this day of technology you still have 8 hour service windows. So I spent all day at home away from work for this appointment. Repair man calls early afternoon and says he would be here in about 30 minutes (which he was) if I can find a place to park. Sorry, Sears, it is not my fault I live downtown, though I did explain there is commercial parking out front that can used on a first come basis.Once here, the repairman informs me that the part shipped to me will not fix the problem. Great - so its already been a week and now he informs me he has to order a new panel for my TV that would be shipped to a location for him to pick up. He called in the part and then told me, normally it would be 2 weeks but in your case it will be 3 because I am going on vacation.Wait. What? Two weeks to repair my TV? Now 3 weeks because of his vacation??? Additionally, he did not explain any of my options which I apparently have through my Master Protection Agreement. Luckily I called them and got this resolved or Id have been without the TV for a long, long time.Shameful. This is the 2nd time in the past few years of living here we have had the worst experience with Sears Repair. You should get 1 star. You get the second star for showing up and calling in the problem. Though barely at that.TMJ
Very professional and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my repairman and the service.
Excellent service, friendly efficient and helpful answering all my questions. He even fixed things I didnt know needed fixing.I love my lawn tractor and I love being able to call Sears whenever it needs something.
Fabulous! On-time per appointment including phone call with ETA. Follow-up repair was running behind (December 23) with 2 phone calls for ETA. Courteous and very professional repair techs - Steve and Pablo. Thanks Sears!
The service technician arrived within the window given, was courteous, helpful and completed his task quickly. I will utilize Sears Repair again in the future and recommend it to my friends.
Have a maintenance agreement with Sears. One of the appliances is a Frigidaire microwave. All documents in our possession including the Sears contract, describe the appliance as a Built-In. Now that it needs to be replaced, Sears says they do not cover it because it is a counter-top. Have it for four years and they did a diagnostic check on it last year and never informed us about this discrepancy. We are very unhappy and not pleased with customer service.
Excellent repairman who explained the problem we were having with the dishwasher and fixed it quickly. He had to come a long roud-about way to find our ranch and did it cheerully.
Everything went well. Don did a fantastic job! Thanks.
Although I was completely satisfied with my service, my dryer went out after two loads. I was however warned that it would go or again if I dont get the dryer vent cleaned. I did schedule for a dryer vent cleaning. Unfortunately first available is this coming Wednesday.
The serviceman was very courteous and efficient, although a bit later than expected.
I am not at all satisfied with my experience. I had asked for someone to come take a look at my combination microwave/oven several weeks ago. A technician came out but said he couldnt work on either one because there was no sticker on the oven showing the serial/model # After he left I found a registration card with a model and serial number I called the retention dept at Sears and they confirmed that the numbers applied to the oven/microwave I scheduled another appointment and someone came out last week. When he came in and saw the appliance he said hed never seen one of those before and he didnt think hed be able to help. Then he told me that the model/serial numbers I had were for the cooktop so he wouldnt be able to work on it anyway.I feel I am being unjustly treated since the fact that there is no sticker on the oven is no fault of mine. These are the most expensive appliances Ive ever purchased and now I cant have them worked on. Also, I have written several emails and reviews and no one has ever contacted me about it. I will never purchase anything else from Sears
THE TECH WHO DID MY REPAIR WAS GREAT, NICE GUY, BUT AFTER I USED THE TABLE SAW TWO TIMES THE SWITCH STOPPED WORKING. WILL CALL SEARS MONDAY
Serviceman was excellent. He found the problem immediately and fix it. He explained the problem and how he would repair it.
SERVCE SPECALIST TOLDME THE WRONG WASHING MACHINE TO ORDER. iNCOMPATIBLE. cOULDNT UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I had a contractor of Sears come out to my condo, b/c dryer wasnt drying clothes completely. After the $90 service fee, I was told I had a blockage in the vent, and they dont do that sort of work. Wasted $$$. I hired you, a dryer repair service to make my dryer work. You should not be in business or refund my service call. You spend 10 minutes there to tell me something I already knew. Never using any Sears service nor buying another appliance from there in my lifetime, and neither will anyone I know.
On time, knowledgeable of his task, quick to fix and out the door. perfect!
The installers did an excellent job on the installation. I was very happy.
Horribly The riding lawnmower needed a line blown out, instead he charged us for a carburetor and threaten to cancel the warranty. He was told it did not need a carburetor but he refused to listen instead harping on his back surgeries and how he use to be a carpenter. Then he instructed us not to use the riding lawnmower attachment for it would cancel the warranty
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I had a professional come out to look at my washer, and he didnt even take it apart to check what was wrong with it. He ordered a part that he said it needed, and then I had to schedule another appointment for someone to come install it. When the second professional came, he took it apart to check it, and soon realized that it did not need that part. As a matter of fact, the second guy fixed whatever was wrong by simply taking it apart and putting it back together. But the first guy didnt do his job at all, and I was charged for it. I filed a claim and they agreed I was due a refund, but said I had to call them to get the refund processed. Ive now called them 4 times over the course of nearly two weeks and they keep saying they will have their billing team call me back but they still have not...
I felt the technician gave quality service. He gave me some tips that would prevent troubles in the future. This employee is an asset to your company.
The technicians arrived on time, were efficient and thorough and repaired my washing machine in a very short amount of time.
The subcontractor you sent out for our dishwasher, oven and refrigerator was useless. couldnt order parts. didnt know how to turn on the diswasher. worked for a dish network company. he told us to order online ourselves. my husband tried and was told the parts were discontinued. this is a 5 year old dishwasher! I got on phone with other customer service people who said theyd send someone else out. they also said the Sears tech coming out for the microwave would recheck other items and order. He did not and would not because there was not a work order for it, despite the fact that I was assured by a woman in dallas that there were ample notes of our problems. we are still stuck, our appliances are now out of warranty. but if you ask me, you need to come back and extend the warrantly and take care of it. Oh, and FIRE THE DISH PEOPLE. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT KITCHEN APPLIANCES. You also owe me an hourly wage for the 5 hours of BS I have spent on phones with your various customer service lines in the US and, I presume, PHilippines. I have always been a fan of Sears. Now I am not. send me a check for $100 for the time you owe me ( well under my actual hourly wage), extend the warranty, and send out a true Sears Tech who knows how to work on kitchen appliances. Dont disappoint me. thanks.
Service was prompt and professional. Emil replaced the parts quickly. All is well. Thanks.
Fast and friendly service was provided. The technician was able to troubleshoot the issue and find exactly what the problem was, and best of all, he fixed it!
Poor experience with Sears delivery service.. Installers drove in to driveway, broke a large tree branch and left it for us to clear. Did a poor job of installing appliances and giving operating instructions. We had to call a tree cutter to help us clear the tree debris that added extra cost. The delivery people did the damage and just drove away.Mitchel and Rose Wong.
Outstanding service getting the parts shipped and installed. Technician was very friendly and very informative.
