Because of his expertise and experience, before he arrived Justin, already had a good idea of what the problem was and brought the part to fix it. He confirmed his diagnosis of the issue and fixed it, explaining both the solution and the cost. He also documented on the hot water heater what had been done, for future reference. All around, great person to work with and great job.

We made an emergency call on a holiday weekend when our compressor unit stopped functioning properly. Chris with Elite responded to our initial call very quickly. He was timely, professional, and communicated well with us through the whole process from scheduling our appointment, to expected arrival time, and all the steps of the repair process. I was dreading having to literally wait and sweat it out until someone could work us into their schedule. Much to my surprise and delight, within 4 hours of our initial call, our unit was repaired and blowing cold again.Chris explained our problem and gave us options as well as some advice on what to look for when we eventually need to replace. Justin, the plumber from Elite, arrived early and was careful and thorough about what was an out of the ordinary job: connecting a bulk storage propane tank system through a stub-out to a free-standing grill. He made sure he had all of the correct parts for the job and had analyzed the correct pressure. Once he had everything hooked up, he then introduced me to the system, with really helpful tips, and tested the system to make sure it works correctly. And he was a nice person to work with, to boot. All around great job. Elite will be the folks we call for plumbing issues going forward.

I called early in the day to see if I could get on the schedule to fix my a/c, which had stopped working the night before. They rearranged the schedule to fit me in and the technician had me up and running super fast. He was knowledgeable, professional and caught an error from a previous company! Chris F came out a few months ago while we were gathering quotes to replace our entire system. (We were looking at a few months out) He was by far the most professional and most thorough company, also had the best pricing. We had an emergency where our furnace stopped and he was able to get everything set up to do the full replacement in less than a week. Elite Heating and Air once again saved the day! We noticed our A/C wasnt working at 8:00pm and it was hot outside. Chris came within an hour and fixed us up. Not only that, he gave us tips on how to avoid that kind of thing in the future. Perfect! We have used Elite for years and will continue to do so.

Our HVAC system was working intermittently today and we called a couple AC companies we worked with in the past. Since it was a Sunday we got routed to a call center / dispatch / appointment making service for all the companies. Only Elite had a technician, Desmond, called us back. Desmond was courteous and friendly and, more importantly, able to diagnose the issue over the phone provided the information I told him. He also provided me some instructions to see if I could remedy the issue myself (clogged primary drain) to save us the cost of a Sunday trip. Unfortunately, my efforts failed. I informed Desmond through text and he was able to confirm the problem from my pictures. He still had another appointment before ours and provided me with another alternative to try. The last time we used Elite, the technician was also conscientious about the cost to us and timeliness of repair so I whole heartedly recommend Elite simply for their customer service and mindfulness of their customers. In the end, I wasn’t able to fix the clogged drain, Desmond showed up at the appointed time and fixed the issue and provided tips for avoiding the problem in the future (regular maintenance with bleach or vinegar).

Elite supplies Trane.- The usual 10-year warranty for parts, but also a 2-year labor warranty to see the installation through a couple of seasons.- Detailed and clear. The only item reference number missing beforehand was the insulation, which thankfully ended up being a best-selling option that Elite didnt try to skimp out on.- Job description: Air pump; air handler; 10kW heat strip; in-duct air purifier; WiFi thermostat; ductwork modifications to optimize airflow; blown-in insulation to cover the original, now-settled insulation.- FYI $1000 deposit.INQUIRY WITH ALEX GOTAY- My first inquiry call lasted a half hour. I followed up with tons of questions before approving. Many other [impatient, big ego] experts do not respond well to being asked how, why, and why not regarding every option. Alexs been in this industry for over a dozen years and is on top of the latest HVAC technology. He was always responsive, personable, and forthcoming, never curt. He seems to enjoy his job!- Alex provided three practical options for my needs. He noted my low insulation levels but didnt try to convince me that it was a comfort-or-death matter. I ended up hiring Elite for that job as well. After I mentioned a hot spot in the house, Alex suggested dampers as opposed to replacing a very long, perfectly-functional duct (which was a reasonable-but-costly suggestion of another contractor). I personally believe that the hot room is due to poor ductwork, which Elite has now remedied. Summer will be telling.INSTALLATION WITH MARCOS AND SANTOS- BEAUTIFUL WORK! Unlikely descriptor for an HVAC project, but applicable. The seals on the air handler are secure and smooth. As requested, the ductwork was raised for better airflow. Im grateful they raised the copper line above my head, too.- The kind of positive aura youd want in your peripheral for a full day. Serenely focused on their work. No loud banging, grunting, or sullen postures.- Highly considerate. Covered my floors with rolled-out cloth so that shoe dirt wouldnt deposit onto my floors. Filled the insulation blower outside to prevent insulation from accidentally circulating inside my home. Tied the front door to stay closed around the blower hose so that insulation wouldnt float in. Enclosed the attics house fan with cardboard to block insulation. I didnt know it was possible for a non-living area, but the attic simply looks open and cleaner after their presence.- Over and beyond. Donning rain boots, I entered the attic to collect raccoon droppings, so that they wouldnt be disturbingly buried under the new insulation. Immediately Santos offered to take over the task for me, saving me the trouble of crawling through insulation, especially in sections that were beneath a low roof. As he proactively proceeded to survey the rest of the attic, Marcos came in with an empty box, which was prepped to be a bin for droppings and trash. This was not covered in the scope of the contract! But thank goodness, because I am mentally at peace knowing that I neednt worry about anything rotting above my head!POST-INSTALLATION- After collecting the final check in the early evening, Alex wasnt rushing to depart. Before leaving, he ensured that I could pair my phone and thermostat.- The air purifier model installed was accidentally not [but legitimately similar to] my preferred model. Ive chosen to keep it for now, but Alex assured me that he would replace it free of charge if I later decide that I indeed wish to swap them out.- Zero hidden fees. It is worth stating that my home is in overall good condition with a sturdy build and foundation.Cant be more thankful for Elite, Alex, Marcos, and Santos for bringing me much-needed relief on such an important purchase!

We initially had Elite A/C install our new A/C unit a little over 2 years ago when the 12 year old unit in our house finally died. Elite seemed to have the best installation deal & they were able to get us on the schedule almost immediately. Our A/C has been blowing clean & cold for the past 2 years until tonight.On this blazing hot August afternoon, our thermostat went blank at 4:45pm. With 100+ degree temps i started panic calling every one that had A/C repair on their website in a 10 mile radius. After being told by several companies that no-one could do anything till the next day. Resigned to my fate, i watched some YouTube videos for common fixes. While none of them worked, i did notice the magnet stuck to our A/C unit from when Elite installed our unit saying ‘Call Us!’ ((( duh! ))) Called them with little hope as it was 6:30pm by now, but the phone was answered promptly & friendly and i was told a technician would call me tonight.He called about 30mins later & said he could be out tonight to fix the A/C at 8pm!!!! We were thrilled ((i was on the verge of finding a hotel that would hold us and our 2 dogs)). He called & showed up at 7:50pm & had to flush the system (we had a condensation backup overflow issue which tripped the thermostat to OFF). He drained the system & did a great job with the maintenance. We had cool air again in 25mins of the guy showing up.Thank you guys SO much again for coming out late! When his offer came in $536 less than the other dealer’s offer for a system with identical components, we decided to give Elite our business.We could not be more pleased with the installation process and our new system. The installation technicians, Marcus and Santos, were competent, polite, and professional. They were glad to answer any questions and did a beautiful job with the installation and cleanup. As they were finishing, Herman came by to see that everything had gone as planned and made sure we were satisfied and comfortable with the system’s operation.We will definitely be doing business with Elite for the maintenance of our central air system in the future.

They educated me on why the issue happened and did not try to add on extra services. They fixed what needed to be fixed and moved on. There was no up selling like most other companies. I manage an apartment community in Austin. I had used this company before and they did an okay job, so I decided to give them a call to help with two issues. One of my residents a/c wasnt working well and something else. I called on Friday and was told they would be there about noon on Monday. At 11 am today I got a call that they would not be here because they do not work with apartment communities. If that is true it is what it is, but wasting my time is not okay. If you had just said that it wouldve been cool. I could find somebody else, but you waited until right before it was going to be done to tell me you arent going. Not professional.Response to your response- you are incorrect Chris. The person I spoke to on Friday gave me a time that somebody would be out, not that I would receive a call. If it was indeed a call as you claim, I would have continued looking for another company as I care about my residents not having ac. And yes, you did tell me that you would not come out here because you dont work with apartment communities. Had your rep said that, it wouldnt have been an issue. I get it as some companies dont. Fact is your company has been out here before despite you adamantly claiming you hadnt. I dont know if you are just not aware of what your staff is doing or if you over scheduled that day, but you are incorrect. I did not yell at you nor was a rude. Was I frustrated, of course. Its summer and ac companies are busy. Instead of me finding somebody who could come solve my issue, you wasted my time and my resident is the one who had to suffer because of your company not having their practices straight. Lastly, I did not hang up on you. You said you would give me a call and I said ok. Then we hung up. Did you call? You did not. So after being out of town for 10 days, I was ready to come home. I missed the intense weather we’ve been having, so when I got home I attempted to lower our AC to a more comfortable temperature. My thermostat control system put out a message that we had a system malfunction and needed to call a service technician.I called Hermann, it was a Sunday evening and he offered to come out within 30 minutes, or we could be his second call in the morning.Fortunately I have a portable ac unit and used it for the night.Hermann showed up, and within 15 minutes had our system diagnosed. Within an hour we were up and running.We all live in Central Texas and living without our AC isn’t realistic,and we all know these service calls can get pricey real quick! I must admit I was concerned what this “system malfunction” was going to cost us. Turns out we were charged a great price, and exceptional service from Hermann and Elite Heating and Air Conditioning.

Alex came over to install new Trane thermostats. I have been a nest user for years, and he was able to walk me through why Nest wasnt appropriate for my two stage system and how their thermostats would work more efficiently. Since we paid up for a more sophisticated heating/ac we should maximize those benefits. He was professional and extremely informative. Id be more than satisfied if he was my technician for all heating/ac needs. Thanks again Alex!

When I started having problems with my unit I had someone else at first and kinda give me the run around. Well I got ahold of Elite and they explained to me in ways I understood in detail, they left no stone unturned did not sugar coat anything and got the job done in a timely manner. Thanks Elite....

Elite is just what its name suggests when it comes to service - elite. Bobby Garcia, one of their technicians, showed up within an hour of my AC stopping. He patiently explained to me all the different parts of the system and what he was doing every step of the way. It turned out to be a minor electrical issue - but his steady hand, in-depth knowledge, and friendly demeanor helped us feel at ease with our system moving forward. I would definitely recommend Elite to anyone who needs service on their AC system.

AC went out and they were on top of it, needed a new system and very reasonable. Ours was 20 years old so didn’t know what to expect. Reasonable and professional and very fast quality work.

Each of the professional service providers (estimator, installers, technicians, annual check up, etc.) has been very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful in dealing with the replacement of one of our HVAC units this year. Alex and Caelan were terrific - they did a very professional job of replacing an evaporator coil and worked during extremely cold weather to do the job so we would have our heat working again. Both are knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. Would definitely like them to do all service calls in the future.
