I waited until I had a few visits before leaving a review. On my first visit the owner did my consultation and told me her story and how she got here and that was amazing. This place has the most amazing customer service and best of all the hair removal is PERMANENT. It hurts (a lot) I’m not going to lie; but they do everything they can to ease the pain. These people know everything about hair growth and removal. Laser didn’t work for me but this did and I’m forever grateful. Also, the price is reasonable. Ask for Heidi!

Finding this company was a God send. I’ve dealt with hair in my chin for years which I absolutely hate. I’ve been tweezing almost daily before finding Mishael’s. I was looking into other services which didn’t guarantee permanent removal. I stumbled upon this amazing company, read the reviews and decided to give them a try. Best decision ever! This was my first time visiting this location and my first time having treatment. The environment is very COVID19 conscious. I was actually nervous coming in however the owner and Candace erased all that away. Its a judgement free zone. They informed of the process and how long it would take to complete. So far Im happy with todays visit and my results. It wasnt as painful as I heard it could be, more so discomfort but tolerable for me. Im currently receiving treatment for my chin.

Honestly Im blown away by the level of service and skill here. At this point Ive worked with 4 of their electrologists and all of them were incredibly quick and efficient and had an excellent bedside manner. So I wanted to wait a little longer before I gave feedback on my experience here since I’m only two sessions in BUT I need to share how amazing my results are so far. Before I found Mishael’s I had been getting weekly electrolysis for four months with no results and quick regrowth and ingrowns. My electrologist was plucking my hairs. I literally felt her pulling and struggling to get my hairs out and decided enough was enough. My first sessions here have been with Ahoova, the owner. She is a very sweet, experienced and knowledgeable woman. All of the staff are trained by her. Right away she made me feel at ease with my concerns and my past experience with “glorified plucking” and explained how my process would be. There was absolutely no plucking whatsoever and the hairs that were stubborn, she took the time to reinsert until they slid out. My skin has never been so smooth and my regrowth is super light in comparison to the past. I can already tell with staying consistent and doing what I’m told that my trouble hair will a thing of the past. My experience here was great. Heidi is a sweet heart and very professional. I was dealing with ingrown hairs to my face(with discoloration)neck & chest area. I’m a woman of color. After about four weeks of treatment Heidi and others like my family and friends noticed a difference to my skin. It took about two months before I noticed a difference even though others did. I guess b/c of years of looking at it everyday. My face is now clear and hairless. So is my chest/breast area. I don’t have to wear make up to cover up. Electrolysis works! Much like many of the preceding texts, I have waxed, tweezed, and tried laser. None of these stopped or reduced the actual hair growth. I have been seeing Heidi at Mishaels for a few months now and am extremely pleased with the results. Heidi is very professional, thorough, and kind.

Not very flexible with scheduling and communication. Attempted Several times to make an appointment after previously communicating I could not make the previous appointment and have been given the run around. Results have been subpar felt like hairs were just being tweezed.

Highly recommend Mishael’s Electrolysis. I went 3 days ago and felt safe getting treatment.I wore a mask (wear a mask!) and had to call when I arrived (front door was locked) She showed up at the door, took my temperature and asked me a series of questions. She let me in and I was the only person in the facility. She wore 2 layers of masks and a plastic shield.I needed treatment on my chin - she kept my mask on my mouth and nose while she worked.I’ve been to her in the past and have gotten fantastic results - highly recommend

I am a newer customer to Mishael’s Electrolysis, so I may come back in the future to comment on long term results, but for now I’ll comment on short term results!I’ll start by saying that this establishment does a good job of being safe with coronavirus. Everyone is required to wear a mask (staff and customers), they clean between patients, do temperature checks, have hand sanitizer available, and stagger patients to ensure the waiting room has no more than two people at a time.In the past I have used laser hair removal on a number of different areas of my body for the recommended 6 sessions. I am an “ideal” candidate, with very fair skin and dark hair. Laser hair removal has always helped, but has never fully “removed” hair for me. Even in the short term, it has only thinned my dark hairs, or removed some but not others. Electrolysis, on the other hand, promises permanent results REGARDLESS of your skin tone or hair color.My short term results are very promising on this front so far, though I personally can’t attest to long term results at this time.Another thing I like about this establishment are the staff. Everyone I have met so far is incredibly friendly and well-trained. By contrast at in the past with laser hair removal, I have gotten the impression that staff are not always well-trained.At this establishment I can also “cherry pick” areas that i want to have worked on (also in contrast to laser hair removal). So for example, I can say “oh can you get a few hairs on my neck, and then move onto my legs?” And the answer is yes!You pay by the length of session at Mishael’s Electrolysis, so I’m not charged more by having multiple areas worked on in the same session.Pros to electrolysis at this location: promises permanent removal of hair regardless of skin tone or hair color, well-trained and friendly staff, pay by session length-so can work on multiple areas with no change to costCons: electrolysis eliminates hair one hair at a time, so it can be time consuming and it causes slight pain (so does laser hair though).Neutral: like laser hair, you’ll probably need to come back for follow up sessions (hair grows at different rates)In my opinion the pros very much outweigh the cons!

I truly do love MEC! The entire staff is so kind and welcoming, so every visit feels like you’re spending time with family. From my first visit I knew that I’d chosen the perfect place.I came to MEC after finally having enough of my unwanted facial hair. To say that my chin was a COMPLETE disaster is an understatement. I came in a little embarrassed knowing what it looked like and they made me feel so comfortable and at ease. We discussed a treatment plan, and i decided to start immediately. I have been growing facial hair since I was nine years of age. I don’t think you can possibly know how frustrating that is as a female. I feel beautiful, complete now. I can hold my head up without having to work about hair being seen. It is such a huge relief as well. No more money on waxing, threading, and other hair removal methods. The also work very well to schedule when I need to be. My skin has cleared up so well already, and this was before the process has even finished. I have confidence now. I just started treatment a couple weeks ago and I am thrilled with the results. From my first phone call, Ahoova and her team have been polite, considerate, empathetic, and informative.I have a significant amount of facial hair and I’ve been tweezing and shaving for years. I started treatment in feb 2019 and have been going since. I have PCOS and facial hair was the main concern. I have had laser and spent thousands for them to lie and say it will eventually get better. After my first treatment here I saw a difference. If you are contemplating having this done, please wait no longer. This has been the best decision of 2020. I started my journey in June and saw an immediate difference from the very first session with Heidi. To date, Ive only had five sessions with the first two being about an hour long. The other sessions have ranged between 15-35 minutes long. I no longer have to worry about shaving or waxing my facial hair, or feeling embarrassed. There is light pain with this process but it is tolerable and very much worth it. My only regret is not coming years sooner.

Heidi is the specialist that I’ve been working with and she’s great at what she does.I’ve noticed a great significance in the reduction of hair growth under the jawline/lower neck area after approximately 2-3 weeks from the initial session. Since then I’ve had a few more sessions completed and my ingrown hairs are no longer a MAJOR issue for me.From time to time I may experience a few ingrown hairs that would re-appear but, because the re-growth of hairs aren’t as coarse as they once were - they’re not causing as much inflammation that I’m accustomed to experiencing.And also, since I haven’t gone through or have been consistent with visiting the office to get as many sessions completed base on my needs/condition - could be the reason for the small amount of ingrown hairs that may re-appear.But based on the results I’m seeing so far - with only a hand full of sessions completed... I highly recommend Mishael’s Electrolysis Center. Heidi is changing my life. My facial hair leads to ingrown hair which leads to hyperpigmentation. I see a reduction in all three. All of my hairs were coarse to the touch, now they are becoming fine and undetectable to the touch. I do believe I started coming in August and now it’s February. This is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. If you have a similar issue and you’re willing to invest a little time and money into yourself I encourage you to do so. You won’t regret it.

My visits to Mishael’s have been excellent! Mishael took time to explain the process and is very warm and welcoming. The center is very clean and special care has been taken to protect clients during the COVID pandemic! I highly recommend Mishael’s Electrolysis Center!

Wow, havent been to Mishaels in over 12 years, but its just as I remembered, the best electrolysis ever! They still had my chart on file. Heidi was awesome. She was efficient and quick. She also focused on all the areas I asked. Wish they had offices in the Bay Area in CA. I will definitely come again during my next visit to Atl.

I absolutely love Mishaels Electrolysis! Everyone is always so kind, knowledgeable, and considerate there, and very skilled at what they do. Im trans female and undergoing electrolysis as part of my transition, and they are so respectful, sweet, and sympathetic to me and the many other trans women I have seen there, regardless of where they are in their transition. And they can do everything you need for transition, from facial hair to the downstairs regions that are necessary to have done before surgery. Would recommend to anyone I know!

Very professional, polite and accommodating. The facility is clean and neat. Her work has has made an amazing difference is a short amount of time. I’m so glad I did not do laser and spend much more money when this will permanently take away hair (laser won’t). I am grateful.

I can to Mishael’s after trying laser hair removal, which not only did not work, but actually caused an increase in hair growth and hair thickness than what I had prior to beginning laser treatments. Ahoova and Heidi are two of the most professional, fun and competent people I have had the pleasure to get to know and they made me feel safe and confident in their knowledge during treatments. I never felt judged or self conscious while being treated by them (plus, they’re good conversationalists), and after seeming them for more than two years, I barely have hair in the areas where I had laser treatments done previously! Hair and hair removal is a very personal, and oftentimes, angst-inducing topic, but my experience at Mishael’s has made me feel safe, confident, and pleased with their service.

Laser never worked. $$$$$ down the drain. Electrolysis is working, not nearly the costs. And takes care of the gray. Had treatment 3 hours ago. You can still see some redness but theres no pain or discomfort.

I dont know why I waited so long to do this. After trying plucking, waxing, shaving, electronic hair removal, you name it, I did it. And nothing worked and only made things worse. I am so glad I found Mishaels Electrolysis. They are reasonably priced and have a wonderful staff. It is somewhat painful and its a process, but one that is well worth it. I have been receiving treatments since February 2019, and can see a tremendous decrease in facial hair growth. I will continue to use their services for other problem areas in the future. I cannot thank the staff at Mishaels enough. They are all so welcoming, kind, and caring. I would recommend them to anyone suffering with excessive hair growth. Absolute love what theyre doing for me and others!

This place is a heaven sent!!! Iv been struggling with hirsutism since high school, and over the years of shaving and trying to maintain it has really affected me socially. Always trying to cover my blemishes with makeup and the hair in my face was getting out of control and hurt!!! I am so glad I found this place. I have tried laser hair removal before and the hair always comes back. No matter what marketing says- laser hair removal is not permanent, but ELECTROLYSIS IS PERMANENT. I’ve been extremely happy with both the customer service and the results of Mishel’s Electrolysis.

Called just now... and Very rude service. Previously, I went there for a consult and the lady told me she doesn’t know if I should get it and she only barely spent 5 min with me on the consult and was rushing me off.. Called the office later (1 year later ) since I have stubborn ingrown hairs and really wanted electrolysis done and the same lady said that she is too busy and can’t make an appointment for me and that maybe it’s not for me and I can go somewhere else!!!! I was shocked and disgusted with the rude service and “do not care” attitude .. I am not sure if that’s her business but I DO Not recommend this place and I recommend they find better staff!!!

I highly recommend this business. I’ve suffered from unsightly and unwanted hair growth and been hesitant to seek any laser treatment because of how dark my complexion is, so, I decided to try electrolysis. The results that I e gotten after about 3 treatments are fantastic. Heidi is my technician and she does a great job.

I have been to Mishaels Electrolysis for 3 sessions now, and every time has been a great experience. All staff members are very professional and friendly, and they always make me feel relaxed prior to and during treatment. I chose Mishaels because I was impressed with how much experience their staff has doing electrolysis. The prices are very reasonable, and I was able to see noticeable results after my first treatment. Im sure everyone who comes here feels this way, but I am disappointed in myself for not getting this done sooner. This is the only place I would trust to get electrolysis, and I would highly recommend at least going in for a consultation.

I work with Heidi consistently and I will say she is patient and calm spirited. Everyone here is so nice and accommodating and they want to make sure you have the best experience. They allowed me to gain confidence back that I lost a long time ago due to the excessive hair on my face. They are taking care of me and I love it! I started going to Mishael‘s electrolysis in 2017, I have been dealing with hairs on the side of my face and my chin since middle school. I was ashamed I was embarrassed by the hairs on my face so I started to go and I looked them up online and I had so many questions. Mishael was very informational knowledgeable on the hairs and what was going to be done. I can tell you firsthand the electrolysis works and I love Michelle’s electrolysis they are awesome all the ladies that are there are awesome they know what they’re doing they’re very patient they’re very caring and very knowledgeable and they’re very supportive I recommend this place to any one that is going through unwanted hair and wants to have it permanently removed.

Ahoova and her team are great, they give you all the information you need to know and have been extremely patient, professional, and caring. I had done laser like so many others, but it didn’t work.
