I love the owner of this place. After going last year and breaking out on my back...I called and she recommended I try a sugar wax. I did, and the results have been much better. I have still had a little break out on my trap area, but aside from that much better than regular wax! She also informed me that a lot of places claim to offer and give a true “sugar wax” and in fact, it is not the correct technique. I really enjoy this place, if you have funky or sensitive skin, let them know!!! Very cool women and convenient parking garage right across the way that is validated upon receipt after your wax, or your arrival during check in!

Ive been going to this location on and off for years. Brazilian waxes can be kinda awkward by nature, but if thats stopping you from giving it a try, definitely check this place out. The staff is very friendly, and Ive never had an unpleasant experience.

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is so kind and hospitable. I feel comfortable whenever I get my wax services done and I frequent this place once a month. Of the technicians I have used; Chau, Yuliana and others, everyone is personable, kind and patient with me. I got my very frost Brazilian done here and the staff was awesome! They were super sweet and as gentle as they could be considering what they were working with lol. I’ve been coming back every 3 weeks ever since. Angela and Angie give me some great tips every time, literally the best!

I recently moved to Atlanta so I’ve been looking for a new waxing home. The only reason I gave it two stars is just because of the job done. Everything there was very clean and everyone was so nice and sweet. It’s just I was very unhappy with my service. I get there and when I get Into the room, the girl tells me she had to sugar my Brazilian instead of wax because her wax is cold. The problem with that is that my hair is so coarse, I need to be waxed for my Brazilian. So of course she begins to sugar me, and it’s because the next day is my anniversary weekend getaway so I have to get this done. She finishes my Brazilian and I am still left with so much hair because the sugar was unable to really pull out a lot of my hair because it wasn’t strong enough so it just broke off a lot of my hair instead of waxing it off. And I tell her this, so she starts to tweeze me. I eventually tell her to just stop because if I wanted to tweeze myself down there I would have just shaved and tweezed myself at home. Then she gets to my legs, which she did a decent job, sadly I was still left with patches of hair she did not get and at that point I’m just ready to go. I’ve been waxed a million times and I’ve never left with any hair, especially when It had been a month since I had shaved anything so my hair was plenty long. Like I said, everyone was so sweet, I just hate I had to pay for a job not well done. And I still tipped 20% on top of my service. I won’t be back

I’ve recently started getting waxed by Jasmine and she is amazing!! She’s fast, efficient and personable. Once I’ve found a reliable waxer I never stray away but I was in a crunch and ended up having to book with Lorena. She paid very close attention to me, had great conversation and did an excellent job. I just know I have two reliable waxers who will do an amazing job! Thank you ladies

She is the consummate professional: she is always on time, always respectful, and always smiling. All that aside, I often get compliments on my brows with folks asking, ”Who does your brows? They’re always perfect!” I have recommended Art Of Wax to numerous friends, coworkers and family members who now see members of the staff for various services—all now loyal customers too. They are very worth a visit!

I give this place one star because the quality of work isnt the same.I give Jasmine 5 stars!!If you have sensitive or thin skin I suggest going to Jasmine! I have had such bad experiences with waxing salons ripping my skin telling me my skin is too thin saying I cant handle wax and giving me alternatives. I go to Jasmine at art of wax. She WAXES my face and I have never EVER had an issue with her ripping my skin at all. Even after a few weeks of having a chemical peel Jasmine STILL didnt rip my skin with wax and supposedly thats when your skin is most vulnerable. I tried another person at ART OF WAX because Jasmine was unavailable....and... although she meant well and was very nice....she RIPPED MY SKIN.. in three place. Although they were small rips I still wear concealer to cover them. As long as Jasmine stays in Atlanta Georgia I will only be going to her! Although Im sure she is happy where she is should she ever leave ART OF WAX I will be will leaving too to follow her wherever she goes! Phenomenal Job!

Loved this place I got my bikini area sugared! my technicians name was chow (I think) but she was awesome! Talked me through the whole process and counted to 3 before each pull so I could brace myself. I bought the sugar scrub it smells delicious and I can’t wait to use it! this place is definitely at the top of my list and I will be back.

Consistently hygienic, quick and superb service! I didn’t have a preference of an aesthetician here until this year. Each one assigned to me has been great in terms of service and attitude. Joyce has been my go-to person since the beginning of this year. Love her easy and effective homemade recommendations for skin care!Ambience: Neat common area to wait, drink coffee and get some reading done (that said, I’ve almost always had little to no waiting time at the salon.)Parking: A good number of spots outside and in the retail parking lot in the opposite building. The store does validate your parking ticket.

This was my first time at this location and it was an awesome experience! The customer service was great as well as the visit. A.O.W was C19 ready! Wonderful, clean place. Ive been here a couple times and had my brows done by a different person each time, and they were all wonderful. Each person was incredibly thorough and careful and asked me for my opinions before getting started. They all filled in my brows for me as well, so I felt great the rest of the day. Its close to work, but Id be willing to go out of my way to come here. The price is amazing considering the quality of service here.

This place is amazing, Tamara at the front desk was so sweet and Brittany was amazing! I booked my next appointment right before I left. It happens to be an hour drive for me but the results are so worth it, I don’t even care. Brittany was extremely efficient and caring, I’ve bragged to all of my friends about this place and her already lol. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend for waxing (it was the only service I got). By the way the appointment when I booked said it would last 30 minutes but it felt like I was out in about 20-25. No crazy swelling and no crazy redness. I LOOOOOOVE this place.

Lorena has been my Esthetician for many years! The service is impeccable and I’ve never been disappointed. Choa (sure I spelled that wrong) gives facials that are unbelievable. I love this place!

If you have never been waxed, then you definitely need to go to ART OF WAX! And even if you have been, this place is special! It is state of the art! LOL! But although the studio is beautiful and modern, it is the attention and personal care that you will love. Owner, Lorena, is who I have been seeing and she is not only very professional, but very expert at her craft, as she should be (as she is Brazilian!) She has always given me a beautiful Brazilian wax and leg wax. Complete smoothness. She is always attentive to what she is doing and I have never been disappointed in the results! If you are at all nervous about getting a bikini wax, then you must go here, and you will be super happy! She is very gentle and reassuring as she is working on you. She personally trains her staff, so I would feel comfortable seeing another technician, if necessary. Thanks Lorena! Love you!

Went so Well. I did forget the lady’s name who did the Brazilian on me but I was beyond pleased with the outcome. Of course it was a bit painful as it was my first time getting the service done since switching over again from shaving but sooo happy I did. I’d post a photo of how seamless and smooth it looks but google might not quite be okay with that. Whatever it looks great and I’m happy! I’ll be back. :)

Best wax i have ever had! Lorena was super nice and talked to me the whole time which helped comfort me! She encouraged me to try sugar waxing because it was less painful, helps with ingrown hairs and last longer. The molding aspect of it was kind of painful but she talked me through it! She was the best! I cant wait to go back! The shop was super clean, they also have free snacks and water in the waiting area! My new go to wax place!

This was my first time trying art of wax as I usually go to another waxing place but I am so glad I decided to try them! I get anxiety when I have to wax because of the pain but they made my experience so much more pleasurable. Britanny was so friendly and kind and really did an awesome job. I love the products they use and Brittany’s skills were superb. I also really love the fact that they do sugaring in addition to waxing and they also have a loyalty program. Price is very reasonable as well. 5+ stars!!!

I decided to get my first Brazilian sugaring and eyebrows waxed and couldnt be happier with the service. Lorena did my service and she is super sweet and explained what to expect since it was my first time. She made me feel super comfortable and I love the results! Never been this smooth before! Lol! Brittany was my esthetician that I saw during my visit. I went there for their Brazilian Wax services. From the time I came until the time i left she made me feel comfortable. This was my first Brazilian Wax and she made me feel at ease from beginning to end. She was very professional and she answered my questions. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. Since I told her it was my first time, she talked me through the entire process and let me know when she was about to do anything. She shared her experience with me and was so kind. The service was amazing. She spent time educating me and was patient. I did not feel rushed at all. The customer service was superb, even at the front desk from check in and check out. 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE ALWAYS TOO GOOD TK BE TRUE.Not the place to go for a Brazilian. They might be great at eyebrows but that’s not what i went for. I strongly suggest going to a place that is dedicated to doing Brazilians.Everyone is super nice here. I think the skill level just wasn’t where it needs to be. My wax was EXTREMELY painful and I think 20% of the hair was missed.I contemplated writing a review but I have scabs forming from my wax. I’m guessing it’s partially due to how hot the wax was and also the fact that the same area was waxed repeatedly. Which is a huge no no for waxing.I tried to get over it but I am frustrated with my experience here overall.I did mention the wax was hot but sort of tolerable. So she ignored me when i told her it was too hot a 2nd time. Why bother asking if you’re not going to do anything about it?Also, I did my research and found this place. I requested a certain technician since the reviews I read recommended her. They gave me another girl instead, which only would have been okay had the girl that waxed me knew what she was doing.Only a 2 star review bc of how clean it was and how nice everyone was.

OMG. I was wonderfully greeted at the desk. & Idk if it was the ibuprofen I took prior lol but this was the best and least painful Waxing experience I’ve had. Chau was amazing/experienced/knowledgeable. Get her! She got my entire life together I was in FULL Sasquatch/Chubacca mode and she showed no fear! Lol By time she was done I couldn’t find a hair in sight. she talked me through and made it so comforting. OH AND THE PRICE IS UNBEATABLE FOR THE QUALITY!! So recommended!!

This was my first time having my legs professionally waxed. My prior experience was at home with a box of Nair microwavable wax. After this experience I probably wont be doing that any more! Chau was my esthetician. She was nice and made me feel comfortable, actually too comfortable ( I almost went to sleep during my wax) Ha ha! My legs were sooo soft and smooth after, and it was faster and easier than doing it myself.The owners were really nice too, and the facility was really pretty and clean. Ill definitely be back!
