I MEAN WOW!!! I have been in Real Estate over 5 years and have never been so impressed by a property! The staff are beyond friendly and professional, going well above expectations and pulling out the red carpet! I can’t express how seamless and easy Janesa, Nicole, Maureen and Chelsey made my move in! They easily arranged everything to be completely contactless and virtual which was a life saver! Seriously, you won’t find a better home than this!!!
UPDATE: still no response of form of communication from management. I can not wait until I move! I wish I hadn’t renewed my lease. We got new management but this management is no better. Hallways are FILTHY and smell horrible. Walls are disgusting. Management and leasing agents could care less about your concern. It’s located in a beautiful area, but living here would not make your experience enjoyable. I would not move here! The mailroom is broken they are making us pay for a 3rd party mail deliver service. It’s just a all around horrible property that’s being managed. It’s supposed to be luxury but you have people hanging things from their balconies, like covers etc, such an eye sore. Something is always broken and dirty! Save your money and move somewhere else!I have been living here for a year and going into my 2nd year with this property. We recently got new management and have been noticing the positive improvements that the new management has been making to keep this property going in the right direction. The property had started decreasing. However, I do understand that new management is still getting adjusted after a couple of months however I am feeling as if the residents concerns that are being presented to the office is not being taken seriously. I have contacted the management and office on 5 different occasions if not more and sent an e-mail in regards to a matter that I am having and I have been getting the run around. I have been told that they are working on it each time that I call and still no resolution. Recently I called and asked to speak to the manager, who I wasn’t able to get a hold of and was told that they are aware of my concerns but not able to speak to a manager due to them being busy this week. I asked to be placed on hold and would wait to speak to the manager due to the concerns getting out of hand and here I am still haven’t heard anything. It becomes very frustrating when the management does not take your concerns seriously
Observations from a resident who just renewed their lease:The apartment property is fantastic. It looks over a duckpond with a walking trail around it - great for birdwatching. It’s walking distance to a couple of high-end restaurants and is right off the interstate. The second floor boasts high ceilings, big windows, and generally looks very posh. The dog park is small, and holds water/floods a bit when it rains.Things I think you should know:The property is recently under new management. We’ve lost power a number of times over the year that we’ve lived here. The most recent power loss is ongoing (August 2021) and is affecting multiple units, mine included. I’ve been living with my mother-in-law for over a week now, and communication surrounding the outage is lackluster at best, and, at times, unsympathetic. The property management company is negotiating a per diem for people that are staying with relatives or at a hotel. My life feels upended, but at least they’re making a small gesture of good faith.Something else to note: Before the power outage…our air conditioning unit stopped working and also must be repaired once the power comes back on.Good luck.
From the moment I walked in the door to tour the place something felt off! I shouldve listened to my gut before signing the lease! valet never comes to pick up trash, (So thats $30 wasted in extra fees per month!) fees go up every month for no reason on top of extra fees that they add out of the blue WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT..dirty halls that never get cleaned, have had at least 4 break ins, no safety, no security cameras in the halls or the garage, no patrol officer, garage doors are ALWAYS BROKEN, neighbors have trash and dirty belongings all in the hallways!!! Maintenance requests never get completed!! You pay almost $2000 in rent and never get anything in return! I was also charged almost $150 extra in water & sewer fees during a few months where I wasnt even living at my apartment!!!!!!! That issue NEVER GOT RESOLVED!!!On top of all of this the apartments have a community board where all tenants can communicate with each other and there must have been HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS INCLUDING COMPLAINTS ABOUT BREAK INS AND ROBBERIES ALL OF WHICH WERE REMOVED BY MANAGEMENT!! I FELT EVEN MORE UNSAFE AFTER THEY REMOVED EVERYTHING BECAUSE THATS HOW THE TENANTS KNEW ABOUT EVERYTHING GOING ON AT THE APARTMENTS!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST IVE EVER PAID FOR AN APARTMENT AND BY FAR THE WORST IVE EVER STAYED IN!! Please DONT do it!
5 stars for the amazing leasing office staff. Keith has been absolutely amazing from the start. His vibrant personality and humor makes it so enjoyable to be a resident here. Absolutely love him. Keep being you Keith! You are amazing and great at what you do! In addition to Keith, Shantrese has been nothing short of amazing! She is always so helpful, kind and loves her residents. She has gone above and beyond for myself and friend that I even referred to live at the property. She is the epitome of a great leasing agent. If these two are not in the office, I will leave and come back another time when they are. Seeing them absolutely makes my day!
Such a beautiful complex but on move-in day, I was given the wrong unit. Long story short, my unit was switched, but I am having several issues. The air conditioner does not work and no one came to fix it when I moved in on Saturday as promised by the agent. The unit I moved into was not ready- the bathrooms were dirty, there are holes in the wall there the doors meet the walls, I was not given both sets of keys (one per leasee), the lights don’t work in the kitchen, the kitchen sink doesn’t work, there is mold under the sink, paint (maybe nail polish) in various places, found 3 dishes in the cabinets, the patio door doesn’t work properly, the microwave is broken and I do not have a directory code. But- the carpet was clean! As a resident who moved in from another state, this was not a warm welcome and day 3, I’m STILL hot!
Pretty good the property itself is stunning and location is prime!-residents should take better care of the halls though. Wish the property management would get it together a bit. They always seem to be struggling to correctly issue billing, administer property problems and some maintenance for residents. Would not recommend a unit on the ground level on the back side. A sewage pipe has been overflowing for a year for some reason it has seemed to go unnoticed. We also just got a strange middle man delivery service called fetch-wish the luxe package boxes or room was still around, hate having to order a package to a third party carrier then schedule them to come by my house during a 2 hour window.
A friend of mine lives here and the facility looks nice yet the amenities have not been usable. I visited in March and the pool was open and being used by residents but when my friend asked to utilize the community room he received the run around. After a couple of weeks he was told that no residents were allowed to use the community room and the pool area. I think residents pay a lot, even during COVID-19 to enjoy the space where they reside. Hopefully residents will soon have the opportunity again to use what they rightfully pay thousands for.
I’ve been here about a month. Perfect location for me to get to work and still be close to the city without having to deal with a lot of traffic. Shantrese was very helpful and patient with me during my leasing process. She’s very attentive to the needs of her clients and professional.
Keith was very accommodating and helped me move in to my apartment on a very short notice! He made my leasing/moving experience extremely enjoyable. Thank you, Keith :)
Overall, weve had a great experience at The District at Windy Hill. The amenities are kept clean and the apartments are new and modern. Office staff can sometimes seem annoyed when asked to do simple tasks like locating a package from the back but are generally helpful. Maintenance is friendly and quick. Noise from apartment to apartment is minimal, but hallways noise coming in can be disruptive, though its not too common.
What an amazing property and group of staff. I was greeted with joy and excitement by Janesa. She took me on a tour of some of the 2 bed rooms. She listened to the things that I want to have in my place and let me know how to achieve those things with my place. Janesa was very informative, clear and relatable. Can not wait till I’m ready to move in.
I came in on a tour and had the best experience I’ve had touring an apartment ground in a while. Shantrese was nothing short of amazing and made the experience easy for myself by walking me through all the ins and outs. I would definitely consider moving here!
I wanted to share my experience since I moved here June of 2019. First and foremost, the leasing agent I met when I initially came in, Shantrese has been absolutely amazing! She is one of the reasons that I immediately became a resident here. She guided me through the process and made it clear and easy. I was able to tour the facility and units and apply and be approved all within a days time. Talk about efficiency!! Any issues that I had and my first apartment, were taken care of and handled within a respectful amount of time thanks to the help of Shantrese. I’ve resigned my lease a total of 3 times now due to the level of professionalism, expertise and customer service that she and Keith have facilitated since I’ve been a resident. My one complaint would be the that I had to repeatedly ask Candace about my security deposit refund after I left my last apartment. It took well over 2 months to receive the funds after continued emails, phone calls and visits to the office on my own part. I would have appreciated more attention to that matter because I don’t think I could have gone that long and not pay rent and not communicate what was happening. All in all, this is a great place to leave. It’s safe, clean !
I love love love the facility, the amenities and the location but, I have not had the best of luck with management and customer service. I pay a premium to live in a community with “luxury” in the title yet any time I have the smallest of issues, it is like pulling teeth to get assistance from the leasing office. They are all friendly on the surface but when it comes down to work, most of the staff are very lazy. I’ve heard them complaining about their job and the associated work on more than one occasion.
GreatAtmosphere, great food, great place. My server was wonder, the Ambiance was very nice.
I toured this beautiful property and Keith immediately made me feel like I was already home! He was personable, patient, answered all of my questions and talked me through the process. I will be relocating here from another state and was able to begin securing everything I need on this end for a successful move! Thanks Keith!!
There is surely theft issue in the garage. You may wake up in the morning with no tires or rims on your vehicle. The gate to the garage is constantly broken for days. The smell of marijuana reeks the hallways and will make you sick. Pit bulls being kept on the property. On the positive note, its a great location, close to the Brave stadium. I have written management whom stays on the property about these issues and no response as of today. We pay enough here to not feel safe.
If you are looking for an apartment complex with excellent management, amenities and reasonable rent, look no further! I have lived at The District since 2020 and I could not have been happier. If you have any issue be assured the management team will solve it in an expeditious manner. Id also like to note the way they handled and implemented all the health protocols during the worst of the pandemic was commendable.A special shoutout to Shantrese Adams - she helped me pick out my apartment, put up with all my nitpicking during the process, and since the time I moved in, she has always made herself available to answer any queries and/or solve any problems. She is a fantastic leasing agent (ask for her!). Cheers Shantrese and thank you for everything!Another shoutout to Maureen Rodriguez - youre great great at what you do, Maureen! Cheers!
Keith handled my move in and everything has gone smooth. He is really personable and quick. As a fresh graduate (only lived in a dorm and with my parents) preparing for NCLEX.. it was so nice to have someone get me through the move in process so that I have one less thing to worry about! Nice apartments, very modern compared to other apartments in the area. Plus it is hotel style meaning that when you step out of your apartment you are in a building. Less chance of bugs. Will update in a year or so
Keith was very helpful with my touring process my move was smooth and excellent
Let me summarize the property:- Brand new property with the cheapest quality materials used in construction- Broken garage and building access door for 2 months has caused multiple robberies- Service staff is skeletal and only simple requests are addressed. Simple light bulb changes takes 3 to 4 weeks.- With open access to all, good luck with your parcels placed in the parcel room- Totally unprofessional attitude from the staff and your neighborsAvoid this place!
Moved in when it was brand new. Looks nice, but everything is extremely cheap and was clearly hastily built. Residents leave trash everywhere, hallways smell like weed. Did not renew my lease.
I have been a resident here for a little over 6 months now. I visited twice before leasing, both Shantrese and Keith were excellent in giving me a tour of the available apartments as well as the amenity areas. This is a wonderful facility that stays clean, promptly responds to service requests and genuinely cares for their residents. I had some issues early on but since the new Manager (Candace) has taken over, I can tell a major difference in the environment and communication is absolutely great! :)I take walks almost daily to The Battery, yes this apartment complex is that close to the Braves Stadium, but is just far enough away from the action that I get to experience the best of both worlds with the nature and small pond that I can see from my balcony.I am also the first and only person to ever live in my unit which is a tremendous luxury. The pool and other amenities are great as well. If you are on the fence, come by for a tour and see for yourself how beautiful and homey the District at Windy Hill is! :D
Went on a tour of the property a few months back. It was small but it was new so I was so excited. Paid the fees and went through everything with Keith (who seems like he never wants to be at work btw) and submitted my application.Like a week later I hear back that I am denied .. okay that’s fine. I request for my deposit and fees to be refunded and suddenly the whole leasing staff falls off the face of the earth ?¿ whateverFast forward to now, I got a raise fixed my credit and I’m back to get my cute SMALL apartment and Keith wants me to pay to apply AGAIN?¿ NO where is my refund from last time ??I call the property manager and she’s like “well if your credit is where it was before then don’t waste your time” when I told her I fixed it she asked me how ...If she doesn’t know how to fix her credit she should just say that ..ANYWAYS I say all this to say the people in the office are super saddity when they have no reason to be. The apartments are not worth it for the price. ALSO if you’re gonna rush me to turn in an application the first time you should be happy that I came back to try again.
The apartment was brand new when I moved in which was nice, but the experience went down hill weekly. Though the common room was nice and so was the gym. Every door except for main door and 2 from parking garage are locked, even when you try to use your key fob. Parking deck gate was broken often. 2nd building door from main floor of garage was unlocked for months before I moved out. My floor had cops on it weekly for the last 2 months of living there. Fire system was denied by fire inspectors twice in a month and the one time it went off every day for a full week with zero communication from management. Emergency exit door to stairs was locked on my floor. Management changed near the end of my living there and I was excited until she ignored 90% of my emails as well. If they could fix all the broken items in a timely manner and have management and employees who are friendly and care it could be a great location but until this its overpriced and unsafe.
I moved in sometime in October and I love it here. The grounds are beautiful, the apartment is perfect, and the staff has always treated me very well. Both Keith and Shantrese are so nice and have helped me with anything Ive needed since I moved in. Danita is really nice too and recently helped me with upgrading to a two bedroom. The maintenance team is awesome. Ive never needed any repairs because the apartment was perfect like I said but even just for changing light bulbs- they come right away. They go above and beyond with amenities like the coffee station and gym- Ive never lived an apartment that offers as much as this one. I just signed for another year because I love living here that much.
I am overall very happy here at The District at Windy Hill! I am the first to live in my apartment. The entire campus is very clean. I love our clubhouse: the gym, the pool table, all the TVs. My favorite part? Definitely the pool in the summer! I love being so close to The Battery without having to pay The Battery prices (and avoiding the traffic)! I can see the fireworks and ballpark from my window.
Rims and wheels off car get stolen. No security. My floor mate got their tag stolen and later got pulled over because of criminals that the apartment let them in
So happy with my choice to move to The District. From the state of the art gym to the sports simulator room, pool table, and outdoor fire place. We are enjoying the feeling of home with a resort like amenity package. God has truly blessed my family!
OMG! This is the most gorgeous place Ive ever lived in my adult life as far as apartment living- LUXURY is an understatement. I love everything at THE DISTRICT @ Windy Hills.Customer service from the maintenance staff to the property manager is EXCEPTIONAL! Danita, Shantrese, Keith, Holly and other staff provide 5 star service - theyre informative, personable, compassionate and efficient. Every encounter I have with any of the staff has been positive and pleasant. They put the CS in Customer Service. Im not a customer living here because this is home and Im treated like I live with family. THIS IS HOME FOR A LONG TIME because of both the staff and all that is offered, coupled with a fabulous living space. My home is wonderful and so cozy & comforting like the staff and my neighbors. Thank you :)
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE STAFF EVER. THEY WERE ACTING AS IF I WAS RUINING THEIR DAY FOR ASKING INFORMATION. SHANTRICE GAVE ME GHETTO ATTITUDE. I WAS EXPECTING A FIVE STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE BECAUSE OF THE HIGH PRICES THEY HAVE. YOU CAN HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL APARTMENTS BUT IF YOUR STAFF ISNT CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED YOUR PROPERTY WILL TURN UGLY AND TRASHY IN LESS THAT A SECOND. THE REGIONAL MANAGER NEEDS TO TAKE MATTERS IN HAND IMMEDIATELY AND GET BETTER PROFESSIONALS IN THAT OFFICE. LOOK AWAY PEOPLE!
Leasing staff is much less than helpful. Unsafe environment. Parking for those who live at the front of the building was not considered when this place was built. Parking deck is in the back of the building. No keypad for visitors in the parking deck entrance to building 1. Keypads are nonfunctional for guests and they only work sometimes for those of us who have key fobs. Office will not accept packages and there’s no safe locker so they leave them at your door, exposed to anyone walking the hallways. Overall not happy I leased here.
Recently toured the community with Chad and this new construction is in prime location next to the highway, and walking distance from some beautiful trails. The office members were super knowledgeable and attentive, they offered me all different kinds of snacks and drinks which really differs from other apartment complexes I have visited. They also helped me visualize how my furniture would fit in my future home which was very helpful in selecting the right style. What stood out to me the most was the 24/7 concierge that helps you out at any location of the world, and the sports simulation that is basically virtual reality and has a zombie attack simulation that is awesome! I can’t wait to move in and enjoy the Friday night fireworks from Suntrust Park!
My experience living here (6 months) has been great. The front office and maintenance staff (Shantrese and Holly you guys are the best) helped with a smooth move in process and are very responsive with handling any issues that come up along the way.
Never lived there because they cant follow up on applications correctly. They approved me and sent welcome letter and then when I called to move in they changed their decision. Also I’ve been waiting over 4 months for application & admin fees to be refunded mailed to me. Every time I call I never get a response when I will be issued a refund.
Very very rude workers. Me and my brothers were coming over to visit a friend and hang out after school. After walking past the front desk I was greeted with a hello and I kept walking. After passing the second door i turn around and find a white female worker yelling and asking what i was doing here because I wasnt a resident as if the apartments are the most luxury in the world. Very rude asking children that they dont belong when they are just meeting a friend who happens to BE A RESIDENT. Very rude very disrespectful and would never rent from this complex l.So after writing the review above the manager decides to approach once more and ask us to leave the property because they decided our review wasnt the 5 stars they expect. Well I got news not everyone is perfect and if you make a customer or guest feel a certain way then they shall act back in the way they felt wronged.
Beautiful property and amazing customer service. If you want to feel like you’re living in a 5 star hotel in a prime location, live at the District at Windy Hill!!
The staff has been incredibly accommodating. Thank you!
Went to look at the place to see about moving here the sun said close at 6 it was closed when I got there at 5:30 still try again tomorrow came a very long way and waisted gas to get here
Nice Apartments
