Great! This was my daughters first apartment. It was the perfect size for two as the rooms were on opposite sides of the living room giving them privacy. The gated complex was a definite plus as well as trash removal and their own laundry room w/ washer & dryer. Set your trash bag outside the door and it is swiftly taken away. If any problems arose, the staff, especially DJ were always there to help! DJ was always available to answer any questions or take care of their needs. Made me feel comfortable knowing this. I would strongly recommend Camden St. Clair Apartments as a safe, comfortable, and clean place to live! We will rent here again.

My sister and I were able to conduct a in-person tour with our leasing agent Kyle in her new home search and I must say I am extremely impressed with the community presentation, the accessibility to different shopping centers, and most importantly the office staff customer service. The initial greeting was amazing everyone stopped what they were doing and immediately greeted us, gave introductions, and invited us to sit down. We were given quotes, floor plan brochures, a full tour of the community and were able to see available vacant units. We also took a peak in the community amenities as well and love the layout. Each unit came with modern appliances, optional fireplaces, and were spacious! Camden definitely takes pride in their communities and is true to form as far as, including all the apartment amenities that are listed online. Our agent Kyle was very knowledgeable about the community, gave us insight on what to expect and ensured that there are no hidden fees. I must say his professionalism was outstanding, provide us a welcoming environment, and was relatable in many ways. He made the tour comfortable and not about trying to just get a lease but establish trust. The tour was excellent and the icing on the cake was the Property Manager Jesse who took the time to greet herself and also show interest in a prospective resident which hardly ever happens when a tour is conducted and I must say was extremely impressive. Camden St. Clair has exceeded our other choices off of the customer service that was demonstrated today. Great work team and outstanding performance!

Im so glad I chose Camden St. Clair apartments to move into when I left Michigan! This was a major move since Ive lived in houses for over 40 years. The apartment options were perfect for me plus I was able to get a garage. The apartment layout feels more like a home. The entire staff from the office to the maintenance crew have been so helpful with questions or issues and they get the answers or resolve them. Everyone is friendly. The location is near everything that I need. Every time I need to go to a new doctor or store its almost always within a 5 mile radius. Even Midtown Atlanta is only 15 minutes away. The back entrance to the I85 access road is very handy. All these amenities have helped me adjust to my new life in Atlanta.

I was so excited about applying to live at Camden St. Clair. DJ was very helpful during the initial stage of me wanting to live here.. I was somewhat helped by Kyle but he wasn’t very responsive to my questions. The application was vague and confusing and I was denied due to reasons that are unclear. The online application asked me NOTHING about what they require during the process of verification for these apartments. It would have at least been helpful if the manager reached out to me herself, but she didn’t. I also had difficulty reaching the office as I was trying to fix the matter.I had my hopes up for this place but it turned out to be a waste of time and money... I paid $500 (that I now have to wait a month for to get back in a CHECK) in total for app processing and got denied. Very disappointed.

I’ve been a resident for a year at Camden St. Clair. I absolutely have LOVED being a resident here. Jesse the Manager is utterly fantastic. She is a great communicator when it comes to events going on in the complex and area that effect the community. She is such a genuine, warm and caring person. Love her. DJ and Kyle are your always warm and friendly leasing consultants. Always smiling and will take their time with you to address any concerns or issues you have. The maintenance team is great and always prompt. The grounds are kept clean and I always feel safe no matter the time of day I’m coming in or out. This has been the BEST apartment living experience I’ve ever had. Thank you Camden St. Clair.

Updating my review as of 7/13/21. AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS, there are several better options in the area with better management. The apartments and amenities at Camden are nice, but the management, mainly Jasmine Perez, is horrendous when it comes to customer service.I set up monthly recurring payments for my rent from my checking account. I received a $170 late fee from Jasmine. When I questioned her about why this happened she said it was because she received notification from the bank that my account was closed. I went to her office and showed her extensive documentation that my account has always been active, and even got someone from Chase Bank to speak to her on the phone to state that the account has never been closed.Jasmine got on the phone with her payment person who said that I actually tried to pay with a different account. I showed inside my resident portal where I have only ever had one bank account for my ACH payments. When I tried to explain that the error lies in them trying to draw payment from an account that is not tied to my direct withdrawal or any of my existing accounts Jasmine became very heated and told me to leave her office.Between this and going 4 days without air conditioning without any offer to compensate me for the inconvenience of having to stay 4 days in a hotel, I am very dissatisfied with Jasmines leadership and concerned with her ability to ensure that Camden St. Clair remains a thriving community to live in. I got her first line managers number and will be expressing my concerns about Jasmines inability to lead or settle matters of customer satisfaction in a professional manner. If you dont want the headache of having to walk monthly to your leasing office and go head to head with your leasing manager just to get working A/C or to have them correctly withdraw money from your ACH to pay your rent payment....live elsewhere.______________________________________________Initially, I had a very positive experience living at Camden St. Clair. Unfortunately, my air conditioning stopped working after a maintenance man adjusted my HVAC system without my approval while installing a door lock. I had to file 3 maintenance requests, send an email to the property manager, and to my leasing agent to get adequate assistance with fixing my AC unit. I have two small children and with our apartment being 80 degrees indoors during a Georgia summer, we could not sleep there and had to get a hotel for 4 nights.I asked the manager if she would consider compensating me for the 4 hotel nights since they were unable to fix my air conditioning for several days and did not provide me with a temporary solution. I mentioned that I did not want to leave a negative review. The manager Jasmine said I was blackmailing her by saying I would leave a negative review after my experience. I explained to her that the right thing to do as a business is to compensate a resident for the inconvenience of having to stay at a hotel, and that it was my freedom as a resident at the complex to leave a review of my experience. She continued to interrupt me and I told her that I was leaving the office and the conversation because of this unprofessionalism. I would not recommend anyone to sign a lease here.

I have lived at Camden St Clair for about 1.5 years and it has overall been a good experience. One aspect that goes above and beyond is the management. Jessi, DJ, and Kyle are the best I have every dealt with. Every time I had an issue it was so easy to get in contact with them and get it resolved. The maintenance team was great as well. They went above and beyond what was required of them! Always quick to fix anything in the apartment. The only area I believe they could improve is parking and possibly designating an area for kids to play (which is not in the street). Overall good experience.

Maintenance did not fix the issue and management did nothing to accommodate my daughter who is from Alabama. She ended up riding around inThe apartment above hers flooded and leaked down into her apartment. Her walls, electrical sockets and carpet was soaked with water damage. After, several attempts to call management and maintenance she received no help. She had no place to go. This is no way to treat tenants of Camden communities. We advised our daughter to take pictures and call her renters insurance. This is ridiculous.I want to amend my previous review. After speaking with Jessie and DJ our issues were resolved. I appreciate the fact they took the time to speak to me regarding this matter. My partner and I moved into Camden St Clair in March of 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic went into full swing. Let me just say that the Camden community took this unprecedented turn of events in perfect stride. Kyle from the leasing office is the most helpful and informative leasing consultant you could possibly ask for. Jessi, the community manager, has been so communicative and accommodating throughout the whole process. While we haven’t had much time to use the facilities due to social distancing, the whole complex is kept in beautiful shape by our awesome maintenance team. There have been a few small issues here and there at Camden St Clair, but they are quickly turned into non-issues as the team is always ready, willing, and able to remedy any situation thrown at them. I have been a resident with Camden St. Clair since Dec 2017. It has been an enjoyable experience from the maintenance staff to the management staff. I was attracted to this community because they made it evident that they care about the community with the upkeep. The structure of these apartments make sense with large closets and great cabinet space. The only con I would say is parking but that is an issue EVERYWHERE in Atlanta. I think people have to remember this am apartment community not their home so sometimes you may have to park further if you come back late one night. Regardless I stand by this apartment community. There are pros and cons and it depends on whats really important to you. My experience was OK the first half of the lease, but by the last half I am so ready to go.Let me start with the positives, saying that I have had no major problems dealing with Denise or Jasmin, the new kid on the block Nick is OK, I attribute my clash with him to him being new. Maintenance has come within 24 hours the few times I have had to submit a request. The neighbors and staff I have come in contact with will at least speak. The gym is OK and so is the pool area. Rooms and closets are a good size, but the living area is kinda small. Now the rest....If your schedule fits within the window of people not getting home yet you will find parking, otherwise parking is HORRIBLE!!! The new visitor policy is RIDICULOUS AND VERY INCONVENIENT. You have to give your guest a parking tag to put in their car when they get there and then remember to get it back when they leave and there are only about 40 visitor parking spots for the entire complex. The rental rate was a little pricey, but OK for the area, however, the renewal rate increased the rate by $200 which is crazy. I was told that there is storage in every unit, but of course I got one of the few apartments with no storage so we has to pay an additional fee for a small storage unit somewhere else. Bugs were an issue and I found out that pest control spot sprays instead of the full perimeter so we remedied that problem, by spraying the unit ourselves monthly (another expense tho). As every one else stated the gate was always broke, but I have been told that they are working on getting approval to fix it. Had an interesting experience putting in my notice to vacate and the wording didnt coincide with what I was told verbally, but I have been assured that all will be well.My review is just to be informative because everyones comfort level is different. To me, Camden definitely isnt the worst place to live as I have seen reviews much worse in my search to move soon. You just have to decide whats comfortable and acceptable to you...unless you live alone and dont have visitors, parking will probably be a real issue.

My girlfriend and I are renting a 1 bedroom here and the apartment itself is nice. We also chose a unit on the outskirts to be away from the center of the community. Touring the room was actually what convinced us. The staff is really nice and until seeing another post I thought Thomas still worked at Camden (kinda sad). The maintenance guys are also pretty good guys typically willing to lend a hand in my experience. We have had bugs but its not some crazy amount. We saw 1 the first 3 months and maybe a few more since were nearing winter in GA. This is not a 4 or 5 star is because of 2 main reasons. First, there is no parking. If you get home after 930 you will probably have to park in the parking deck and then walk past at least 10 cars without stickers. This is frustrating. Sure I could get the 100 dollars a month garage option but why am I competing with people that dont pay anything? Also I get home really late so walking across the complex at night isnt the safest thing even though its gated. The second reason I cant give this 4 or 5 stars is because of the gate. It works.....sometimes. That being said tonight I got home and the entrance and exit in the back were open at 12:30 am (for maintenance). Often on weekends the gate is just left up. We just had a woman robbed at gun point and remember when I said I get home late and have to park far? This is concerning to me. I have a firearm but my girlfriend is at home alone long before I am and heaven forbid someone kicks our door down and she cant defend herself. Its not the west side but these are things to consider as part of your day to day routine.

I stayed in Camden St Clair for 13 months. Things were great the first 4 months then PARKING!!!! parking is extremely LIMITED for both guest AND RESIDENTS! there were many times i could find zero parking spaces available after work. SO if youre not home by lets say 7:30p give or take parking sucks! then a few months later a new parking policy was put into place! By far the worst policy Ive encountered with my many years of leasing an apartment. ! parking pass per unit. old 11 visitor parking spaces available in each garage, and your visitor has to display a parking permit of they would be booted EVEN IN VISITORS PARKING! the worst!!! Camden was okay. The maintenance team was phenomenal!!! their hard work never went unnoticed. Cars has had there tires stolen off in the middle of the night. Even residents have to park across the street (Briarcliff Rd) an extremely busy street just to park. Rent has gone up, the last 4 months of my least was DREADFUL! i would not recommend this place honestly. Theres far more places in the area that are far much impressive without the strict visitor parking. Its not not the location is downtown or anything.

I give this community two stars because its nice enough to get you in the door, but there are way too many issues once you sign the lease. They always contact you once you speak out because they want to censor your reviews, but if you just look up the crime, you know this specific complex is not safe. I literally lived down the street at Seven Springs and I think I only heard about one incident, if you read the reviews for Camden, it is way to frequent for a gated community in Brookhaven. Further, parking is a BIG issue and I wish someone would have told me (or I would have listened more) before I chose Camden as my home. Instead of just hiring someone to enforce parking, they decided to restrict it more...and likely STILL not enforce it. Besides the fact that they dont enforce resident parking, they recently decided to start giving out visitor parking passes. This is an issue because, depending on which building you live in, the nearest visitor parking area could be on the other end of the complex. So that means your visitors have to go park, walk to your apartment to get a pass, walk back to put it in their car, and then walk back to your apartment. And when they leave, they walk to the car and then go back to your apartment to return it. I think management has a goal of making things as inefficient as possible for residents. And for a community that has an issue with robberies, they sure want people to spend a lot of time outside. I would just do my research before choosing Camden, its worth it.

My car was booted as a visitor at Camden St. Clair. I parked as far back as I could go in a completely empty parking lot which is where I had parked without any issues for months. The resident that I was visiting was vaguely aware that there were new rules for the parking lot but was not informed that my car had to be in one of the visitor marked spots which are hidden underneath a parking deck. It took three days (and about 8 phone calls) to get in touch with someone who actually worked at Camden St. Clair so that I could actually discuss that my car was booted for unfair reasons. Ultimately though, all of that work was for nothing since the person I spoke with still refused to refund me the money after clearly understanding that the reasons for the booting were unfair. The location, the appliances and the space for a one bedroom apartment is just what I needed. Their leasing agents are very cordial and always very helpful. The a/c, the double gate and how quiet this community is (even though we are located next to an interstate) has made my living experience very enjoyable so far.

I have lived here for 7 months and am very pleased. I was hesitate at first to move in because of the reviews but I am glad that I did. I was worried about the safety of the complex but I feel very safe here. Every time I have put in a maintenance request it is quickly responded to. The only reason I can not give this place five stars is because of the frequent marijuana smell. Which the management has addressed in various emails to us residents but obviously it is hard to control what people do behind closed doors. Overall I would 100% recommend this place to others.

First off, the parking here is ridiculously bad for residents!! Don’t even think about having get togethers at your place, as the guest parking policy won’t allow for that. Additionally, there were several noise complaints filed with video proof of the unbearable noise, and the staff did absolutely nothing. Literally had to move out because corporate didn’t even care to fix the issue and they were going to charge me extra to move me into another unit during my 30 day satisfaction period

I am an employee of Camden St. Clair as well as a resident and have been for the last 5 years. I wanted to express how awesome and convenient it has been living here at this property with such awesome amenities and local businesses. Even though I said that I would never live onsite again, my family stayed behind me until I decided to move closer to the city and all its fine shopping and dinning. It actually was a much easier transition than I thought moving from a suburban area. The property setting and landscape really makes for a very beautiful place to call home. All though no property is perfect, my personal experience as a resident has really and truly been great. Im especially impressed with the maintenance staff and how they always quickly respond to service request with great concern. I conclude by saying I imagine my family and I will probably continue our stay until purchasing a home.

I have lived in the Camden St.Clair community since 2013. The leasing agents here are friendly and typically try to help out as much as possible, especially Denise and Sasha. Im surrounded by neighbors that are quiet and mind their own business and I like that. Maintenance request are done faster than ANY complex that I have ever lived in. Sure there are a few quirks here and there (No rental property will ever be perfect) but overall my experience has been pleasant.

I just moved out because I brought a home. Camden st Clair is a great place to live. I spent the past 15 months here and no issues would have stayed had I not brought a house. While I was there any thing that came up Bellancia (manager) would handle it rite away. If she was not there then Jasmine (assistant manager) would step and address the matter. They also have the best maintenance team very friendly and knowledgeable. Mike and Kingsley thank you. To the staff at st Clair thank you all for making my stay a great one.

Visited the apartment, the staff is great. Jasmine helped us to see the available unit twice at two different times and there was no objection. The community has necessary amenities that any working individual would need. I really liked that the community is well maintained and spotless. It is of course a little old but such great maintenance keeps it alive and young. More importantly, it is connected to North Druid hills and toco hills (shops / supermarket) through briarcliff and clairmont rd which is a plus.

My husband and I have been with Camden St. Clair for over a year now. They aren’t the best, Denise always comes off a little high strong, but Thomas (no longer works there) was always polite and made it worth it.We walked into the leasing office today, and Nick and Denise were working. Denise tells us she is occupied but that we can sit at Nicks desk and he would assist us.We are currently in the process of buying a home and wanted to extend our lease on a month-to-month basis until we were ready to move in, so we asked Nick to walk us through the steps. We wanted to know our October Rent and the prorated November rent if we stayed. As we are going over the numbers, he says that for October the rent due would be 2,970 something dollars. The numbers I was coming up with was about $1200 lower, so we asked him to show us the numbers and how he was coming up with the numbers...Nick proceeds to raise his hands over his head and shout, “this is what I have been saying for the past 10 minutes.”When someone is currently paying $1400/month and was about to pay $2015/month (mind you we have a 1 bedroom) that is not the customer service you expect. We are so displeased, we will not be doing the month-to-month and Nick lost Camden about $4000.

Our first day here, there was water running out from behind our fridge. Maintenance had to come cut the drywall out by the fridge and put in a machine to air out the area. So, for the first two days, we had a loud machine using our electricity (which we didnt get credited for) and causing us to not sleep well. Everything else went downhill. Two more leaks, only one repair, constant issues with ants (ants got in our car!!), upside down crown molding (yes...they installed it upside down), break-ins, carjacking, gates are ALWAYS broken, and to top it off, we saw a mouse on our patio last week. The good things I can say are the access road is a big help for my boyfriend and myself and the new staff is nice. They are doing more community-friendly activities. We have food trucks come every now and then, community meetings and the staff is more active on the Camden community site. However, their friendliness does not make up for the subpar living we experienced, especially not at the price that we pay.I would not recommend living here.

Easily the worst experience of my lifeFirst of all, before signing your agreement you should DEFINITELY READ THESE REVIEWS. Notice how all of the 5 star reviews are from EMPLOYEES and they even mention this in the reviewSecond of all we were promised a dog-park, just to find out after moving in they classified their parking lot as a dog-park. Incredible.Thie reports of rampant crime are true, especially car theft. Ive literally come home and seen cars with all four tires set up on cinderblocks. According to Camden its not their problem. There were many more problems but the worst of all was the fact that they took our rent, pretended to never receive it, and ruined our credit. Absolutely terrible people and a sick way to practice business. I am disgusted.

RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!3. To make matters worse, when I confronted the office about the problem (mind you, ive been kind, patient, and understanding due to where my apartment is placed), Jasmine tells me you can terminate your lease, we need 60 days and a half a months rent (or full month, whatever she said. As I continued to express my frustration she proceeds to justify the situation Im living in by saying in the last month Ive only put myself on pest control twice (they only come on Wednesdays btw so I was on the list half of the month). Her negligence is out of control. Not once did she try to be accommodating or give any helpful solutions which had me furious. When asked for a number to corporate she refused to give it to me, insisting that a property manager could only do so (I still don’t have the number to corporate but trust me if it’s the last thing I do before i leave this apartment I will get it). These claims she won’t be able to deny as I had my friend on the phone as a witness.4. IF THE BUGS AREN’T ENOUGH, I’ve had issues with water leaking into my walls which led to these loud air machines being placed in my apartment on multiple occasions (an inconvenience in itself), someone hit my car and fled the scene while it was parked on the outside of the gate (because there was no parking in the gate) and Jasmine insinuated that I was lying because “they didn’t see anything on the surveillance and maybe it was hit somewhere else” (I have OCD so i check everything, making a big dent in my car hard to miss), my friend has found a rat dead outside of my apartment (I have pictures), the walls are way too thin, I can hear everything going on from my neighbors upstairs (the loud fights, if you’re reading this.. I honestly hope you all get some type of help, counseling maybe), someone feeds the stray cats which causes them to linger around my building, negligent management, etc etc etc… the list goes on. If you need more, I got receipts for dayyyyyyysssss. If I was you, I would pay the extra money and move into another Camden location (try creekstone, my friend lives there and loves it. plus it looks a lot better) or another apartment complex in general. The saying is definitely true, you get what you pay. Safe to say, I will not be renewing my lease and I am patiently waiting for February to leave this horrible place.

Review №89

RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!Let me start by saying that Ive been here about 2 years and have had mixed emotions about whether or not to write this review (im a strong believer that Karma works in mysterious ways). However, after yesterday evening and the conversation I just had with Jasmine (a negligent front office person), I felt it necessary to share my thoughts on my rollercoaster experience at Camden St. Clair.Lets start with some positives: the price is wonderful for the location and things included in your rent (similar properties nearby are a bit pricer), the maintenance team are all amazing (especially Kingsley and Perry), the gym is okay and provides the basics you need to get an effective workout in, and the business center is open 24 hours if you need to print something after hours. It is also close to my school and work, which kept me here.However... these positives DONT outweigh the negatives.1. The parking situation at the complex is HORRIBLE. If you work late and dont get home by 9:00 pm, you can bet that youll be walking far to get to your apartment. Fortunately, because I live in the building closest to the entrance, I can park in the future resident spaces that are provided outside of the gate, if I get in too late. However, when those are full, I am walking a very long distance to get to my apartment at night. Your guest have to park in these isolated parking garages that have proven to not be safe (someone just got robbed at gunpoint and there have been car break ins). It is from my knowledge that this Camden location is older, which could be the reason behind the poorly constructed layout of the complex that makes it difficult to park. I will say, if you still choose this apartment after reading this entire review, try to get an apartment on an upper level, next to the parking deck, away from the pool.2. The gates.. they just need to tear those down and install new ones. Like you can only fix something so much until you can’t fix it anymore lol.. like come on, that’s an easy fix.3. Bugs, BUGS, and MORE BUGGGGSSS! This is the south and if youve lived in the south for some time, you know that bugs are a given. However, this does not mean anyone wants to live with them. Since, I moved in 2 years ago, ive had the worst bug problem ever. A little background on my unit: I am on the terrace level, and live in a one bedroom apartment. Ive had everything from water bugs, to tiny roaches, spiders, the bugs with all of the legs that ive never seen before, rollie pollies, and FLYING COCKROACHES (the flying cockroaches were the breaking point for me and the reason behind this review). I am a clean person and take pride in keeping my space clean, so when I saw the first couple of bugs awhile ago and complained, I was told that it was because of the floor that I am on and I would be put on the pest control list. The water bugs, spiders, and creepy bugs with all of the legs (these seem to linger around drains), I learned to live with and stopped putting myself on the pest control list because I had grown used to it (I know, some of you are thinking, why would you do such a thing? Well when the leasing office continuously tells you that water bugs are just going to come because of where your unit is placed, you just accept it. I shouldnt have done this and I regret putting myself in this position). I believe it was easier to accept the water bugs because they are usually dead when you find them in your apartment. However, when the cockroaches, which are alive, running, and flying presented themselves... that was the last straw for me. Last night, 10/28/18 I was minding my business and looked up at the ceiling and saw a huge one. As I tried to kill it, it flew and from that moment, I knew that this review needed to be written. This situation has caused my anxiety to heighten and I don’t even feel comfortable being in this space for the remainder of my lease.**will continue with review on my other account as this is too long to post in one.***

This edit is a addendum to the original review I wrote for Camden St. Clair, which I have kept below. When I moved out of Camden St. Clair, I expected to be thank-youd and good-byed with a smile, for I had been an ideal tenant. Instead, I received a bill of almost $1000 for unreturned parking passes, a custom interior paint job that I was not told Id be charged for, and utility bills paid in arrears. I scrubbed the place down and left it immaculately clean, yet they still charged me about $125 to clean it (That fee was in the contract you signed at move-in, Jazmin said). Incredulous, I was able to negotiate that amount down to about half that. Now, Im being hounded by a collection agency for that amount. What Ive inferred is that Camdens very organized human machine does absolutely everything it can to bleed as much money as possible out of their tenants. They do what they can to make moving out as costly as possible in order that they can hold onto their rent slaves as long as they can through nickle-and-dime-ing them to death, backed up by meticulous record keeping of the exorbitant costs that nail you into your apartment coffin. My advice to new renters is to pay VERY much more close attention to the fine print than I did. What follows is my original review. Beware of Camden - they draw you in with good service, generally speaking, but that service comes at a price.____________________________________Eight months in, I could not be more pleased with Camden St. Clair. I asked for a new Insinkerator, and got one installed within 48 hours. I asked if I may paint some accent walls, and a crew painted them for us within days after we picked the colors off the samples they provided. (Clearly, they want to retain good tenants, which we are). There are bugs in the kitchen occasionally, but I am coming to understand this problem is impossible to escape in old DeKalb county. They spray for them regularly whenever we ask. I like the valet from-your-door garbage pickup, which has failed to show no more than once or maybe twice. The staff is really kind to me and my partner. The landscaping is nicely tended, and I love the trio of mature maple trees close to my window. (Psst, there is a cemetery with centuries-old tombstones cleverly hidden away in the middle of the complex! - a great place to meditate if you are into that sort of thing). There is almost always a place to park in the covered parking garage, keeping cars ice-free in winter and from baking like an oven in summer. They have some locking garages if you want one. The gym and the pool are very, very nice. Free, very good, coffee and tea are always available when the office is open. Etc., etc.!

If I could give them one stars I would. Living here has been a complete nightmare. Let me just say, I moved to Atlanta roughly 2.5 years ago to further my education and I am pursuing my PhD here. I always wanted to live in Atlanta and was one of my biggest accomplishments to be able to move here. My first apartment was downtown and I had a horrible experience. There was a huge bug problem that i struggled with my entire time of my lease. And when i went out searching for new apartments I advised Camden of all of the issues I previously had and did not want to go through that again. Nick was wonderful, he made my move quite pleasant. However, the moment I moved in I immediately started having issues. Crickets were coming from my balcony into my apartment and when I informed the leasing office, specifically Jasmine, they treated me like I was illiterate and said we have never had a problem with crickets. Come to find out they were in fact crickets (they make a distinct noise) and they failed to put the lining under the door so the crickets were able to crawl under and into my apartment. They immediately fixed the issue which made me feel a lot better. Shortly after, I started seeing small little bugs which I tried to not to make a big deal I just requested for pest control. However, I started seeing flying roaches and I was astonished ! I was petrified and advised of the issues and they sent someone out again. Weeks later, I woke up with a huge spider bite in the middle of neck and had to seek emergency care. I simply voiced my complaints in person in the leasing office and advised of how unhappy i was. Now, here I am today, roughly three weeks ago there was a water pipe to burst in my apartment. THREE WEEKS AGO. though Camden was swift to send people out to dry the water at 2 am. They lifted the floors of from apartment, removed all of my clothing from my closet, and removed the boarding around my entire apartment. They also out HUGE holes into my wall and now they are still open and I am not allowed to use my bathroom and have not been able to for three weeks. They advised that they would be sending someone out to fix the damages yet NO ONE has been out to do anything. There are bugs coming out from the huge holes in the all. Jasmine was completely unprofessional. They completely forgot about my condition in my apartment and I had to call them to remind them for them to even start to call around to look for bids as they stated to get someone to come and fix my apartment. Laura, who is completely unprofessional promised me that people would be out to my apartment Monday, at the latest Tuesday to have my apartment repaired. Yet no one showed. She also promised to send me an email regarding our conversation so I could have proof of everything she was doing. She never sent the email and when I asked her about it, she merely stated, oops I sent it to the wrong account. I spelled your last name wrong This is no way to make a resident feel. It has been nothing but problems since I moved into Camden and now I am reaching out to an attorney to help facilitate the issues that have occurred. Do yourself a favor and do not move here

The things going on here are despicable. People already mentioned many of the issues, but to summarize: all 4 tires taken off of multiple cars (the cars were literally sitting on cinderblocks), motorcycles just disappearing out of the parking garage (since they dont bother to put cameras in there, even though so many people have been asking for years), multiple cars being broken into, a carjacking with 2 people held at gunpoint INSIDE THE GATES, 3 apartments broken into 3 days ago and then 12 yesterday. TWELVE. The gates are constantly breaking, so theyre wide open at 4am, and then it takes them weeks to fix them because theyre waiting for the parts to come in. Camden clearly told people to go online and give this place good reviews in turn for free rent or something, because there is no way anyone living here legitimately likes this place and feels safe. I had to pay for an alarm system since Camden doesnt do anything about any of these problems. I also now have to carry a pocketknife since its not even safe to walk to my car. Its literally safer to be living in the ghetto than here. DO NOT move in here. It might seem ok while getting a tour, but thats only because theyre covering up whats actually going on. Oh and Im sure a manager will respond and say crime can occur everywhere or crime rate is going up in the area; however, I talked to a police officer last night and she told me that the area is completely safe and crime free...except for Camden St. Clair.

Let me start with the only good point here, the staff, they are always very nice and helpful!Unfortunately:The very important thing to mention, the noise. 24/7 the i85 is providing you the perfect opportunity to get suitable for mental facility, unless you have earplugs. There are amazing people living there, that you usually would ask howd they pay for here. This is not an affordable place to live, and full of scum, pathetic, ah!?Ive read some of the reviews and I believe one of these concerned the apartment that I lived in, there was a lady the floor above, she doesnt like to assume the carton construction, neither that when she is in her 60, her joints will hurt a lot, she doesnt step on the floor she is punishing it, badly. On top of that, in my last three months there, another group of some unknown tribe get into the apartment below. These people were killing me, I dont know where did they find such a stench, the detergent they are using to wash their kids shitty pants use to smell like hell. These guys smoke joint every single night and to hang out till 2-3am, so I cant leave my windows open anyway. But thats not all, they ware gifted with the peculiar ability to start yelling each other, just like that, suddenly, and to make the child screaming like pig, Oh Gosh, I needed to sleep, some nights. That was apartment pointed as no-family building, so what happened. two families in one apartment.I think lately the complex suffers from low incomes and become open for any kind of humans and semi-humans.Oh, I forgot to mention, from the 4 apartments about mine, there was no dog only in the one I just described, and these little-semi-dog-semi-rats were so angry to the silence.Dont know if necessary to proceed, if you like to live with halfwits and noise, to pay for TV(50dollars) that you dont watch, to enjoy the decaying carpet smell, this is you place.

Lived here one month. My ACH payment failed the first time, they did not contact me about it until 8 days after (funny how it was right after the late fee was put on it), they out out letters for us that just so happened to be probably stolen because no one else got one either, they refuse to replace the dirty carpet that was in our apartment from the previous tenants, the drawer on the bottom of the oven is broken yet the maintenance said its in working order, the dryer takes two times to dry clothes even after cleaning out the vent of all the leftover lint from previous people, the upstairs neighbors walk around like they have concrete blocks strapped to their feet. But let me tell you about how this place is a good place to live. Oh wait, its not. 1 month down, 14 to go.Oh, there is also a Cadillac Escalade on cinderblocks in the parking lot with no wheels on it.
