Amli Buckhead has such a welcoming atmosphere. The community is great, with a cute green space and convenient to many local amenities. (The dog park is a big plus!) The apartment amenities are great with a relaxing pool, functional work out room, pet spa, recycling, and rooftop! As for the unit itself-we love it! Beautiful light all around with the large windows, a roomy and beautiful kitchen, and large rooms/closets. Also, everyone is so kind :)
The apartments themselves are great & so is maintenance. They’re always very responsive. I rated this place 2 stars for that, but if you can save yourself a lot of stress don’t live here. It is so difficult to even get in contact with anyone that works here and when you finally do they are as far from helpful as possible. This is the worst staff I’ve ever came in contact with in an apartment complex. No one has a clue what is going on so make sure if you decide to live here you have everything in order because they sure won’t. Look out for random fees too that you’ll have to ask to be taken off because they are wrong.
The apartments are great, maintenance staff - great, the leasing staff - subpar customer service. When I first moved December 2019, Jevon was there and had exceptional service - after he left the service went down hill from there. At times, it’s hard to get someone on the phone, you will also experience delayed communication via email. Most agents don’t live up to the quality, service, and integrity AMLI brand values - which is very disappointing. There were several cars broken into(including my guest), no email was sent to notify residents (they sent an email the first time it happened). Forget about them being helpful once you move. I spoke with Brittney and she was not helpful in locating my package. Most if all residents know the delivery folks don’t scan all the packages, they just put them in the unorganized package room.If you don’t have to deal with the leasing office once you sign your lease, you will have a good experience. The area is ok - was better pre-pandemic, heavy traffic depending on events near Lenox Mall & Square, walkability to stores and restaurants is a plus, neighbors are friendly, dog park is nice.
I first want to show my appreciation for Eric as an app. agent. His supporter kept everything moving forward & timely for my benefit & Ill always be grateful to him for that. Then, when he couldnt be there, he left me in the very friendly & capable hands of Cody, who welcomed me & made me feel right at home. He also made me feel safe to ask all the new-be questions in my heart. What a wonderful start🤗
I lived at AMLI Buckhead for two years. Overall, it has been a positive experience. I was in a 1B/1B Paces floorplan with park view which I loved. Lots of closet space and a perfect view.Maintenance requests have always been handled quickly; even at night and during holidays. The maintenance staff have always been very nice and courteous. The management/office team have mostly been great. Eric has always been helpful and quick to respond. Others, not so much. The community is nice and clean. I havent had any issues with the neighbors. Youll be living in the city, so theres going to be city noises, but nothing disturbing. Management plans movie & music events along with weekly food trucks which is nice.I do wish management would provide some kind of special offer/incentive to current residents for lease renewal.
I never lived her but i was planning but after reading the BS management responses ...its insulting! No one wants to hear your FAKE I AM SORRY ...THE WANT ACTION! Also be careful they PAY tenants to write good reviews. I read ONLY the bad ones because those most likely are the truth
I’ve really loved living at AMLI Buckhead. The apartments themselves are very high-end, and the ceilings and windows make the spaces feel so much bigger than they are. The area is super convenient and walking distance to Target, Publix, Bucket Shop Cafe, etc. Truly the best apartment complex in the area, especially for the money! Highly recommend!!
This is a really beautiful and modern apartment! I was sold by the tall windows and overall finishing. My experience has been great so far. I was worried about past reviews with regards to the fire alarms, but it hasnt happened ONCE. The staff I have come in contact with have been very helpful and friendly - one thing I really appreciated before I signed my lease was that Eric and Cody were not pushy at all - and were just genuinely helpful and efficient. So I didnt feel pressured. Maintenance requests are also resolved in a very timely manner.Just to remain unbiased, I would say the trash chute is a bit of a walking distance, so if you are used to valet trash you may want to be sure your apartment is close enough to the chute. But that is really me looking for a con -- its not a problem for me.If you are looking for a place, I would definitely recommend AMLI Buckhead.
Great apartment complex with friendly office and maintenance staff. Everyone that works here goes out of their way to be helpful and to say hello when walking around the community. Any maintenance issues I encountered were solved immediately and it is always clean. The pool is a great place to relax and meet other residents. The additional security measures taken by Amli provide an increased sense of safety. It is walking distance to some good restaurants, the mall, the Marta stop and an easy trip to both 85 and 400.
I have lived at AMLI Buckhead for the past 2 years, this has been my best and most wonderful living experience. The wonderful leasing staff, maintenance staff, and building security guard are more than welcoming. Maintenance requests are processed promptly and addressed within a relatively short period of time. If I could give AMLI Buckhead 10 Stars I would. The only issues that I experienced living here was the fire alarm (technical issues) going off at all times of the day/night, AMLI addressed this issue after a few instances and complaints ever since we have not experienced such issues again.I would highly recommend anyone who is searching for a place to live to move to AMLI Buckhead, it is worth every penny.Update on 11/24/20: I have decided to renew my lease and stay. I love it too much here! hee hee.
I have had a great experience living at AMLI Buckhead. The staff are friendly (and dog friendly); the maintenance team is prompt and will resolve service requests same day. The pool is nice and modern with a bar and cabanas. You need a key fob to travel throughout the complex which is great for security. The gym has a ton of equipment for an apartment and has massive fans to keep it cool. AMLI thought about everything when it comes to the units. Our one bedroom is new, modern and has tons of closets and room for storage. The bedroom is a great size and can fit a king size bed. There’s fans in every room with speed control on the wall. The huge windows come with shades already installed. There are air purifier systems installed as well. Our view of Marie Sims park is perfect as well, people are always exercising or walking their dogs but it’s never loud. It’s a great community to live in as a whole.
Throughout our application process we received amazing help! Want to give a huge s/o to Erik who was understanding and so helpful! Excited to call AMLI our home! It’s such a beautiful complex which such sweet staff!
I just renewed my lease here and I still love it as much as I did from the start. The location is amazing and I’m able to walk to Target, Publix, and Phipps Plaza when the weather permits. The entire leasing and maintenance staff here are the best hands down. I am so grateful for them. I put in a work order from the office and it was completed before I got home. I appreciate their consistency, professionalism, and their kindness. The amenities are always kept in pristine conditions and all of the neighbors I meet are cordial. If you are looking in the area AMLI Buckhead should be @ the top of your list.
I have lived here for almost a full year with my husband and daughter, and we are more than happy. The staff has known me since I was still pregnant and now they’ve seen my daughter grow in this short time. The staff (maintenance, front office, cleaning lady, and management) is nothing but kind and professional, and management has been so accommodating to anything I’ve needed. The property is always clean, there’s always parking, free Starbucks coffee in the club room. Neighbors are quiet too. Perfect place for a young professional or a family.
This is an outstanding apartment community and the staff was always very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The amenities and location are extremely convenient to all things Buckhead. I would highly recommend you check this place out if you are in the area.
I recently moved out of AMLI Buckhead due to a job transfer to NYC. I would have transferred, but there are no AMLI properties here. :( I would highly recommend AMLI to anyone looking for a great location and amazing customer service. The office staff is great, the maintenance team is superb, and the community itself is beautiful and very well maintained!Check them out! You won’t be disappointed!
I came for information about the property. Eric took me on an incredible tour. He was knowledgeable, made sure to show me all the amenities and truly made it feel like a place I could call home!! The property is beautiful. Moving can be stressful and Eric put me at ease.
We have lived in AMLI Buckhead for 13 months and have just recently renewed our lease for another year. We love it here. Theres never been an issue (within the control of AMLIs staff and therefore, resolvable) that has not been resolved in a very timely manner. The Leasing staff (Eric, Cody and Janeele (spelling?) are always happy to help with whatever problem/need that I may have. Amanda and Meredith are equally efficient and always available to discuss resolutions and improvements that the residents may offer. Maintenance staff is an absolute dream! Courteous and quick to respond to my maintenance requests. In the spirit of full disclosure, there are some things that the staff cannot resolve and are out of their control (i.e. loud, performance cars and motorcycles that rev their engines as they pass on Roxboro Rd.) and yes there were some issues pertaining the the fire system (which were a total PIA) but the issues were addressed and repaired/replaced in the quickest possible time. COVID-19 concerns have been addressed and they are doing their very best to be cognizant of doing whatever they can to mitigate spreading the virus. I just cant say enough about my positive experience of living here. If you love dogs, this is the place for you! The Marie Sims Park was the dealmaker for us too! Such a nice place and meeting our fellow-dog parents! It has made all the difference in the world to our topsy-turvy year!
I recently toured AMLI Buckhead looking for a 1 bedroom. Eric was so nice and catering to my interests in a new apartment. The community was very nicely maintained and everyone I met was happy and smiling. I am still trying to decide but had to say how amazed I am at the level of customer service and great amenities this community offers.
The staff here is super responsive, friendly and professional. I’d have to say they’re some of the best I’ve interacted with in 20+ years of renting in 5 different cities. The alarms have been fixed (woo hoo!) and I’m thankful!Great location and super convenient to area restaurants and shopping as well.
12/11 Despite great floor plans, friendly staff, awesome maintenance, and for the most part, no issues at this 1-year old complex, what you read in the multiple reviews here for AMLI Buckhead are true. Moving here, expect to be woken up by blaring, jarring alarms at least once a week. Despite AMLI’s comments to other reviewers with assurances that this is only a recent issue, very fixable, etc., after living here for 14 months, I’m here to set the record straight. The fire alarms have been an issue since month one of my move-in, November 2018. So, be prepared. You’ll be enticed with the newness, niceness, convenience, but you will (this is a guarantee) be disturbed by fire alarms on a fairly constant basis (read that as likely once a week), and 90% of the time it will be in the middle of the night. I can only imagine how often it is triggered during the day when I’m at work, and not here to experience it. It’s truly a shame because my roommate and I have fully enjoyed living here, but this constant issue is inexcusable. And, it will most likely get the complex in trouble in the future if a real fire takes place, as no one evacuates the building for alarms anymore. AMLI Buckhead is the building who cried wolf. Let’s hope they don’t end up in a lawsuit over a mass tragedy.Note: as I write this, the fire alarm LITERALLY went off again, after going off at 5AM earlier this morning.
Cannot wait to move from this dumpster fire of an apartment complex. Fire alarms go off weekly between 12am-5am, not because there is an actual emergency but because AMLI is too cheap to figure out how to fix a malfunctioning system. They ask you to contact them but I did a week ago with no response yet. Any positive review of this place seems to be from the workers that live on site. If you have pets, children, or value your sleep, do not move here.
Overall its been positive, but there are some eyebrow raisers for living here (like all Atlanta apartments).1 - Do not lease any unit that is outside of an emergency stairwell (ending in X214). They dont tell you that those stairwells are lit brighter than a police helicopters spotlight at night. They arent motion activated, they are always on from dusk to dawn (conveniently outside of lease tour hours). Even with blackout curtains, I would occasionally put an air mattress in the closet to be able to sleep. (Silver lining, the closets are large).2 - Whats with the reoccuring abandoned cars in the garage? Management is quick to tag and tow them if you let them know, but they show up with shocking regularity and there is not a regular check for these.3 - The walls and floors are razor-thin. I didnt watch the final season of Game of Thrones, but I sure heard it.4 - Your lease will have a section that does not let you break in the event of an employment change or related relocation. Usually you can find a complex that has a reasonable re-listing/other fair fees in case this happens. I knew this going in and agreed to it in my lease agreement, but you dont need to be as foolish as me! Their terms for buyout are to fulfill the full remainder of the lease plus a fee on top that. There is no subletting. I was fortunate enough to have an employer continue to pay for the remainder of my lease after being relocated for work, but seriously think about what would happen if you needed to relocate for work and your employer wasnt as kind as mine.In a short-sighted move for AMLI, I moved to a new city that also has AMLI properties. I excluded all them from my consideration because of their binding lease term mentioned above, so their opportunity cost was for more than they stuck me for!
Had a great tour with Eric! He was very knowledgeable about the community and I love how the community was very sustainable and the building is LEED platinum. Major plus!!! I loved the 2bed/bath apartment with the floor to ceiling windows. Definitely on the top of my list of apartments to live at in Buckhead.
I have lived here for 1.5 years and really do enjoy the community, the amenities, and my apartment is extremely modern and spacious.I would say that my one complaint about this complex is that the fire alarms go off constantly in the middle of the night (due to faulty equipment that causes “false alarms”). So frequently, that people no longer go outside when they go off. It’s a major safety hazard and a nuisance to residents.
I’ve lived here for over a year with not too many complaints. Whenever I have an issue, the leasing office tries to resolve it efficiently. But recently, the fire alarms. Seriously, it will drive you up the wall. 5:00 am and it literally just went on for 20 minutes... no exaggeration. This started happening a couple months ago and has become a huge problem because it’s happening so frequently and at the most disruptive time (12am - 5:00am). I could deal with a lot of small things, but this completely rocks my mind. Hate sleeping, now is the perfect time to move here!!
This place is neglected. Office staff have all turned over, but the same property manager. Property is nice for what it’s worth, but it had its downfalls. It’s not possible for people to come visit you, the call box lets them up but the door to your building is locked.(when the system is actually working.) I’ve reported multiple doors not locking. Fixed one day then not working the next. Oh also know it’s only one trash chute for 400 residents. Which is gonna be a long walk from any apartment. The package room receives packages but never get logged in. So you may have to wait a day or two to actually receive a code to get your package. Or email customer service for the room which takes forever.!!! Recently been a bad chain of break-ins. More than a handful. Office tries to keep it quiet but people talk. Also per the construction in the area, we have multiple power outages. Some 1 hour some 3 hours, it all depends. The entire property experiences power outage. There are no back up power lights in building three. No lights with backup ballast, just exit signs. It’s really dangerous for everybody. I can’t stress that enough, but City of Atlanta is soon to know. The parking garage is also pitch black. As of now these are all the issues. Looking to leave as we speak.
Ive lived here for 6 months and over the past 3 it has become a weekly occurrence of being woken up multiple times in the middle of the night due to faulty alarms. The most recent being last night at 5:00 AM which lasted for about 20 minutes. The fire department didnt even show up for 15 minutes (probably due to all of the false alarms prior). They assured us 10 days ago that they would finally find the problem and fix it but 10 days later still no fix. Its gotten to the point where I cant see myself renewing my lease knowing that I cant get a good nights sleep.
Do you want to get woken up at random hours of the night and be constantly bothered by fire alarms going off for absolutely no reason?? This is the apartment complex for you!!! For whatever reason, multiple times a week, the fire alarms in this place go off for no reason. They start, then stop, and 30 minutes later they start again. 5AM you wanna be woken up? Done. At midnight do you want to be shocked out of sleep and then kept awake for another hour and a half because they keep beeping? Your wish has come true at AMLI!Seriously I don’t know how hard it is to have a working fire alarm system but apparently it’s too much to handle for these people, the last month has been unbelievably frustrating and we are counting down the days until our lease is up. Never have I lived at an apartment complex with this problem, you’d think with all they money we are paying in rent they would be able to fix something like this.
I recently moved out of Amli Buckhead and my experience while living here was nothing short of perfect. The staff was always responsive to my requests or problems that came up. If moving to Atlanta this should be a top choice.
I am currently looking in Buckhead area for a new apt something closer to my business in Brookhaven. I had the pleasure of meeting with Leasing Agent Eric. Eric was great he showed me 3 apartments I had picked out of which I can not say enough about. They were all over the top and amazing. I’m riding out a current lease now but I can guarantee Amli Buckhead is and will be my future home soon.
After 2 consecutive days of them testing the fire alarms now the entire community is being woken up to random 10minute intervals of the fire alarms going off starting at 5 am this morning and continuing on until now, 7 am. They started leasing out units way too early and put this place up way too fast. The door knobs are literally just falling off the doors, theres a draft in the living room from the space between the patio door and the framing, and every day there is a new inconvenience from the construction whether it be construction guys right outside my window looking in or fire alarms. Everyone in the office is very nice but that doesnt negate the fact that I wish I had never moved here.
Beautiful community, professional and knowledgeable staff. Great location and they host great events for residents and people in the community. Keep up the good work!!
Pretty apartments - awful manangement. Faulty fire alarms wake you up and 5 in the morning, car theft, cold water in the morning, you never get your package code, etc. Also, If you like to take baths you can say goodbye if you move here because there is NEVER enough hot water to fill the tub.Even the AMLI employees that live on site do not respect the community.Update****They send these generic e-mails in response to the reviews to contact them. Well I did contact them and I received one equally generic response after which nothing.
**Update 2:After talking to the leasing office about the incident to my car, the office just told me to create a police report and then submit the police report to their corporate offices and that I should follow up with their customer support line to get a reimbursement for the expenses for my car. Even they say thay they might not reimburse. However, after asking about placing cameras inside the gated area they the answer I get is that they are thinking about it even when there are a lot more of incidents in the property.**Update 1:This community does not have security. Every week a car is broken into or an apartment. This time it was me that they broke into my car.I was amazed by how wonderful this neighborhood is, not anymore. This Morning the fire alarm started working at 5:00 AM !! and it continued until 9:00 AM, maybe it is still going but since I am at work I wont know. This morning when I left I also saw many cars broken into inside the gated garage, hopefully mine was not one of those. Every night I see a security guy walking around the parking lot I wonder if he is doing his job.
I have made a record of each of the times the fire alarm has sounded. They always sound in the middle of the night, always mid week, always between 11pm-5am. Multiple times per night. When the first alarm goes off, we are laying with our hands clasped over our ears for the other “shoe to drop”. That fire alarm beeping literally and figuratively, haunts my dreams. There are a few advertising tag lines that Amli Buckhead uses to entice prospective residents on their website:“Energize your lifestyle”is the tag line on the top of the Amli Buckhead website. I would certainly feel much more energized if I was able to get a decent nights sleep without being jolted awake at 30 minute increments between 11pm and 5am.“Lowering Our Environmental Footprint” is also a tag line on the Amli Buckhead website. The amount of times the fire department has raced to get to this apartment only to be met with a false alarm is an obvious drain on precious resources that could be elsewhere. The alarms sound so frequently that no one bothers to leave the building anymore.“Where Style Comes Naturally”, is another one. Style and designer finishes mean nothing when they cannot fix this alarm problem. It has been a year and the alarms continue to sound with no plan of resolve. It’s true that the apartments are aesthetically beautiful, but the only aesthetics I care about at 2am are the aesthetics of the inside of my eyelids.Please. Fix the fire alarms. Or at least change the false advertising on your website.
This place is a joke. After signing the lease they delayed our moving date twice causing us to overstay our lease in our previous place. After we moved in, it all went down hill. Building is not even close to completion as promised. Due to ongoing construction there is dust everywhere and it travels inside the apartments. Upon signing the lease we were told that most amenities would be ready on move in date, but 6 months later its not even close. We were charged $100 for key fobs, but there is no gates or secured doors in our building, so they provided us with fobs for a different building. Our building is wide open for anyone to come in and this caused my car to be broken into. The mailboxes werent ready for a month, therefore we lost packages. Now we have a luxury mail room (crate nailed out of plywood in the parking deck), same situation with the trash room. We were told there was suppose to be trash chute on every floor, but instead we have dumpster next to the luxury mail room in the parking deck. Pest control is amazing, there is army of ants inside the apartment. They keep us amused with electricity outages. We lost internet services twice this month for multiple days due cable room is not insulated, so the cold and dust damaged fiber wires. Even though the location is amazing, the building is unlivable.
Made the mistake of not listening to my own previous recommendation and renewed my lease, since then my apartment has been broken into as have multiple other apartments. Amli put additional safety lock devices on the front doors that are already inside the secured building but havent done anything on the doors that are on the exterior and Ive continually been told the parts are being ordered for them...its been over 6 months. Ive had another package go missing and they continue to tell everyone to have packages delivered elsewhere. So you can pay $2,000+ for an apartment but dont expect to have packages delivered to where you live!?!?! But the issue that is going to affect your daily life is that fact that the fire alarms go off in the middle of the night on a frequent basis. Its been an issue for over a year since Ive lived here but it has been a weekly occurrence recently. As a current resident, I dont recommend. Issues are too many to list but include a package being stolen from the shared package room - their response was to not respond directly to me but to send a mass email stating people should have their packages delivered to their work. Their response time to numerous emails Ive sent is either a week or I have to send multiple emails. The first week I moved in I had dead mice on my patio everyday. It took them 5 days to even determine why it was happening and only after I freaked out on the 5th day about having 40+ dead mice on my patio. Maintenance response time is quick but they have to come into the apartment way too often which is hard when you have to figure out what to do with a pet.
I relocated to Atlanta and was recommended that AMLI would be a great property management company to lease from, but I am still trying to figure out why. I moved in one week ago and had following issues: 1) Day 1 - No hot water. Day 3 - No hot water. Day 4 - Hot water was lukewarm (and thats generous). Day 7 - Another cold shower, hot water was lukewarm. Each time I was told that it was fixed when it clearly wasnt.EDIT: AMLI offered compensation in terms of rent credit for the % of time I faced the issues above, which have since been fixed (hopefully for the last time).
The apartment floorplans are fantastic, pool, gym, ect. All in fantastic conditions. Great location. But god, I have never been so ready to move out of an apartment complex in my life. Once a week (at the very least) there will be a blaring fire alarm between 11pm-6am. I have began to sleep with earplugs every night, and while they dont block out all the noise, it does help my eardrums from rupturing with the extremely loud alarm. Every morning you’ll get an email trying to explain why the alarm is faulty (changes in temperature, lots of people using water at the same time, ect.) but its crazy that this is the ONLY apartment ive lived at that has this issue. May cannot come quick enough and I make sure to let “future residents” who are touring know that they will be woken up by these alarms weekly. Do not live here unless they lower the price of rent to half of what it currently is.EDITED**They tried to make up for the fire alarms by giving me a spatula (hahaha what??). Also your neighbors and their animals can be as loud as they want and they wont do anything about it so keep that in mind.MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM 60 DAYS PRIOR TO MOVING OUT OR THEY WILL JUST START CHARGING YOU WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR EMAILS REMINDING YOU. I send them an email 40 days before I planned on moving out thinking that would be fine considering most apartments (that ive lived at) are 30 days notice. Well, they increased my rent by 20 days so now i will be paying different rents for a month because ive already found a new place. All of this DURING a pandemic when some people are barely able to scrape by as is. I will NEVER live at Amli again and I would advise others to be very careful staying here.(No not send me another kitchen appliance. I will not change my review and trick people into staying here. Lesson is: if the price seems too good, it is. Dont live here and dont listen to the self 5star ratings that their employees and their friends post)
12/11/19: As noted, we were greeted with another early morning fire alarm. At this point, I truly feel helpless as residents have no right to an early lease termination. My advice? Dont move here. AMLI Buckhead is where residents quality of life is wholeheartedly neglected.12/3/19: Revised from 3-star review to 1-star due to fire alarms continuing to sound without reason. I cant lay in bed at night without wondering when I will be startled next.Faulty fire alarms are a regular occurrence (probably 4-5 times a month). Power outages also occur fairly often. The walk to the trash chute is inconvenient, and dealing with the package room is frequently a hassle as well (all issues noted in previous reviews). Otherwise, I have had a pretty smooth living experience with AMLI. The amenities, including the pool, gym and park, are nice and can compensate for some of my reservations Ive had about living in this community.Maintenance has been prompt and responsive to the few issues Ive had within my unit, which I appreciate. However, I will say that sometimes I have felt that some of my concerns voiced to management have gone in one ear and out the other (Ive hardly ever gotten any responses when Ive emailed management directly).Overall, my biggest issue is the constant fire alarms, which are very startling and disruptive to daily life within the community. The mice found in my apartment within two months after moving in were also a significant issue, but that has since been resolved (no recent sightings).May 2020 edit: Fire alarm issue has since been resolved.June 2020 edit: I suggest having packages delivered to an alternate address, if possible. The Luxer One package room system is an absolute mess (i.e. carriers dont scan packages, so you have to constantly request codes to enter the room). I have also had packages mis-delivered to other buildings in the area. Its tough to say whether this is an issue with the carrier or with the building itself. Nevertheless, it has been a major inconvenience, as I cant recall the last time I had a package delivered without issue. I have lowered my star review accordingly.
** changed review from five stars to two**The reason I changed my initially great review is due to the fire alarms. We have lived here for 1.5 years and the first year was great, but for the last few months the fire alarms have been going off CONSTANTLY. At least 2-3 times a week and ALWAYS in the late evening / night / early morning. It’s almost always been a false alarm and they come up with excuse after excuse as to why it went off. I seriously cannot wait until our lease is up at this point. Unfortunately, as many others have pointed out already, there is no way to terminate a lease early. I would think twice about moving here.
I narrowed my search down to AMLI Buckhead and I could not have picked a better place to call home. Of all the apartments in this area, I personally feel AMLI Buckhead offers the most spacious apartments and organizing space(big importance) for your buck. Bonus is the staff! I cant speak highly enough about the Leasing Office and Maintenance teams. Maintenance is prompt, courteous, and efficient. Office staff has always been helpful with any of my needs. Although Id be happy to work with Staci or Javon(forgive me if spelled wrong) any day, I have to give extra cudos to, Eric, my leasing Agent who made this moving process with AMLI Buckhead smooth and easy. Luxor One package system is great here so you can get your packages at any hour of the day thats convenient for you once delivered. The business center is also a plus. You can take care of business without having to run anywhere=a little more quality time at home right?
WARNING: AMLI offers no sort of rent proration although ALL ammenities are closed. (Every single one) AMLI also will NOT offer any sort of reduction in costs assumed to you if you are affected by the covid crisis. We have been throwing away close to $2500 a month now with still no use of amenities. It is terrible living here, I cant wait to leave.*edit they have since opened most (not all) ammenities back upWe have had break ins into vehicles in our parking garage, once was someone breaking the window of a Rolls Royce.People speed in behind other cars all the time, not sure the point of having security near the front, especially when they are distracted on their phone half the timeThere have been murders just a mile all around the facility monthlyThere is feces everywhere outside thanks to a batch of inconsiderate pet ownersThe gates to leave buildings wreak of urine/feces as does the grill area (The maintenance tries to pick up after them but their efforts are waisted on the perpetual nature of dogs using the bathroom)Maintenance has had to enter our room literally 8 times (flooding from below, switches, filters, fire alarms (3x), lights, doors, and a fan) and now with the microwave starting to be fidgety we might need them in again!Package codes fairly occasionally dont get sent and the package is almost always a scavenger hunt in a room filled with hundreds of other boxes.Internet speeds are slower in this location for some reason, not sure whos fault exactly it is. Just be weary about old fiber cables in the building. The trains that go by are frequent and loudNeighbor above got a puppy that cries when they leave. Hours of a whining pup is pretty annoying considering an apt at this price should be sound proof. All of the door/gate/entry batteries/locks have been dead a while now.. no information on when that is getting fixed and we have a secure facilityIm very sceptical of the good reviews on here
The only positive thing about this place are the maintenance staff. They are very nice, prompt and are always willing to help. With that said, The management is horrible here. If you have a friend, significant other, family member or anyone else that would like to come visit you, forget about it.There is street parking and parking underneath the deck for guests which is constantly occupied by residents of the apartment (can tell by the Amli sticker) or construction workers of the new Amli construction nearby. There is a ton of parking at the roof that doesn’t get used EVER, but they are not allowed to park there either. This by far is the most annoying thing at the apartment. The next issue is the package system. They have a Luxor package room. The delivery drivers NEVER use it. They just throw the package in to the room and then you have no way of accessing it unless you ask the leasing office to let you in on THEIR time. Would be nice if we had Luxor lockers like every other new apartment. When you do end up getting into the package room, you have to spend 15-20 minutes rummaging through everyone else’s packages to find your own. On top of that, I never feel safe having any sort of valuable package delivered so anyone in the apartment is able to access it.Next thing that is awful about the apartment are the constant (weekly) power outages and fire alarms. Each happen once a week. Fire alarms typically happen at 4am :)There’s one trash chute for the entire floor so if you don’t live near it, you are spending a good 5 minutes taking your trash out.You have to special request hot water to be turned on for your apartment. When you first move in, you’ll have none of it for some reason.Tons of turnover in the leasing office. Doesn’t feel very “homey”
Saw reps @ the AJC Peachtree Road Race Health Expo on Tuesday, July 2. Was considering taking a look @ AMLI for my next move but after reading the comments & the generic response, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about these issues...etc, Ill keep looking. Auto break-ins behind a gated parking area, no hot water?! Wow. Thank you to all for the heads up.
Multiple break-ins in apartment. Not safe. All tenants should go through a background check. Saw an individual smoking weed in the hallway. Dont respond with apologies or to contact property management that response is getting a tad bit old. Do something about it.
I am sitting here at 5:00 AM writing this as the fire alarm goes off for the 5th time in the past 30 days in the middle of the night. Every single time it’s between midnight-5:00 AM and during the work week. The entire complex complains the next day, they make up an excuse of why it went off, and then it happens again within a few days. It’s been over 3 months since this has been happening, so they’re clearly not working fast enough to fix this. I would move out if I could but they make it impossible to break your lease so the only option is to stay and be woken up 2-3x times a week by faulty alarms!!!
Terrible experience so far. Have only lived here for 3 months and have been awaken by faulty fire alarms once a week at ridiculous times of the night/early morning. I do not pay this much money a month to be dealing with an issue like this. I would much rather live in a cheaper place if it means I don’t have to deal with these sort of issues. This is just one example of the many inconvenient problems I have run into since living here.
All of the staff have been professional and consistently able to respond to the many needs of moving. Thanks to Manny, Vanessa and Rho!
Fire alarm goes off all the time. We have complained and complained but no one seems to care.
Ive lived here for about 7 months and I have nothing bad to say about the community. Im not sure what these people are talking about as far as the auto break ins because Ive never seen nor heard any of this and Im pretty active in the community. From my experience the water has always been able to get extremely hot so Im not sure what others are talking about in that regard, either. Amli is honestly a great place to live so I was disappointed to see that people were complaining so much and giving it low stars. Also, Ive had tons of things delivered that have come to the shared package room and Ive never had anything stolen but I also dont leave it sit there for days and days. Amli is a great place to live and in my opinion its worth the money because they really do a lot for us. To include free rooftop yoga, food truck thursdays, workout bootcamps on tuesdays, and much more. I know you cant please everyone but AMLI is a great place to live even if it is a little expensive.Update: A few days after I left this review; the AMLI team looked up my information and left a really special gift along with a note at my door. This is truly an example of how AMLI goes above and beyond for their residents.
They fixed the fire alarms! 4 star rating only because we are missing bottom shelving to some of our cabinets.
I am totally in love with my new apartment. Great amenities and neighbors :)Update to my prior review after 14 months: We were super excited when we moved to Amli Buckhead. We were assured that safety was top of the list for this community, which turned out not to be true by the end of our lease (march 2020). First of all, within the first month, someone stole my husbands bicycle from our private parking garage. How is that even possible when you need a fob to get into the parking lot? My husband filed a police complaint, but Amli did nothing to review or let the police review their security system. We were offered a discount to our private lockers for bikes, which somehow helped. After that, there were about 5 break ins in the first floor apartments and the security guard was always either watching TV in the first floor social club or letting people in for a massive party (strip club vibe) that occurred in May 2019 in the pool area. The manager of the apartment complex is someone who will never try to help you and always acted rude towards my husband and I. Despite the beautiful apartments and spacious living area, we refused to renovate our lease because management (specially the snobby lady) who knows nothing about caring for the tenants or their complaints. Plus, we found out that since many people left due to the persistent fire alarm going off in the middle of the night (more than 20 times by the end of our lease), Amli was allowing AIRBNB in the apartment complex which made the security issue even bigger. The smell of marihuana would be so obvious in the stairs between the garage and the apartments hallway, and we complaint about it but nothing ever changed. Please note, this is a no smoke apartment complex. The luxer mailing room is everything but luxurious. You will be requesting codes constantly, and it is very disorganized. I would say the only positive thing by living in Amli buckhead was the maintenance group. They took care very diligently of anything that broke in our apartment and clean our common areas constantly. They were really nice. For the amount of money that you will be paying here, you should look for a different apartment complex.
Despite the pretty look on the outside and the good floor plans, this is by far the worst apartment complex I lived in.Before I moved in, while AMLI staff was presenting the complex to me and my wife, I asked if there are any security issues - our agent said there is nothing that they know about. 5 days after moving in, they broke into my truck parked in the gated area as well as other 2 cars. I went back to the leasing office to see if they have a plan or if they are going to react somehow to what happened. They left me waiting for 40 min outside the admin office while she was in front of her computer doing nothing, looking from time to time to see if I’m still there.Besides that, if you move here keep in mind that is a “green” complex. Green - in AMLI’s language - means that you can never take a warm shower in the cold mornings, don’t even think about taking baths, regardless of the outside temperature. In addition to this, the dishwasher is not working properly - the dishes are coming out full of water (I called in maintenance but they said there’s nothing they can do - it is a green appliance).Every weekend there are drunk people in the complex that are going to wake you at 4:00 AM because of fighting, screaming and yelling or by the fire alarms that are not working properly.
Take my advice and dont live here. Youll thank me later.
SO RUDE! SO UNINTERESTED! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! The leasing agent with the blonde hair thats all over the place was so rude and seem so uninterested in finding me a new home here in Buckhead. She was very lazy and even talked down on certain layouts & refused to allow me to see certain units. She claimed she was so hot being that the hallways have no air in them and its so humid. She even made me get my own water out the fridge! Lol this is the first place Ive ever been where they say get your own water over there in that fridgeShe walked me to model homes and said she was LOCKED OUT OF THEM She said she would give me a follow up call Monday to show me more available units when her key gets fixed but I got no call! I really loved the layouts and apartments and wanted to apply but the lack of interest and professionalism I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED!I CANT BELIEVE THESE PLACES HIRE PEOPLE LIKE HER TO TRY TO LEASE APARTMENTS TO PEOPLE! I DIDNT FEEL WELCOME OR AT HOME AT ALL!!
Moved from NC and absolutely love living here.COMMUNITY: Perfect location in Buckhead. Main road is never busy, easy access to all highways and secondary roads. Next door to a nice park with open green space. Ultra-convenient: less than 5 minutes from Publix, Kroger, Target, and central Buckhead. The buildings are attractive, well designed, and its evident that the upcoming amenities are incredibly high class.APARTMENT: Obviously everything is brand new, and it shows. Super nice finishes, attention to detail, and construction quality. Huge windows for tons of natural light. High ceilings provide a grand, open atmosphere. Tons of storage, well-planned layouts, and eye-catching details. Really appreciate AMLIs green initiative and energy efficiencies. Whats good for the environment is good for all of us.STAFF: The on-site staff has been nothing but amazing. From the initial tour with LaToya, to every interaction with the entire office staff and the maintenance associates--everything has been awesome. They are on top of everything, are genuinely friendly, and truly care for their residents by providing top-notch customer service.Looking forward to a long residency at AMLI Buckhead.
Beautiful property!
