Great atmosphere and a great cut.

Cool dudes there but I have some major barbers itch on my scalp (dirty clippers)and the first time I was there the guys clippers were so hit it left a scar on my lip.

Been going here about two years, and when I tell you this man disrespected me this morning I mean it. I made an appointment with Thursday for Friday at 9:00. I arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early hoping Id be able to get in, because it was 26° this morning and windy. He wasnt there when I arrived but as I went back to my car the way I saw him pulling up so I immediately headed back to the shop. There was another gentleman waiting got there about the exact same time as I did walked in a couple seconds before me, must have gotten a text. I sat down and waited for Oscar to get ready, but to my surprise he called the gentleman next to me instead. Iasked him if hed still be able to get me out in time, because when I made the appointment I let him know I had to work that morning. I actually had toook my daughter to school early so I can make this appointment, his response to my question was Ill see what I can do.... So I continue to remind him that I made a 9:00 a.m. appointment since he did not address it, and he immediately snapped back at me with his voice raised and started talking about his personal life and how hes trying as hard as he can. All I was looking for was an explanation on what was going on because I had an appointment that was not being honored. Needless to say I wont be going back here. Which makes me sad because like I said I have been coming here since I moved to Asheville which is about 2 years. Which is over $1000 after tip in hair cuts, hopefully I can find another black owned barbershop in Asheville.

Asked dude to fade on the sides and only cut the top to wear it curls on top and he shaved my head

I walked into the shop today, was able to sit right down. I got exactly what I needed for my trip coming up. The barber was friendly and helpful. I will comeback here. Is located in downtown Asheville and it’s on the corner super easy to find. A great home type of vibe. Employees are very knowledgeable support Local!!!

This is a real barbershop that knows how to cut hair. If you want your hair done right, you have to go here. It is modest in appearance but staffed by professionals. Im sorry I wasted my money elsewhere, this is the best haircut Ive gotten in Asheville.
