Jacob is a great barber. I have been getting my beard and hair cut with Jacob for years. This morning I witnessed Jacob give back to the community. A homeless man came in asking for a trim and was unable to pay. Jacob without thinking told the gentleman to take a seat and he would be right with him after he finished my hair and beard. I know Jacob had a customer after me, but he still took time to work this gentleman into his busy schedule. What a great business. More people need to be like Jacob. His business is immaculately clean, his barbers are all professional, the prices are very reasonable. They care about the local community. I have no complaints. They are a great local business with great customer service.

Ive been going to Fox Barber for almost 20 years. My barber Gary has been great for that time. Clean friendly environment. Not expensive.

Jacob, incredibly kind and precise, gave me the best hair cut Ive ever had. During the hair cut he was blowing my mind with in depth facts of hair science and even though being his last customer of the day, he displayed amazing ability to see down to the finest details with great care. My mom was in shock, and its a haircut Im proud to wake up with the next day. Thanks again!

Jacob is the man if you want a clean fade with no lines he’s the one. He can give you any kind of cut you want. I’ve been going to this shop since I was a kid, loved the old shop but the upgrades are amazing. He’s always accommodating to my busy work schedule. Awesome family man and person.

I tried this barber shop for the first time today and had a great experience. I was hesitant because I know some barber shops are old school and won’t take women, but I find that many barbers are better with short haircuts than other stylists. I talked to Julie on the phone and she said it wouldn’t be a problem. This place is CLEAN, and they are disinfecting everything in between cuts. Julie was my stylist, I showed her some photos of what I had in mind and she did a fantastic job. I will definitely be returning and am so happy I took a chance there!

Jacob is a true master of his craft. I moved here from Cincinnati about 2 months ago. I was recommended to go here by a friend and I do not regret it at all. I have a serious level of anxiety with any new Barber so I was apprehensive to say the least. Lets just say this, after two cuts I can literally go in there, sit down, and relax. Knowing that Jacob is going to take care of me. This is a huge deal. After 2 YEARS, my barber in Cincinnati, I would find myself wanting to make sure they were doing what I wanted. Not with this place, complete trust and peace of mind. If I could give 6 stars I would. Go to Fox Barber and be happy walking out the door.

Best haircut I have received in a very long time. The new owner is extremely professional and obviously focused on improving his business through a hands on approach. I was personally in his chair today and if he holds the rest of the shop to his detail oriented standard of customer care I wont be going anywhere else. Highly recommend. Extremely satisfied.

I came in needing a miracle and I sure got one! My stylist was great and gave me what I needed even though I didnt know what I wanted or needed. Plus everyone was friendly and kind. Place is clean and they are taking all safety precautions regarding COVID but are also understanding. Definitely recommend!

Great cuts great barbers

My little brother has cut his hair here twice asked for a fade last 2 times. today he went in and asked for a fade again and they messed him up again ! He had to go to another barber to get it fixed ! Can’t believe they really charge you after not getting what you want

I recently moved here and could NOT find a good barber! I got bowl cuts instead of fades. I finally found Fox Beauty, Jacob is my barber and fades awesome!!! I am so satisfied as a customer. All of the barbers at Fox I noticed do good hair cuts. And the price is low. Talk about bowtie service at a blue Jean price. Definitely try them out. You will not be disappointed.

BEST HAIRCUT EVER! My husband got a haircut here with Jacob and it literally is the best haircut hes ever had. It takes a lot of skill to do a good fade and its flawless. He also got a lot of help with styling techniques and how to use product for a modern look. Such a great experience, so glad we found this place!!

Jacob is truly a master of the scissors! Most other barbers can’t even compare. The complementary beverage I received while waiting was just the cherry on top. If you have never been here, you’re really missing out. My hats off to Jacob and everyone else at this fine establishment. Job well done.

I have been here 2 times. I get a skin fade. The first time Jacob cut my hair and it was a nice fade then I went back again and Hunter cut my hair and WOW. By far best fade I have ever got. There isnt another Barber in Asheville in any shop giving fades as good as Hunter. Highly recommend him if you get a fade. But if he is busy Jacob will get the job done. Hunter is the only barber that will touch my hair from now on.

Not sure how I missed this place for so long but so glad I finally discovered it. Jacob recently took over this place and has already made tons of improvements. Jacob is an awesome barber and really takes his time to get it right. I have tried nearly every barbershop in town and I don’t think I have been to any twice... and that includes the top five rated ones. I always had to go home and cut stragglers. Just got my 3rd cut from Jacob and haven’t had to make any at home adjustments. Besides that he is super nice and friendly. Fair price, too... not all hipster full of attitude.

We love this place! My son and I both got our hair cut here and couldn’t be happier. The staff was great with a fidgety 5 year old and gave me just the right trim as I grow out my pixie cut. Very friendly and know exactly what you want even if you don’t.

You want the best fade youll get in asheville then go here and ask for Hunter. He cut my hair yesterday. I had a friend recommend him to me and Im glad he did. He took a while to cut my hair, probably about 30 minutes but gave me the best fade Ive ever seen. Call in advance cause he does take his time. Still only charged $15! I recommend you tip him well though cause he deserves it!

The floor had not been swept and was unsanitary. Only two barbers working, and only one would take walk-in customers. Two walk-in customers were already waiting when one of the barbers left to have lunch. The staff seemed uncaring and arrogant. I left and found another barber shop.

One of the few places left in the world where you can get an old-fashioned Barber cut and straight-razor shave, which is something only barbers, not hairdressers, are licensed to do. You can even get a slap of Bay Rum so you can go home smelling like your dad.Ask for Gary- hell take good care of you!

This is an excellent barber and hair styling place in the Asheville area. Jacob Mayberry is my favorite barber I have ever had cut my hair the way I like which is a difficult head to cut as I have a widows peak and a weird cow lick that he has no trouble with but many in the past have made it stick up, but he does a great job with a fade and gives me a great high and tight cut. This will be my go to place until I die, or he retires. Great place!

Man I can’t never get cut here again. My gf said so. I was looking so fresh I couldn’t go out in public bc females were swarming me. Had a chick in a wedding gown leave the wedding mid ceremony to hand me her digits. A grandma offered to take her dentures out and make out and more besides. I’m telling you Hunter Scott is a problem with the clippers.

They accomodated my group of 5 groomsmen, and were very friendly and professional. Jacob gave me a perfect haircut with extra-clean edges, my first ever straight razor shave, and had me looking my best for the big day! JULIE....one of the women in that place gives afro hair permanents and calls them body perms. BEWARE! It costs $160 to get rid of the frizzed out frankensteins brides hair do she charged $65 for. NEVER AGAIN will I walk thru those doors!!!!
